“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

DO NOT USE GRUB HUB!
I would give it NO STARS if I could. Worst food delivery service EVER. The status of the delivery changed to delivered when nothing was delivered to me. Trying to get help from a representative was a nightmare. Grubhub has a live chat for assistance and I was "hung up" on by 6 different reps. I guess no one wanted to look into the issue or try to locate my $90 worth of food order. The delivery guy would not respond back to me via text or answer my calls. 50 minutes later, I finally got a live person on the phone who basically told me the driver is not near my location anymore and next time I should leave more clearer instructions on the order. "Meet me in the lobby" How much more clearer can I get? Ridiculous! I had a meeting full of hungry people and had to order from someplace else and pick it up. NEVER AGAIN, GRUBHUB!

Curbside delivery means curbside delivery and not ring the doorbell and have someone come out and greet the delivery driver. I checked the box and even left a comment to leave in front of the door.!. Never again!

Got shorted a kids meal on a $55 order. Called customer service to see about getting my meal. They said they could refund me the meal price but not get a driver to deliver food without another delivery charge. When I asked about the policy to a supervisor she basically told me I should have said I was missing at least $20 worth of food to have them resend order with no delivery charge. Worst policy and customer service ever. Will never use again.

Apparently, they have no concept of on-time delivery. The messages and the Crystal ball can be dumped into trash because, what is the point of getting those messages, when they are not honored.
Going through all this non-sensical delay even after paying for the food, delivery fee and the tip makes me wonder, about the quality of this crappy service.

I placed an order with grubhub on April 10,2020. I accidentally put down the wrong address and when the driver went to the wrong address the order was automatically cancelled. The app told me I was going to get a refund but 15 days later, still no refund. So I called and was told no refund request was made and he would take care of it. Another five days and no refund. Called once more. Still, was told no refund request was made. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Why so damn rude? You contacted me the other about an order, which I never placed and kept talking about you not having a crystall ball. I'll never use your service. I never have, but after you did this I never will I would give a minus 5 if I could

I was perfectly happy with grubhub until one time that the restaurant was out Of a particular item. They simply email you and tell you that that 1 meal is not coming apologize and give you your money back for that item. They don't care that there's someone that's not going to get their meal. I tried canceling it entirely but they Refused. They said it was too late because the driver was already on the way to pick up the order, which was a lie! I was forced to take the order with one meal missing. They really don't care that you have been inconvenienced just as long as they get their money. That was the last time I used the app. There are plenty of other delivery services so it wasn't any big loss.

I understand that the Coronavirus is happening. I know that I did the drop at the door distance thing. But a courtesy of knocking on the door to inform that the food is outside instead of leaving and the food outside in the night cold. Also, I understand that the arrival time was 810-830 pm. But it is 812. No knock

My bf and I both wanted ice cream tonight. I ordered from DoorDash from a local place because I'm lactose intolerant and they have dairy-free ice cream. My bf, on the other hand, order from Grub Hub, from Cold Stone. We both ordered at 7:30. Mine came around 8pm from DoorDash. But for his, he got a notification at 9pm saying his order got cancelled because they're closed and the driver. Never showed up? Definitely not using this again for food delivery.

Ordered from Bateeni in Greenville. After an hour I called the restaurant and they said that the driver hadn't shown up. I used the tracker to watch the driver pick up the food and drive the wrong way. I kept getting delay notices every 10 to 20 minutes. After 2 hours I cancelled. Cheesy. They sent me a 20% off coupon for next time. Won't use it.

First time using these guys so I ordered pizza and It was delivered to the wrong address! Called customer service and I was on hold for a while and after I explained that he delivered the food to the hotel next door she had me a conference call with the driver. The driver was rude and said he followed the instructions, and I told him he didn't and explained that he left it at the hotel next door and then he said he would go back and to wait 5-10 more minutes. Once he finally delivered the Food he didn't apologize for the mistake or anything. I saw an extra cheese pizza but overall the food was cold and there was no apology so at the end I wasn't happy at all.

After you submit you order, they give a range for a delivery time. Had they give the time before I submitted the order, I would not have used them. The delivery was for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. After 1 hour, they text saying it'll be another 25 - 35 minutes. I would never use this service again.

This is the third time I've used Grubhub. This is the second time my order never came. The other time the order was 35 minutes late. There are too many other food service delivery options to keep dealing with this.

They just cancel my order leaving me 1/2 hour later with nothing. The Grubhub Customer service agent I talked to said the restaurant never got my order. Their own order tracker disagrees as it said it was being worked on, how do you work on and order you never got? Even if they didn't ever get it wouldn't the intelligent thing to do be to simply resend it? That way maybe the customer won't completely swear off ever using Grubhub again?

Do you like food? Do you like the internets? Do you like not talking to "restaurant-folk" on the phone when you are hungover and watching a "Wings" marathon?

If you answered "yes" to at least two of the three questions above, do yourself a favor and check out grubhub.com the next time you want to get delivery. Grubhub has the menus of all of your favorite delivery places in town (the ones that subscribe at least) and allows you to select items off their online menus via simple check boxes/radio buttons, pay online using credit card, or defer payment to cash upon delivery. I have been using grubhub for months now and I absolutely love it.

Highest recommendation possible!

I wish they have a -5 star... This delivery service website is beyond ridiculous. EVERYTIME I order from them through their website there is always a minuscular problem... like they discount a dollar for everytime I click a plate even if I am trying out the website... Another thing my order arrived 2 hrs late one time. And then even though they credit me for my order now I can't pay the remainings with cash?

This afternoon I placed a delivery order in from the Grubhub app to a restaurant supported by Grubhub. After placing the order, a message pops up saying I have to pick up my order, it won't be delivered. Well, I couldn't pick up the order and the restaurant had already made the food, so I'm out $81.00 thanks to Grubhub. This is not the first issue I've had so, shame on me for using them yet again.

This company needs to be shut down permanently! Especially after all of these horrible reviews I'm just now reading. I ordered from Grubhub tonight and was told a 45 min wait. Okay, whatever. Then I got a notification on the app that my food was delivered but I never heard a word from the driver. I went to my front door to get my food and there was nothing there. My food was NEVER delivered but I was charged for it. It took me almost an hour to get a hold of someone who could contact the driver, who of coarse did not answer their phone. After all of that I'm told I have to wait 5-7 days for a refund?! What an absolute joke. The woman on the phone was Unapologetic the whole time and just acted like this is a normal occurrence and no big deal. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Grubhub has sent out an e-mail to their employees telling them that if they agree with the hateful policies of Donald Trump, they need to quit. They obviously hate anyone with a different political opinion. So if you voted for Donald Trump, and you took your vote seriously, do not do business with Grubhub. Grubhub disrespects the rights of the American voter and people. I will never do business with Grubhub or any business that uses their service. If they don't want employees with different political opinions; they don't want those customers either. They really need to look in the mirror and examine their own policies and ask if there is any hate or discrimination it it. How is threatening someone with the loss of their livelihood for political reasons any different than a country that jails people for dissenting political beliefs? They are a mini-totalitarian state.

I ordered from Pizza Stop through Grubhub. I requested delivery but was informed they didn't have enough drivers for the delivery so I picked up the order myself. I was still charged the delivery fee although I picked up the order. I was refused a refund for the delivery fee.

I always order from grubhub app and I've never had a problem, until now

Today I ordered the same thing I do every time and this time around I got no email confirmation, no order number, no text, nothing. Its been 2 hours since I have ordered the food. I got a message on the app asking how my food was but I never got any. I can't ask for a refund because I never recieved an order number so I'm basically out $15

Unreliable waste of time -- you will be hungry for hours waiting for your food to never arrive. The platform gives you notifications that your food has been picked up, that your food will arrive soon. But the food never comes and customer support does not say why. They will only tell you that the driver will not answer the phone. They dont have reliable drivers. I theorize that grubhub will take any driver they can get because they have so many orders. There is probably zero vetting process for drivers. Once a driver gets hungry they take the food and that is that. Grubhub, a multi billion dollar company is making so much money on the high volume of orders, that they dont care if 10-20 percent of drivers are unreliable or are scamming the company and customers of their food. What a trash delivery service. Please never use grubhub. If you own stock, sell it.

I guess grub hub doesn't know the year is 2019 and cell phones actually save numbers dialed in your call list smh. Items were missing from my order and I literally called customer service while I sat at my dining room table in disappointment and spoke with a customer service worker from there crappy company about my food missing. Was told I would receive a refund then I hear nothing. I get in touch with them and they tell me they don't have records of my call. Okay so who was I talking with myself. I literally have the outgoing call saying I called and I can't have the money I work hard for returned to me. If I wanted to just give my money away I'll donate it to charity not give it to your sh***y company. Glad better business bureau a thing

Every time I've ordered food from them I've had a problem. This time I ordered dinner because I hadn't eaten all day so I waited over two hours and by the time my food was supposed to arrive I found out grubhub cancelled my order for no reason. I had to reorder and the food still didn't come so I just gave up. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone or use them again.

I work for grubhub and assure you they are the absolute worst company anyone could ever be a customer or employee of. They provide zero support, zero communication, antiquated technology, insanely exorbitant customer fees and the lowest driver pay in the industry (I also deliver for DoorDash and Uber eats and earn TRIPLE with them what I earn with grubhub.) Grubhub charges their customers more than the other guys AND pays their drivers less- all while providing the hands-down worst driver and consumer experiences in the industry. They won't last much longer at this rate!
