“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Terrible service. Doordash is way better then this company. When you have a complaint doordash gives you full frefind and you get to keep food. Unlike grubhub doordash is always on time and customer service is a lot better than this company. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. Order place at 9:03pm

I've been using Grubhub for years and am finally done with them. I ordered a taco meal which arrived with no shells. After talking with customer service I was offered a $1.00 refund for the shells regardless of the fact that the entire point of the meal was held together by the inclusion of the shells. So now I had a salad basically. Not an appealing salad either. I have literally spent upwards of 15k to 20k thru Grubhub as I have used the service between 5 to 10 times a week because of my work schedule for years now. This is not the first time I've had issues either. I was basically told to bad regarding my order and when I asked to speak to someone who could into this further with me I was flat out told no. The customer service has gotten progressively worse over the years which I find confusing since there is now an abundance of options for other services to use everywhere, which is exactly what I will be doing from now on. Their loss.

I will never use grub hub again. Ordered Nardelli's Grinders... Great Food Nardelli's
Grub Hub not good.
Unreliable drivers, don't ring door bell when food arrives, never responded to my text and food was an hour late. After driver picked up my food he went to New Milford/Brookfield and sat somewhere for 1/2 hour. Which is mins. Or more from my house. Food was cold and very disappointing and don't trust these drivers anymore. Waste of time and money and too bad b/c I gave good tips to unreliable drivers. Also delivery times updated 3 times: First was: 6:57-7:07,2nd was: 718-8:28 and 3rd was: 7:58-8:08. Tired of people taking advantage of others.

Tip for consumers:
don't use grub hub unless you don't mind waiting an hour for food while driver goes and sits for 20 mins or more b/f they delivery your food.

I ordered food and it was never delivered but GrubHub refused to refund me. I called min after the order was marked delivered. Grub said the driver attempted to deliver but couldn't. I told them I was watching my front door camera and no driver showed up. They replied that Grub Hub drivers are not required to deliver to the door and driver couldn't reach me by phone so it's considered "delivered". If the driver was actually in my neighborhood 5mins after he supposedly "attempted delivery" they could've contacted him to deliver it, but they wouldn't even make an effort to get this order delivered. Apparently they've been doing this to lots of people lately and it may be time for a class-action law-suit.

They charged me for a drink and never brought it and wouldnt refund me or make it right and i'm left paying 24$ for half a meal and its bull$#*!. They are scammers! Use postmates or ANY OTHER delivery service. Plus the delivery person smelled like they hadnt showered in a month and was sweaty and disgusting. I'm shocked their service is so bad. WOW

I placed a $40 order for myself and my children. I received a message stating the driver delivered my order, then I received a message saying the driver was having trouble finding my house and that I have 8 mins to contact them, mind you I wasn't given any contact information. I was contacted by grubhub and was informed the driver was outside. But there was no driver outside my home. This person stole my order and never delivered it. I'm stick at home with no vehicle which is why I ordered online. I will never use this service again. I have never had problems with dominoes, pizza hut or door dash. I would've ordered thru door dash if the place I was ordering from went thru door dash. But I guess I won't be ordering there anymore either as long as they're affiliated with grub hub.

Absolutely horrible service. I ordered from a restaurant that is less than 3 miles from my house and I placed the order at 5:25. At 6:40, the order was still not delivered. Was supposed to be delivered between 605 and 615 according to the text and email. When I hadn't received it by 640, I called to tell them that I might as well cancel if I'm not going to receive my food since it had been almost an hour and a half and I still had not received my food. The representative named Asia did not even offer an apology or a solution, she placed me on hold for over five minutes and then disconnected me and I received a text that my order was canceled. This was the first time I have ever used Grubhub and it will certainly be the last time too.

Ok so I've been paying for grub hub + for 3 month now and I finnally decided to try to use my free 10 meal and I go to do it dosent work try diffrent restaurant same thing so I ask for help. Turns out u have to spend 12 for pick up and it only cover 10$ of it so it's not free and they lie

I was done with Grubhub long ago bc they are a trash company that hires trash drivers and everything is always SO LATE, but i digress. My account was hacked bc i still had my paypal attached, and someone made a fraudulent order on my account for $85 worth of food. Let me note, i live in Philadelphia, PA and the order was made and delivered to Los Angeles, CA. I called/chatted 15+ times only to get the same bull$#*! answer of "we escalated your case, please wait to hear back from us in 24-48 hours" It has now been a week. I still dont have a refund. I spoke with a supervisor who was basically USELESS, telling me i need to wait for the legal dept to finish their investigation. What a $#*!ing joke. $#*! GRUBHUB

I've been in a mood for ice cream the past week or two. Ordered once from Friendly's and once from a local ice cream place, GrubHub delivererd for both. Both times the order was delayed by 30-40 minutes, and you can probably imagine the result. I got soup instead of ice cream with both orders. Absolutely disgusting. The second time was last night, and I was watching in horrified fascination as the driver meandered his way through the area, I don't know if there was traffic or if he just decided it was a pleasant night for driving through several of the local neighborhoods, but the result was the same: the ice cream was inedible. I won't be using GrubHub again.

All you need to do is compare grubhubs price of each menu item to the actual stores menu. Each item is marked up 4 to 5 dollars more than the restaurant menu. Grubhub says you're "saving 10 dollars for each pick up order" but you're really not. If you order 4 items you're paying 20 dollars more than the store would have charged you so there goes your 10 dollar "savings" and you just lost 10 dollars more... on top of the 10 dollar a month fee you pay for their services. Just compare the two menus. It's shocking.

I once made an order with grubub and the food was never even made. When I requested a refund, grubhub stated they could not without the restaurants approval. I will never be working with grubhub again, they do not support their customers.

No idea when food was arriving. No notifications. Nothing. Had to call restaurant to ask. Said food left and was on the way. Was not notified. Like be professional, all other websites give gps trackers. Never again will I use this website. DoorDash, Ubereats, bitesquad. Never again will I make this mistake

I have been ordering with grubhub for years all over the country for work and personal. Tonight I started ordering dinner at 615pm and at 710 the delivery driver brought me someone elses little order and I was feeding my whole sick family after working all day. Called them asap and by the time they got the restaurant said it was too late cause restaurant was closing in 20. Refunded my pay and gave me credit. So. I ordered from another restaurant and 70 minutes later they cancelled my order and not only did they only give me a $5 credit but by 940pm all restaurants were closed and I couldtn even order pizza. Will never use them again

Ordered at 11:14pm and was told delivery would be 11:45-11:55. Got my food at 11:35 and it is amazing! Food is hot, delivery is quick, nothing out of order here. Would suggest using this service to anyone!

I would give 0 rating. I placed an order through call and I was not told that giftcards cannot be used when we place an order through phone, they made me use my card and later transferred to another department so that they can change to use my card from my card. I was on call with them for 1 and halh hour and placed an order, later they cancelled the order and did not inform me or the restaurant that the order has been cancelled, we were waiting for the delivery guy to pick up he order and neither of them were informed about the cancellation of the order until we called the. Worst customer service I have ever come across.

My son was at my home and ordered food from grub hub. The restaurant delivered the food and the delivery guy told me I owed 25.00. I paid him, plus a $5.00 tip. My son told me that you pay for the food on grub hub when your order it. I called the restaurant, and although they returned the money, they did not return the tip. There seems to be alot of confusion between restaurants and grub hub

Waited for two hours for my order. I texted the driver to find her location and no response. Was told by the Grub Hub rep they couldn't refund my order because she tried to contact me. No one contacted me. An email was sent whil I was online twitch the rep saying they tried to contact me. The worse customer service ever. So I lost $50 worth of food.

I sat in the front of the window at my house on Sunday waiting for my order from quoba. The order was late. So I contacted Grubhub customer service and they said that the driver confirmed the delivery. I told them that I didn't see the car coming up on my driveway. The order was not delivered. The driver lied. I won't order from Grubhub anymore.

This is BY FAR THE WORST delivery service available. I made a mistake and ordered a pickup instead of delivery. I spent 25 dollars in the process. I expressed to them that i didnt have a car and need them to switch it to delivery. They told me they couldnt do that. Then i told them to give me a refund and they told me they couldnt do that either. They offered me 10 dollars off of my next order (as if i would order anything through them again) and proceeded to apologize. In the end i ended up losing 25 dollars and they ended up losing another customer.

Order was delayed over 1.5h because the system or the driver was adding orders to his route. So the driver just kept waiting and adding new orders. Worst part is Grubhub lied about what was happening so I called the restaurant directly. Grubhub blames the restaurant for the delay. Meanwhile the driver was just piling his deliveries. Feel the love Grubby Hub.

Literally the WORST customer service ever. My account was hacked, someone ordered $200 of pizza in New York and I am in Maryland. I contacted the restaurant and they were extremely helpful, they even called the person who placed the order and said they would not fulfill the order. Yet, when I contacted Grub Hub they said they could not cancel the order and someone would "be in contact about my account getting hacked." They did not say anything about refunding my money, I asked for them to refund immediately and she said she could not do that and someone would be in touch in 2 days. I do not have the money or time to wait 2 days to get $200 back - right before Christmas! When I asked if someone could help me now she said "may I suggest you change your password" OBVIOUSLY. Uber Eats would have had this resolved within minutes, and Grub Hub took several minutes to answer all of my messages. Someone is supposed to be calling me, but still unsure if that is going to happen.

If I could give zero stars I would. One star is above and beyond the services they provide. Theyre supposed to be helpful but when a problem arises and you try to talk to their representative, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. " sorry but theres nothing we can do about that now" is a response I got. Awful awful service. Might as well pay your little cousin to get your food for you.

The driver was late due to a change in drivers. Don't know why? The food was cold. The order wasn't exactly filled. The driver Jonathan was nice and the food showed up. So I wouldn't say the service is bad but I would say that it has lots of room for improvements. Thank you for trying

At 3:42pm, I ordered from a Panda Express 12.4 miles from my house, which should have been no more than a 30-minute delivery time, including traffic and lights. Originally the delivery time said no later than 4:42pm, which okay, maybe the driver is doing multiple deliveries. Then the delivery time switches to 5:56pm, which is BEYOND absurd. If a company doesn't have delivery drivers for a location, they shouldn't include a location on their website for ordering. To be fair, they were quick to cancel and refund my order when I contacted them at 5:00pm, but I wasted an unacceptable amount of time, something that could have been avoided. I have certainly learned my lesson and will not use this delivery service again in my area.

Tip for consumers:
Use an alternate food delivery service. This one is awful.
