Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
This has never happened to me with Doordash. No notification or picture of food delivery. Half of my food order was missing. No answer when I called driver. I texted immediately about my order. I was told through text to let customer service know so they can issue refund. There is no customer service on their app or phone number so I called the restaurant. Manager got on the phone and said that he prepared my order and know that my order was fulfilled. I told him driver's name who was supposed to pick up my order. Manager said a woman picked up my food order (not a male) and believes that driver took half of my food order. This food delivery service is the worst! I will not order from Grubhub again.
Picked up my order and delivered it an hour later. Driver waited at another restaurant to pick up another order while my food got cold. Food was cold and inedible. Delivered 40 minutes later than end of the promised delivery window. Will never use these people again. San Francisco experience, just horrible.
I've used Grubhub for years and they were always very good and there were never issues with my order. HOWEVER, within the past 5 months, I have ordered maybe 18 times (for myself and other friends) and 10 out of the 18 times, the ETA was pushed back at least an hour. 8 out of the 18 had been cancelled due to the order "not being able to be picked up and delivered" and the other 2 times the driver made off with my food - I watched them drive to a separate location and cancel my order. Grubhub did nothing about it and would not refund me back my money.
I don't know why, but this company has gone to complete $#*!. I don't know why I've continued to order but right now I'm waiting on an order that was supposed to be delivered 2 hours ago and it hasn't been picked up, and Grubhub refuses again to do anything about it.

Had a driver tonight decide to cuss me out and accuse me of faking a disability because I asked him to bring my food to the top of the stairs so I wouldn't have to put on my leg brace and hobble my way down. Trust me, dude, if I didn't have this issue, I'd be walking to pick up my food myself instead of paying a premium to get it from jerks like you. Enjoy your $10 tip I guess...
We usually order via Foodler and have had no issues. Unfortunately Foodler has been acquired by Grubhub and now all orders are through GrubHub. We ordered this evening and got an email an hour later saying our order was cancelled. Reason was not clear. Overall a waste of time.
I placed an order and it was cancelled. The next day i placed another order with the same restaurant and all went well. However, when i received my charge bill there was two charges so i reached out to Grubhub to dispute the one charge and they told me it had to be done within 24 hrs. I explained how would i know i was charged twice until i received my credit card bill. They said that was the policy and offered no resolution.
Last night I order KFC through Grubhub. They promised the order would be delivered within 20 to 25 min. I never received the order. The driver blamed his GPS and after issuing a $7.00 credit ( on a $22.00 order) I could not reach customer service. Horrible service and experience! Never again.
I received gift cards through my college to get through my required hotel quarantine, and 2 orders were cancelled. I was supposed to receive two refunds, but GrubHub kept telling me that they had confirmation that the orders were refunded. I did the math on my side multiple times, but they refused to double check the discrepancies. I spent hours on the phone and online with customer support, only for them to give me a $25 gift card even though I lost more than that amount. I spent time I could have used doing homework and studying, but instead fought with multiple customer service employees. GrubHub is sleazy at best, and I'm quite honestly shocked that I haven't popped a blood vessel due to their horrendous customer service.

Grubhub doesn't care about their drivers. I delivered 2 orders to the given address. I was harassed in both instances. One lady was yelling so loud at me that I was shaking and scared. I put in 2 harassment reports. My driver account was put on hold for 48 hours and I was not able to schedule myself in for shifts for the following week. I have been greatly impacted by this. Grubhub has no safety measures set up for harassment. I no longer feel like Grubhub cares about all of the hard work I put in for them. They only care if the customer received their food or not. I would not recommend using Grubhub as a customer or driver. Bad business ethics..
I GrubHub drivers calling me and when I don't answer they just leave with my food. Or, they call and then when they get to my front porch they bang with their fist on my door and ring the doorbell repeatedly. All I get from GrubHub when I call to complain is that I should put something in special instructions. But, that never works because no one reads it, apparently. There's another service in my town, although they charge a lot for delivery. But GrubHub is not worth the aggravation. And, they treat their employees lousy as well.
I planned on ordering taco bell for delivery. They are advertising "free" delivery for taco bell. When I added all items to my cart, I was beyond shock to see the total price over $67. Yes, this included a "free" delivery. However, looking at the taxes, I was being charged over $10 on taxes. So I switched over to taco bell's online ordering, and plug in the same exact order. Guess how much my order was on their website, only $48. Taxes were only $3. So this "free" delivery they are advertising on grubhub is not free. All they did was move the delivery fee over to taxes so they can still get paid for a delivery fee. The other additional funds was the driver's tip at over $11. But after seeing the total for "taxes", how much of that $11 really goes to the driver? I rather give them cash anyways. So no thank you. This would have been my first time using grubhub and now I never will. What a scum of a company.
I have multiple screen shots of my order on THEIR app. They were supposed to credit my account for a order they cancelled. I talked to two different people and they both told me they cannot find my order. I sent the screen shots and they continued to say there's no such order. Funny that it's on my end. The last rep just left the chat without listening to me. I'm a manager, i would NEVER let my employees treat costumers the way i was treated. I'll seriously use doordash for everything. Disgusted with this service.
Most of the time that I've ordered from them, I've watched on the app as the driver will pick up my order, drive to the other side of town to pick up another order, then driver several more miles away to drop off/pick up another order, before delivering my cold, inedible, over priced food. When I reach out to their Customer Service, all they will offer is a $5 credit towards your next cold, disappointing waste of money.
I have attempted to use Grub Hub twice now and both times the driver who picked up my order has not been able to come onto a military installation. It was the same driver both times. When the representative on the phone spoke with me she was rude both times and so was the manager. Today she even hung up on me after I repeatedly asked for a manager! When I requested for this specific driver to be blocked from picking up my orders to avoid the issue in the first place, I was told there is no way to do that. This company has no respect for their customers and their time or money. Their system is flawed and no fix is in sight. Their customer service team is by far the rudest bunch of foreigners I have ever dealt with!
I have never had a problem with GrubHub food or delivery.
The website, however, is painful: search & filter options are pathetic. I cannot filter or even sort by delivery cost. If I search for Asian food, Popeyes, Pasqually's Pizza & Wings & KFC are on page one. I am working in a strict company budget, but there is no way to filter menus by budget. Every week I scroll through pages of restaurants who are outside my budget or not what I am looking for.

I was not able to give negative remarks to this worst food delivery service around new york and new jersey, orders are never delivered to the address several of my friends and I have faced the same problem.
After in order my meal it was delivered to the wrong address their solution was just to credit me back after sitting on hold for nearly a half an hour and they would not replace the order. Or find out which house it was delivered to you so we could possibly get the order. I would use Uber eats or other food delivery services never and I mean never use GrubHub!
Grub hub has extremely slow turn time to respond to emails and the responses from their customer service team are very unhelpful. You wait 2-3 days and they don't address your issue! I also called in and the customer service rep kept me on the phone for 21 minutes, didn't help me and then i asked to be transferred to a manager because she said she didn't have enough authority to help me, when the manager took my call she immediately said just send an email to customer service we can't help you. So i wanted 21 minutes to be told to send an email. They don't seem to have a "can do" attitude there. They seem to pass the buck, make mistakes and don't really seem to care about the customer's experience. I would recommend Doordash or Caviar both have been great.
This app needs to be shut down. Cant get anything right with the companies they are partnered with. Hours are wrong, nothing linked to the actual business. Called the restaurant, and they told me everything on GrubHub about them is 100% wrong. DO NOT do business with anyone who has GrubHub as their delivery app.
I cant even cancel my order on their app. I am on hold (for 30 minutes now) waiting to get my order cancelled, because GrubHub is a joke.
In the last month I've tried using this service three times. Once, my food never arrived. The second time my driver got lost and I could never get a hold of them after specifying directions on the phone twice. The third, their 'grubhub' card didn't work at the restaurant even though the restaurant specifically asked me to use the service. Each time I've had to contact Grubhub customer service to be refunded in which it took 10-14 days each time to have it come through. NEVER use this service. If I could rate less than 0 I would.
Terrible experience all around, I won't be using them again. They cancelled my first order without explanation and the second order was almost 90 min late. I messaged them asking for status and they sent me a message in error of the driver talking badly about the restaurant. The driver then made me come down and wait outside to get my order and didn't even get out of the car, just rolled down the window. What a bizarre experience!
I'd give negative stars if I could. I've ordered with them twice and both times they screwed up. The first time the driver forgot our drink, and the second they changed the total I was charged. A $10 off coupon was applied at checkout, and it showed my total for me to confirm, but when I clicked Placed the Order the total changed and the coupon was not applied. Both times customer service was a joke. Never had any problems with Uber Eats. I'll stick with them from now on.
I ordered from panda and panda got my order wrong. I'm unable to go to panda myself because of this virus going on right now, so I contacted grub hub for a refund & they only gave me a partial refund even though my whole order was wrong. The customer service rep was very insensitive of the situation and kept rushing off the chat! I feel very frustrated with this company.

First time using GrubHub... and will never do it again. Ordered with a promise of 35 min delivery. IMMEDIATELY after placing the order, it said 60 minutes. Ordered using paypal, they charged me through Apple pay (a different card for me). About 40 minutes into my 60 min wait... I realized this and called customer service. They said they would refund the order and made it sound as if I was gonna get a freebie. Then I got a text saying the order had been cancelled while still on the phone with them. I objected and said I didn't want to cancel the order and wait all over again. She said it was all she could do. I told her she could have at least asked and explained before cancelling. She then had a bit of an attitude about how I should have known. Never again.
They took over two hours to deliver my food. Actually I got tired of waiting so I cancelled. Who knows how much longer it would have taken. When I called the customer service number the guy lied to me and said the delivery guy was picking it up and on his way to my place. Thirty minutes later when I called the restaurant they said nobody has picked up my order yet. This service has gone way downhill the last year. I'm never using it again.
