“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

We've ordered from them twice. The first time the food never arrived even after the confirmation email. Tonight is really the last time we use their services. Basically the same scenario. Food ordered, paid for, email confirmation and almost 3 hour later we get attitude from the gentleman on the phone. I realize it's not his fault however we spent over $70 on food and the restaurant was closed today. Kinda crappy but Eat24 had them open and available for business. Like I said we got an estimated arrival time, we were charged and recieved a confirmation from the restaurant. I'm super sorry that a 10$ off voucher isn't worth us attempting your service again. You already said it be 5 days before we would get our original payment refunded. Please just stop, you aren't very good at this whole thing. Even if Yelp bought ya. They pretty much suck at life too.

I've given Grubhub every opportunity. In more than a dozen orders, they have never gotten it exactly right once. Late, lost drivers, wrong orders, orders canceled after I've waited 90 minutes. And their pathetic attempts to make up for their goofs are borderline insulting. I'm out. I've placed my last order. If you want food, correct and on time, go elsewhere. These guys are the worst.

First of all, I order from grabhub.com every other day for the last 5 months... due to work... we all order religiously it seemed.
Secondly, whenever it said to wait for certain amount of time, the restaurant always deliver about 15 to 30 sometimes an hour before the estimated delivery time.
Thirdly, grabhub.com surprised me with 100% discount on my food a lot... and they don't tell you until the receipt shows up.

It's convenient, easy to use, keeps track of all your receipts... and food you have eaten for diet people. Saved my credit card so i never have to do anything.

Costumer service if you ever need them is super nice and helpful...

I have no complain whatsoever... only praises. Keep it up grabhub.com, you're doing a fine job.
What should i eat tomorrow i wonder...

I have deli store in Ruckersville VA and today we got a call from customer who wanted to order a sandwich we do not sell when we asked customer where did they get that information they said from grubhub and when we went to Grubhub website we found out that Grubhub set up a fake account for us with all the wrong information and when I called to ask them to put this account down they said they need my personal information to close this account. The person was extremely rude on the phone and was threatening me that she will disconnect the call if I don't listen to her. I eventually hung up after wasting 15 minutes of my time. Extremely ill-mannered staff and illegal business practices. Stay away from this business

On 4 separate occasions Grubhub has canceled my order without notification. The they have the audacity to try and compensate me with$5! Its always an issue with them. I will not be using Grubhunb ever again.

I should have been reading the reviews before. God they're awful. Same story as most people below. In my case, the restaurant forgot part of my order and after being on chat longer than 20 minutes was told "they won't refund you cause the fries were only sides" WTAF! Really!? And as others have stated, the same piddly we'd love to offer you a $10 credit (meaningless when most of the minimum's are $15). So yeah, no bye GrubHub. This is one app that will be deleted. Don't waste your time.

First time order gave me a promo code for $10 first order. Signed up, ordered, entered promo code, paid but $10 discount not deducted by GH. $52 order charged on my cc and confirmed by email from cc company.

Went to pick up food, restaurant says they never got the order. While I was in the phone with GH, GH called the restaurant and placed my order exactly as GH had it in their system. I then had to wait for the order to be prepared. GH could not get me the 10 credit to my card but only offered $5 off my NEXT order. Total time on the phone 15 minutes plus 15 more for the order to be prepared.

I called cust service who could not credit me the $10 but would only give me a discount on my next order. I asked to speak to supervisor. They were not available and someone would call me back. 24 hrs later, no call.

NEXT ORDER? YEAH RIGHT!

Sent me chicken strips. I simply wanted my correct order. They said a redund is all thay could do.id rather have the food as Ive already paid. These delivery services are horrible, if your order is wrong thier is no quick fix

Placed an order for my son at college. 30 minutes turned into an hour, turned into 2 hours. Frustrated I called to cancel and try refused since food was "being prepared". I called the restaurant, they told me food was ready an hour ago but no driver came to pick it up. Restaurant says they made it, i pay for it. Two hours later, no food, no refund, no way I'm doing this again!

Second bad experience but by far the worst service I have ever received. I placed an order for a small group of family and friends for ~$60. About an hour and 15 minutes later, after receiving time updates via text, I get a phone call telling me the restaurant that I ordered from is closing early because they ran out of cheese and other ingredients to make the pizza! Huh? Did I have to wait that long to receive that news? They said money would be back in my account within 3-5 business days. They had no answer to the question 'what if that was all the money I had left? Am I supposed to go to bed hungry coz YOU made a mistake?' She honestly said, 'Yes, unfortunately'. Thank God I did have more money and I ended up ordering Dominos so it all worked out. Au revoir grub hub! PLUS JAMAIS!

Ordered Indian food from Empyrean kitchen in Hoboken.
Delivery was ok but a hidden $5.75 for the pleasure of ordering online.
They hide the fee and it's not on the restaurant bill. Sneaky and expensive.
Never use their service again. 1 star because I had to

Grubhub messes up my order to my detriment and their gain every day. I pay for items I don't get every day. "Customer care" is intentionally annoying to deal with to deter customers from even bothering to attempt to get their $ back because dealing with their team of idiots is another wasted hour of life.

The company farms out their deliveries to other businesses who deliver. Ordered from Grubhub and delivery was handled by Dining In. Receipt stated order ready for pickup at 6:46 but wasn't delivered until 8:15, of course food was cold. I will never order fromGrubhub again.

Ordered lunch for work group because we were too busy to go out. 1 hour and 20 minutes later get call that the order is cancelled because 3rd party delivery company doesn't have any drivers until 4pm. They couldn't let me know earlier? You know early enough so my team could still order pizza and have time to eat lunch. Instead they lied and said they'd tried to contact me earlier- not true- no missed calls. I'll never use eat24 again.

My daughter worked for dining in and transitioned to the GrubHub company afterwards. Ever since then she's been treated absolutely horrible. If she refuses order she is denied blocks and is not able to access work. If she doesn't take a specific order that is in a bad neighborhood that it goes against her. I value my daughter's life even though you seem to not care about your employees. Dining in was a great company to work for unfortunately you haven't followed through with their good reputation. You need to value your employees way more than you do. I do not think you will do very good in serving people when your employees are so pissed off about not being able to work. How would you like to live on 10 to 12 hours a week.

I ordered 4 lunches with chips and dessert for a meeting that ran from 11:30-5:00. Of course I paid $62 for lunch, ordered a French Dip with extra Au Jus and not only did I not get extra, I didn't get any. French dip with no au jus is like peanut butter with no jelly... just try. When I asked about having some au jus delivered, I was told that they will not redeliver under any circumstance. So, it's a gamble. For me, there are other places with food that is just as good with MUCH better customer service. Bye GrubHub!

Because of a pretty serious health thing, friends recently gave me two gift cards, one was for $565, the other $100 so that I wouldn't have to worry about meals. It was very thoughtful, but NEVER do this. For delivery, by the time about three different fees are tacked on, a meal will be twice as much as its original cost.

Then there's all the tech glitches. Today, after (mostly successfully) being able to use my GrubHub gift cards, my orders wouldn't go through. S customer support person said I would hear something in 48 hours. Two days. GrubHub took $665 of my friends' money for something I now can't even use and they can't even tell me why.

I can't emphasize enough: Don't ever use GrubHub or Seamless. Just send your buddies some $ via Zelle or something. These food delivery places are a ripoff.

Ordered food that never showed up, driver who doesn't speak english can't find my appt building, restaurant manager knows nothing because it's a 3rd party, I have to wait 5 days for my refund!
Such unprofessional service all around. I will never order from this app again and I'll be sure to tell others not to as well..

The driver was delivering to a university. Instead of consulting a campus map to find the office they asked a couple students where it was, and since it is not a student classroom building they did not know. When I didn't respond fast enough to the driver's text, they left and the company would not give me a refund for the driver's error.

I've tried this survive 2x and both times my order was never delivered as they canceled it after an hour or more of waiting and chatting with customer service. Then telling me that can't refund me but offer a 50% off next time. Pass! Terrible customer service and $#*!ty delivery.

Had an account with them to deliver for my restaurant. Drivers or rude, non professional looking and most can hardly speak English. I spoke with account advisor several times with no solution to the problems. Door Dash is a lot better, friendlier and drivers look professional. Also cheaoper to do business with and cheaper for customers.

I received an e-mail 5 hours before scheduled delivery time my order had been canceled, due to no driver available. 2nd time I have tried Grubhub, even after 1st order was missing more than one item. Now I understand all the consistent bad reviews, stay away!

If you don't mind eating cold, soggy $#*! food, I'm sure this service would be great... I ordered 1 sub and my eta time just kept on rising. Smmfh ‍ Finally I called and canceled my order and now I'm getting ready to cancel my subscription. Man these people that work here are incompetent as fk.

I will not use grub hub again. I put in an order to be delivered, but some how it was switched to pick up, and I am unable to drive. They claimed for some odd reason that they couldn't switch it back, and I can't get a refund for 5 days; No food & No money

Everytime we use grubhub they over charge you for your food and they can't keep there times they keep moving them farther out
We shouldn't have to wait 3 to 4 hours for food and then there crappy support people are just useless and stupid i personally think a drunk baboon can do there job better
