“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

No stars for starters it was supposed to be free delivery it wasn't. I was credited 4.99 but charged five somewhere else. The tip amount went up the next page from five to six dollars not a big deal but why? I was trying to change it to pickup because of the excessive fees. I scrolled back my browser and it submitted the order without ever taking me to PayPal to authorize the transaction. Then when the food got here one of the main courses was missing. I called the store directly because they know me and asked to get it because dealing with grub hub is a headache. Oh and the restaurant told me that they told the driver that there was no chicken wings (the missing dish) and the guy didn't even tell me this upon delivery Overall they just suck

Ordered my food it was picked up by grub hub at 6:00 with a 6:05 delivery time. I watched the driver location on the app. He drove in my direction the turned away from my location stopping at another restaurant district then drove to another residential location stopped again then drove the opposite way from my location again then 47 minutes latter i got my cold food that was not as ordered the restaurant I ordered from is 11 minutes from my house. So I contacted $#*! hub about the problem and they never responded in any way. Never use or depend of this $#*! service.

The shame on you shame on me phrase fits with this company. Tried multiple times and had only 1 out if 12 times be worth the wait. Expensive and is slow. Get up off your... and go and get it yourself. The worst thing is traffic or... Don't waste your time or money.

Dinner ordered; a series of messages pushing back the expected delivery time; then no more messages and no dinner. Apparently the food was never prepared and certainly never delivered. Then, magnanimously, GH said they would "refund" me for a service that was never provided! This company will likely fail - the sooner the better.

I would not recommend using grubhub. Twice in one month I had an order screwed up. A few weeks ago I had placed an order that never was received by the restaurant. Today, they sent the order to a different joint. Also, I had to wait 5 days to get my damn refund.

The CEO of this company threatened all of his employees based solely on who they voted for. While this CEO says he supports everyone's right to vote for who they want he demands the resignation of those in his company that do not agree with him.

I will never use this service again!

I ordered food through grubhub 2 hours ago, and the restaurant said they'd make the food, but Grubhub won't pick it up, and is now making the cancer patients kids starve... claiming that the restaurant canceled. The restaurant never canceled, Grubhub called to speak to a employee not a manager, and took their word. How unprofessional that they not ask for a member of management when losing business for the the night. Paying membership is canceled, and will never order from them again.

I ordered a burrito bowl from chipolte. Received only chicken. Can't get I. Touch with anyone at Grubhub to fix this problem and an answering service at Chipolte says if order is incorrect I have to take it up with delivery service. No way this is anything but a bad business deal. Also order food from Canton Restaurant earlier this week and food was so bad had to throw it out. Will never use this service again.

I really wanted to like GrubHub, but two orders in a row have been missing food. After the first incorrect order, they refunded the missing drinks but did not offer me a discount on the missing side items from the entrees. If you pay for an entree with two side items, then you should not have to pay full price for it when both side items are missing (and this happened with two separate entrees -- we were missing six items from our order, in total). After the second order mistake, they offered me a coupon. No thanks. It's completely dishonest to make people pay full price for entrees when they don't get the full entree and accompanying sides. There is no accountability on the part of GrubHub.

As many people have said, I had to call the restaurant (about 10 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered) and they informed me they never got the full order or my contact details to tell me they did not get it.

Contacted GrubHub, was told I would be refunded (we'll see) and was sent a coupon - which I have yet to receive.

The benefit does not outweight he risk.

Didn't receive 2 of the 3 things I asked for, they asked the restaurant for permission to give me a refund which the restaurant denied, saying they'd just deliver the items to me later. What?

They offered me a discount on a future order and I said no, so they wished me a good evening and ended the chat. Oh well; money well spent to know that I'll never be using their services again.

This place is a rip off took money from my credit card $ 42.00 for food that i did not order. Eat24 told me that the email match wtf does that mean then told me i have to do the paperwork to get it back. If eat24 is not in my state [hello] why would you charge my card without checking first

Grubhub does not make food, neither deliver it. It only manages the order to arrive at the customer. He charges for that service. Save yourself some money and call the merchant directly. If you want to give extra money, give to the poor driver who is working hard and not the Fat CEO of GrubHub. When I ordered from GrubHub I got a called from the merchant to let me know they were notified later. The cook stayed later and did my order. The restaurant was good not Grubhub.

Ubereats is much better.

I placed an order, it was going to take an hour for delivery which is fine. I went about my business and when it was time for the delivery I sat down to check my emails. In my emails was a message from GrubHub that my order had been cancelled due to the restaurant changing something. Why didn't they call me? I gave my phone number when I registered. So I called them to voice my complaint and they didn't care. They didn't ask my name or anything else. They did say they were sorry but I could tell the guy I was talking to really didn't care one way or the other. It is also going to take 3-4 days to get my money refunded to my bank account. They said this was a bank problem, not theirs. I would have appreciated a phone call.

Grubhubs system goes down so often they call it Monica, confirm my order, cancel it holding my 58 dollars for three to five days, what if that was all I had or even if not they could have easily redone the order and it would be 10 min later instead they told me it will probably do it again then I would be out another 58 bucks. Quite the little scam to work off our money, something like this happen every time I use Grubhub, easy fix, delete

I have ordered on GrubHub from Round table pizza. It said that delivery was 60-70 minutes. However, after I ordered, it should that pizza would arrive 90-100 minutes. However, the pizza has arrived 3 hours later. I also could not find a place where I can review my experience and had to do it on yelp. The GrubHub rep I called was also not helpful.

Worse meal deliver service you'll ever have to deal with. Never ever using them again. Drivers don't answer the phone. And they are in no hurry to deliver your food at all. I will NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone.

I tried grub hub for the first time. This is the worse delivery service! After thirty minutes, we watched the driver drive past our house. Thirty minutes after that, I get a notice that my order was delivered - we never got it! I called customer service, was on hold for fifteen minutes only to find out that the driver said he walked up to the front door, rang the doorbell and was told I didn't live there. He went to the wrong house! He said he came to my house. Impossible! My husband was waiting outside. We were tracking the drivers progress. Then I'm told that the food was returned to the restaurant. Unbelievable. I will never use grubhub again.

An hour later, they're contacting you to say they're so sorry, but something's gone wrong. The restaurant gets blamed. I really don't care who is at fault. It shouldn't take an hour to figure it out. The $5 credit I received for my trouble is absolutely useless. The tax on an order is about that much. RIDICULOUS.

Being inside a grocery store, you'd think they'd have better quality food. I ordered some delivery through grubhub, excited to be able to get sushi delivered to my door. The rice was dry and crumbling off the sushi rolls, it was clearly not sushi rice, as well as the fish quality was questionable. Hoping I don't get ill.

I used GrubHub to order a pizza from a restaurant I work at. I know exactly how long it takes the kitchen to make a pizza. I also talked to my coworker who put in the order, and she did so as soon as they got it. I waited for an hour and a half past that point. The food was cold. If you're fine with cold food and willing to wait, use it by all means. Otherwise, don't bother.

Grubhub absolutely sucks when it comes to delivery! Either the food is extremely late getting to you or they won't show at all. You call customer service and all they offer you is a sorry! You have to ask for a refund. You'll be better off going to pick up the food you want yourself.

We ordered our food hours ago. The website first changed the delivery address, then cancelled or deleted the order. We received no notification, no error message, nothing to tell us it was cancelled. The order was never even sent to the restaurant. Our Grubhub account shows no order was placed at all, but we can't find out whether they charged us for the order. There's no order #, no contact #... nothing.

The order had large extra fees added for a supposed driver tip, larger than what we agreed to pay. That adds up to a fair bit when the food is $68.

Tip for consumers:
AVOID unless you're literally starving and can afford to throw away a lot of money for nothing. Just call the restaurant directly. If you do end up ordering from Grubhub and want to cancel your order, be sure to contact your credit card company and cancel the charge before you're robbed.

Products used:
Nothing, because we received nothing. We'll find out soon enough if they charged us $97 anyway.

Always use Grubhub to order from home. My first time ordering from work was a disaster. The delivery guy never, ever delivered my food. I tried calling him even texting him, the restaurant even tried to reach him and he never answer. It was documented as if he did. When I reached grubhub they said because it was documented that the food was deliver and that he tried to called (which He never did) they couldn't do anything about it. Extremely disappointed, last time this happens to me. Not trusting this site anymore. Extremely unprofessional drivers.

It was nice to try grubhub, alas, it looks like restaurant give lower priority to orders placed by it...
It is maybe the fees.
I used them a few times, and for the most part food is late, and not as we asked.
I have food allergies, and I had to throw the food away as I do not to go through an epileptic shock...
If I just call the restaurant, I pay the same delivery fees, food is mostly on time, and always per my dietary needs...
Not going to use them anymore
