“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I placed an order for Chinese food. I forgot to add a drink. When i called restaurant they informed me order was never placed. I placed the order directly with restaurant since I was hungry and figured Id deal with Eat24 later. I called the service the next day and was told since my order was pending it would get deleted from my bank account. A week later the charge was still there so I called Eat24 back and this became a back and forth dilemma from phone to eamil only to be told they dont have record of the credit card I claimed that I had made the transaction; this is after I sent them a picture of my credit card and a screen shot of the charge on my online bank statement. I replied to their email stating that I had already sent them the needed details and that I demand my money back or I was to contact my bank to dispute the charge and I would leave them a bad review online. I am now on hold with my banks dispute claims department so hopefully i will get this resolved soon.

Tip for consumers:
Looks like they have too many glitches in the sytem .. try again in 2017 to save yourself a headache

This is not the first time I had to return food to G's Grill. This last time I ordered pizza and it was soggy! I called the manager and he was not helpful wouldn't make me another pizza and he was very rude. I will never order from G's Grill again!

$#*! this grubgrub... I tried to place my order and my order didn't go through and they still charge me for my order and they told me I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours for my refund... what kind of bull$#*! is that? They did this to me before now I remember why I stop ordering from grubgrub

I ordered chinesse food at 4pm. Asked for delivery for 6pm... 4:30 delivery guy at my door wtf? You may use it for the menu but don't order with them. Having someone between you and the restaurant complicate thing

I tried to use it for the first time today and ordered about $60 worth of food. The confirmed delivery time was 45-60 mins after I order. After 1.5 hours of waiting for food, I called the restaurant and they told me to call Eat24 as that is the service that organizes the delivery. When I message Eat24, they tell me that the delivery service had declined to deliver my order (it was just sushi, if that matters). I asked what delivery service they used and they said they had no idea? This was super unprofessional as they didn't let me know until I asked about it 1.5 hours after I ordered and then they just canceled my order. Awful.

Husband and I ordered from Subway come to find out the man that was doing the delivery wasn't even the man that was supposed to be doing the delivery it was supposed to be his wife and she wasn't even in the car don't waste your time not worth it once burned never again...

1st order not delivered, called 2 hours after delivery window and said they were out of both items ordered.

2nd order not delivered, called 1 hour after delivery window and said that the restaurant is closed.

I was dumb to use them the second time. My bad.

I have never seen a worse delivery and customer service. These guys took an order, showed on their app that the order was delivered, except that no one ever showed up to deliver. When I contacted the customer care, they told me the delivery person tried contacting me through call and chat and then left without delivering. How convenient? I never received any call or text from the delivery person and am still clueless why she couldn't have left it at my door if she wasn't able to reach me. On top of that, the customer care guy had the nerve to tell me he cannot give me a refund but will offer me a 50 percent discount for the next order. I told him to buzz off and took a vow never to order from these cheapsters ever again! The Grubhub app from my phone is gone for good and is never coming back again!

I spent a lot of money, their fees are crazy high and the drivers tips are no less than 20% and all of thus will be OK if my food at least arrived on time and not all over the plastic bags because the containers were all smashed they actually looked like the bags were dropped somewhere because nothing looked good on those containers; I will not be using Grubhub ever again!

We ordered chinese food from mint 2 thai and sushi restaurant around 12:45am. We didn't want to wake anyone up in our house, and in the comments section we actually put that they needed to be quiet when they got to the house. After about 20 minutes we called the restaurant to see how long it would take. They said about 15 more minutes. An hour later, the guy came, YELLING into his car. We asked about why it took so long and he was immediately arguing with us and being really rude. I gave him the amount we owed for the food, and he demanded a tip. We said that it had been way too long to give him a tip (this was at 2am by the way) and he told us that we shouldnt order from his restaurant anymore. No problem.
Also, when we opened the bag, he got the order wrong. Fabulous.

One order never received. Multiple orders missing items or incorrect items. Final straw, after 2 hours and 45 minutes of "delay" in my order, I contacted customer support was offered a $15 credit. Order at 5:30pm final delay delivery time 8:16pm. After 20 minutes of back and forth I told them I was already serving diner without the order I placed. Stated to the guy at least twice that I didn't want the food and wanted my money refunded. Literally stated "So you want me to cancel the order?" Almost 3 hours late, never received, The driver it wasn't even at the restaurant yet… Yes I want it refunded and canceled?!

I don't order food very often but when I do and I see those "Sign up for an account now!" I never sign up. However, with GrubHub you have to sign up to place your order. It's a hassle, it's stupid, and I really don't like it. I think I would have a better opinion on this site if it weren't for this fact.

The good points of this site include that it's easy to use, order, and view your receipts. Anyone can use this site it's so easy.

Ordered a bucket of seafood from Fishermans Market in Longview, TX. Had to choose 3 meats so I chose 1. Fried catfish filets, 1. Fried catfish filets. 3. Boiled shrimp. Received food. Only had 2 pieces of fried catfish and the rest was shrimp. Spoke with restaurant manager and she said the girl called it in that way. She said she asked her twice if she only wanted 2 pieces and she said yes. Should have been 2/3 catfish & 1/3 shrimp. I will never use Grub Hub again. A $50.00 mistake on Grub Hub's part!

I ordered from Tacobell for $20 and never received the delivery. The delivery time kept getting pushed back and after waiting for 1 hour the online tracking said delivered. I received a message from the driver Regina saying she is downstairs. I replied and called 3 times and looked for 10 minutes but never received any reply from her. Grubhub sent a voicemail saying the driver will leave in 5 minutes. I reached out to Grubhub only to hear nothing can be done. Neither a full refund nor a redelivery is possible and they could not get hold of their driver. Disappointed.

I order around 2hours back, still I haven't received my order. I called customer care multiple times and said they always lied that driver is at restaurant. When i called driver, he said he hasn't received my order at all. Driver and customer care both of them have lied to me. Waste service. You will die of hunger i you order food from thier app

I tried to place an order and received a message that there was an unexpected error, to try again. After trying multiple times I decided to call them. The agent said the account was shut down for review, to try back is a few days and I should be able to order. The message couldn't have just said that instead of me waisting my time trying to get an order thru? I asked what triggered the review and the agent couldn't tell me. They shut down my account and couldn't say anything but sorry for the inconvenience, I would be upset too. Good-bye GrubHub. App deleted

Second time ordering - once it was over an hour after I ordered, the second it never arrived. When canceling they tell me it will take 3-5 days for my credit. Is this their scam? They get my money immediately I never get my food and they keep my money for 3-5 days. Do not ever use this service

Customer service refused to refund a delivery fee for food I did not recieve and refused to send a driver to deliver the food I paid for but never received. So I lost money on on an order in which I did nothing wrong.

Decided to give it a try for the second time since the first time ended bad. Ordered at 7:15pm and never received my order. Restaurant had called me that the food was ready but that they were waiting for driver. The order was canceled at 9pm and didn't get notified until 9:23pm. Waited over two hours for nothing. Worst food app ever.

I got told that since I have gotten (so called numerous amounts of promos and refunds that i could not get a refund for my order when my order was not fully cooked the meat was half raw and I am 8 months pregnant. I told grubhub i do not want the refund I JUST want my order re made! They rejected me and said they can not help me. They treated me wrong and unfair i gave been ordering through these people for many of years and this was the treatment I received. My name is Polly Graham and I will never forget how these people have treated me. I might as well go to uber eats or door dash at least they will treat me better. Never again will I ever go through grub hub my order was 22 dollars and I not once asked for a refund but for ONLY TO BE RE MADE

This was our first and last time using this company. We ordered our food for our family of 6. This was for our son's 2nd Birthday dinner party. We placed the order early and tracked our order for a hour and a half. The site gave updates that food was ready for delivery. Then after a hour and a half we get a notice saying they cancelled our order. We called Red Bowl and they said order was not cancelled by them. After numerous attempts of contacting grub hub, all they said was contact your bank in 7-10 days if not refunded. $70+ order.

Don't ever give this company your business or your money.

I placed an order on Eat24 and waited for over an hour only to have someone call me to inform me "the restaurant couldn't locate any drivers". I called the restaurant to address the issue and was told by the manager that it is not the restaurant's responsibility to supply the driver, but instead a third party company through eat24. I work the graveyard shift and often rely on apps such as eat24 and grub hub for food delivery at night. This has happened to me on several occasions, so it seems to me that a business who makes their money in "food delivery" would pride themselves in "delivering food". The fact that I was told after 1hr and 10min that I would not get my food is unacceptable. I am now left with the option of ordering from 1 of three places, one of which has terrible reviews and 1 of which has given me food poisoning in the past. Unacceptable.

I ordered at 7:30, at 8:30 had no food and called. Driver never picked up the food and they said 10 minutes more. They couldn't find the guy who was supposed to deliver, and started looking for someone else to deliver the food and no one did. 30 minutes later I decided to order other food, and 15 minutes after that they said only another half hour... I cancelled the order and was content with Domino's. 7:30-9:15 and NO FOOD. 1 hour and 45 minutes...

If I could give a zero I would. Grub hub over charged me, it's like they put there own amount on my order. Then when you call customer service to advise them of the over charge they want to say I assure you it wasn't grub hub it was your bank. Like are you stupid? Like I just fell off a water truck. Then they want to tell you you have to wait 48hr till there other dept. gets ahold of you. Then they want to say maybe there was a hold put on the card. Grant it I just used them a couple days ago and they didn't over charge. Be careful customers because grub hub is over charging then they have all these different reasons to tell you or excuses they want to use. It's a good thing we have banks that can stand up on our behalf. I'm done I will not use them again

I wrote a very clear note for the driver for directions to my condo. The driver did not speak English well. He was unable to read it. He delivered my food to the WRONG condo. I still have Not received my food. It has been over an hour now.
