“Fees increase after delivery”

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

I ordered from TGIF through grubhub and got the wrong order. I ordered two Jack Daniels burgers without tomatoes(don't like tomatoes or the juice on my food) and got the order with tomatoes, burgers burnt, and no jack daniels sauce. Called them to complain about my food, they told me that I couldn't get my order replaced or my money back because they did give me the correct order. I told her they could give me another order and I will return the order I got and they refused to return my money or reorder my food. I told them that I put it in my order online, and they still said they wouldn't do anything. They didn't bother to accommodate me or to provide good customer service. DONOT EVER GO THROUGH THEM THEY WILL GET YOUR CREDIT CARD AND DONT CARE WHAT KIND OF FOOD OR SERVICE YOU GET.

I am stunned at how wrong this business operates. I wanted to help out a friend who was experiencing death in his family. I thought ordering lunch for everyone in the household would ease their burden at least somewhat - that they would have one less thing to think about. And I told the friend that the lunch is coming. First, I ordered sandwiches and salads from Subway. The order was placed and the payment was successful. Eat24 said the order is being prepared. Half an hour later I got an email saying the order was cancelled - with no explanation whatsoever. I called that Subway and they literally didn't know what I was talking about. They said they are not affiliated with Eat24 or Grubhub and that they NEVER deliver anything. It's just not part of the services they offer. They actually felt bad. Okay, so I immediately went back and ordered from Firehouse Subs via Eat24, already feeling bad that the friend had to wait longer than expected. The order was placed, the payment completed. Later, I even got a text asking for feedback about the order (as if it was delivered). But it was never delivered! Hours passed and it just never arrived. I called Eat24 directly and spoke with some guy who simply offered a refund. I said I would like an explanation and not just a refund. So he called the driver six times and the driver never answered his phone. At this point the grieving friend and his family just never ate lunch because there was the expectation that the order was to arrive at any moment. So honestly, instead of easing someone's burden this whole thing made matters much worse. I can not believe that Eat24 would screw up not one, but two orders in the same day. They can kiss this customer goodbye as well as everyone I ever talk to because news of such an appalling service travel fast. Thanks for nothing.

You can pick delivery several times and it will default to takeout. Not acceptable. Using Postmates now. If you call Grubhub you get India. Nice...

What a mega lousy company with mega lousy staff. They stink. Always deliver the wrong itam and I pay for this pathetic garbage. Never again.

Usually GrubHub is the number one place I would go to order my food through but today I ordered food, I waited two hours to get my food from Grubhub I texted the person who is picking it up Mark asked him where my food was because I saw him drive to the food place on the maps then I saw him leaving the food place, then I saw him driving the opposite way from where I live 30 minutes later I see him parked 25 minutes away from my house and he sat there for an hour I texted him asked him where my food was it's been an hour and a half since And still don't have my food he said I'm having car troubles And I told my captain. I said OK cool am I still getting my food he said yes should be! So I waited two hours gone by and at this point I'm not even hungry anymore I am so pissed that my hunger disappeared so I called the food place they didn't answer I went I drove myself up to the food place asked if they even came and got it. I talked to the manager the manager came out and told me no no one came to pick up your food. So I'm thinking OK so he didn't take my food and he's not eating it so what happen! So thankfully The manager was nice made my food fresh and sent me on my way. I am giving GrubHub zero stars because I should not have to wait two hours for my food and I should not have to go get my food and I should not have to contact the driver my self to see where the hell my food is, after this experience I am no longer trusting GrubHub or ever using them again and I will spread the word.

Awful experience! Order food at 7:05pm. Said estimated was 7:55pm -8:05pm. Nothing changed on my tracker called the restaurant at 8:15pm. The restaurant informed me my food was done awhile ago and simply no one picked it up. Then I called GrubHub customer service. She informed for what ever reason my driver left and I had no driver. And she just put another driver on route to pick up my food. I asked if there was anything she could do. She said she could give me a 10off for my next purchase. I asked if I could have it on this purchase I made now. She kept repeating "we can give you a code for your next purchase" I informed her that I rather have it on this purchase since I probably will not use GrubHub again. (Rather just pick up my food when it's warm then get cold food). She then said she could refund the tip I charged to my card. I said no to that.(why would I not tip, since it was a new driver) 10 mins go bye and guess what?! I still didn't get a new driver. I did get a refund on the plus. To sum it up I had to contact them to ask why my food wasn't delivered, but the restaurant made my food awhile ago. The said it's because I didn't have a driver. Makes me wonder if I didn't call would I haven't received my food or would I receive it 3 hours later or more?
Don't use GrubHub, your better off picking up your food yourself or using anything else but GrubHub. Unless you want cold food, possibly no driver delivering your food, BUT don't worry you 10 off your next purchase, because the first time experience wasn't bad enough

First time ever using grubhub and the order my driver picked up was an Uber eats order with the same name but different spelling and it literally said UBEREATS on it when contacted they refunded me but did not offer to send the drive back to pick up my actual order. So I redid the online order. I tried to call the grubhub driver heading to the restaurant for my new order to let him know what had happened and to make sure he looks closely at the receipt when picking up he immediately ignored my call so I called the customer service line for grubhub. I told the lady I also wanted more than a refund for my inconvenience all she was offering me was 10% off of my next order. While on the phone my new order was being picked up. The guy went in, picked up (I got a text notification it was on the way) then he sat in the parking lot for 15 mins with my order after my pickup text message. I told the customer service rep on the phone and she tried to call him twice with no answer but assured me my food would be in the way. At that point I said just refund me for both purchases because my food is obviously going to arrive cold because he's just sitting there. Either way 7 more mins pass and I get a text from grubhub saying my order was cancelled and would no longer get delivered so not only did I order twice and both times do not get my food. I also spent an hour and a half of my time doing this that by the time I drove over to the restaurant myself they had actually closed.

Inconvenience and I'm sure the drivers both enjoyed my meals because the right things never made it to me. How are people so incompetent? Never using grubhub again I told her to keep the 10% off coupon she was trying to apply to my account and I told her to cash out my $20 gift card I applied to my account because their company is trash.

Very frustrating time ordering for the first time. I kept seeing $10 off first order but had to call them to get it... That was the first sign that customer service was confused about their product because they kept asking me the same questions over and over about how I could get this. Then, no way to track food because restaurant delivered it... Also the app messed up my zip code... It changed it to the wrong one after i carefully put in right one. That being said, I usually give drivers a heads up about similar address, in area... I had no number to contact. Then the delivery driver said he's outside my house and he was at wrong address. Then he was hostile in tone with me and hung up after giving him correct address. Then driver was defensive to me when he, delivered food. Meanwhile I had already called customer support about delivery. The agent said well who's fault is it, perhaps implying that I put my address in the system incorrectly! I called him out and told him to never accuse the customer and that he was being rude, especially since I took my time explaining the app glitch. Called back another agent after being put on hold for a long while. She was helpful in a way... While still following a weird set of agent rules. She said my refund is dependent on whether the restaurant wants to give it to me? I said not only was food fairly late but I was treated rudely. She said that was only way... So called customer support back again and asked for supervisor after repeating my frustrations. Fortunately, i got refunded for order after 2nd agent texted me... but after so many tries I was pulling my hair out. All along, the app has a bug...
