Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
This delivery service is horrible. I have been waiting over an hour for my food delivery. Estimated time 30 min. IHOP called and said out food had been sitting there over 30 min. And was the driver coming? This is the 2nd time they have dropped the ball. I will not use this Grub Hub anymore. My bill was over 130.00 with a 25.00 tip and nothing. People you should use another company other than this one.
GrubHub has ruined all my favorite delivery services! Searching on their website it lame, why is it the the food on grubhub is more expensive than when the restaurant offers delivery on other sites?, and now my orders never seem to make it to the restaurant... please stop GrubHub!
I ordered from Grubhub for the first time a week ago and everything was fine. I ordered last night from them and the driver dropped it off at the wrong house, had he called me I could have told him that was not my house. When I told him it was the wrong house by text he questioned me like I was lying and I asked to have a replacement meal. I ordered it because I was hungry but obviously that didn't matter because I didn't get a replacement! The driver offered to go back to that house and get it, seriously during this time of Covid! They just lost a customer!
I have been very sick this week so my husband used them an hour ago to get us food from Hooters so we wouldnt have to leave the house. It took over an hour to get our food. The food was cold, we were missing several items, and when we called grub hub back they told us that they would not go pick it back but refund the money. I called the restaurant and told the lady what I was missing. The lady informed me that she did in fact put those missing items in my bag. Not sure who is to blame but I will NEVER use this horrible company again
If I could leave zero stars I would! Not only did I have to wait 2 hours for my order, I had to go pick it up myself! Nobody went and picked up my order so it sat ruining the food for an hour and a half! This company is a joke and all they did was give me a 20% off coupon! I had to purchase my food a second time when I went and picked up my order! They never once updated my order the entire time I waited. I called the restaurant and asked what the issue was, well my driver never showed up!
Worst food delivery service. There's crap communication with the drivers, they don't notify when your food is delivered, the food is always cold, they deliver to the wrong place and don't rectify it-

I ordered from Grubhub tonight. I was not happy with one of the things I ordered from restaurant not all of it... grubhub texted me and asked me questions which I answered. I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Then they said would you like to write a review and I wrote no because I did not like my food and they posted it online! I specifically said NO I do not want to post a review, thats not me. I am so angry they gave this poor restaurant a bad name now because I personally did not like what I had... ridiculous. PS I will definitely order from the Pizza place again DIRECTLY
I had to wait for hours for my order to come. And the drivers act like they are lost when you follow them on the map thing. There customer service/ chat thing they are super rude they say that they will work on the better services on the driver witch they won't. They are expensive.

Ordered on yelp, charged my card, got confirmation email. No delivery by time estimate, called eat24, placed on hold when rep said they will check it out. Was on hold for another 15 mins, received cancelation email on my order. Still on hold rep never came back on the line.
The driver somehow missed half of my order when picking up then wouldn't go pick up the rest and deliver it. Missed my lunch period and wasted a bunch of time trying to get it straightened out. The only thing they offered was a half refund. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Don't use them is my best advise. The restaurant left out a dinner. I called the driver Timmothy and he said he was going back to get my dinner. He never picked it up or called me back. 3 hours later my son picked it up. I want my account credited for the dinner, but I get no answer or apology in the corresponding that I did with grub hub
Written assumption in CEO manifesto is that every Clinton voter is not racist and every Trump voter is racist. Clinton = moral. Trump=evil. How can he make such blanket statements. Horrible service. I received the wrong order which initially is not Grubhubs fault. I called the driver who delivered it and she was nothing but rude. She basically told me to call Grubhub and that its out of her hands. I call Grubhub only to get a refund which is expected. He told me that he couldnt send a reorder and that I would have to do it myself and wouldnt get any discount at all for the extra wait time and inconvenience. Not good customer service. I will never order through Grubhub again.
This company is ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if they accurately advertised the wait time. I was told delivery would be 40-50 minutes and ended up waiting for nearly 2 hours. When I called the customer service they called the restaurant to see the status. I don't buy it. Bad company, bad service. Do not use.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This service can not even be called a service. They cancel orders, do not contact the buyers, and never deliver food. The driver never calls nor does the company. I am as hung up on twice by the supervisors before erlver getting a clear answer as to what had happened. I am beyond appalled by the service and business of this company. In my opinion... they deserve negative stars!
I used it for a good couple of months at 1st it was fine even though it did not have the majority of restaurants I enjoyed eating at. It seemed each delivery person to come out got worse and worse, From missing items to not showing up at all, all the way to getting frustrated about not able to find my house and yelling at me and anuther wanted me to meet 10 minutes down the road threatening to cancel the delivery if I dont. Call in for support and they pretend like they dont hear your questions. Over all, wouldent recommend
EAT24 often gets your order WRONG. You wait for a delivery for 2 only to get food for 1. Then you contact them via their APP and guess what... NO ONE answers. You keep typing and still NOTHING, perhaps their unicorns are busy in outer space.
The other problem they have is TIMELY delivery. So if you want cold food, bad service, late delivery with NO communication... this is the APP for you. And no cute little messages about unicorns, spaceships and rainbows will ever make up for that.
Ordered on yelp, usually the app updates on status but did not do this. Then I got, not one but Two text messages saying my food was on its way to my home. 35 mins go by and still nothing. Mind you I placed my order over an hour ago now and it exceeded the delievery eta. I not only waited longer than I expected but was mislead additionally thinking my food was coming and then had to call and cancel and was informed I didn't have a driver assigned yet. I canceled and had to go get my food myself. Not pleased at all!
This service is probally the worst there is. I ordered food 4 miles from my house and took an hour and a half. The driver had it in his car for almost an hour. When I called to find out what was going on I was constantly put on hold. When I asked for a supervisor I was told I could leave my number and get a call back in 24 hours or wait on the line for 5-10 minutes to speak to one. When I did speak to one there was no apology and she did not follow through on her promise. I would suggest Uber eats.
My wife was Set to have surgery and we need to order food in for her the night before as I was out of town. We ordered food they did not deliver it we called to find out where food was they told us that it was for us to go pick up. What?!? We had given them a tip to deliver to the address that we had given them and they refused to deliver it and said we had to go pick it up when we called them and even talk to Stephanie and then their manager they refused and were completely rude. Unbelievable I hope this company goes out of business immediately they suck!
Ordered at 7:38pm after waiting nearly 4 hours. My food never came. Called customer service was told that someone else was bringing my food to me. Nevertheless I declined and asked for a refund. This was my first and last time ordering through grubhub... AWFUL WASTE OF TIME
I placed an order 2 days ago and I was delivered someone else's order. I called the driver and he said to tell Grubhub. I went to the app to file a complaint and... nothing. I tried that a few times. Then, I called and was told by Juan there was nothing they could do for me. I deleted the app and will not use again. Absolutely terrible service!
GrubHub has a commercial let's save the restaurants during the Corona virus, order through GrubHub. They don't mention my wife who got laid off from a restaurant due to the Corona virus and now we are losing are house and are car and are ten year old son is watching it all. So don't support GrubHub or restaurans until they make this right.
I placed ant order through Grubhub for Applebee's. 2 dinner orders of ribs with sides and 2 appetizers. When my driver is in the way I get a call from Applebee's saying the driver picked up the wrong order. Long story short driver show up with somebody else's order. Applebee's has called me and said they had called the driver but the driver would not come back for correct order. I spoke with both Grubhub and Applebee's. Grubhub said there was no other driver available to pick up my order which I find incredible. Refunded my money big deal. Grubhub is absolutely no customer service and I will never use them again. Also Applebee's is half responsible for not paying attention to their to go orders. Will never again use either one
The driver for my food marked my order complete 16 minutes before it arrived to me. It took 37 minutes for the driver to leave the restaurant and get to me and the restaurant is 1 mile away.
Customer service backed up the driver even though a simple check on the driver GPS, which even I could see, would have shown the driver lied. $67 order worth of seafood was almost all ruined and they issued me a $10 refund after I waited almost an hour to talk to the online chat and the representative rudely disconnected the chat instead of trying to resolve what happened. This whole company is a joke.
