“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

We order food at 6:25pm tonight and now at 8:25pm my husband is going to the store and just getting it ourselves. What a waste of a night. We both rushed home from work to carve out pumpkins because we've been so busy and haven't had time. Both rushing home from busy stressful days at work... grub hub was to save us that extra hassle of having to go out of our way to grab something and to just get home and now we haven't eaten, haven't carved our pumpkins. After all of that, we contacted customer support and it took the man helping us 25 minutes to call the store and the driver. We ended up just canceling! The rare time we used grub hub and this is why we DON'T. Never again.

Seriously. I called BWW and they said Door Dash has never been late to pick up the food. The guy at Buffollo Wild wing was honestly concerned for me. Grub hub has really bad articles I soon found out. No thanks. DOOR DASH all the way!

If I could rate 0 stars I would because I didn't even receive my food. There have been multiple orders where I have had to talk to drive through directions to my house, which I am Okay with and deal with. This time, the food was just never delivered. App said it was, I called and they couldn't even contact the driver. What do they do? Give me a refund on that order and a 20% off next order... really? Well its 7:30pm and I have no dinner... go with UberEats, pizza place, or other local restaurant.

Grub is charging delivery fee along with service fee and then expect you to tip I mean really just disgusting on top of the tax on the food too expensive I won't be using grub hub anymore I rather walk to the restaurant and get it my self

Twice now after ordering through grub hub, my wife and I have gotten our food literally HOURS late. The first time was over TWO HOURS late! We called the restaurant and they explained that they had the food made and ready on time and the grubhub driver simply didn't show up for hours on end. The food eventually came after we ordered a pizza! The food that came was of course soggy and freezing cold because it'd been sitting out on a counter waiting for the driver! This has happened to us twice since and every time we call the restaurant they tell us the same thing: the food is ready, the grub hub driver doesn't show up. DO NOT use this service! They're HORRIBLE!

I ordered food at 12pm and received a email saying it will be delivered between 1-115... it was 1:50 and got nothing so I called the restaurant and they said they received nothing and that they would contact grub hub and call me back to let me know. 10 minutes went by and I got no call so u called them back for them to tell me grubhub never faxed over the order and they have it now. I asked if it was possible to get reimbursed something for the delay and I was told it's the Internet and that sometimes these things happen. P.s. I received no apology. So I spent 30$ to wait 2 hours for some food. If i would of never called the first time no one would have called me. The restaurant is called College Pizza in boston. Never again for either college pizza or grubhub.

I will never use GrubHub again. I had a "heroin looking" $#*! delivery woman yell at me because she had been trying to call me for 30 minutes to say that she had arrived. My phone hadn't rung once, and her cricket phone looked like it had seen better days. The food was subpar and grubhub did nothing about it when I called to complain. I couldn't even rate the restaurant because the bastards removed the ability to write reviews. They won't get another dime of my money.

I ordered food from china max. Didnt get 1 meal out of 4 that i ordered. So i called back and they would not redeliver my food after waiting an hour. All they could do was give me a refund. This is bad buisness and would defintely tell people to not use their service at all. Just plain Rude...

First time ordering from this service while at work. The food did not arrive and I gave the Joshua my phone number and card info. So I waited outside in the cold after I tracked his delivery arrival. He never showed up and I waited 10 min. Before and 40 min after his supposedly arrival time. So basically they took the money out of my account without services rendered. So I called Grubhub to put the money back on my card and was told I had to wait 4 to 5 business days. This company is a straight ripoff crooks and Joshua(the delivery guy) need to be reprimanded! Claudio the manager as well need to be reprimanded as well!

I ordered some food from Taco Bell. When it asked for my address and phone number the info was automatically entered and it looked correct, but it wasn't. Totally my fault because I didn't check it. I got an email saying they tried to deliver it but couldn't because the info was wrong. I called the 800 number and had trouble understanding the agent with the strong Spanish accent. She said that since they tried to deliver the food, that they couldn't make a second attempt or refund my money but would give me 50% off my next order. That was unacceptable. I will never use grubhub again and I will tell everyone I know not use them.

My fiancé and I ordered subway from grubhub waited two! Hours! Says its been delivered! Then it gets canceled! We called and they said oh we don't deliver to your area and you gota wait 3-5 days for your money back oh here 5$ for the inconvenience... I'm not ordering from you anymore doordash and uber eats is better thanks for nothing.

If there was a star lower than one that's what I would have rated it. Waited two hours for my food as the time got farther and farther out. Called the restuarant food was ready but had not been picked up. Started a chat with customer service where they checked on the food and said it will be there at 9:22, keep in mind I placed my order at 7. The representative said would you like to wait for it I will give you 20% your next order or would you like to cancel it. I said cancel it! At this point my food will be cold and my husband has to go to bed so I will be paying for food he can not eat. To which he said yeah I get you I'll cancel the order. There was never an offer to comp the order or give us the 20% off even though we canceled for our trouble, nothing. We went to bed angry and without dinner. I will never use the app again and will make sure I warn everyone I can find not to either.

My food was an hour+ late the kid showed up stoned out of his mind. I'm pretty sure he picked up my food then when and got baked hence being so late. The queso had been dumped all over my chips and due to being so late the chips were all soggy. The food was cold and the driver didn't even apologize just stared at me like he was expecting a cash tip which i paid with card so unfortunately I tipped him anyways which I wouldn't have. And all I got for almost a 30$ meal was a 5$ off coupon for food I didn't get to enjoy at all. In fact I ended up having to go get something to eat from the gas station. Not only will I not suggest GrubHub I will not be using it again this was the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery.

I've tried ordering with this app twice. They supposedly contract out with a third party delivery company in my area, Zula. The first time we ordered we waited over an hour before we were told the order was never picked up and the restaurant closed. They have is $10 off our next order which is the only reason we tried this app again. This time after waiting 1.5 hours for a SUSHI order we contacted app for status. They blame Zula and say order lost. We waited another 25 minutes but they refused to offer any refund other than driver tip. Driver blamed Eat24 and Eat24 blames driver. Do not waste your time! Go with UberEATS or Waitr instead.

By far the WORSE decision ever. My food came 3 HOURS after I ordered it and 2 HOURS after the expected delivery time. Customer service was of no help and kept telling me there was an issue with my order that caused it to not be placed. Not only was the order late, but it was WRONG. My brother can't eat bacon because of dietary reasons and he ordered sliders and I noted for there to be no bacon and we received a plate with so much bacon, that it was literally spilling out the burgers. There goes 12 dollars down the drain. Never Again.

Grubhub is known to exploite drivers. Its shockingly. Unbelivable. You work 3 hour delivery and drivers makes 10 dollars. Please perspective drivers stay away from this exploitive company. Before you ruin your car and wasting your time

I'm done with GrubHub until a new CEO is found and apologizes for his comments concerning supporters of Donald Trump. I believe corporations should be as apolitical as possible -- which is one reason I voted the way I did. And so I won't tolerate (or support) being shamed by someone who doesn't know a single thing about me.

I'll have nothing to do with GrubHub until they have a new CEO.

Absolutely hate this site. I ordered my food and it took 2 hours to get here. Called the driver 2-3 times and messaged her with NO RESPONSE! Called the restaurant and they said its been ready for a while and that they called the driver and several times with no answer as well. I contacted Grubhub and they didn't care. They offered to cancel and refund me but then I wouldn't get my food and once I said I wanted my food they disconnected. I had to talk to 2 different people. Told them I would not be ordering from them again and they didn't care. They said, "Okay. Thank you for chatting with me." and thats it.

I ordered from GrubHub and never received my food. I got messages saying it was on the way and finally one that said it was delivered and on my doorstep. Wrong. I waited an hour and had I'd known this was going to happen, I would have called Ubereats. Stay away from this place. I called the restaurant and they said they don't do business with them. Hopefully I don't have to fight to get my 30.00 refund. Kansas City.

My wife tried to order me lunch and grubhub failed. This the 3rd time grubhub has failed to deliver on-time, if at all. This time the order was placed just to wait thru my entire lunch to find out they don't offer food from the restaurant that was listed on their website. I would not recommend grubhub to anyone, EVER. PATHETIC

$74 order I never received. I was hung up on when I called the driver and will never order from there again. Marilu was driver name and who picked up my food but a man answered her phone. They are scammers!

I have screenshots of my conversation with one of their bots and they literally said there is NOTHING they can do about the order that grubhub canceled TWICE within 30min of each other because Grubhub listed the WRONG menu items that weren't even available. So they were completely wrong yet nothing was done about it. Use uber eats or literally ANY other food delivery site!

Ordered food using Grubhub for the first time. Service was suppose to deliver food with utensils and napkin to the hotel. Food arrived but no utensils or napkin. Seems they expect you to eat it with your fingers. Anyway, called them and all they can say is call the restaurant and passed 100% of blame to the restaurant. Restaurant is pointing back at Grubhub. Well I have used this Resturant in the past and they are great. Bottomline good by GrubHub.

I agree with other reviewers. I will never ever order from Eat24 again. Email said that my order was confirmed and was deducted from my account, waited 2 hrs for food, so i finally decide to call and was told they never entered my order from Eat24. Eat24 said I wouldn't be charged but of course I was. Also Eat24 only pays the driver $2 per delivery so the driver expects a tip... so a $17 food order plus $16 of fees and tip costs $33... ridiculous.
