“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I agree with other reviewers. I will never ever order from Eat24 again. Email said that my order was confirmed and was deducted from my account, waited 2 hrs for food, so i finally decide to call and was told they never entered my order from Eat24. Eat24 said I wouldn't be charged but of course I was. Also Eat24 only pays the driver $2 per delivery so the driver expects a tip... so a $17 food order plus $16 of fees and tip costs $33... ridiculous.

There have been several times that I have tried to order lunch from this site but never get it. Either my order is canceled or I have to cancel it due to the time it would take for delivery after the time is changed several time. The hours listed for the restaurants are incorrect and not updated. This site is a waste of time your better calling your order in and picking it up yourself.

WORST BUSINESS EVER! I placed an order at 7:30pm. Waited and waited till almost 9:30. I contacted them only for them to tell me that the order had been placed on hold and that they tried contacting me. Flat out lie. They said the number they had kept going to voicemail. We had just used the phone it was working fine and the correct number is on the account. They also tried saying that they emailed me as well, another lie. I got no email, I got the confirmation email, that's it. So now it's 9:45 and I have a family that hasn't eaten and they're all pissed and cranky. I will NEVER use this site and certainly will never recommend. The only reason I gave one star is because it's the lowest you can give!

I will never use Grubhub again. The drivers they hire eat your food and fake deliveries. They do not pay attention to instructions and have no idea how to enter a gated community. DOOR DASH IS 100% BETTER.

I ordered chicken Alfredo. 97 minutes later and multiple phone calls, and I still don't have the chicken for my Alfredo. Apparently, I paid fifteen dollars for some noodles and no one cares that I paid fifteen dollars for noodles. I've used Uber eats at least 15 times and have NEVER had this issue.

If I could, I'd give a 0. They screw up the order every time. 3 of the times they cancelled my order after making me wait 2 hours and the 3rd time the driver that was assigned to my order REFUSED to deliver my order! Customer service did nothing but give me a "sorry"

I got charged for signing up Grubhub+ membership, which is supposed to be free for the first two weeks. When I called the customer service, they told me two weeks is included within the membership so that I won't cancel after the trial period. I say its fraud by misdirecting the customer.

I've had multiple issues with Grubhub not getting me the right food, not credit me the right meals or refunding my money, and rude customer service reps when you call to complain. The last was a order from KFC where they missed getting me my coleslaw and then I called them back and I had to order coleslaw again because they couldn't deliver it so I ordered twice as much and then after two hours they canceled the order on me. Ridiculous organization and horrible customer service

The delivery driver texted he couldn't find us even though he had the correct address. Then he told the restaurant he had made the delivery. No food was left here. When I contacted the company re this issue it took forever to receive a response and then they were hesitant to offer a refund. We will have to see if we actually receive that refund.

A CEO that sends an email to his employees saying that their "TOLERANCE" policy is that any Trump supporter must resign? That, sir, is discrimination. I hope your employees sue you back into the stone age! You can kiss your little, insignificant business good-bye!

I placed an order with Grubhub to go to potbellies on northwest highway in Park Ridge. There were four items total in the order. Of four items I only received three. I proceeded to call GrubHub. And yes, they can assure me a refund, but not a replacement; so here I sit without lunch (and I had already tipped the driver!) So I called potbellies on Northwest Highway in Park Ridge and there's nothing they can do and their answer to me was, We were crowded and people make mistakes." Well then fire those that don't do their jobs and find someone else that knows how to bag four out of four items (especially when I tip your driver!) I'm sorry, but there's too many excuses for people these days and it's not OK because I ended up without a lunch and still a tip to the driver. My personal tip to you is don't use GrubHub and don't order from potbellies in Parkridge Illinois!

Ordered food at 6:30 said the order would arrive by 8:45 thought to myself wow that's a long time to wait but I waited it out. 9:00 rolls around and still no food had my husband call customer service they then told him that the food would arrive at 9:20.9:20 passes still no food then we recived a voicemail saying that there was a problem with the order and they will email us a coupon REALLY! I will never order from Grub Hub again don't waste your time! This isn't the first time they screwed up either last time we ordered from them they took way too long and my husband ended up going to the restrurant himself and picking up our order. We thought we would give them another chance but they failed again.

I had ordered some food, waited for over an hour and was notified that it had been delivered. It had not been delivered, driver wouldn't answer messages or calls. I contacted customer service and was denied my money back. Had to call back twice before being told it would be 3-5 days before refund. GRUBHUB IS TRASH

I have had at least 7 incorrect orders, 5 deliveries of cold food, and 9 deliveries that were 45 minutes or more past the projected delivery time. The drivers are lazy thugs. They all wear bedroom slippers and act like they are doing you a favor. Twice they walked away before I had hold of the bag while they turned to walk away talking on their phone. Food hit the pavement. Get your $#*! off the couch (if you can) and DO NOT PAY THESE FOOLS. Hell, I live in the ATL and one of these MOFO's is up for murder right now for shooting an unarmed Customer. Check the news in ATL 12/2018. 4 real.

Placed an order for two, from Cold Stone. When the order arrived, surprise, surprise, I received the wrong order. I called Cold Stone and mentioned I received the wrong order. The Manager was very gracious and gave me the number to Grub Hub to receive a refund. It was very difficult to get thru to Grub Huba on the phone. I waited, to long, on the phone for someone to pick up and when someone finally did, of course they were from the outer reaches of a foreign country. Horrible communication. I explained what happened and they explained they will issue a refund and it should get the refund in approx. 5 to 10 business days. Haven't seen a refund yet and it's been about 3 weeks, going on 4 weeks. Grub Hub get a clue - your Customer Service is horrendous and your service is way to expensive. Plus, once an order is placed and there are request, such as no pickles or mayo, that request must be another department, because any request I have made have always been ignored. Bye, Bye Grub Hub!

Ordered from Carrabba's. The driver must have been a smoker because my bag of food reeked of the odor of cigarette smoke. I responded to Grubhub's app and gave them a review, never heard a word from them.

I have used this service several times with no big issues. Today this service was bad. I ordered food at 658pm. I received a phone call at 8pm from this company saying we checked the location didn't get your order did you still want it. I asked how long it would be her reply I don't know. She didn't have any answers which i could understand. However, she did not even offer to find out more importantly the monotone snd disinterested tone of her voice clearly conveyed she didn't care. The only answer she could give me was my card was charged and it may or may not take 5 days to refund me. Which brings me back to why was my card charged for food that was never received to order and why so long for returns. I do credit card returns and a reverse back is quick. Needless to say it will be w long while if ever before i use this service again.

I no longer drive so it was nice to have something like grubhub. For the first 2mos all ok. Now? The last three orders from diff places stated 40-50m delivery time. Then when the 50m was up, i get a text stating the deliver is late and now will be another 15-20 min. Sometimes i get this text two times. This order was KFC and KFC called me within the first 5min with a quest, so i know its a grubhub prob. By the time the food arrives, its spilled, sloshed and lukewarm. I will no longer use grubhub-will take biz elsewhere

I ordered food through GrubHub site, about10 minutes later the restaurant called and said they had to cancel the order because there was no GrubHub drivers available. I was still charged $37. After talking with someone at the restaurant and three different people at GrubHub, including a supervisor, I still did not get my money refunded.

I called four days after this happened (cancellation) and was told my refund would be through in probably one more day as it takes a few days and to call back if it wasn't resolved. So I call back a couple days later because it's still showing on my account and was then told that too much time had passed and they couldn't refund me because that was their policy. They're only out to make money and do not care about their customers!

On 7-16-2020 at approximately 6:50 pm I ordered from Panda Express located at (******* Merle Haggard Dr. Bakersfield CA) the driver manipulated the system so that he or she could steal my food. I never received a text informing me that my order was being prepared. I never received a text informing me that the driver was on the way. I never received a text informing me that my food was delivered. The driver never revealed his contact information so I could not call and inquire about my order. It was a waste of time and money! I was not compensated for the time I wasted nor did Grubhub offer to re-deliver the food that their driver had stolen from me. So disappointed

First they are overpriced. Then THEIR mistake by not including your ENTIRE items on order. Then when arrives w/I your order they are not willing to rectify... will NEVER use GrubHub again & will make sure I spread the word. Mustafa is also the worse delivery driver as well... Delivered food late & didn't put where I instructed food to be delivered to

I ordered almost $60 worth of food. I got a notification that my food was delivered when it clearly was not. They told me he "attempted" to deliver it and couldn't... then they told me no one would be bringing my food. When I informed them that I had been at home by the door and no one even tried to knock, they told me that I would only be getting a 50% refund. So not only were they not bringing my food, but they were also charging me $30 for absolutely nothing.

The driver never came to the door, I received 2 calls from a Chicago # (I do not answer calls from people I do not know) then the driver simply left with my food. I called the Chicago number back and was informed that I will not be receiving neither my food or my money back. So no food and $20 later I am furious!

I ordered my food and was given a time frame of about 90 minutes. I received an email update saying my food was being prepared about 20 minutes later. Another 10-15 minuets after that I was called by grub hub saying my order was cancled and sorry for the inconvenience then the dude hung up. I didn't get a name or anything else before the phone hung up. There was no explanation or anything. My card was charged and I have yet to have the refund

Used Eat24 for the first time and last time. Ordered food from a sushi restaurant and Eat24 provided a range of food deliver of 10-35 minutes so I called the restaurant and found out the order did not go through. So I had to re-order and pay at the restaurant. I used the Eat24 support message service to note my issue and received a call. The individual (Andy?) said to see if the restaurant would charge again and that he would call back that evening, which never happened. So the next morning I had to send copies of credit card statements to get my refund. LOT of WORK. Wouldn't use the service again, to painful. Many other on-line ordering options that work flawlessly!
