Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Zero stars for this app. I cannot count the times I've gotten to a restaurant to pick up my food and they had not even started making it. The service tells them, "You have an order coming in", but doesn't tell them what the order is. I just now went to pick up my order and got something completely different than what I ordered. I did not leave with any food, yet I still was charged. They offered me a $2 coupon, but I have to spend another $10 to use it. Never again, app deleted.
I work in a restaurant where someone from the GrubHub company phones in an order. Their drivers are always over an hour late to pick up the food and sometimes they do not even show up. Tried calling the company phone to ask about where their driver is and no one answers. Very unreliable and try to promote themselves in any way they can. If you are trying to call for delivery from a restaurant, I would suggest you call that restaurant directly. It will be faster and you are guaranteed to actually receive your order.
I work for a pizza chain, and, in my experience, find grub hub employees to be the rudest people ever. I hate dealing with them. They are apparently sent out before the restaurants can confirm their orders, and they are quick to find fault with restaurant employees even though it is not our fault. I have even seen them pick fights with my coworkers. They seem to think that they are more important than our other customers and are impatient even at a 5 minute delay. They should do us, and their customers, a favor and let our own delivery drivers deliver their orders. $#*!ty customer service, too. I ordered from them once, and I never got my food. Never got an email or a phone call explaining why. Eat24 is much better, both for customers and for restaurants.
Worst delivery service out there. I ordered food and for over a half hour the site said he was en route, even though his car had not moved for the location he was sitting at. Then after almost 40 minutes the driver finally moved to go pick up the food and still took another 20 minutes to get from the restaurant to my house. The restaurant is less than a mile down the road! When we got the food finally, of course everything was cold. The only reason I had it delivered is to help out the delivery service and my local restaurant. But from now on Door Dash only.
All I can do is sit back and laugh. Not at the people who work here, just the looser owner.
I feel sorry for the employees and hope they find something better soon. Too many people in power treat others like $#*! when they don't get their way. They think their entitled to getting their way,

Delivery driver attempted to call us, we missed the call but called right back--twice in a row. He didn't pick up. Never delivered. Customer service offered to cancel the order and refund us. Awesome. Glad I waited 3 hours and my boyfriend and I missed the movie were going to see tonight for that.
Never using again. These people fk it up every time.
4 out of 5 times we've ordered from GrubHub, our food has been delayed (or forgotten entirely). And not delayed by only 10 minutes, but like by 30-45 minutes. Today we ordered for five people and it's already 40 minutes overdue. Just called to find out that it will be another 15 minutes, so close to an hour late. WE WILL NOT order from them again. Not dependable. Don't waste your time. Order from another service.
The last few times I've ordered through GH it's taken longer than an hour. Tonight it took almost two hours then I noticed my driver changed as he was going to pick up my food. I called my new driver and she said there was a glitch with their system then 15 min later my order was canceled by GH. It took them over 2 hrs to cancel my order. I will never order there again..
Watch who you hire, Grubhub drivers are horrible! I requested for my doorbell to be rung and a text once my order arrives. The driver sent a text that my food was dropped off, however my cameras never showed anyone approaching my house, I called my driver and text, no response, I then got in touch with Grubhub who said they would refund all my money within 3-5 business days and offered $10 off my next order, that will not be needed this will be my last time using Grubhub thanks to their horrible driver.

You may not get your food, it’s not worth the chance, choose a responsible company with dependable drivers.
Did I say their customer service is horrible? Want to go and get 3 different answers to the same question from 3 different people? Grubhub customer service is just the place for you! Then at the end, even though they give you 3 completely conflicting answers you end up being screwed since none of the results you got were correct and they can't cancel orders for an order not even started yet, and not even supposed to be delivered for another 2 1/2 hours. Plus if you get customer service from another country, which I guess is your cheap-$#*! decision, at least train them to pronounce the names of places correctly. Seriously, can't say Burger King? Fine and good but working customer service for a place that delivers food might not be in your future.
So I actually liked this app until I noticed that I was getting a couple dollars extra charged each time with nothing shown as to why. It turns out it adds in hidden service charges and things like small order fees. These actually show up if you log in on a PC browser, but nowhere to be seen in the app. Given that most people use the phone app exclusively that means it is pretty much a completely hidden fee.
I took this to the service department and was told this is as intended.
Ordered online and use grub hub. The last two times we wrote a message to the driver stating to please knock on sliding door. Both time our food sat outside for over 20 min before we went and looked for it.
We've made several orders from restaurants, the order doesn't go through and just keeps cycling with confirming order. Numerous conversations with customer service personnel was insulting, belittling and a total nightmare.
They were totally horrible. No attempts were made to rectify the situation. I will not be attempting to use their delivery service again. The suck and should be shut down.
Ordered from local restaurant hours in advance and food came 30 minutes late and barely warm. I live less than 3 miles from the restaurant so no need for this. No apology just handed me my food turned around and walked off. Very bad service I didn't even know the restaurant was using thus service and will never use it again..
This is the second time that Grub Hub has taken forever to deliver food. At this point, I don't think our food is ever coming. It has been over 2 hours since we ordered it, and it was supposed to arrive 45 minutes ago. That was after 2 delays. I called the restaurant, they said the food went out a long time ago. I called Grubhub, waited forever for them to pick up and then was put on hold while they looked for my driver. They never came back to the line. Use Uber Eats or a different company, not Grubhub. They are completely unreliable.
Another company off my list. He doesn't even realize that he's being a bully. Sad, sad, sad. I will not support your hate towards me. Think about it, why do you think Trump won? We are tired of smug, entitled, fit throwing bully's like you. Just wow. Your doing the total opposite of what your accusing Trump supporters of doing. Bully.
I've ordered here numerous times and maybe one time out of 5 they are great. They constantly drop the ball and have either cancelled my order or delivered my food well over 30 minutes of the arrival time. Their customer service is a joke and doesn't do much to rectify the situation.
Three times now after using grubhub, within a few days to a week there are fraudulent charges on my card via grubhub in other states. Three times in a year I've had to shut my card down and get another because grubhub is either terribly insecure or they employ thieves using the cards themselves or selling them to those who do. I'm done with grubhub permanently, and I'm telling everyone I know and anyone who will listen why.
Tried to order $24 worth of food from about 5 minutes away. After grubhubs taxes, "driver benefit fee", and tip the cost was over $50. It took an hour and a half for the food to finally arrive. Was advertised as "free delivery".
The "driver benefit fee" is supposedly so the drivers don't have to depend of tips, but then you're forced to also give a tip...
Why the heck anyone would use this service is a mystery to me.
I had trouble placing an online order and called Grubhub customer service to assist. After two phone calls to different reps were unable to assist providing no help and seemingly being unfamiliar with the current promotions. Big waste of time and energy. Stick with postmates
My issue with this service is that you have to tip upfront and there is no opportunity to rate the drivers. I have had some wonderful delivery folks and some really awful ones. It's a true grab bag and can be quite frustrating at times.
Worst service ever. They even told the restaurant they'd contact me directly an hour & 20 minutes after I ordered. No call. On a Friday night, nearly two hours after the order was placed (and I'd had 2 glasses of wine, prohibiting me from driving to retrieve my own order), I gave up. Oh, just a heads up, the "survey" They provide at the end of a call to them, offers only one question: how was your representative? Well, trying to be kind and expecting a question regarding their actual service, don't be fooled. That's the ONLY question. Then you are disconnected. GRUBHUB

I ordered Dairy Queen which is directly across the road from my apartment. I got a text saying my delivery would be between 8:51 and 9:01. But instead of the driver making a 5 minute delivery to my apartment, they decided to drive 15 minutes away and deliver a couple of more orders. So my delivery time went from 10 minutes to over 33. I canceled the order and the driver got mad at me because she has already picked up the order. I told her that I have waited almost 40 minutes for ice cream. I didn't just pay $28 for melted ice cream. I will never use Grubhub again because of their incompetence.
They hire unqualified and uninsured drivers.
Their driver backed into our five ft rock planter and shattered it. She ran away and refused to stop. We immediately filed a police report. They refused to take responsibility. The police department tried to get information from them regarding the contact information of the driver, they refused to give it and refused to take responsibility. Shame on them! They have so many bad reviews I don't know how they stay in business.

Sat here waiting on my kids food only for the driver to take it to someone else's home. I didn't mind the leave it at the door option, but they could of had a driver competent enough to make sure he was delivering it to the right house. Numbers are on homes for a reason. If it's not free I will NEVER order through them again. A refund and credit does not resolve the issue of my grandkids not getting their food.
