Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
On THREE different occasions I ordered food from THE SAME PLACE & the first time the were almost an hour late from the promised time, the second time the driver never showed up to get the food, now this is the third time & they have changed the delivery time three times & its over two hours from the time that i originally placed my order! So i called complaining to cancel my order and refund my money because this is the third time ive had this problem and they refused to refund me or cancel my order!
I ordered food from Burger Spot #1 through eat24 around 7:45 PM with delivery estimated time 45-60 minutes. I waited til about 9 to check status where no one answered the phone and I left a message to call be back with status. Then, I contacted them again at 9:15 asking to cancel the order and had to leave another message since no one would pick up at the restaurant. Then I went out to go get food as we could not wait longer. Then After we ate the food, they came to the door at 9:40. A Younger male came to the door. I told them that it had been 2 hours since I ordered the food and I had already left message to cancel the order and that we were not accepting the food.
I then got an email from eat24 that the food was delivered. I called them back and told them that I did not receive the food and since the food came 2 hours later that we turned them back and did not accept the food. The restaurant is claiming that the food was delivered. I don't know what the driver did with the food or who he gave it to but it was not to me.
The CEO should be embarrassed. How can you tell your employees who they can and can not support politically?! I will never use this company and I will tell my friends and family to do the same.

Yep. Straight robbery and I was actually standing outside waiting for the driver. Marked as delivered while I was standing there with all the ridiculous fees and I never got it.$50 order.
This is my second time ordering through GrubHub and it will now be my last! I placed a simple order with 3 items today and my evil driver never delivered it. I immediately got in contact with customer care and they informed me they could refund me but not do a reorder or give any coupons. Enraged I told them that I never experience this with any other food delivery companies I am always given the option to reorder and receive a coupon. But no, GrubHub is to cheap. They need to do a better job in their hiring process, my driver lied and told customer care that she did come up to my door and knocked and called but she claimed I never answered. Lies! Her story is even worse because while she was driving to my house I texted her and gave her directions to leave my food on my front porch. She completely failed to do this. I asked customers care if they could track her gps and see if she ever even came but they did not have the power to do that. Despite my bad experience they still said no to coupons or redelivery. I don't know why they couldn't give me any damn coupons or a reorder.
I now know only order with DoorDash or Caviar $#*! the bull$#*! from this company
Food comes late and cold a lot. I waited an hour and a half for an order then they called me and cancelled my order. I haven't been refunded for a few cold meals. I'm not using them anymore.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Terrible, terrible, terrible experience! I ordered breakfast and was delivered someone else's breakfast after waiting an hour for a promised "35 minute" delivery... I call the delivery driver who tells me there's NOTHING he can do! So I contact customer service who refers to me as a "sir" when I clearly have a females name! They tell me there's NOTHING they can do but refund my money which will not be back in my bank until "5 days" from the order day! But they wanted me to spend another $49.00 to reorder the food! The agent couldn't help me, the manager couldn't help me... and just brushed everything off like it was no big deal! DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUB HUB! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND TELL YOU TO SHOVE IT UP YOUR A$$ AFTERWARDS!
I order a very simple order and it's now going on an hour and a half and it's still not here. Customer service was okay... I received a coupon for next time... that's funny.
They got me my wrong order and never gave me my refund. I called for about 3 to 4 weeks and they said it's coming but my bank said they don't see anything there
Guy delivered I asked him who's delivery was and he said a different name so I waited 30 minutes in the lobby at Saint Joe's in Ann Arbor when overlooked it was ours that guy was f****** Dent I was f****** Dent and Leo's Coney and epsilanti sucks
GrubHub is terrible, they say they will hire you then you try to log in and can't. The app is a joke and their call center is worse. They hire inexperienced people without training.
The driver picked up our food the went to another food establishment and waited 20 min for that order. He then delivered that order first. Our cold food was delivered 39 min after being picked up.
Will never use again. Ordered $100 worth of food and was supposed to receive a free gallon of tea. Didn't get the tea and when I called grubHub, I was offered a discount on my next order. I told them this was not sufficient as I had people waiting to eat and we needed the tea. The grubHub girl said she would call me back. Two hours later and no call. I called the restaurant and they stated they told grubHub they would give us two gallons and asked for the driver to go back. Needless to say, they didn't go back nor have the decency to call me and let me know.
I call to talk to a supervisor and have to explain the whole situation to the person who answers the phone. I then get put on hold for over 10 minutes and had to put them on hold to handle a work issue; however, we have music on hold so they knew I had not hung up. Yet, they hung up on me.
I called back and they said they do not redeliver missing orders. What a crock of BS. The missing order was THEIR fault but they won't deliver it?
After waiting for my food for about an hour, I checked for the email that Yelp told me I would receive. I never got any emails. So I clicked the button that said to contact Eat24 about my order. Chatted with a customer service person who said there was no order listed under my email or phone number. She told me I should place the order again. However, I checked my credit card and already had the order pending. She assured me it would be dropped, but I didn't trust that. I asked why I wasn't notified that something went wrong with the order. She just kept saying that the order never came through so they did not know about it (yet they were able to charge my card) and TWICE she blamed me for the order not processing. Told me that while I was placing the order, something didn't connect and that I might have clicked the back button while it was processing. I still had the "Thank you for your order" page up on Yelp. I KNOW I did not do anything to mess up the order. I was very upset and will never use this company again.
We placed our first and last order with Grub Hub. Ordered a dozen doughnuts for National Donut Day at work. The order came with 9 in it and 4 of them were not what we ordered. Turns out, one of them was complimentary because it is donut day. So, technically we got 8 that we paid for. We never were told they were out of some or they were just putting in what they wanted at the Donut Man. When I called to ask about how Grub Hub works and why no one called or what and I was told they would give a credit on 1 donut. At this point it is not about one donut credit. It is about ordering a dozen, getting 9 and 4 of the wrong kind. They would not do anything to make it right except the credit for a donut and a 7$ credit towards our next purchase with them. Well, there will not be a next purchase with them, as there way of doing business is crooked. So, needless to say, nothing was corrected. Do not order from them unless you are ok with them not correcting anything unless there is a problem. Ended up paying 39$ for 9 donuts plus the 10$ tip the driver was given. Grub Hub, you suck!

My review is not a a customer but as a Restaurant. Grubhub charges us 20.00% Commission on Online delivery orders, 20% on Online Pickup orders and 10% Delivery Commission. ON top of these OUT OF CONTROL COMMISSION PERCENTAGE.(Is the wild, wild west with commissions. Government should put a ceiling on all these). On top of the exorbitant commission Grubhub gives you a statement for all the activity for a month and the deposits to your account. You check your bank and NO. DEPOSIT NOT THERE. 2 MONTHS finally a part there and 1/2 of the deposit missing. You call-chat customer care and 7 or 8 people "chatting" and nobody resolves the issue. Horrible Grubhub! If Grubhub charges all these fees. Makes the Restaurant look bad and no contact, no customer care. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY POORLY TRAINED.
We ordered through Eat24 at 7pm... It is now after 9pm EST... We used the online check on the "Order Status Chat" & they said the Driver was on their way and we should receive our order in a few minutes... after another 30 minutes went back to the "Order Status Chat" & was told that the restaurant misplaced the order... This is the 2nd time they have f2<*! Up an order... WILL NEVER USE EAT24 AGAIN!
On two different occassions they said my order was delayed, then nothing was delivered. Then blamed the restaurant.
If you are hungry don't rely on this company.
I spent $82 dollar on an order through grub hub for PF Changs on a Friday night. Typically PF Changs delivery on Fri/Sat nights takes 90 minutes - 2.5 hours, they 'apparently' delivered within 45 minutes. I was with 5 feet of my front door, I have 4 dogs that alert me whenever someone approaches, and there were multiple other people at home. NO ONE WAS AT MY DOOR... I GUARANTEE THAT! They emailed me... EMAILED ME, to say they were attempting a delivery. I don't check my email every 5 minutes do you? When 3 hours rolls around I get worried, check GrubHub site and my account says nothing so I check my email... 2 hours ago they say they attempted delivery. I call the customer service like and after 15 minutes of back and forth and holding for each tier of people they will only cover $50 of my $82 order. For a delivery that never came!
Grubhub... I order from you weekly for work and home... you've just guaranteed I will be using Ubereats, Doordash and any other non-grubhub food service from now on. My $32 you decided to not honor back to me cost you $100 a month! BYE!
