“Fees increase after delivery”

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

Somehow my account got banned after getting $200 in gift cards from Verizon. Nobody has an answer on why I can not use my account and I am not sure on what to do.

It took them more than 30 minutes longer than they said to deliver my food. And they gave me a ridiculous two dollar coupon. Wow! Terrible experience and terrible service. Do not use them

First order with them. Now 50 minutes late and still no news from the restaurant or anybody. Their customer service will only reply to you every 3-4 minutes. Will never order from them again.

I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW GRUBHUB CREDIT CARD DECLINED WHEN THEY WENT TO PICK UP MY ORDER AND THEN LIED TO ME SAYING THE CC MACHINE AT THE RESTAURANT WAS DOWN. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT TO CONFIRM THIS WAS ACCURATE. THE RESTAURANT TOLD ME THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE WAS WORKING AND IT WAS GRUBHUB CC THAT HAD BEEN DECLINED! THE SUPERVISOR THAT I SPOKE TO NAMED CASSANDRA DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE SITUATION AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! I SUGGEST USING A DIFFERENT DELIVERY SERVICE! REALLY WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT?

They sent me texts about my order being late and finally when I received the pic of my delivery it wasn't my door, the delivery was done who knows where. Rest assure I will never use Grubhub again

I ordered GrubHub earlier today. When my driver arrived he simply texted "I have arrived". So I looked out the window and saw his car and was waiting for the driver to come to the door with my food. After several minutes the driver called me and stated "I'm here" to which I said "okay, are you going to come to the door?" He replied "no.". I was a little perplexed. Was it because of the millimeter of snow on my sidewalk? So I put on some flip-flops and went out to the delivery driver's car where he handed me my order. Now I was a bit taken a back and, to be honest, kind of angry.
I contacted GrubHub customer service, explained the situation and asked to remove the driver's tip. They then replied that the driver is not obligated to leave their car to complete delivery. Wait... Is this some kind of joke? What's the point of ordering food for delivery and not having it delivered to your door? When I was a driver I brought every order directly to the customer in every season and I live in Minnesota! I was just under the impression that's how you're supposed to do it.
Needless to say I have deleted this app. Call me old-fashioned but customer service should be an important part of providing any service. Even if it is just bringing me a sandwich.

Wally the cook really took care of us. He apologized for the wait even though we arrived early. He also let my daughter test the quality if the fries. The chicken goes without saying... so so tasty.

I placed my order at 6:55pm and did not receive my order until 8:20pm. I called the restaurant since I magically couldnt track my food on the app. The restaurant stated my order had been ready for pick up since 7:02pm. So then the app tells me they are waiting for the restaurant which was a lie. I call customer service and not helpful or apologetic at all they called the driver and the driver was barely on their way to pick up my order. No apology or anything just a crappy $5 promo code and that my order would be here 10-20 minutes. So almost two hours for my order and my concern is that it was sushi. So it was sitting prepared for over an hour. All the customer service representative could say is call us if theres a food quality issue. How unprofessional. DoorDash always relievers sooner than the estimated time and never blames the restaurant. I am so disappointed with this service and the fact that Grubhubs customer service didnt even care to rectify the problem.

On June 5,2020, my wife ordered food from Lucia's Smokehouse Barbecue, through Grubhub at 11:00am, they said it be here at 12:00pm, which was great since I'm working at home.

At 12:10, the Grubhub driver was still on his way, by 12:20, we found out from Grubhub, that the driver, Jesse E. Had delivered our lunch at some else house, with out, knocking or confirming whether that householder even ordered it!

That householder called Grubhub and let them know they didn't order anything from Lucia's Smokehouse Barbecue.

We had Grubhub reverse the charges and I will NEVER use them again.

They may have given me most of my money back, but they did not bring all of what I ordered & charged me delivery fees. Thumbs down to you grubhub I should have gotten a full refund... smh

I ordered from Grubhub for the first time and needless to say that was my last time! One hour after ordering my food i called wondering what was the hold up to identify that i was never assigned a driver. Moments after my order was placed i received a text message notifying me my order was being made so the fact that a driver was never assigned is disturbing. The customer service person apologized and assured me she would get me a giftcard for the inconvenience I've yet to hear anything about that either. I don't recommend Grubhub. I ordered from Grubhub for the first time and needless to say that was my last time! I want to give a review on my resent experience with Grub Hub. Last night around 7 pm my husband and I decided to order food and have it delivered to our home through Grub Hub. We placed our order and received confirmation our food would be delivered within 40-45 Min. 40 min went passed then 45 min passed. We understood it may take a little time but then an hour and 30 min passed and still no food. My husband called and was told the driver was on its way so we waited and 2.5 hours went passed still nothing. So we finally decided to request a refund. My husband called Customer Service and told the rep re want a refund but this time we were put on hold for a very long time. Then got hung up on. Woke up this morning and checked my account and found my funds were not returned to my account. I did get in contact with a rep and he stated he would return my funds so I will give it till the end of the day. This is not the 1st time this happened. This was very disappointing. Its one thing to not have your food delivered but to keep my money after requesting it back is something I wont accept. This is not right what your company is doing.

Stadium used to be a place we would frequent because of its happy hour and the fact that most places in the area closed down. About a month ago we ordered nachos the same way we have been ordering for years. After about 45 minutes of waiting for our food the nachos came out burnt and the chicken looked like someone chewed it up and placed it on our nachos. The waiter never checked on us and I had to ask three people to come to the table. 30 minutes later someone came by and said they would fix it. Another 40 minutes went by and they had the nerve to bring out the same exact nachos that we returned! I cannot believe that someone would give two children food that was brought back and bring it out again especially during Covid! We could have gotten really sick. We left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat after sitting in the heat at Stadium with no food. Waiter was rude and never came to our table. My kids wanted to try Stadium nachos again even after our experience last time and knowing they charge $20 for nachos. When we arrived the manager told me that even though they messed up our food and service was horrible that the owner said we are not welcome back ever again! Can you believe that! To the owner, grow a backbone and talk to your customers when you are there when they ask for you and get over yourself. Your food is not good. Location is the only plus for you. Customer service is always number one. Don't forget that. My kids learned a good lesson that day on how to not treat guests.

I don't normally write reviews but this has to be the worst delivery service on the market now. The drivers are terrible, last order driver actually lied to me, stole a few sandwiches, and I had to go to the restaurant to pick up the order! DON'T EVER USE EAT 24, EVER!

Me 2929 32nd st The place is Benteler automotive. Me Are you here? Her No.me How long will it be before you get here.her Detour and there were 2 address listed on your order! Me Don't know two address got put on there but how much longer it's going to be because my lunch is at 12 if not not going to be here by then I will have to call and get my money back. Her: How do you get to your location with 32nd street torn up! Me: You can come up 32nd. Her: I will be there but I not going destroy my car! Me: Your not I drive to work every day and come up 32nd all the so does every other car that's driving up it now the that's coming to my building.her: Guess what I just had a construction worker tell me I cannot get through! You can cancel your order as cannot deliver!. Never again and I think she needs to be fire and the don't even Deserve any stars that's how bad they are

Twice this month I have ordered food and have been VERY specific with delivery instructions. As we are a business, I ask them to leave the food at the front door, knock, and text me. When I receive the text that the order should be coming soon, I always go stand by the door to wait. Twice now, I have waited about 30 minutes after they say it's on its way, and then it never arrives. The first time was on July 17th. They said they would send me a refund, which does not make me happy because I had to order elsewhere and wait, but at least I thought I would get my money back. As of July 30th, I still have not received my refund for that order. Today, the same thing happened. I waited for 30 minutes, nobody ever showed up, but when I checked the "Track my order" it claims it was delivered. Now I am going to be waiting for two refunds which will probably never come either. This is such a scam. At least with DoorDash, they tell me who my driver is, and provide a phone number to text the driver or communicate, and my food always shows up. I have even had drivers take a picture of my food at the door to prove it made it. Grubhub, if you are reading this, YOU CAN DO BETTER, and I would like my two refunds please.

We tried to have food delivered with Grubhub 2 weeks ago. We made a $55 purchase from a local restaurant after over an hour wait we called to check the status of the order- we were told they attempted to call but had the wrong number- then emailed us (no email) instead of offering to deliver or refund us they gave 3 partial coupons to use toward future purchase. Tonight we tried again... after an hour and 15 min we got a partial order delivery. We used one of the coupons and added $15 more to this order to pay. When we contacted them I asked for them to deliver the missing food. They refused and stated they would refund the missing item. At this point I asked for a refund from my original order and offered to surrender the coupons. Instead of refunding me they applied the $30 in remaining coupons to the order I already paid for. Long story short I paid $55 for $26 in food after a second try with the company. Bad service- double charged... refused to correct delivery both times and refused a refund of remaining undelivered food. Bummer!

Grubhub is terrible, said itd be an hour, its been 2 hours food still not here. Stay away from them! Order directly from a restuarant you know or another site. They are just terrible.

If I could give a negative star review, I would. I've tried using Eat24 twice and both times I NEVER got my food. I thought I'd give them a second chance because the first time had a lot to do with the restaurant being delayed, not Eat24. However, after a second occurrence of waiting 2 hours for a delivery that was estimated to take only 45-60 minutes, I had to write this review.

Rather than Eat24 contacting me to be proactive and let me know there was an issue, I had to call them multiple times when they kept missing the deadline for when the food was to be delivered. I called the restaurant directly after not being able to get a straight answer from Eat24 on why the order was taking so long. The restaurant informed me that they had issues with receiving orders from Eat24 and that they did not actually receive my order from Eat24 until ONE HOUR after I had placed the initial order. Absolutely ridiculous.

While Eat24 agreed to cancel my order and refund my money, they did not offer any credit and barely apologized for the delay. Will never use this site to order food again.

I placed an order with grubhub and after waiting until ten minutes after my order was supposed to be here I called the restaurant only to find out that my food has been sitting there and there is no drive to be found. I asked "What about my food?" and they said that when this happens they re-make the meal. (so does this happen a lot?) oh and what a WASTE of food. GrubHub should have to pay for that extra meal. Well the restaurant told me I would have to call grubhub. Called and was placed on hold for 15 minutes while they figured it out. Then was hung up on. (didn't drop the call because I'm on a land line) called back the second time and found out that there were drivers in the area when the order was placed but by the time it was done there was no one in the area to pick it up. THEN WHY HAVE THE OPTION TO ORDER IT?!?!?!?!?!. So after I tell them I would still like to eat tonight they finally find a driver I guess and say they will send them. After hanging up with them after a few minutes I get a call from the driver herself that she is 15 minutes from the restaurant and asks if I still want to get it. At this point I'm wondering two things. Why didn't the company call me back to let me know they had someone and is there any communication between the company and their drivers at all? Why did they not tell her I still wanted it? Overall I'm very disappointed with this company. They need to get their act together and find some way to make it a better experience or maybe they could actually care about the people that are paying the for such terrible service.
