Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
I've tried ordering from them twice. Both times the delivery would be delayed for over two hours, and then they would just cancel the order entirely. They did refund, but this is ridiculous!

I orders bbq through grubhub the woman took half our order took our brisket from the container pretty much too half of our food and we called $#*!eys to see where our food was the manager had personally packaged our food and he said everything was in the bag and it shouldve arrived but it didnt.
I love the food but they take a VERY long time to bring your food, they never give tissue, forks, or anything and they always forget something & today I ordered chicken tenders, and called and asked for honey mustard the lady on the phone is going to say it's $1.25 extra And she had an attitude, I don't understand if I pay for something I want it, I paid for 2 sprite sodas and only got one If you want to order from here, keep in mind it will take anywhere from and hour and a half to 2 hours!
Why is it that GrubHub continues to do the same thing when it comes to letting people know orders are canceled? I placed an order at 8:41am. I received an email at 9:11am saying my order was being prepared. How do I get an email stating my order is being prepared, just to find out at 9:41am that the store is closed and my order is being canceled. And this happens all the time. You have the worst customer service ever.
I tried Grub Hub for the first time and will never use them again. The restaurant cancelled my order because they did not have one of the items... said they had texted me which I did not get... my gripe is with Grubhub! I finally got the restaurant to say they would put my order together and claimed they had called Grubhub to come back. But I called Grub hub and they were adament. They would not go back and noone I talked to was sympathetic. I WILL NEVER USE GRUBHUB AGAIN!

I ordered food at around 1230 am since my baby is little & i was starving & didnt want to wake her up. At 2 food wasnt here yet! Gave it till 215-220 since it said 30-90 mins. Food didnt get here, so i cancelled it, i was starving but super sleepy, come on 2 hrs later!

This place really suck! And it's not the restaurant I ordered from. I ordered online at 6:00pm and I was told that my order would arrive to me by 7:45pm. So 8:00pm came along and still no food. So of course I call, and the driver stated he JUST called in my order and It will be another 45 minutes to an hour before I receive my food! Never order from her... TRY FOOD NOW. THEY ARE GREAT
Awful, food was cold and I paid over 60.00,I'm a single mom and on a tight income so I had extra money from tips at work and wanted to treat my kids to something. I don't drive so this was perfect, that was until the food got here and then customer service was a joke. They have a guarante policy and they DO NOT HONOR THAT POLICY.

I have used this company precisely three times and never had a good experience. The first time I used GrubHub my food was supposed to be delivered within 30 minutes - 2 hours later it finally arrived and was cold. I complained and the company just apologized and offered me a discount on my next order. The second time I used them I was on vacation and thought they would be better in another city. Wrong. The food once again took over 2 hours to arrive. When I once again called customer service they contacted the driver who had decided to eat a meal at the restaurant I was ordering from all the while my food was just sitting with him. The last and FINAL time I will ever use GrubHub came today when my friend used their service when moving into their new homes so that we could continue unpacking while the food was delivered. An hour goes by without delivery, so we call customer service who tell us our food hasn't even been picked up yet. Food arrive again at around the 2 hour marker. Would not recommend. A one star rating is generous frankly.
Ordered food at 5:05pm and the food never arrived. I called the restaurant at 6:58pm and they indicated my food had been sitting there since 5:35pm. I immediately contacted #Grubhub and requested to have my order cancelled and the funds refunded. They said all they could do was provide me a 20% discount on my next purchase. I simply said either cancel the order and refund me my money or I'll simply call my bank and have the purchase disputed. In the end the GrubHub manager said fine we can refund you the money. I hung up the phone called my bank to block the purchase just in case they want to be slick. In the end, the #Grubhub app has been deleted off my phone and here is the bad review I threatened them with if they didn't cancel the order immediately and refund my money.
Tip for consumers:
Never use Grubhub, bunch of scammers!!! Order food that never arrived and they they only want to provide a 20% discount on my next purchase. Simply called my bank and disputed the purchase. Removed the app from my phone and ordered from Uber Eats, arrived hot and in less than 35 minutes.

Absolutely garbage delivery service that not only hides their support contact phone number, but doesn't contact you when an order is not delivered timely. They also do not disclose that they use third party delivery drivers. In addition to this lack of communication, they couldn't provide me with any compensation to my $50 order other than a simple, "sorry." It's no wonder they have to entice people to use their service by having a $5 coupon available. SAVE your time and money and DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
I ordered from here to get food for my kids and myself. I cant be out in the sun due to health reasons. They gave a certain time it would be here. When it said it was delivered... I went to the door. Not only did they not bring the door bell. The food wasn't even delivered. I went on to call the driver. He then wouldn't answer my call. He finally texted back and said where he left it. I had my daughter go look around and she went around the whole complex and couldn't find it. She has to use a cane to get around. With the heat warning outside it wasn't good to be out. So not only could I not get my kids lunch. I used the money I had left on my card to get them lunch. I gotta wait 5 to 10 days to get my money back. How am I to feed my kids when they messed up my order? So now my friend that lives in Phoenix had to come out here so they didn't go without good. I am very disappointed and disgusted on how I was treated. It was very disrespectful I will never use this again.
I've only used this service a couple of times and they have gotten 2 orders incorrect without correcting the orders. Once I received breads sticks instead of chicken strips and didn't get refunded or the food replaced. And another similar order I didn't receive the sauce for my sauce dependant food. That may sound funny but imagine if you ordered spaghetti and never received the spaghetti sauce. You would expect to get the sauce or a full refund. But grubhub expects you to eat the noodles without sauce and they'll give a $5 discount on the next order not taking into consideration that you don't want to eat dry $15 noodles without any sauce. I will never order through grub hub and will never recommend this service to anyone, ever. DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB! They don't care about getting your order correct and will take your money without a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB!

Our company used to use Eat24 once a week for our office luncheons and parties. We rarely had any problems with deliveries. I believe Eat24 has recently been sold, and the last 3 times we've used them they have completely botched everything and left us stranded with no food for important client meetings. So maybe new ownership is terrible?
2 times the food was over an hour late.We called the restaurant, who said the food was ready but no driver had showed up. When we called EAT24 to complain and ask why, they said the driver had picked it up and was on the way (liars!). We said "We demand a refund but still need the food." The representative put us on hold and came back to say "Ok, we've cancelled your order, you'll have to place the order again." WHAT? How does that make sense? The food is already made, sitting at the restaurant, just send your driver to pick it up and bring it to us? Leaving us embarrassed and with no food to feed our clients, they offered a $25 credit (on a $150 bill), no apologies and no food. This has happened a few times recently, and at first we thought it was just a fluke and gave them another chance, but never again!
Such a disappointment. A company that was most likely created to increase efficiency in life and they don't even know how to function. Placed our dinner order and overall, our food never arrived. We call Grub Hub and first off, I can barely hear the customer service rep because it sounds like they're all sitting around a table together. The rep offers to call the driver to check their status and placed me on hold. She then says the driver told her he's 15 minutes from our place. We get an updated estimated arrival time. Waited another 30 minutes and our food still didn't arrive. We called the restaurant again and they state our food has STILL not been picked up. So either the customer service rep or driver lied. We called Grub Hub again to explain our disappointment and dissatisfaction. They cancel our order and provided a refund. Such a waste of time. Grub Hub also initially gave us a promo for only 10% off a future $50 order... wow, what a promo. Thanks, but no thanks Grub Hub. Just end your company now. You're a complete waste of time.
I'm very satisfied with GRUBhub and i have order many times with GRubhub very amazing service and also on time every time. Delicious food option are amazing. IN addition their drivers are very professional and take the extra mile to make sure that your food arrives fast. In addition their drivers are treated well and you have a tipping option unlike other option such as UBER EATS that do no tip their drivers and exploit them.
Can't believe how many people have had a similar experience. I ordered from Grub Hub and they blocked my order, yet held the amount of $51. When I called to complain about this, everyone was so nonchalant about it as they claimed that it was "just a hold." A hold that happened on a Friday which meant it would take 2-5 business days to fall off. When I asked why it is that they hold funds for an order that was blocked, all they had to say is "that's how we do things." It makes absolutely no sense to block an order while holding an amount on people's card. These people are truly careless with customer's bank information and they should not be trusted due to the amount of things that go wrong.
Unfortunately, this was not my first bad experience with GrubHub. Just recently I had an order that sat ready for an hour before a GrubHub driver picked it up from the restaurant. However, things like that are bound to go wrong every once in a while and is to be expected, what is not expected is a restaurant putting the burden of their mistakes or glitches on customers. What's not expected is the lack of good customer service once an error or inconvenience is made.
My account was set to receive text after my food was supposed to be delivered. 30 minutes after ETA, absolutely no text or call. Called the restaurant, and they were unable to tell me whether or not my food had been delivered. I then contacted the Grubhub team, who asked me to check the other entrance of the hotel I'm staying at. I did, and there was an order there (however, it was a generic white bag with a brown paper bag inside- no restaurant or customer name). THE GRUBHUB TEAM INSTRUCTED ME TO OPEN THE PAPER BAG, and pretty much touch possibly someone else's food to check if it was mine. For those of us staying at hotels or places where you're not the only resident, how many times is our order opened by other people, simply because the driver chose not to send a picture receipt? Oh, and worst yet, I ordered alcohol with my order. WASN'T THE DRIVER SUPPOSED TO CHECK ID?
