“Fees increase after delivery”

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

Food was awful, the guy who delivered it looked like a hobo who crawled out of a dumpster. The food was total slip. Deleting this app, these people should be ashamed.

What more can I say - ordered for the first and last time from grub hub - food was delivered over an hour late- pizza was ice cold and was the wrong pizza.

These people are scammers they allow for driver errors and restaurant errors and refuse to refund you your money or replace the orders. I have called the BBB on them because they need to be stopped!

Where do I even begin? I ordered my food at 9:15pm. My delivery time kept increasing, and increasing. Finally at 10:30 I called the restaurant. One of their employees answered and as soon as I said we were the grubhub order he knew exactly who we were. Our food was ready for pickup at 9:22. The driver never showed up. At 10:40, that same employee who is NOT affiliated with grubhub got in his car, on his own time, with his own gas money to bring us our food because he felt bad that we had waited so long. I began a customer care live chat immediately following, asking for a refund because grubhub literally did nothing to deserve our money. The restaurant was amazing, and ordering from grubhub made our experience horrendous, we didn't get our food in a timely manner, grubhub played no part in the delivery of the food, and now it is past 11:00 at night and we're finally about to have dinner. This has been horrible. The customer care person refused to refund us, which leads me to my next point of major irritation. We will have to file a credit card claim because grubhub can't even do the right thing and refund loyal customers. I will never use grubhub again and urge anyone who reads this to steer clear. Even the restaurant wants to be done with grubhub, and they will be vouching for me to my credit card company when I file my claim against grubhub.

How can a CEO be so ignorant. I hope your employes take you to the cleaners. Good luck with your racist, hate base you are catering to. Cant wait to see you fall while america rises.

Grub Hub is unreliable. This is just one particular bad experience of many. I ordered food 3 hours ago and it shows delivered but i have no food. The restraunt is one mile from my house.

I don't even know where to start aside from the fact that I did not get items that I paid for it I asked for a contact list delivery twice and did not get that the customer service I dealt with in the chat all three of them were absolutely horrible and I will never ever ever use the service again

GH cancelled my simple Rubio's order yesterday. They said they were too busy!
WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
TOO BUSY? When I heard that I called them to complain. They said most likely it was Rubios that canceled b/c THEY were too busy. THAT'S bull$#*!!

Ordered lunch at 12:30PM and said they I would receive my food around 1:30PM. Around 1:35, they said there will be a delay until 1:55-2:05. At 2:10, they said it will be delayed until 2:30! Grubhub customer service called and said driver picked up the food but they are no unresponsive. 2:45 and still no food... NEVER WILL I USE GRUB HUB AGAIN.

The delivery time was horrible. Had to wait over 3 hrs for our food to be delivered and when it got here it was cold and the shakes were melted. Will not be using this food delivery service again.

So I just traveled from NC to my new home in FL, and simply wanted sushi... Decided to use Grubhub--BIG MISTAKE! So the system said they were having issues with my card, so I called my bank... My bank says that they charged me TWICE! When I called Grubhub customer service, they said I wouldn't be charged, but it was auto-flagged as fraudulent because I used my NC zipcode that is associated with my card. Now I have worked in Merchant Services for some time, and it is not unusual to have food delivered to one zipcode, and then use your home zipcode for billing, i. E. vacationing, etc. At the end of the day, they got it wrong, told me they would review my account, and I told them they have lost a customer...

DO NOT USE GRUBHUB!

GrubHub - why do you show businesses that are closed? I've tried ordering from east coast to west coast. Regardless of the location, show me businesses to order from that are not open! I wait hours just to find out that my money was processed but my order was never placed. YOU ARE A FRAUD. WHY WOULD YOU WANT MY MONEY AND NOT TELL ME THE BUSINESS YOU ALLOWED ME TO ORDER FROM WAS CLOSED!

I was in subway today and saw a grub hub delivery person in there getting ready to pick up an order. His grub hub delivery bag was filthy! I will never ever use grub hub again because of it!

Received a message that food was on the way then another saying my food is here... here where? This is my second and last time using them. I guess they pick up the food and have lunch on you!

If I could give this a zero I would I'm not usually one to write reviews but this evening I ordered dinner at 6 and finally at 10 my order was canceled the restaurant kept pointing to GrubHub and GrubHub kept pointing to the restaurant claiming that they had their own cars I really don't care who has what but if I order through GrubHub I expect them to stand behind it.

I ordered grub hub when I was very sick, as I could not even leave my house. My order never showed up. I received an email the next day saying I was refunded for my oder with NO explanation as to why I never received my food. A few weeks later, I decided to check to my bank account to make sure I was refunded for my money. I had never been charged, but I still wanted to know why I didn't receive the order so I would know for future reference what happened. I chatted with a customer service representative, and she was very short and I felt as though I was the one who had made a mistake. She informed me that I had been awarded a $10 off coupon in my e-mail (as if that was going to make up for me waiting around for nearly 2 hours expecting food that never came, causing me to leave the house to get something when I was severely ill). *also, the coupon EXPIRED by the time I found it in my SPAM folder.* I found the e-mail in my SPAM folder. How would I know to look for this e-mail if I was never given an apology for the inconvenience or explanation of what happened? Who checks their spam folder on a regular basis? Not me. So, the least I could have expected, is the customer service rep would have sent me the e-mail again to make sure I had it or apologized for the inconvenience with an explanation. Instead, she said she was "sorry I felt that way" and to "have a a good night." I will not be using GrubHub again in the future. Terrible service. I wish I could have experienced something good as I had heard great things. I will not recommend this to friends/family in the future.

First time user of Grub Hub. Placed my order online at 5:50 p.m. for a 7:10 delivery time! That should have been my first clue. At 7:15 I call the restaurant, they say they never got the order. I call Grub Hub, he calls me back saying the driver islon his way. He wasn't! Twenty minutes later the owner of the restaurant called and said he'd just received the order and it would be another 25 minutes, I SNAPPED! I WILL NEVER USE GRUB HUB AGAIN! LOUSY SERVICE!

When things go right with Grub Hub orders, it's totally awesome. You have your order in writing so you don't have to worry about miscommunications. You can reorder easily so you're a few clicks away from getting your go-to order from your favorite restaurant. They already have your cc #, so you don't even have to enter it.
In short, it's a great service when it works. The problem is that things go wrong. Delays, wrong orders, etc. No one should be surprised by mistakes, there are people involved and we all make mistakes. The problem is that Grub Hub has no way to report the errors through their app. The only way to report it is to pick up the phone and call them and start this strange process where you call them and then they tell a supervisor and then the supervisor contact the restaurant. Their entire value proposition, the reason they charge us and the restaurant so much money, is that they're supposed to make it easy on the user. Maybe they live in a world where takeout orders are always correct, but I don't. My orders are wrong at least 1 out of 5 times. There has to be an easier way to report mistakes than over the phone.

I ordered food at 7:12pm and by 8:30pm (after calling customer service and texting the driver) I was told that my order was cancelled by the driver but I wasn't notified. I was given refund, I ordered yet again from the same restaurant but different location, and hour later my food finally comes, my drink has dirty water droplets on outside from drivers dirty hands that filled the drink. Then I open the bag and the sandwich is missing. I call customer service yet AGAIN and I'm told I can have a refund but there's nothing else he can do for me. Completely dismissive of my frustration and the service I received on multiple occasions in one night! Grubhub is the worst delivery service EVER! I recommend UberEats over this sucky place any day.

I ordered food through eat 24 for two times, and I had very bad experience that they delayed for over an hour, and the customer service is not responsive at all. Overall very very bad service

The only thing Grub Hub did right was to actually deliver the food to us. Food was FROZEN, and missing parts. Restaurant was very helpful & accommodating but because it used Grub Hub the refund to us HAD TO COME FROM GRUB HUB. I'm 4 phone calls and just over 3 weeks in so far and still have not received my refund. Too many food delivery services out there to pay Grub Hub's ridiculous upcharge! Not again.

NEVER EVER EVER order from them! WORST idea!
Waited 3 hours, contacted them, and they said "should be about 10mins"--- waited another half an hour, contacted them, and they called us telling us we will get a refund (still waiting for my money back) and that they are "sorry". Didnt even tell us the food was being delayed or ANYTHING.

Grubhub credit expired and a customer service agent was very helpful and helped me regain the code in a matter of minutes. Very happy with this service.
