“Fees increase after delivery”

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

We placed an order through GrubHub for the KFC on Crater Road in Petersburg, VA because it is so close to us. Not only was our order more than a half-hour late, but it was also incorrect. Instead of the 2 Diet Pepsi drinks I ordered, we received 1 regular Sprite-type beverage, which was definitely not good for my diabetic husband. Our chicken was wrong, and our sides were wrong or missing as well. In addition, our dessert order was non-existent. The driver was useless as far as customer service, as were the customer service people to whom I spoke on the phone. They were to replace and redeliver my order, but then they sent an email message refusing to do so, claiming that a restaurant that closes at 10 p.m. was closed at 8:02 p.m. This was completely unacceptable, and the only way to have satisfactorily fixed it was to have delivered our original order promptly and correctly, which they refused to do. They had plenty of time to have fixed it during the whole time period of this experience, yet they refused and resorted to lying about it. The fault lies with both KFC and GrubHub, and both had absolutely horrible customer service.

This website is just awful and doesn't even compare to campusfood.com.
First of all, it keeps on asking me where I am and there is no way to make a default location. If you give people the option to list more than one address, at least allow them to choose the default location.
Second, why the hell would I want the restaurant with the highest delivery cost to pop up when I use the filter? Who the hell goes out of their way to list the most expensive delivery charges first when they want to order a meal?
Third, having to scroll down a list of cuisines I want is just poor design when you can list most, if not all of them out.
Fourth, the list of restaurants that you display is dwarfed by your huge ad for yourself. I would not be on this website if I did not know about it already. I visited the damn site to look at some restaurants and order some food, not to look at a huge green arrow surrounded by useless white space.
This site is just disappointing and any of the improvements from campusfood.com are just overshadowed by the lack of attention they put in to designing this site.

WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I ORDERED LUNCH JUST SUSHI NOTHING CRAZY FANCY THE FOOD WAS BURNT AND COLD AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE DRIVER CURSED AT ME AND WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL! AND THE CUSTOMER CHAT TOLD ME THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! THEY HIRE SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!

I Placed an order with GrubHub, and they gave me a 60 to it 90 minutes delivery period. A half-hour past the expected delivery time, I called customer service to see what was going on. I was told that the problem was with the restaurant and that our food would be delivered within a half hour. Another hour goes by before 2 frantic and petrified looking women from the restaurant, not a GrubHub delivery person delivered my order. I was told by these women that GrubHub called in our order about 45 minutes before they made the delivery. Evidently, someone is lying, and I'm inclined to believe its GrubHub, and here's why. I paid GrubHub to make the delivery, hence food delivery service. The restaurant that we ordered from does not deliver. Ever. So why did the restaurant workers delivery the food? I also gave GrubHub a tip that is supposed to go to the delivery person, and they looked at me like I was 7 kinds of crazy when I mentioned that we gave GrubHub a tip for them. GrubHub if your reading this, this tip should go to the restaurant worker who delivered our food, not your company. GrubHub gave us a $10 coupon, but we won't be using it. I abhor dishonesty.

I work in an office building. Grubhub has delivered numerous times to my suite. For some reason, today, the driver LEFT THE FOOD OUTSIDE THE BUILDING ON THE GROUND. When I called him, he hung up on me. By far, THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE ON THE PLANET. DO NOT USE.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE GRUBHUB.

Full refund for food that was left OUTSIDE an office building.

If late, they give you discounts.
You can pay for child's food in another city.

I tried Grubhub about 1 year ago and I had a ticket which was for a large family event. My ticket was over $300 and the food just never showed up. They charged me and eventually refunded my money which showed up back in my account 11 days later!

I was so frustrated with their terrible service that I deleted the app.

Fast forward to tonight, I forgot that I deleted their app and a family member wanted to use Grub hub even though I told them of my terrible experience.

We ordered food, they said it was on the way but no one showed AGAIN!

Now I'm out the $120 for tonight until they decide to refund my money.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEIR SCAM OF A COMPANY!

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site if you want your food delivered Try Uber Eats, or somethin else.

We placed the oEder 9:23pm online; got text stating delivery between 10:10pm and 10:20pm. We waited. At 10:30pn we called the restaurant and they didn't get the order! The guy had no clue about any order.
We called Grubhub, they looked it up and said, we can refund your money. They never sent the order. This is a scam.
We're left hungry and angry, too late to order from anyplace else other than pizza.
These people are incompetent failures. Will never use them again.

Placed an order 3/12/17 about noon, the order said it would be about 45 minutes until the food arrived. After an hour I called the restaurant to see if our food had been picked up because the app just kept saying that the order was placed. The cashier said no deliveries were available that day and they informed EAT24 TWICE, not just once but TWICE. I was never informed by anyone at EAT24 that delivery was unavailable. The restaurant lets me know that I could pick up the order if I still wanted it. Sent Customer service THREE messages! After the third message, someone contacted me if I wanted to pick my order up. Absolutely ridiculous! NEVER using this APP. NOT RECOMMENDING EVEN LET EVERYONE ON MY FB AND INSTAGRAM KNOW NOT TO USE THIS APP! If no stars were an option I would select that!

An hour and a half wait with rude delivery men who don't even wear uniforms! The people coming to my door are usually unkempt and very unprofessional GubHub is a trashy place to order.

GrubHub should be OUT OF BUSINESS. Read Reviews People! Bad Companies like this Should FAIL, Good Companies should Rise. Grub hub is Terrible. I have given them so many chances to process my orders; 5 times since January and EVERY TIME, I get the Error 'Payments unprocessable.' My Payments work FINE on UBER EATS, my cards are good, etc. I even opened a Tech Support Ticket in December, 2016 too, 4 months later, NOTHING... and, STILL THE SAME ERROR. I opened a New Account and STILL, SAME ERROR. These guys are Terrible. Seriously, do NOT SUPPORT THEM. The deserve to Fail. READ OTHER REVIEWS AND SEE.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE. TERRIBLE COMPANY that YOU WILL BE SUPPORTING IF YOU DO. Look at the Other Ratings and Use another service like Uber Eats or something. Let this company Fade into the Realm of Terrible Companies and Customer Service.

GRUB HUB JUST GETS WORSE AND WORSE. I PAY MONTHLY SO I DONT HAVE TO PAY DELIVERY FEES BUT EVERY TIME I ORDER THROUGH GRUB HUB I CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF. NOT ONLY THE COST OF FOOD IS MINIMUM $4.00 MORE THAN THE ACTUAL PRICE BUT THERES FEES SEEMS TO BE GETTING HIGHER COMPARE TO OTHER SERVICES SUCH AS DOORDASH AND UBER EAT. SHAME ON YOU FOR MARKING THE PRICE UP ON TOP OF YOUR SERVICE FEE.

Grubhub delayed my order 4x's I called the restaurant and they told my food was waiting and boxed... Called Grubhub they said his system said everything was fine HUH? I cancelled my order they said it will take 5 days to refund my $40... NEVER AGAIN

Placed order at 8:23pm. At 8:29pm the status was updated to say the order wad accepted and to provide a delivery time of 9:35 to 9:40pm. Food was never delivered. Only after I called the restaurant 5 minutes after the delivery time was I ever informed that the restaurant cancelled or tried to cancel the order. So at 950pm I now have no food and most places are closed. I will never use GrubHub again.

The most unprofessional drivers and customer service agents. They are a scam. They deliver cold mushy food and takes over an hour to deliver. I recommend Uber. DO NOT USE GRUBHUB.

WORST DELIVERY FOOD SERVICE EVER! Do not waste your time. Have a company lunch account through these clowns order for the first time for a lunch delivery: ordered at 10.30am for delivery at 12.30pm received text to say they were going to be late 1.00/1.30pm called take restaurant - they were waiting for the driver would be there soon - speak to supervisor at grub hub who apologized, issued refund, said they would comp my meal and it would be there soon. 2pm received text stating the order was cancelled. Spoke to the supervisor against she said she would fix it and send food to evening instead - delivery was supposed to be 6pm they called to confirm and then I get text it going to be late! Surprise surprise 6.30 to 6.40pm - then text at 7pm cancelled called grub hub heard the same crap as before - if you're hungry you will stay hungry with these clowns!

I ordered from grubhub and they did not deliver my food to the location I was at they sat in their car and called me from a spam number to let me know they were at my location but never attempted to bring my food inside to me I called and informed them of this and asked for a refund of my money and they refused to return my money after several attempts to get my money back they said it would be returned to my account but they never returned it I will never use this company again I will use doordash instead at least they bring the food to the door and ask for the person that ordered the food.

Grubhub has honestly been the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. The customer service representatives are absolutely useless and just throw people 5$ coupons and order vouchers for each time they screw something up. ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE for a restaurant to be 2 minutes down the road and a driver to say that they will take ANOTHER 20 minutes after being an hour and a half late. This happened to my fiancé and I all weekend long from multiple places, one driver even LIED and told the company he attempted to deliver our order at 1:45 in the morning when that was NOT the case. Spent a total of about 2 hours with customer service reps who barely speak English and do not have the ability to give a straight answer or explanation. At the end of everything he told us that he would be sending us an email voucher to cover the full price of our next meal, and when we checked the email it was a 20% off coupon that expires the next day.

SARFINO'S PIZZA WAS WORKING WITH GRUB HUB.WE HAD A CONTRACT TO BE ADVERTISED BY GRUB HUB AND THEY WILL KEEP 15% FOR THAT. ACCORDING TO OUR LAST STATEMENT, WHICH I WOULD BE ABLE TO FAX TO ANYBODY, WHO WANTS TO SEE IT, I WAS CHARGED $94.52 AD FEE PLUS $6.02 CC FEE ON THE AMOUNT OF $155.04.SO, TO MAKE IT CLEAR - I COOKED AND DELIVERED THE FOOD FOR $155.04 AND RECEIVED A CHECK FOR $54.50. WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY REFUSED TO COMMENT AND PROMISED THAT TERESA(THE MANAGER) WILL CALL BACK. SHE NEVER DID.SO WE DON'T WORK WITH GRUB HUB ANYMORE!

This week I ordered from Houlihans in Lawrenceville, NJ and Wings to Go in Hamilton NJ. Both times an entree was forgotten. I contacted the restaurants but was redirected to call GrubHub who told me that they can remove the missing entree and credit it back with the approval from a manger from the restaurants which they both did. Then I had to reorder the item, incur an additional delivery charge, an additional TIP and wait another hour. I did not do this I just took the credit and sucked it up. It seems to me that the missing componenet here is that the delivery service is not responsible for the order and the restaurant is not responsible for the delivery so if a mistake is made, you are out of luck. I suggest that Grub Hub make their deilvery people responsible for double checking the order and then this won't happen. I will never use Grub Hub again as it is clearly a waste of my time and money. The restaurants both provide good food, no complaints there.

The site will say 25-35 minute delivery time but you will never get your order faster than 1 hour. They will lie and tell you a driver is on the way when they haven't even assigned one!
