Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Every single order. Late, driver can't find my house, doesn't follow instructions to find my house and uses inaccurate map. Shouldn't have a service fee if you have to tip
The driver. Many drivers are careless and have no work ethic. On rare occasions the people that deliver the food deserve a tip.
This grubhub is so incompetent and worse among all delivery services. Whenever I order food from an african restaurant, they would cancel it after approving the order meanwhile they're being paid by these restaurants. Also, I remember placing an order for delivery and the app changed it to pick up. I tried changing the delivery and the app won't allow. I chatted them online to change and they said it cannot be changed or canceled. What kind of system is that? Why are they allowed to do business in USA? They're fraudsters.
Not only was the order delayed 4 times before being picked up and I had to contact crib hub 3 times... the order was finally picked up 2 hours and 10 minutes later delayed yet one more time the driver was on his way to our location then got off the route and went in far west direction. I texted the driver no response. So after being 2.5 hours late he thought it'd be ok to drop of someone else's order far out while on the way to deliver mine. Had to call grub hub again and cancel the order.
The worst customer service and worst driver... I will forever use alternative service!

Literally never get my order correct. You end up paying for an order and having to wait for your money back even though every order that's been messed up is on them. Doordash is much better I can't believe anyone actually even uses this garbage app.
Used to order through Eat24 for a handful of local restaurants. But after an order I placed a week ago took 2 hours to get a response, I asked for a refund. They said they would refund me and to refuse the order if it showed up. Well... 45 minutes later (2:45 total time since order) the restaurant shows up. Unfortunately, that was 15 later than the pizza I ordered as plan B. Eat24 still has not responded to my inquiries nor have they refunded me.
When I placed the order it said 30 minutes. Then it changed to over an hour. It's only 4 miles from where I am, but I'm in a semi and can't go just anywhere. And I'm on a schedule. I don't recommend this service at all.
What is it with Grub Hub drivers? In the past year I haven't had one easy Grub Hub experience. The drivers have taken 2 hours to arrive (admitting they are waiting for more orders) and my food was cold and soggy because of it, had me walk blocks away from the drop off location because they didn't want to drive down a street (I even had to leave work), had rude customer service, and when I call Grub Hub customer service they are completely unsympathetic... All for double the price of just going to the restaurant. Not worth it.
Food showed up cold, 2 hours late, after multiple phone calls. Gave them a second chance. Food never showed up, and finally received a call notifying me that my order had been cancelled and I would not receive my refund for 3-5 business days. Goodbye Eat24.
Our order was marked as delivered and never arrived. We got a message saying it was delivered "next door" although there was not one car shown on the security cameras during the time given. We finally were offered a refund but this was not worth the inconvenience at all.
They got here much faster than they has estimated. They man who delivered my food was very nice even though my address got messed up as he went to the neighbors instead. I am very impressed by this site and service :)
Drivers are allowed to accept another order fro the same or nearby restaurant. That means my order sat in the GH bag getting cold for well over 45 minutes. That is not acceptable! I do not recommend Grubhub anymore and will not order from there again.
I've had several orders with stuff missing or them simply abandoning the order upon delivery. On top of it, the restaurant also has a surcharge of up to 30 percent. Simply put, they screw the customer and the restaurant. Never again as I cancelled my service.
I used GrubHub regularly for a 1 month period. Horrible service. Late on multi occasions. Complained about 3 meals that were extremely late or the food was horrible to customer service. They stated they would give me a credit which I never received. Avoid this company.

GrubHub is ridiculous do not waste your money they have the worst customer service and they will steal your money! I don't normally do bad reviews but in this case it's ridiculous enough what I went through to warn others! You'd be better off hiring a neighbor kid to go get your food.
I admit at times they mess up by not submitting my order on time, but I finally figured out the best way to use it so I can still take advantage of the coupons. I order and set the delivery time to two hours or more later. As my day ends at work and I start thinking about dinner, I pull up eat 24, figure out what I want and submit. I don't even have to disrupt my work flow or worry about phone calls and waiting 30-45 minutes for deliver once I'm home, I have a short 15 minute wait for my food. Eat24 is great if you plan ahead. And I mean like way ahead. Otherwise everything is late. If I don't think I can wait at least an hour and a half, I don't order through them. Great when you're in a busy environment that you can't really make calls in, and don't intend to eat for a while. Which is probably just me. Lol
I ordered as soon as the restaurant opened, the order was accepted and my charge card accepted. Valentines dinner from my favorite restaurant, terrific esp since I'm not walking these days due to a recent surgery.
I received a message that our meal will be 15-20 minutes late. My husband sets the table. I hour later I call the restaurant and ask to speak with manager confirm that the food order was received- he reports that no such order was received from Grubhub. I receive a phone call from Grubhub stating, just because you order food doesn't mean that you're going to get it" and I would have to wait up to 5 days to get a refund.
She stated that they never placed the order, my comment was then why send a delay message, if they never placed my order. I've deleted the app
If you have a lot of cash to throw away then this is a great service to get food through... when the order is submitted properly.
I have a couple complaints with my experience so far:
1. Whatever the cost is for your order, basically double it and that's the fee Grubhub will charge you ($25 dollar pizza is now close to $50).
2. On 3 different orders the site never sent the order to the restaurant but it updated it's page to inform me of the estimated delivery time.
3. Today the site had a hiccup and changed my order from delivery to pickup after I submitted. The restaurant said they can't do anything and Grubhub felt a 25% coupon would make it right...
I don't like to say never but I'm doubtful I will ever use their services again. I'd say I do not recommend but you may have a completely different experience than I did... shrug
I ordered food. After an hour and 3 delays I chat with customer service. Kevin S. Said he was keeping my order since I was upset that I would not be getting fresh hot food. Then they didn't refund me. I chatted with them again and they said they don't see where my order was cancelled and refuse to refund me. I have the screen shots to prove they said they were keeping my order. Seriously this company needs to hang it up. Zero stars. I am now disputing the $40 charge on PayPal.
Never ever believe that you will get get your food with these people they just don't care ordered my food and an hour later they said they could not deliver because the restaurant was closed but my beautiful wife went down the street and was able to carry out our order eff GrubHub
Second time I have given this service a chance. Both times it took over 3 hours to deliver the order from a sub shop less than 10 minutes from where it needed to be delivered to. Received emails from the service to review if the food was as ordered even though I did not even have the food for another hour. Deplorable service sorry. There is no reason to 3 hours and 15 minutes to pick up and deliver something at 4pm on a Tuesday. The driver could have lived in another state and arrived sooner. Stay away
Ordered from a Taco Bell 3 miles away. After getting an update that the order was "on its way", The delivery app showed the driver going the opposite direction. Watched him driving everywhere but to my house. 40 minutes after he got the order I contacted GrubHub to let them know it was late. They offered a 10% discount on my next order! I told them if my foos was sitting it the delivery vehicle for over 30 minutes, I didn't want it!. They say I will get a full refund, but no dinner tonight!
Not happy. I just signed up for Grubhub+ because it said I could get a free $10 meal each month. Wasn't until afterwards that saw the fine print of it only applying to pickups. REALLY? Not only are their pickup locations limited, but for those of us that are disabled and without a vehicle, that is a slap in the face. Like I can barely even walk 2-3 blocks on a good day. But trying to walk to and from where the nearest pick-up location is? Not happening. Not to mention that most disabled people are on a limited income to begin with. Heck, that free meal a a big reason I signed up. I use food delivery at least 2-3 times a month, and figured that the $10 a month would make it a good deal. NOPE.
They really can't afford to give members a straight forward $10 off of one purchase per month, whether it is pickup OR delivery? Heck, they could even set a minimum of it needing to be a $20 or $25 purchase. Seriously. Grubhub should do better.
Tip for consumers:
Unless you constantly order large amounts of food delivery a month that constantly go over that $12 limit, the PLUS part of Grubhub, is NOT worth it.

Listed 3 locations of our restaurant on GrubHub. The customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. They will just keep telling you that you need to speak with another department or that you need to email. Then they never respond to the emails. I tried to cancel the service and get our stores taken off, nobody ever responded. After multiple calls and emails for weeks, I just put our restaurant hours as closed all the time. Worst company ever. Please don't give them your money. There are so many better services.
I understand that if you order food online there will be a wait time. However, I expect the "confirmed delivery time" to be relatively close. Eat24 will tell you a delivery time of 35 minutes and you're lucky to receive your order in 1.5 HOURS. Plus, they are owned by Yelp, so they don't get any bad reviews (shocker!).
We waited over an hour for our food only to find that GrubHub never assigned a driver and then they said the restaurant closed before delivery time was reached. Not only did GrubHub drop the ball but they didn't have support enough to fix the problem. First time using and I will never use it again!
