Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

If I could leave no stars I would rate grubhub a zero! I placed an order@ 8 for a resterant that closed@ 9. I was givein a confirmation & an estimated time of arrival for 8:52pm as I waited outside the clock kept ticking 9:12... 9:32 & I get a call from the driver name is unknown bec he didnt share it. He said the resterant is closed so I'm unable to pick up your order. I asked was it bec you were late? He said the order is canceled & you will get refunded. So due to the driver being late it is now 9:45 pm and I'm writing a review bec we are with out food after paying for a service. If we do get refunded in not sure how long it will take. For the inconvenience Grub hub shared a 10% off next order & called it a day. IG lymekhaleesi thats who was left with the craving & an empty atomic. Sometimes when you have a chronic illness you may only eat one meal a day. & when vegetable fried rice is the only meal its extreamly important to get bec you never know when the next craving is going to be! Beyond disappointed!
Never got my order and they never wanted to put my money back in my debit card, I will never use this app again, horrible customer service
We waited 2 hours to have food delivered. The restaurant called us after an hour to day the food had been ready but the driver never showed.

Please don't tip your driver with u credit card they don't get that money they use it as their hourly pay if you want to tip them tip them cash
Grubhub is getting worse! How is that possible? From the very high fees to the poor management of the driver's expected arrival times, it is time to go to other delivery services like Caviar, Postmates, UberEats, Door Dash, and others in Los Angeles for our food deliveries! For two nights in a row, we received cold food. The expected delivery times were extended by more than 30 minutes to an hour after the order was placed. When calling the restaurants, they say they weren't told to adjust the food prep time to make sure that the food is hot when it arrives. They get the order, they make the food. But then Grubhub adjusts the delivery time because the assigned driver can't pick it up on time, now the food just sits and gets cold. Most of us don't like cold burritos or burgers.
When contacting Grubhub chat (long hold times because too many people are dealing with the poor delivery service Grubhub provides) it took waiting 10+ minutes, only to hear, "you cannot get a refund" because their chat employees don't have that authority, so you'll have to wait even longer to be passed on to chat with a supervisor. Try to call, the hold times are very long, more than 25 minutes to get to a rep. When I finally did get through, she offered a 20% discount coupon just like the chat rep. I said I can't eat a coupon and the coupon won't warm up my cold burger. I told her I wanted a refund. When she told me she only had a coupon to offer, I said "absolutely not" please let me speak with a supervisor. Then she immediately refunded the entire purchase of $55 for two burgers! RIGHT? The cost of delivery is expensive and you would think that a delivery company charging so much (10% or more as and admin fee of each order) would do a better job to manage logistics, making sure that drivers stay on time or the order is postponed BEFORE being prepared!
Unfortunately, this is the new normal at Grubhub. If you like 30-60 minute unexpected delays on top of the already scheduled delivery time, and you really appreciate cold food, (I guess I should be ordering salads) then Grubhub is the delivery service for you! It is no longer for us!
When watching grubhub commercials I puke. The commercials need to change. They are racist, no white person in commercials.
Terrible experience and it will be my last, thank goddness the restaurant we like is not far and another delivery service picks up from there also. I placed an order for lunch which included a $7 order of Mongolian Beef I requested for mushrooms to be added. Along with that I ordered over $50 of other food. This was not my first order from the restaurant or eat24, however it is the first time that I ordered lunch or that I received a call from customer service telling me that it would be an additional $3 for mushrooms on a $7 item. I asked them to keep the mushrooms (that is crazy, a 43% markup for mushrooms no thanks). Then the girl had the audacity to ask me how I planned to tip the driver because "according to my account I have never tipped the drivers". That is when I nearly lost it on this girl who called me. First of all I always tip in cash so that the driver actually gets the money so her looking at her computer screen and seeing my transaction history of payments means diddly squat when it comes to tipping anyone what it should have shown her is that I have ordered multiple times from them and that I have established a history of becoming a repeat customer, not badgering me about $3 for mushrooms on a $7 order and definitely not how I planned to tip the driver. This was the last time I would be ordering. Actually the time before was the last time I ordered successfully because at that point I cancelled the entire order and told her no need to worry about the tip for the driver but I had a tip for her that she find a job where she doesn't work with customers because she is a liability to anyone who has her representing their business.
GrubHub delivery from Alibaba took two hours and the food was soggy and cold. The poor ratings are well-deserved.
They cancelled my order and told me I had to wait 2 to 3 business days for my refund! I don't even know why they cancelled it. That's very shady.

They do NOT check orders and will not re-deliver. So if you are hungry and they left some of your order at the restaurant you will go to bed hungry!
