“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

My son was in the hospital with a kidney disease at children's mercy in north kc. Put my order in on the app. The expected wait time a little over an hour. 3 hours later my order was canceled via email making it to late to go and get any food for me and my wife. Will never use your service again. As far as I'm concerned I could have drove to my home an hour and a half away made sandwiches then drove back having better results than this company that is TRYING to be convenient.

Grubhub was at the very least extremely slow today. Maybe it's because it's Christmas Eve, but I'm still going to give a rather low rating. Today, I ordered from a restaurant 10 minutes away from my home, I didn't have any cash on me so I figured ordering online was the second best option. I understand being delayed a little bit since it's the holidays, but getting my order almost 2 hours late? Nahhhh... The guy who delivered my order was very nice, but my food arrived cold. One of them was lukewarm and the other was just cold. Both were foods meant to be hot/warm.

I might give this another chance since this could just be me getting a bad experience the first time, but I still feel rather weary about this service. 2/10 would not recommend

Ordered from a close restaurant and was given an estimate of 70 minutes. Ok, it is Saturday Night I can see that. After almost 90 minutes I call Customer service. They state "the restaurant says it is leaving now and will be there in 20 minutes. But wait, it has been 20 minutes longer than your estimated time and the restaurant is 10 min away. That is when I was told in a sarcastic, rude tone "That is why we call it an estimate." Well I can tell you that CafeCurrier sure knows how long it will take. That is who I'm going through from this point on.

Don't waste your time or frustration level. There are too many of these services to put up with condescending people and horrible service.

I ordered Taco Cabana on GrubHub, and nearly 30 minutes later, I received a cancellation notice from GrubHub that says: The restaurant canceled because they're busier than usual and can't complete your order. The restaurant is open right now, I called. I don't understand why they're too "busy" for me, a paying customer, and "can't complete my order." The restaurant said that GrubHub didn't even contact them about the order. So what's really going on here? GrubHub always leaves me disappointed. I refuse to use them ever again for all of the cancellations and trouble they've caused me and my family. So, Favor picked up the order and didn't have any problems getting my order to me. Thanks, Favor!

Tip for consumers:
Use Favor; never use GrubHub.

Worst company EVER. Driver couldn't "find our house" yet I sent him an aerial view of the cross streets. 2 hrs and 15 min later, he completed the order and said "I told them the situation" of course, now I'm livid. I contacted customer service which was like communicating with a wall. Finally, after about 15 min of worthless chatter, they offered a full refund. By far the worst delivery service I've ever dealt with. Kick rocks. You suck

I had a coupon for Grubhub from a restaurant I'd tried once. Wasted half my lunch hour trying to get the lousy site to let me pay via PayPal. Total waste of time, too late to take time to drive to get the order if I could ever get the thing to work. Their customer service claimed there was no order up but their own site showed I had an order pending. Terrible waste of time and effort and no lunch today as a result. Avoid this even if you have a coupon "lure", the "convenience" of this site is lost by how inadequate it is for the task it is designed to fulfill.

I have used Grubhub for a long time. Ordered an hour ago check to see where the driver is. He's dropping off another order. My restaurant is 5 minutes away. I ordered because I'm sick and I didn't want to go out and get others sick. I get in touch with Grub hub. Their app even said he is late! They changed his arrival time and said he wasn't late! Then offer me 5 bucks! No thanks. Cancelled them and erased their app. Why should I wait for someone to drop off other orders when I ordered before these other people. I got zero help. I'll NEVER use them again. The agent was clueless and rude!

Wish there was an option for zero stars because Grubhub really earned that today. I had food made incorrectly and no sauce was given for my child so he refused to eat it and Grubhub said it's noy our problem. Talk to Denny's. Pass the buck. That is what's wrong with the world today. No accountability. No guilty conscience. I said that they would lose a customer because DoorDash IMMEDIATELY resolves issues electronically, never even requires a chat or phone call. They take accountability. I don't recommend Grubhub unless you like taking a gamble on your food

"Boss tells pro-Trump employees to resign." Time to teach the Elitist like Matt Maloney a lesson.

Use Grubhub as little as I can because the service sucks. Rather go pick-up my orders. Now I refuse to go to the restaurants that use Grubhub. In fact I will call all the restaurants I go to or get take-out from and if they use Grubhub I will no longer eat or order at/from their establishment. Please do the same.

I'm not in love with Trump, but the voters have spoken. Maloney is a dictator in this scenario. And he's free to be a dictator because it's his company. But this anti-Trump person is calling "hypocrisy" and believes he should pay in the marketplace for his narrow mindedness. Boycott Grubhub and it's clients! Did I mention the service sucks anyway.

Ordered online 8:30 pm, charged my credit card, promised 9:30 - 9:45 pm delivery arrival. 10pm No delivery, called 877 number, put on hold for about 5 minutes. Told they have to call to find out, they call back saying food can't be delivered since the place where I ordered food from doesn't have a driver or whatever... lame, lame, lame. We had to out and rush and get frozen food. This service is AWFUL do not patronize and let it go out of business quickly!

Due to mix up in the system my food showed up on the wrong day. They were graceful enough to cancel and issue a refund. You have proved to me(and hopefully others reading this) that you resolve issues when they arise. It's easy to be nice when things are going according to plan, but how you handle problems sets the bar.
Today was my third order and I will go through you each time, guaranteed.

FYI Eight homeless people in North Dallas enjoyed the meals that were incorrectly sent.

Complete joke and rip-off. It seems they charge a substantial amount higher than the restaurants they deliver for...seems odd especially when items are different prices depending on if you use Buffalo Wild Wings or the "two other restaurants" they offer that are exactly the same as BWW. It all comes out of the same kitchen with the same ingredients...why would there be three different prices then? Nothing but a comple scam as always. Complete waste of my time even writing this. That's how horribly I feel about this business. I am a chef by the way so I understand the business. What a FN joke!

They totally screwed up my very first order- didn't get one of the dishes I ordered, and I had yo harass them for a refund. My second- and now absolutely the last- order they charged me for immediately but come to find out, the order was never placed according to their records! They couldn't refund my money right away- because of course not! But said someone will call me back within 24 hours. I've never had these problems with Doordash, and their fees are lower. I'll never use Grubhub ever again if this is what their business is always like.

You're better off just picking up your food. A $10 item turns into close to $30 (If you tip the driver well). Then you risk receiving either someone else's order, or discover that your $#*! is wrong, and or, your missing items. It's too much of a convenience to get overcharged, only to get $#*!ed. I'll just drive a few miles to get my food just for the piece of mind that my $#*! is correct, and all accounted for.

The delivery driver did not answer my phone call the customer service proceeded to make me wait another 40 minutes for our delivery, then the driver Harris called 2 minutes before the second delivery time and said they gave him the wrong address and that his phone was going to die so he wasn't going to be able to deliver our dinner. He said what's the big deal you can just cancel. I will never use this horrible service again. Everyone was extremely rude. I could see the driver got to HOA location and was sitting there for over 40 minutes before he even called me. Probably enjoying my diner. Worst service ever!'! Nothing good to say about them at all

I have used grub hub at least 7 times. In out of that 7 times I've only received my order 4 times. Most of the time my order is wrong items are left out. Tonight I thought I'd give them one more chance my orders didn't go through to Burger King and they canceled it without my knowledge. This information was not transmitted to me until an hour later.

Grubhub has mixed reviews when it comes to people ordering through them. AS far as business owners such as myself they have extremely poor customer service. A manager is never around, they dont give 24hour live support which some businesses need and we were initially told. They have raised our rates sky high and lowered their quality of service to the restaurant owners overall. Their software is very poor and they care very little to help on improving it. They make a point to show up on any search of course but they fail on quality by far. Their volume of users forces restaurants to accept them but none are happy with Grubhub/Seamless. Please Support your local restaurants and order directly through them

We tried these. Guys several times, and we are going to use.our local guys. Incapable of transmitting a correct order or being on time. Rude employees. This is food delivery, it shoukd not be this difficult

This company has such awful customer service. They have no clue that restaurants are not accepting orders from them take your money then try and offer 20 dollar discount... they took money from and elderly woman... made her wait an hour for her order then lied and said the restaurant was closed. When I called the restaurant said we are opened. And oh grub hub will refund the 70 dollars in a week. What a crock of nonsense. The restaurant is santiagos in federal heights colorado.

The CEO's lack of respect for the recent 2016 presidential election and attack on employees who may have supported a certain candidate is discusting! Myself and my family have cancelled all future orders! Will not return!

I honestly wouldn't even give them one star. I set up and used my account one time months ago. My account was recently hacked from someone residing on the opposite coast. The representatives and supervisors I spoke with did nothing they said; no follow-through no emails, nothing! It is now over a week later, and I still heard nothing. Thank goodness I have a great bank who is investigating this. I am contacting my State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau as I have notes on each phone call I made and what I was told by each representative/ supervisor.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, and it wasn't even the right restaurant. Told them to redeliver fresh food since ours was still at the restaurant stone cold, they decided to just cancel the order. Worse service always from grubhub. Try to hire drivers that can actually communicate.

I ordered my first order for Grub Hub in Allentown/ over $100 in sushi. My driver was to call upon delivery, did not and said it was delivered. His name was Jonathan, when the restaurant tried to reach him, he wouldn't answer his phone! Pictured below be careful using these apps.

The Grubhub App is very easy to use. The costumer service people very nice and professional. Just wish the drivers the hired actually got the food at the original estimated delivery time instead of pushing the drop off time back two or three times. Food comes cold most of the time because of this. For the extra money you pay for the convenience of more leaving your house it would still be nice to eat a hot meal. Happens 4 out of 5 times of ordering. Other companies I've used hasn't given me as much issues. Just disappointed bc the company itself is great

I have ordered from this place twice and both times the food was cold and an hour late. Drivers aren't friendly either. I was curious to see how much a $6.00 lunch would be right up the street from my work and the final total told me $26! Safe to say I didn't order and will never use them again. $20 in fees to go less then one mile... What a joke.
