“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I had a gift card for Grub Hub and could not order anything. It would come back as "cancelled and refund" every time I try to order! Others online have the same problem! How are they still in business? Customer Service is useless! Management never returned my call after 3 tries. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! What a scam! I'm changing to Door Dash!

Tip for consumers:
Do not use! Grub Hub is having problems rejecting all orders and no customer service to respond!!! BEWARE!!

Products used:
None. Their site will not let my orders go thru!! It's a problem for many people online also! How are they in business and still listed as a too company??? NO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO RESPOND TO ISSUE!

Order through Grubhub, after an hour of waiting called restaurant per grubhub instructions, restaurant stated that the order had been ready and no one came to pick it up. I went and picked up the food myself. Grubhub refused to pay for their delivery fee, and then I find out they have also up-charged the food they are delivering. So they up-charge the food, do not deliver it and will not refund. Should have never strayed from doordash...

We ordered chinese food in Pearl River through grubhub and we stated that "no garlic" since my husband has allergy. But when we got home the mongolian beef has garlic on it. We chatted to an agent last Tuesday and said they were going to contact the restaurant as as it opens again on Wednesday so we waited. But nothing happened. So today, Thursday, we chatted with a new agent and told us that we can't get any refund and we get 10% off our next order. What I'm angry about is that he told us that were stupid not to check our order before leaving. So basically we don't get anything from a wrong order but that agent calling us stupid

They tried to get me into it after they acquired eat24. I actually really liked eat24... Well, they don't deliver on time and many times they don't even deliver your food. I've had horrible experiences raging from food taking 4 hours to deliver from 4 blocks away from me, to restaurants that give me food poisoning, drivers delivering only part of my items, to food that never arrives (x3). Why do I keep using it? Because they have restaurants that don't get delivered by doordash or postmates. Lately, I've been wondering it its worth it

I have placed 2 orders through this company for the same restaurant and neither time my order could not be found so both times I had to reorder my food and pay for my food again. And when I have called I have been on hold for well over 15 mins. I have also tried to email and no one has responded. I am very aggravated. Both orders were over $55.00. This is irresponsible on the companies part. I will never use grub hub again.

I have had my fair share of problems with apps such as DoorDash and such but GrubHub by far topped it as the worst delivery food service I've ever used. They are not reliable and if your driver makes you uncomfortable they will keep you with the same driver stating they cannot change anything on their end. Not to mention I ordered food and had it refunded because it was disgusting and cold and I used a Grubhub promo for it and they somehow took $17 off my card. The lady wanted me to state my card number on Grubhub support to escalate it and I just said screw it and let them rob me. So do not use Grubhub seriously don't. I also had placed a Panda Express order and waited almost 2 hours for it because my driver supposedly "got into a wreck" so I cancelled the order and replaced it and ended up with the same driver who never picked up my fresh food he gave me the food from the first order. His name was JAMES.

Last night I ordered a pizza from a Grubhub restaurant. The site indicated a $1.99 delivery fee and I was charged accordingly. The pizza was cold, but that's another story. Today I receive a notice that they are going to charge me an additional $4.00 for delivery! I spoke with Grubhub on the phone and they were totally unable or unwilling to help me, even after they reviewed my receipt. I will NEVER use Grubhub again.

The CEO described Mr. Trumps rhetoric as demeaning and insulting to minorities, immigrants and disabled people, and said his views have no place at GrubHub. Had Mr. Trump worked for GrubHub, his comments would lead to immediate termination, Mr. Maloney wrote.

He said GrubHub would fight for employees dignity and rights. In the final paragraph, Mr. Maloney said employees who dont agree with his statement should reply to this email with your resignation because you have no place here.

It is clear this employer is trying to harm the economic life of American citizens who support the new President.

Grubhub should be shut down, they are complete trash! My orders got canceled after an hour of waiting many times. Way more times than I actually received food from them. If they do actually end up delivering the food, then it's an hour after ordering and the food is cold because the driver went all over town after picking up your food! All they do is give you a couple bucks for the inconvenience. What a joke! DoorDash is way better and more reliable.

We are not even a partnered restaurant and they listed our menu on their website. I have tried calling their customer service team over 6 times and each time they have redirected me to a department that says it should be opened according to the times it keeps saying, but keeps saying its closed. I am beyond frustrated. I should not be having to deal with this, especially because I never wanted to be associated with this business in the first place. Called Postmates to have our menu removed from their website also and it literally took 5 minutes. Your poor customer service is the reason I will never consider putting our menu on your site in the future.

I ordered for pickup from the restaurant in the next town using Eat24 of the restaurant website. What a disaster! Order placed ok and it was complete for pickup. In the meantime however, Eat24 texted me to say, Hi, looks like the restaurant is very busy. Your food should be ready by... - EAT24. So of course I waited the 50 (fifty!) minutes requested and when I walked into the restaurant at the time Eat24 said, the place was 2/3 empty and my food was waiting for me, getting cold.
The clerk was surprised when I showed him the text message and said they had done nothing to make that happen. Their standard wait time for pickup is 30 minutes.

So whats the deal, Eat24? More to the point, why would any restaurant owner want to deal with Eat24 and risk their brand and reputation in this way?

Our company ordered food for our client. Not only did we wait an hour + for our food. We were told the food was delivered. Then the driver didn't answer the phone. Then they said well we will give your month back in the next 5 days. Then they cancelled my order and gave a $3 discount on my next order. What a shame. Never use them they only hire the worse people who clearly don't care about their jobs.

Took 2 hours to get an 40 minutes deliverya nd the food was so cold and nasty you could not even eat it. They offer to refund me first 5, then 7 and then finally on $10 to make this right. We order from them at least 1 time a week. Guess we will now see how Doordash works :(

After waiting an hour for my food delivery, the company sent me a text telling me that my order was cancelled. I called their customer service and they stated they didn't have anyone to deliver the food in my area. LOL What a bunch of idiots...

I found charges on my debit card for food i did not order, do not live at the address they delivered to and never sent them any information about my card. Grubhub refuses to help or even be courteous on the phone. Beware of this business!

Ordered pizza... it was delivered cold, burnt and with minimum toppings. Called the restaurant and was told that they would replace it until I said it was cold then they hung up on me. Grub hub offered a $10 certificate for a 30 dollar meal. Bull I say! Don't us them they do not care!

Every time I order from Grubhub it is an ordeal to get them to deliver to the instructions I put in with my order. Today I had to cancel the order because the delivery girl obviously does not speak English and neither does her boss. I will never order from grubhub again. How dare they charge any amount or money for their truly crappy service.

They offer an "automatic discount" that they do not apply then charge a fortune for food that should ordinarily be inexpensive. And, it takes forever. I am not typically one to complain, but this was a joke and I ended up paying $22 for a $6 sandwich and chips. I will never use them again.

Avoid GH at all cost. The driver can see the tip amount before accepting the job. So if you're not a good tipper, you will not see your food. I waited for 1.5 hours for my food last night and it never arrived and I tipped 15%. Just use Uber Eats. GrubHub is a mediocre!

Wow, what a terrible experience. Placed an order and the site said it would be a two hour wait. Called to cancel and they told me that was an error and my order would be there in 45 minutes. Long story short my order never arrived. Just hope I can get my money back now.

They are always with the restaurants and no way near to being customer friendly. Even after 3 hours, my order was not delivered and nothing much was done. I was requested to cancel the order. You can decide for yourself if this is what you expect.

I ordered food from Panda Express 1 hour ago and they were canceled it bc "delivery issues". Their driver just mixed up and took the wrong orders. They just canceled it and made a refund. To which the customer service just apologized and did not provide even any discount or something in return. I waited for an hour and ended up being angry and hungry

I used to have no problem with Grubhub. The food was on time and good. But the past few times I will end up waiting 1-2 hours just for my one single order and it is only one thing! By the time I get it, it is cold and awful tasting. Definitely not worth the price of delivery. I am never ordering from Grubhub again!

Disgusted and more than disappointed with Grubhub's CEO. It's always amazing certain groups cannot accept the mind and choice of others and feel they have to impose their will on those who disagree with them. I will be sure not to use the services of Grubhub.

This has never happened to me with Doordash. No notification or picture of food delivery. Half of my food order was missing. No answer when I called driver. I texted immediately about my order. I was told through text to let customer service know so they can issue refund. There is no customer service on their app or phone number so I called the restaurant. Manager got on the phone and said that he prepared my order and know that my order was fulfilled. I told him driver's name who was supposed to pick up my order. Manager said a woman picked up my food order (not a male) and believes that driver took half of my food order. This food delivery service is the worst! I will not order from Grubhub again.
