“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Went to Jersy Mikes on my way home and bought a giant #13 Italian Sub for $14.45
Ordered the same Sub with Grubhub, on top of the delivery fees, tip for the driver Grubhub on their app charged me $18.95 for the same Sub.
Be careful when you order, know your prices this is outrageous to charge almost an extra $5.00 just for the food,

I placed an order with them an hour ago. The app shows that they are picking up my order. These people called me after over an hour to say that they cannot get in touch with the restaurant. This is the most unprofessional $#*! I have ever seen. If you cannot get in touch with a restaurant just let me know right away! Not a hour later!

Never got my food - driver claimed he couldn't find me and lost cell service... I live off of a Main Street in CT. Will NEVER use them again. In waited hours and ended up with no food. I get so angry every time I see the commercial on TV.

I am highly pissed off beyond measure because this is a terrible inconvenience for me and my gf. I know something small as food is not a big deal but the money you pay for this app for the food to be delivered to your door in the so called "Best quality" is absurd to me and a joke. The fact that we have to preheat our oven to enjoy our meal when the purpose is for us to grab the food and enjoy it. Also I loved how the delivery driver was chilling in a parking lot after grabbing my food and everytime I went to message the driver I got ignored. This app is a joke and once my refund comes in it will deleted.

Two plus hours after ordering, we're still waiting for our food. Generally the restaurant delivers in 20-30 minutes. At 45 minutes, I messaged Eat24 and they said yes, there was an order placed about 45 minutes ago. "So we're good?"… yes we"re good. At 105 minutes, I messaged again and the response was, "oh there was a problem processing the order". Really, why wasn't I told that an hour ago? You need to place your order again.

Why can't they send an email if there's a problem with the order?

Order was expected to be delivered between 12:45 and 12:55. Still waiting for delivery at 1:05. Contacted customer service and was told she would call restaurant and text me that status. That was 10 minutes ago. Still waiting for that response too. Very disappointed. Won't be using the service ever again.

The customer service staff are not very helpful in servicing their customers. I had searched for restaurants near me to order a pizza and found the restaurant that was right down the street from me. Went to go and pick up my pizza only to realize that they had never received my order and my order had gone to another franchise 45 minutes away. I called customer support and got some rude $#*!wad who refused to refund my order so I was credited my money at a restaurant 45 minutes away that I would never visit. Bottom line, their customer service representatives are a bunch of useless $#*!s.

GrubHub just ruined my dinner plans. They took my order, took my $$$, then I get an email 1 hour later with an apology and a cancellation! Telling my my refund will not be available for 3 to 5 bus days?! Will never, EVER, EVER use them again

Ordered from Taco Bell. Food took an hour and a half to get here. It was cold, the wrappers and bag was wet and soggy. Half of the order was adjusted because they were out of the items. They should contact you if this occurs. Half of my family didn't receive food because of this. We were still missing food that was not part of the adjustment. I chatted with customer service they adjusted the missing food, as they should have, apologized and basically said they have no control over the time it takes. Poor service, they didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. We still had to go out and get food. This was my first and last time using Grubhub

If ever in salt Lake city near the airport and needing to use GrubHub don't! Unfortunately our family of 8 arrived at our hotel and immediately put in an order at 9:45pm. We never received a call from the location to tell us our order was cancelled and had it not been for me to go online and try to find the order I would never have seen them cancel it. When I called I got a so sorry that the system Grubhib uses and sent the order to the restaurant they say they never received. When I asked why they didn't call they said it was not their policy to do that. This is so unacceptable and a horrible policy will never use this site ever again.

The order window pretends to keep you up to date but never says when your order is actually ready. It says it's being received and then confirmed, but my food sat cold for like 25 minutes because it never told me to go pick it up. I assumed confirmed meant that the restaurant got the order. I had to call them and they told me that my food had been ready. I'll never use this again.

I placed an order at 6:30 after a 12 hour workday, with another one ahead of me. Received a text the order would be delivered around 8:00. Never received order. Customer service rep I chatted with could not have cared less. Offered a $10.00 discount code off next order, but only after I told him/her that canceling the order was not good enough. Crappy crappy crap crap

An hour and a half after ordering, still no food. I got a call from the manager saying that the food was on the way 30 minutes before I gave up.

I drove to the same restaurant that I ordered from, placed a new order, got the food, and drove back to my house in 20 minutes. Wow. What a waste of time.

Avoid this service!

The lazy Grubhub driver left my food on the 1st floor of my apartment building on the floor in front of a revolving door. I live on the 5th floor. I just had back surgery & was told not to move around. I had to get dress while in PAIN to get my food. I had to take the elevator down to the 1st fl. When I arrived the bag of food was on the floor in front of the front entrance of the building where there is so much foot traffic. There was a foot print on the bag so someone must have stepped on it. I threw the food away. Will NEVER use Grubhub again. Lazy ghetto drivers!

Grubhub has to be the absolute worst food ordering app of them all. They will literally sit there and let your order get pushed back 4 hours like they do for me within 2 places I ordered from and not say a single word to you. I had to call to get my money back and cancel my order and even the lady I talked to was ridiculous trying to get me to do a survey midway through our convo and saying "I don't understand your frustration". Than after all this is said and done I get a coupon for 10% off a order of a minimum of 30 dollars.

I called GrubHub 3 times and each and every time it was bad. One time the food did not arrive within 3 hrs. And the other two times (such as today on 5/24/16) the wrong food arrived. I'm allergic and can't stomach onions. The Patpong Restaurant in San Francisco tossed in onions everywhere and lied about it to GrubHub when they called. The restaurant refused to pick up the wrong order. There was nothing GrubHub could or wanted to do about it. What a shame as I will never order from them again.

I will not be using Grubhub again after my experience today. The restaurant prepared my food as asked but an hour and a half later I had not gotten my food. I was monitoring the tracker and the driver had not moved at all which I thought was odd. The system kept automatically pushing back the ETA, but the tracker did not move. I texted the driver - no response. Thought maybe something had happened so I called the driver and it went straight to voicemail. Reached out to customer service and the agent not only did nothing to look into the issue but copped a completely unnecessary attitude along the way. Ultimately, I ended up canceling but felt terrible for the poor restaurant who lost money through no fault of their own. Lesson learned: order directly from the restaurant next time.

Stay away from grub hub if you order through them and the restaurant cancels the order they claim they will refund your money but they won't I still have not received my money for my order they still owe me so beware of this crooked company

Does the price of your foods go down like the stock price. To the CEO of Grubhub, you little sissy prick. The investors and employees of this business deserve so much better than you. How long before you are fired or resign? The countdown has began.

We received a text saying out order large order ($200+) had been cancelled at the time it was to be delivered. Thinking we needed to double check with the restaurant we found out that the order had been ready for 20 minutes and was waiting to be picked up. If we hadn't checked with them they would have lost not only the sale but all the food that they had prepared for us. I'm discussed with how Grubhub handled this situation and thankful that we reached out to the restaurant directly.

The past two experiences with Grubhub drivers has been negative. On one occasion, the driver left half of our order at the restaurant. He did not go back to get the rest of it. Had to get a refund for the remainder of the order from GrubHub. Today the driver, a person named Yang, picked up the order, said he delivered it, when he did not. Who knows who has the order, if the driver merely kept it for himself. I again had to contact GrubHub for a refund. Think twice before using Grub Hub service. Unreliable.

No stars for starters it was supposed to be free delivery it wasn't. I was credited 4.99 but charged five somewhere else. The tip amount went up the next page from five to six dollars not a big deal but why? I was trying to change it to pickup because of the excessive fees. I scrolled back my browser and it submitted the order without ever taking me to PayPal to authorize the transaction. Then when the food got here one of the main courses was missing. I called the store directly because they know me and asked to get it because dealing with grub hub is a headache. Oh and the restaurant told me that they told the driver that there was no chicken wings (the missing dish) and the guy didn't even tell me this upon delivery Overall they just suck

Ordered my food it was picked up by grub hub at 6:00 with a 6:05 delivery time. I watched the driver location on the app. He drove in my direction the turned away from my location stopping at another restaurant district then drove to another residential location stopped again then drove the opposite way from my location again then 47 minutes latter i got my cold food that was not as ordered the restaurant I ordered from is 11 minutes from my house. So I contacted $#*! hub about the problem and they never responded in any way. Never use or depend of this $#*! service.

Good delayed twice, still arrived late, cold and inedible. The credit was only for pickup witch is useless to me. They're running a scam. Worst delivery service out there. Beware they'll cheat you every chance they get.

These companies are ridiculous saying to help restaurants stay in business. What about the almost million people who are out of work including people who worked at restaurants. Noone seems to care much about those people. Not trying to down the company but how are most people gonna keep restaurants in business when most people dont have jobs now or money to support this?
