“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I use DoorDash all the time and I love it. I got a gift certificate to GrubHub so I thought I'd try something new. It was grossly overpriced. Basically, the gift card was useless as it was so much money. From a $20 calzone I paid 40 with taxes and fees.

I hate Grubhub.
1. They have restaurants listed on their site, even if those restaurants don't use 3rd party delivery services. So you'll order your food, and then find out 45 minutes later that your order is canceled.
2. For restaurants that do take 3rd party orders, Grubhub will often cancel your order and give no reason. You can call the restaurant and they'll tell you that they never received the order, then confirm that it happens OFTEN with Grubhub.
I have ordered from Grubhub at least 10 times, and they have failed at least 5 of those times. They're downright terrible.

Here is the deal folks, from personal experience. YOU are not GrubHub's customer! The RESTAURANT is their customer and they will take the side of the restaurant every single time. It doesn't matter if you are a long standing loyal customer who spends a lot of money using their service. They don't care. I have been shafted by Grubhub several times ranging in cold food, the wrong food, late food, poor quality food and NO food being delivered but they took my money anyway and they will take yours too! I have worked in the Customer Service field all my life and they have made it painfully clear to me that they do not care. Steer clear of GrubHub!

Three times I ordered from GrubHub in the middle of the day to be delivered by 6 at night and every time that they've delivered they were over three hours late! Ridiculous I will never use GrubHub again I'll go back to doordash in a minute

Placed an order. Never got a tracking. Started a chat - chat disconnected after 8 minutes. Someone did call to say Oh So Sorry - have to cancel order. I called back because they hung up after that. Then I spent - no joke - 35 minutes on the phone because they said they would refund me 15% of the coupon code I had used to place the original order with and give me a $5 code to use. Guess what - applied the $5 code but now they said they were so sorry - couldn't refund the 15%. They can't apply the code. REFUND is not same as applying a promo code. Lost almost an hour and still no food. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

I got the confirmation for my order and 40 minutes later they told me they were canceling because they did not have up to date prices from the restaurant. They also say you get free delivery your first order, I tried for too long to figure it out and gave up because it wouldn't work. Don't waste your time.

My husband and I just moved to a new location and still living in boxes. We get hungry and so we try grubhub for the first time. When I put my order in I specified to have the driver have $12.00 in cash. I only had a $50 and didn't want to use my card. Food arrives and the driver starts he does not have the change and was never told to have the cash. He could only gather $5, therefore he got over a $14 tip. Called grubhub about the complaint, they called the restaurant which stated the driver said he gave us the correct change. Grubhub gave me the number to the restaurant. I called never got an answer, even left a voicemail and never got a call back. Called grubhub again who stated they would take care of it and never received a call back. I know $7 may not be a lot of money to some, but I'm a disabled vet and every dollar counts.

Never once have I had a problem with EAT24 till I ordered through their app which they had posted up that a restaurant was open. I ordered my food and the store was closed. They took the money out of my account and I've been calling since. Its been a month and today I finally got a hold of a customer care representative to actually fix my problem and reimburse me to find out the people I've called before didnt cancel the order and it's too late to get my refund so they screwed me. I'm never ordering from EAT24 again.

A few of us hospital employees ordered only to find out 3 hours later out order was canceled because the driver was scared to come in the lobby of the hospital. Was not contacted to meet the driver outside. Our lunch breaks are now over and everything is closed. Terrible!

I tried Grubhub tonight for the first time. Bad idea. I ordered a burger that looked great and the app said 45-60 min estimate. I was cool with that but then the app was never responsive. At the time I was expecting my food, I refreshed the "Tracker" and it now said another hour and a half. WHAT?! No one reach out to me and I called customer care twice. The first time, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and I just hung up and called back. The second time, I said I wanted to cancel and was told to look out for the confirmation e-mail. The app still says that food is on the way and has not reflected a cancellation at all... STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!

This is the worst company for food delivery. Most of the time they either don't have drivers to deliver the food or the restaurant doesn't get their order from Grubhub or the restaurant(their client) closes business and never tells Grubhub or other plethora of excuses they give me. Four consecutive times I have called and each time there is a problem. Geeeeze, why do I come back to give these guys a second chance... I should just stay ordring from Uber Eats. The latter has so much better and CONSISTENT service.

1st they called and said they would be 30 min late. Next I go on the app to check the status, it said it was delivered. So I called, only to find out my order was canceled. So unprofessional, I will never use them again!

Waited an hour for my order the drive was 3 streets away for 15 minutes then it said my food had been delivered! No way to contact the driver on delivery! Then had to go through support kicked me off the chat after 10 mins back to chat page then had to wait in a 11 person que then another 15 minutes talking said would redeliver refused to offer me any sort of refund in the order if I was to still have it either cancel our have it redelivered I then agree to have it redelivered an they then tell me it can't going to have to cancel order!

Used them once and there were items missing from my order. When I contacted the store they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to talk to grubhub. When I contacted grubhub they said "tough luck" and gave me a 20% off coupon that expires in less than a month. Terrible customer service.

I am furious and will NEVER use your service again. Ordered food and ask for contactless delivery. Sat a chair outside my fence. Driver came. Sat outside my house I assumed it was not grubhub because the person never got out of the car. Watched them drive away. Didnt get my food. Called customer care and was offered 50 percent off NEXT ORDER but never recieved my current order! Was told I would get a refund in A WEEK! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! Door dash would never do this!

My account was hacked. Three fraudulent orders were placed, the third of which was while I was on the phone with costumer service trying to cancel them. They not only told me they couldn't cancel them (even though the order had not been processed yet), but told me someone would call within 48 hours and I never received a call back. When I called them five days after the charges, I was told to take it up with my bank. I had email proof, bank statement proof, grub hub received payment, and the representative was able to see the charges, but because I had canceled my account before they could "complete their investigation" I was somehow not entitled to compensation. Of course I canceled my account! They allowed a third fraud charge to go through while I was on the phone with them! I will never order through them again, and will continue to tell this experience to anyone that will listen.

Do not, I repeat do not use their delivery service. They are awful. I use them today and because the driver couldn't find me my order was cancelled. When I called customer service They apologized and gave me a credit of more than what I spent, only to force me to pay out of my pocket more money because I had to order more food than I needed. Just a total nightmare.

Grubhub is the worst place to order from i ordered taco bell and the order was suppose to come between 10:50 and 11:00 pm and never came i called the company and they sent me a email saying the new time was 11:43 pm it didn't come then so i called them back and as i was talking to someone another person was calling my phone so i clicked over only to find out that they canceled my order what a joke i will never order thru them again.

I cant stand grub hub. I sat here for over a hour waiting for my tracking to say on it's way and instead I get sorry your orders been canceled. Didnt say why. But this is like the 10th time it's done it to me. Nothing bad about the drivers. But I'm just so confused why almost everytime I place a order they make me wait a whole hour till they cancel. I hate grub hub. I have more then enough money on my card. You just suck!

The menu button we clicked was under the heading "all entrees served with rice", yet when we picked up the order there was no rice. Then we checked the Grubhub receipt and there was nothing about rice. So the menu does not map correctly to the receipt. Sorry guys, this is not on.

They constantly promise refunds on messed-up orders. I have had so many messed up and have yet to see a single cent refunded. Stay away. Their standards for hiring delivery drivers are low.

I placed an order from a place half mile from my apt. Could not pick up myself cause I had an injury. Placed the order at 4:44, it was picked up at 5:18.5:41 and I still don't have my food. Tracking it and the car just keeps driving further and further away. The driver has called me 2x to say it will be arriving later than the scheduled time is showing on the website. This is a freaking joke of a business! I should've just had uber take me and had the driver run in and get it.

Horrible customer service... ubereats and postcode has much better customer service. I ordered food and the good was gross... I emailed support and they sent me a coupon code for 2$! WOW 2$... I don't recommend ordering food from here.

Ordered food tonight for a group I had over.
I ordered it and it was confirmed and was told my order was on its way. When It didn't show up I called the driver. What a complete moron! He said he delivered it when I told him not to my house and he must have delivered to the wrong house.
He got rude and obnoxious and hung up on me! He left my entire group without anything to eat! This is the kind of incompetent people they have working for them! Save yourself the time and stress and order from there competition!

If I could have zero stars I would have, worthless, grubhud absolutely terrible!

Let people know so hopefully it will save other people the stress and time!

They cancelled my order after an hour and the driver took my food. I called the Salt Grass in San Marcos TX and the lady said the driver tried to take the food without paying then he paid and took the food and cancelled my order.
