“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

It's impossible to delete your account. There is no direct way to delete your account after they keep your personal and payment data and sells it for money. You have to submit your email and they send an email with a link to confirm the email and submit a request to delete your account. This also doesn't work. If by any chance company fulfills your request to delete Grubhub account then also they will keep your data. Leeches. Worst service. Hope people who run this s**T hole rot in hell

Grub hub is a terrible app. I had a bad experience and was not issued a refund after being told the issue was resolved. This was my first and absolutely last time using this app. The restaurant blamed grub hub and grub hub blamed the restaurant. Customer service did nothing to address my concerns. Pathetic service. Do not give this app your business. It was a shame this could not be resolved through a refund. I will be reporting you to the BBB.

This is the worst food delivery company EVER in Pinellas County Florida. They cancel orders, do not tell you, and take your money. The customer service is awful. I'm not sure what happened because they didn't used to be this way. DO NOT use this service (especially if you're hangry)

This website is garbage i order two times through them and got the same results then they lie to me saying that their delivery car is having problems after i just got off the phone with the restaurant and they said grub hub never even called in my order after 2 hours of waiting then they call me and said they canceled my order this stupid company is a joke and i recommend never ordering through them i recommend Zooted they are amazing and way better

Two times in a row Grubhub order was taking forever only to find out from the restaurant that Grubhub had not sent a driver... Had to cancel both orders. Our hot sandwiches were sitting at the restaurant for over 30 mins. I have deleted their app from every phone I can get my hands on now... And I wake up to this email giving me a $5 credit... Really? $5! $5 does not even come close to making up for my family starving and waiting over an hour to still get no dinner! We have children! GrubHub needs to close their doors. Even the restaurant said not to use GrubHub, They said Postmates is way more reliable. DO NO USE GRUBHUB IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO EAT!

I placed an order which NEVER got delivered and got sent to the WRONG apt. Then the 2nd order was the WRONG ORDER. When I called the representative told me that he could only do a refund….now it's been 2 hours with NO food. I'm hungry and I'm pissed. If i could give this 0 stars I would.

I use to like grubhub because of my work schedule and ordered numerous times a week. Then they started canceling orders without informing me so I would wait over an hour for my food for nothing. Then get told my money won't be refunded for 5 business days which is ridiculous! They tried to lie to me and tell me taco bell was closed at 10pm so I called them and they said my food had been sitting there for over an hour and they don't close until 2:30am. I would not recommend them to anyone. I will stick with doordash now.

Tip for consumers:
Use doordash if you want less issues and don't want to deal with liars!

Yesterday was my birthday. My daughter came over and ordered some dinner for us. The driver called and said that she couldn't walk up stairs so could my daughter meet her in the parking lot? My daughter said that was fine and told the driver where my building is, in the complex. The driver agreed to meet her there. My daughter went out to meet her but she was not where they agreed. So my daughter had to walk clear across the complex to another location and when she asked the driver what happened the driver screamed at her that if she didn't want delivery to just go get it herself next time. We complained to Grub hub and they did nothing. The drivers name is Melissa.

So I place an order and wait almost an hour to receive a message saying my order was canceled. They say my order was canceled at 7 but didn't send me a message until 7:40. I will never use them again.

Last night, I checked GrubHub and had a free delivery from KFC. I ordered at 7:45 PM and it said it'd get here around 8:40. Long, but fine. No problem. 8:50 hits and my driver isn't even at the restaurant. I call GrubHub and wait in silence for 5 minutes and realized they weren't taking calls due to "a high volume." I finally do the online chat, but was told it'd be coming in 25 minutes and was sent $10 off. Over an HOUR LATER, the food still wasn't here. I had to demand GrubHub cancel my order and I ordered from UberEats. It was close to 11 PM at this point. GrubHub SUCKS.

I placed an order and it got delayed 3times. I contacted the restaurant and they confirmed the order has been ready and they are waiting for a driver to come pick it up. Waiting over 90 minutes for a driver to be assigned is unacceptable. Now I have to fight with them to get my money back! Needless to say, I will no longer be using this food delivery service. From now on, I will use Ubereats or Doordash.

Waited for the food i ordered for 1.5 hours to be told that the restaurant is closed and I will not be getting my food. I Placed an order at 6:40PM. It was supposed to arrive at 7:30. I got several messages saying that there are delays, the last one said that my food will arrive at 8:10. At 8:10 i got a phone call saying that the restaurant is closed and my food will not be coming.

Never use Grubhub. I never received my food I ordered and paid for. After a hour after ordering a hour passed by. My order was marked as delivered. I never received it. After contacting the "friendly" and "helpful" customer service representative, and being hung up on; I was told there was nothing they could do. I was without my food, and had to pay for food I NEVER received. So basically, they are charging me for a service I never received! How is this not criminal. I was pretty angry, and have no understanding how this is not fraud. Never use Grubhub! Their theives!

Tried them once... horrible service. Dumb enough to try again... waited two hours for our food to be delivered only to receive a text message stating they cancelled our order due to the restaurant being closed. We ordered before 7pm. The place didn't technically close until 9pm... we ordered our food a full two hours before they even closed. Waited two hours for food that never came. I would stay far far away. They suck and their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this company. We will never use them again and will make sure to spread the word to family and friends.

If you make a mistake with your order. They won't cancel. They made me wait 16 minutes in chat while the food was ready. No refund was given. Uber eats is far more superior.

Friends of mine bought a gift card to GrubHub while I was recovering from surgery at home. Twice I tried using the website and the gift card, and both times, I thought I had made an order, but 3 hours later, no food had arrived. In both cases, I used the GrubHub support chat to figure out what was going on. In both cases, the support person refused to acknowledge that I had even made an order. Eventually, it turns out that you have to use a credit card to order, even if you have a gift card. The order was for about $20, and the gif t card had $400 on it, so I don't understand GrubHub's logic for that. They need to clean up their interface. It is incredibly frustrating, and would not want someone that is not tech saavy to have to deal with that. It should take a minimal number of mouse clicks to order food. The whole point is to make it easy to order food.

I ordered pizza for my family and I when the food arrived, the order was wrong. The driver was nice but the person who took the order read back my Order and confirmed what I was ordering. When I called the place I ordered from they couldn't help me. I called grub hub yet again to let them know my order was wrong. They said they would refund me for what was on my receipt that I didn't order. When I checked my bank account today, there is a charge for a pizza place with the same name but in an entirely different state. I will not order through the service again.

Ordered breakfast from a local place. Arrived way cold, beyond delivery cold... The eggs were runny cold and I ordered scrambled. Called GrubHub to get a redelivery and was met with the worst kind of customer service imaginable. All the way up to supervisors who refused to deliver a new order to me. They basically said cold was acceptable to them. Wouldnt give a refund, only offered $5 off my next order. My next call was the bank who reversed the charge no questions asked. Never ordering from them again! #BadCompany

If you want to have the order come wrong this is your place. I tired them 3 times but never again. The last ditch effort was to order from Taco Bell. Seemed easy enough. Made a big order for this place ($70) and waited. It came to the door with about 1/4 of the order. I called customer service and just wanted my order corrected. They cancelled the order, issued a refund and I was stuck. I told customer service all I wanted was my order delivered correctly. They said they were sorry, offered a $20 credit and said to order again. This was my 3rd $20 credit that was never honored from previous mistakes, so I didn't give it much thought. I just wanted my order. They said their hands were tied and to re-order. This company could really care less about anything except orders that are done right. The ones that go wrong are low priority. It says a lot about Grub Hub in general and it's only matter of time before this massive aspect of their company plays a serious role overall.

Ordered my food and waited 2 hours for it. Once I got it, it was from a whole different restaurant. The driver would not answer my phone calls to contact him and grubhub did nothing about it. I will NEVER EVERRRR use their service again

I place a order with them at a timely matter to get my food delivered but it was mess up not on my part but theirs and I was promised a refund which I had to call and remind them I didn't hesitate to take my money but sure is taking they time to refund me my money. So to not be stress out I call them and told them I will not be using their service again and they can keep the money...

One time I ordered from carrabbas while I was at work, well it was almost time for my lunch break, when I got their text saying they were there, I responded with I was on my way out, not even 3 min they waited, I go outside and no one was there! They took off with my food. I thought these dumbasses were supposed to wait 5 min? At least. I f i could rate them a negative 10 or infinity I would!

That your employees wait 5 or 10 min at least

After the estimated 1.5 hour wait for our food I called to see what the delay was. Grubhub claimed the retaraunt was closed and they would refund us plus give us a15$ credit. This of course was after speaking with an extremely rude customer service rep. The next day we ordered the same thing to come to the exact same scenaro, but this to me a 5$ credit. After this I called the restaurant to find that they were open both days. Called grubhub back to a customer service rep telling me "no one here would lie about that and risk their job". Lazy rude pieces of $#*!.

I placed order today. The driver texted me said he was on his way. Then there was silence. Then I got email saying order was delivered. It wasn't. I tried texting driver there was no response. I tried calling given phone number The phone was turned off. I called cooperate. There only resolution was a refund in five days. Really they can't replace order immediately. I was livid I live on social security it is real treat to order food once in a while. I don't want to wait five days given no choice. He said he would give 20 percent discount. I said don't bother I will not be reordering. It was not the miss delivery it was the turned off phone that pissed me off so much It is close to payday I am glad I had food Otherwise I would have gone hungry. Totally a ripoff that driver will still probably still got the tip for nothing.

I cannot believe a company who only delivers food, cannot get it right. I placed an order, was told 20-30 min timeline. After checking the status online and it staying it was still in the works, I called the restaurant and confirmed it had not been picked up and had been waiting 20 min. I messaged grub hub, chatted with Fernando and he said Sorry, I just assigned a driver. I asked why a driver was not ALREADY assigned. Ultimately, the order was canceled, and we went and picked up the food. I will never use grub hub. They dont care about their service they provide and it was a waste of time. Use another service like Door dash.
