“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

The minimum amount of $ you have to order can be a waste, especially if your ordering for one person. I would rather just pay the difference than be forced to order extra food that i'm going to throw away...

Don't waste your time with this company. I ordered a meal for delivery, went through the entire process, verified my address and my food never came. I used their chat line and they tried to tell me the order was for pickup. Who the hell would use a middle man to go pick up food. If I wanted to pick it up, I would have called the restaurant directly. Do yourself a favor and used uber eats or food dudes.

Grubhub is a godsend on busy nights (or lazy nights). Never had a bad experience and I've used them many times! I live in Tempe now, but used to live in the Chicago suburbs and have used grubhub in both locations with nothing but great service! Love that they give you little status/time updates for your order. Great service! Thanks grub hub!

They don't care anymore. I was issued a well-deserved credit.

Then I got sick. Called back today (3 days after the expiration date) and I was slammed back by Amanda W. A "customer service" manager. Said I was 3 days late because it was 30-day credit. Bunk. These folks are no longer customer service oriented. I've ordered via GH at least 50 times over the last few years. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH GH. I'm here on sitejabber.com to find a replacement for Grubhub.

I placed my first order today (Bellevue, WA) and unfortunately, it didn't go well. I received an email and text confirming that my order was ready and my credit card was billed. When I arrived at the restaurant, no one knew anything about my order and they didn't even have the type of soup that was offered as an option via Grubhub. I contacted customer service and they did respond quickly to refund my charge, which was appreciated. However, they blamed the issue on a "system glitch" with no offer to look into it further to prevent it this from happening again. The whole experience was a big inconvenience - and accounted for at least 30 min of my time and most of my lunch break. It would have been nice if they would have offered to comp a meal for me to give them another try. I won't be doing that now. Don't waste your time.

I have ordered from grubhub several times and have always had a good experience thus far. Today I ordered from A restaurant waited for an hour and come to find out they just decided to cancel my order. So now not only am I starving and have to find another place to eat but I'm charged the amount and don't get my refund for 5 days. This is ridiculous! You can't not charge someone if they did not receive the item or service. They need to fix it so you are charged at the time of receiving the order so you don't have to go through a refund process for nothing!

You have the choice of getting contact-less drop off, where the delivery person just rings your doorbell and leaves it in your door step or for them to ring and hand it to you. I chose the hand if to me, but the guy just rang the bell and split! The order was totally wrong. The restaurant (Lemonade) put a note in the bag saying that they didn't have what I ordered so they just took it upon themselves to substitute whatever they wanted. And the one thing that they did get right was a watery container of meat with no meat in it. Just juice. I'll never use GrubHub or Lemonade again!

First of all, I was tracking my order, and before she even got to my apartment complex, she had said she had delivered it already. I saw her pull up, we made eye contact. She decided to leave out food, outside in the snow, and drove off. And she had forgotten one of our drinks. The audacity.

I signed up, placed my order to be ready on my lunch hour and received an email saying my order was cancelled without a reason 45 minutes after placing the order. I contacted live chat who told me the order was cancelled because the restaurant's volume was too high, then support emailed to tell me the order was cancelled because the restaurant was closed for renovations. When I asked which one of them was telling the lie, I received no response at all. After waiting 24 hours, I sent another reply letting them know if they still wanted my business they would need to reply. Still nothing. Don't waste your time and money when there are plenty of other options to use. Go with Uber Eats - you can tip AFTER receiving your order.

Today me and my friend placed a reorder for some food we had ordered before. Upon delivery our order was completely wrong. We called the restaurant and they told us call eat 24. We call eat24 and they advise that it may have been a glitch however they will not be taking fault for it and only offered a $2 or $5 discount. I feel since this is something that was at fault of their system not properly working they should have taken care of the order and ordered me my proper order to replace. Why should I only get a $5 discount when I paid full price and your system ordered it wrong. I will no longer order from eat24 and I will make this very clear to many organizations, clubs and social media outlets!

Shame on eat24

I order 3 bigger plates from Panda Express and 3 sodas under Grubhub websites. When the delivery guy came, it was only 2 plates and 4 sodas. I called the pander express thinking it was their fault but they said no it's not their problem. This is my first time using Grubhub and will be my last.

Never order food under their website

As a loyal customer I will not be ordering from your company again. I feel as though your company does not display customer satisfaction. I placed an order last night which never arrived to my residence. I am utterly disappointed. The driver stole my food that I paid for and I was left hungry. On top of that Grubhub did not issue a full refund. Instead there was coupons offered to me in which I had to pay additional money to use. I do not appreciate your service and I will be placing a bad review on your behalf. I will not recommend Grubhub to any of my family, friends, or Colleagues

Grubhub.com proved to be an incompetent business. They charged my credit card for food that was never delivered. When I contacted them about THEIR OWN mistake, they told me that they refunded my money to the bank and I would have to wait the entire weekend for it to be reimbursed back to my account. I do not know why they would have charged my account if they were not able to provide the product. I was also treated with disrespect from their customer service department. I will NEVER use this company again because they are frauds.

Never trying this horrible service. Literally added an hour and a half to my order with no empathy with the customer rep whatsoever. Never using this piece of s. Service ever. Will not recommend to friends and family. In fact, I'll make sure they delete the app.

Coppelia + Grubhub = Incompetence defined. After charging and confirming my order both via app and text, missing the delivery window they estimated and then delaying delivery by another half hour, an hour after the food was originally to arrive, I message Grubhub to be told the restaurant that accepted, charged and confirmed the order was not even open and never got my order - so why program the app to accept orders and lie about food being on the way, twice?!?! Customers beware of incompetence by both brands.

Never used Grubhub and I don't typically ever order delivery but here I am sick and congested and I just really want something spicy.

Placed an order at 12:39. The place is 3 miles away. Estimated delivery is 2:28-2:38. In no way should it take more than an hour to cook the food, dispatch a driver to the restaurant and bring me my food.

Since I can't write a review without assigning stars, I had to give them a one star. I wanted dinner delivered to my mother, a octogenarian widow, for Mother's Day. At the time the delivery was supposed to be at her house, I received a text saying it would be delayed an hour and forty minutes. Knowing that the restaurant would be closed prior to that time, I called the restaurant (that was getting ready to close), and they told me the driver was a no-show, so they had not made the food. Knowing this makes me wonder where in the heck the food was going to come from an hour and forty minutes later. I had already been charged on my credit card for the food and delivery, so had to call GrubHub for the cancellation and refund. While on the phone, the GrubHub rep said she would like to make it up to me by giving me a trial subscription for free delivery! Say what? Ridiculous. I'll never use GrubHub again and will make sure I post my review it everywhere I can!

The order never got delivered. When I called customer service they mentioned that the driver was waiting for 12 mins outside. Why would he not ring the door bell or call? They charged my credit card and refused to refund the charge. Probably the driver just sat outside and ate my pizza.

The customer service representative was very rude and was of zero help. When I asked them to be transferred to their supervisor he transferred me to an automated system to provide my feedback on "On a scale of 1-5, how likely i would order again on grub hub?" Worst service!

Never got the pizza and my card was also charged.

How can 'eat'24 still be in business? Ordered food through Yelp. 2 hours pass and no delivery, no phone call, no email, no text. Contacted 'support' through the web. Waited 10 minutes through their 'chat' only to be told that all orders through Yelp got cancelled. You can't send out an email saying the order was cancelled? Will never use Yelp or 'eat'24 again.

Hi, after placing my order I see that there is an up-charge using this site! One of my items was $2.00 more and the other was $1.00 more than on the restaurant's menu found on Yelp. I feel that I was taken, not a good feeling! Luckily I had a $5 coupon that off set the price difference but I see no reason to use your this site if it is going to cost more than calling and ordering from the restaurant going forward. Not cool Grub Hub!

Within a matter of minutes of ordering and receiving a text about my order I received another one that it would be delayed. By the time they delivered it they woke me up and obviously the food was cold and soggy. I can't find a way to actually write a review on GrubHub. I think the reviews are pretty much falsified. Don't use GrubHub!

1st I ordered BK. It said 30-40 min wait. After waiting 20 minutes i get a notification saying it will take another 40 minutes. My lunch was over before they delivered and I didn't get a chance to eat. Now today I ordered kfc. After 20 minutes of waiting I get a notification saying my order was cancelled with no explanation why. Now i don't have enough time to go pick up food and I'm sitting here with my thumb up my $#*!. Isn't grubhub supposed to help keep you full? Well they kept me hungry more than once. You had one job.

The last couple times I have ordered from grubhub have been horrible.
They automatically cancelled a couple orders, with no notification.
Late delivery.
My biggest beef with both grubhub and doordash is that they now also add on a service fee.
My $20 bucket of KFC ended up being $30 plus tip. The service fee was more than the taxes.
If you need to add a service fee, that should be charged to the restaurant they contract with.
I won't be using grubhub any further.

I ordered days in advance for a big party today at work thru grubhub, to get popeyes. Well it said the driver picked up the food and was on their way. 5 mins before they were supposed to deliver, I got a notification that my order was canceled! I called popeyes and the manager said she just picked up my order.i then called grubhub customer service and she said according to her records my order was canceled with a full refund. Ok that's great but what happened to all that food for 20 people. She told me the order wasn't picked up from popeyes! WHAT?! So some shady crap just happened and that driver has $140 of free food! The customer lady just said sorry and that's it!

The last 5 times I've ordered through GrubHub the driver never notified me that my order was delivered, not through the app, not a text, not a knock on my door and the food sat outside getting cold. I even tried selecting "not contact free delivery" to see if that would force the driver to at least knock but no such luck, not to mention they charge you extra for not using "contact free delivery" and won't refund it to you if call to complain
