“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I ordered food from McDonald's an only received part of it an my fish was over cooked. Grubhub gave me a refund and a $10 coupon that was only good for a few hours. I have this service service free for a year via Amazon but it's not free what would normally cost me about $15 cost me $27 + change. All the food has an up charge. I chatted with customer service for an extension on the coupon and they said NO! My order was received around 8pm and I went round and round with McDonald's for about 45 minutes. Restaurants start closing around here at about 9-10 pm. I used Grubhub because I have the flu and possibly Covid and wanted a filet o fish to eat. Lol

I recently ordered food through Eat24's platform and after having food delivered, I realized I forgot to add a tip for the driver. I tried adding it through the app, but unfortunately they don't allow you to once the order is completed (NOTE: other platforms such as UberEats). I really wanted to add a tip so I contacted support and asked if it was possible to add a tip since the app didn't allow me but instead they refunded me for the entire order for the wrong reason "Customer didn't receive order". I found this very deceptive and unethical because that was NOT my issue and the poor delivery guy might've not received money for his delivery, which was almost a 20 min drive. I'm shocked that their customer support team is negligent and can't even handle a simple issue like this with care. They should really consider beefing up their support team because they lost a customer.

Placed first order at 4:21pm. After 2 hours of no driver showing up (the restaurant confirmed the order was picked up at 4:52) we cancelled and got a refund. Placed a second order and no food showed up again! Waited 2 hours for this one too. Called the restaurant and the food was picked up an hour ago. Should be a 15 minute drive, even with the snow. 2 different drivers literally stole our food tonight! Unbelievable. Do not order from here!

If "ZERO" could be given, I would have chosen it! It's not that difficult to deliver food orders, a Moron could have accomplished this simple task.

Instead, I placed an order at 8:30pm, told it would arrive in 45-60 minutes, two and a half hours later my order arrived, COLD, wrong drinks and the order itself was completely incorrect. I was given someone else order!

Starving to death would have been much better! AVOID them like the Plague!

Tip for consumers:
AVOID GrubHub like the Plague!!!

My order was cancelled by Grubhub's driver, without my notification or consent, an HOUR after I'd placed it because the driver had an altercation with the restaurant's staff. No explanation was given to me regarding the cancellation until I wrote in to chat with a Grubhub customer service staff member. Both the original staff member I chatted with and the member's supervisor offered no apology or concern for the situation even after I revealed that my hungry child had burst into tears when I told her our foid would not be arriving. Grubhub even suggested that I take matters into my own hands by contacting my bank to inquire about a refund. I was astounded by how inadequate my experience with Grubhub turned out to be. I advise future consumers to avoid Grubhub altogether.

I ordered food. 2 hrs later, I called to see what the delay was. They called me back 10 min after that to tell me that the food was not coming. They tried offering me a $15 credit to make up for it. But I don't see how that helps my grumbling stomach.

I ordered my food at 350 pm and grub joke hub said food by 505 -515 pm no food called the restaurant and they never got the order called customer service at grub hub got a rude nasty $#*! and said it wasn't there fault there was a glitch In the system I said I'm done with them and wanted to get compensation or a refund she offered 10.00 coupon for my next order we'll take the 10.00 coupon and shove it your $#*!! What a piece of sh*t company! NEVER AGAIN!

My food order took nearly 2 hours to be delivered. After an hour I called the restaurant, and they said my order had been ready for a while, and were just waiting on the delivery person.

I called grubhub to see if I should just pick it up myself, and she contacted the driver who said he was 10 minutes away. After waiting for 30 minutes I called grubhub who said it would only be 5 more minutes. 10 minutes later the driver showed up with the wrong order. When I did finally get my order, it had been sitting out for an hour, and was inedible.

I then spent 20 minutes on hold with grubhub customer service, and then another 10 minutes on hold before being told they would not refund my order. Very dissapointed with grubhub!

This company is not reliable. The first time I ordered they were 1/2 hour later late. The second time I placed an order they told me it was being prepared, delivered, and they even said it arrived. When I called the restaurant they said they never even got the order. Don't waste your time.

I would give them negative stars if allowed. Second time to have to cancel by calling the toll free number within the app Help because even if it's been hours, it will not allow you to cancel. This is the worst company! The customer service reps are robots due to what I'm sure is thousands of calls per day to regurgitate the same old response.
DOORDASH is the way to go! GRUBHUB SUCKS!

Orders aren't filled in order of being received. Drivers can chose which orders they want to fill and which ones they don't. We ordered Taco Bell that is 5 minutes from our house and after 2 hours and 2 times calling the company with no success, we canceled our order. They said we won't get our money back for 3-5 days. That's crooked as heck! Terrible company! Terrible Service!

Their chat bot is terrible took a while to try to figure out how to get a live agent. The food is always cold and your order is always wrong. Go through DoorDash at least they check the order for accuracy the food is hot. To fix my cold food and order issue they offered 20% off my next order. Thats like $2 to shut me up that is sad customer service. I bet they wont burn me again.

I have repeatedly had my ordered delivered to the wrong location. Once the driver delivered to my neighbor's house then when he learned it was the wrong house he came back to my neighbor's house and retrieved my food then tried to deliver to me after being at my neighbor's home for over 30 minutes. Another time I was at a hotel and ordered from Grubhub and the driver left my food in the lobby and never called to say it was delivered. Then lastly this particular time when I received the text that my order was delivered I checked my porch and nothing so I text the driver it's not there. The driver then proceed to tell me it's in my mailbox when I don't have a mailbox but rather a mail slot in the garage. I tell him again you delivered to the wrong home and he tells me to quit playing with him he was driving. Well there goes your tip because this order will be getting cancelled.

I just ordered spaghetti and meatballs from this rancid place. The spaghetti was in gluey clumps. The meatballs were undercooked. There was something crunchy in it and the sauce was a watered down mess. It was the worst thing I have ever tasted. I put it in the trash and I called the restaurant. The person who answered the phone said "Well I don't know what to tell you. I'll just give you your money back!" I said, "I'm not asking you to know what to tell me." She then cursed at me and I hung up the phone. I wasted $20+ and I hate that I gave a tip. There needs to be another way to handle tipping for delivery ordering because of disgusting places like this.

I've ordered from grubhub a few times when the restaurant was closed. Me and my family waited for food countless times only to find out the restaurant was closed. This last time I had the kids while my wife was working at the hospital ordered food that the driver called and told me he couldn't bring it upstairs to the 3rd floor. Never has anyone told me that not even with Uber eats. But I told him no worries I'll calm and get a refund and hung up because at the same time I'm watching a 2&4 year old and putting down a 6 month old baby. He calls back twice waking the baby up trying to bring the food up by then I'm exhausted anyone with kids understand. I just told him to finish his deliveries I'm putting the kids to bed cause they were tired. I've never sent my kids to bed hungry but with the circumstances of this virus sacrifices have to be made. I'm going to treat them to a great big breakfast in the morning to make up for this horrible night.

Do not order from Grubhub. Their driver just ripped us off. I called to complain and they don't seem to care. The driver admitted to me that he didn't order everything we paid for kept the rest. His Grubhub number is *******344. He even threw away the receipt thinking we couldn't prove what we paid for.

Twice in one week! I was hopeful I would get good service. The driver took 45 minutes to drive 1 mile and called to ask me to meet them. Hmm - I paid for a delivery fee and tip! When I told them where to park they took an extra 15 minutes. So GrubHub gave me a $5.00 coupon. Tried again today. Driver actually came to my office but after a 45 minute drive the food was cold and she brought the wrong food. I let GrubHub know - they blamed the restaurant - and then said they would issue a refund for the missing food. They do issue a refund - less the $5.00 coupon I used for previous bad service. They can't seem to get their act together. BUH-BYE Grubby GrubHub!

Ordered on Saturday night. Wound up sending someone to pick up the food as the delivery time estimated by GrubHub kept getting later and later, even though when I called the restaurant they said the food was ready on time as promised. The worst.

Ordered some Sushi from one of the local places and when my order finally arrived over an hour late, I open the container and it looked like the driver just threw my order all around his car! My wife and I ordered 6 rolls in all and we couldn't even tell what was what! Costume service was even a bigger joke! Here's a coupon for 20% off your next order! Sorry asshats, they will be no next order!

Worst experience ever, they messed up my whole order and when I refused the order. They will not refund my order. So paid $120 for no food and now I have to try and get my CC to reverse the charge. Use another service, not this one. Their customer service will not refund either.

Liberals and media spout lies and your CEO is a prime example of the liberals idea of tolerance. Agree with us or get out. Liberals have been believing their own propaganda and lies. Riots, assaults, crime, all signs of liberals idea of tolerance. CEO needs to be fired. A disgrace to America.

Was craving some food as I was studying and went on this grubhub I heard about. Typed in my address and then I typed in a restaurant near me that I wanted food from. No results. I typed in another. No results. After trying every restaurant near me and getting no results ever single time I realized that "grubhub" is just a horrible service. I live in a fairly big city where you'd think a service like this would be. But nope. Unfortunately I can't give Grubhub zero stars but I guess I will give it one star for the clever name. I recommend this service to nobody. It is a joke of a service and an embarrassment of a company. My friend is starting up a new company that will make GrubHub look like a childs app. GrubHub will be no more soon.

Many times (I don't know why I go back) my order is delayed because grubhub says they don't have a driver available. I have spoken to the driver that picks up the order and I have been told each time they were available and didn't get it til almost an hour later than I ordered it! This is completely unacceptable and horrible business! I doubt I will ever use them again since this keeps happening! I am trying to support local businesses during this time of need, and this company just doesn't care. I was offered only 10% off my next order and this is after I complained even more. DON'T USE GRUBHUB! THEY SUCK!

The food went to the wrong hotel. I never got my food. Instead of giving me a refund, they gave me a "credit" for $27.11 that I have 2 weeks to use. In other words, I am going to eat the cost of that meal. Thanks?

After I received notice that my order wouldn't be delivered in time, I immediately cancelled the order... happened no later than 5 mins. My CC was charged for the order and after 8 business days, there was still no refund or a pending refund on my CC. When I called their customer service, they advised me that they never charged my CC. I'm in the process of working with my CC company to get this sorted out since GrubHub clearly has no clue.
