“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I ordered through them a few weeks ago and the food was delivered to the wrong address. They tried to go pick it up and bring it to me AFTER it had already been delivered to someone else. I thought I'd give them one more try. Ordered through them, and the driver picked up my food and then went the wrong direction. When the time was one minute before the delivery time, I got a text message extending the time by 20 minutes. They wanted to bring me food that was picked up 45 minutes earlier. No, thank you. They add the tip for the driver, but the drivers aren't doing what is necessary to deliver your food. Lesson learned. I won't use them again.

They're so unprofessional. I had a missing item in my order and they did nothing about it. In fact, they called saying that the restaurant manager was sure about my order and he packed it himself. Are you trying to say that I'm lying! Unbelievably rude.
BTW, they charged me extra fees for adding more ingredients to that missing item.

It was always sketchy but ok'ish when you're too exhausted to drive safely. Just got home from being at my Uncles hospital bedside for 3 days. Placed my order and after 35 mins wanted to make sure it was on its way. Nope, wouldn't arrive for another 40 mins at least and they were giving me 15% off. ONE minute later I get a call from them. Eat24 is removing the discount because my food is going to arrive on time! Within the 45-60 minute window? No! It was on time arriving in 40 more mins... BS! I said refund, refund me now, I don't do business with people that lie. No refund, I get another call, in the 20 seconds we were off the phone they called the restaurant and changed their mind again and were giving me 15% off, food was on its way. In 40 minutes. No, thank you... refund. I'm still waiting. The guy hung up on me. Horrible customer service.

Ordered Jersey Mike's on GrubHubs app. Prices were more than if I ordered from Jersey Mike's app. (Figured that's how they charge delivery). Order never arrived. Chatted with GrubHub who told me it was ordered as a pickup not delivery.
Was told I have to go pick up my food myself.
When I asked why I paid more on their site for each item, I was told that the restaurants set the prices.
Long story short, paid $10 more and did not get delivery. Hot sub was cold, cold subs got warm. Ate 90 minutes after placing the order.
1st time (and last time) customer.

I'm a bicycle courier in San Francisco and I just want everyone to know that they're still using your tips for my pay. Average GrubHub pay is $5 per delivery but for example if you tip $4 on the app than GrubHub will just add $1 to makeup for the $5 they've promised me up front.

So in other words, they subsidize. It's the same thing if you were a bartender and your boss told you that you will make $100 today. You end up making $80 in tips, so now your boss only has to give you 20 bucks to make up for the $100 he promised that you'll make.

My paid membership is good to 5/9/2020, grubhub cancel it on 4/27/2020. I chat with customer service twice and couldn't get this resolved. The agent told me that they have to take time to review it even though I provide the proof of my payment. It's been 1 week already and I didn't hear anything back from Grubhub. What is the point of buying membership? I paid for the membership but didn't get the service? And you have take 1 week to investigate and have no answers? I told the agent that I am an essential worker and I need to order diner for my kids. They don't even care... Scam...

DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB! Use a different company. Numerous times our orders have come wrong or even upside down. But today took the cake, I was having a bad day at work and decided to splurge. My order was marked as "delivered" but it never came. I contacted customer support and they stated they are unable to get a hold of the driver and they would refund me money but that it will take 5 days to get refunded. Meanwhile, it has been 2 hours, they have done nothing else, and I don't have lunch. Use Eat Street or a different delivery company. These guys obviously will hire anyone that walks in off the street and apparently the drivers don't care, they'll just leave with your food.

I ordered food at 9:00 PM and they said it will be delivered by 9:40-9:50 PM and already its 10:30 and I am still waiting for my food. Extremely poor service.

I tried to reach them on their website and through phone call and they do not respond. This was my first and probably the last time using their service.

Placed an order. Seemed ok. Added a drink to the order 2 mins later. Without any clear indication, they created a new order. Delivery was late. I received some food, and by the time I opened the bags, I realized they had duplicated the order. Tried calling customer service, but was on hold for more than 25minutes. Ended up chatting with a customer service agent online, who said it was my fault that I accepted both orders (even though I signed only for one).

Tip for consumers:
Don't use! Just call the restaurant directly, and you'll be better off.

Seriously terrible service... 2 1/2 hours to deliver food at a non peak time?
Restaurants you are going to get a bad rap if you keep using this service!
At one time Grub Hub might have been good - the company has dropped the ball!

Don't use if you want to eat anytime soon!

We have had about 12 orders from GrubHub which we had no problem with. We gave our address and the people delivered the food. Within the last five days we placed two orders with GrubHub. Both orders were not delivered to us. However, GrubHub reported them as delivered by the drivers. When I contacted GrubHub after a certain amount of discussion, they told me it was my fault because the driver tried to contact me. I was busy with things in my house which is the reason we ordered the food. What bothers me, is that I had several orders that were delivered just fine without any communication other than placing the order. GrubHub offered only a 25% concession to the money I had spent which is entirely unsatisfactory

The driver went by house according to map, then drove all over the town for an hour, still no food! I chatted and texted. They apologized, gave me 5.00 coupon but still no food another hour later. I cancelled the order after two hours.

On Sept 10 2020 I placed an order to Grubhub Carl's Jr. Ventura never received my order and also charged for my order over $20.75. Reached out e mailed over and over to Grubhub and they refused to email me back. Never received my refund I never received an order number as well. Something fishy here but yet charged me.

I can't even begin to tell you how awful dealing with them was. They never delivered our food. They charged us and then would not refund us our full amount. Thank goodness the restaurant was great and brought us a fresh order. They would not give us an answer when we asked who has our food! The restaurant is not happy either. Someone has our dinner that we paid for and it is not us. Please don't trust them. They are not trustworthy!

Horrible, corrupt business. When you look on line you think your dealing with Papa Murphy's, but your not.
Grub hub takes your order, credit card info, then doesn't place the order. You run around checking the other stores and nothing. So you go home hungry, and pissed!

Placed order for delivery at 11:17 Am, at 12:19 PM still nothing. Called restraunt and was told food was never picked up. You take the money pretty quick, but dont deliver. I will make sure to not make the mistake of using you again

Placed 3ed order in 2 weeks from same restaurant. The third and LAST order was picked up from the restaurant, after 1 hour and 15 min order was marked as delivered, but NEVER received. Attempted to call driver who's number was out of service. Grubhub stated they could not get ahold of the driver (There employee) and said I would receive a refund... 2 hours later. Still hungry worst customer service ever, account and app deleted.

Bad Service, Price markups, Inaccurate orders constantly
- they tell you that delivery is $0.00 for one year because you are amazon customer. But then they jack up service fees to make up the different. Tell me why does it cost $20 for simple burger /fries form fast food 1.5 miles away. If you go to the restaurant it only cost $10 and change with tax... Mandatory tip is also rip off and you get cold food

Signed up yesterday, 3 pages of restaurants to choose from; went to order tonight and only TWELVE to choose from! 5 of them had horrible reviews. Tried Chat help and your guy was very unhelpful.

Will never use GrubHub! DoorStep got the order and a nice tip.

I wish I could post my transcript of my conversation with their customer service reps. Not only are they all extremely untrained, but they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. This company sucks so bad, and the sad part is they used to be good. Use Doordash, Ubereats, or Postmates instead. All of them are FAR superior.

1st order and tried to apply the code. Did not work. Contacted customer care via chat option. Chat box kept closing and i had to get connected to another rep 4 times. Out of frustration contacted their customer support via phone. Talked to rep name Cesar C. Told him the situation and he kept asking the same question. I told him forget about it and hung-up and cursing at myself. He calls me back and starts swearing at me. Hope that punk gets fired.

Called their customer care for complaint about the situation and this lady (forget her name) helped me very well. I'd give her 5 stars but negative star to Cesar and grubhub with their defects in their web and the app.

This is one of the many so-called apps helping during Covid-19. They're not. Everything is late. I'm sure they're skimming off the drivers so I put a $0 tip and give them a tip in person. No customer service. You can write anything on their social sites and they'll never see it... try it. Getting a refund from them is near to impossible.
Update: Closed my account because of the poor customer service (not the drivers). They make closing your account painful! I think by the third call I lost my cool.

Tip for consumers:
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! It's simple. They're in it for the money and don't care about customer service, quality of service, the employees, nothing. You're wasting your time and money.

Products used:
I bought a sandwich two hours in advance. It took it three hours to get to me. McDonald's.
Update: they keep canceling orders. How do you make money here? Kind of the point to your app, is it not?

Waited over an hour on two separate occasions and food was never delivered. I was using a gift card and requested to please be refunded in cash after the second instance, but now I am stuck with gift cards to a service that I cannot depend on.

Matt Maloney, the company CEO, fired me after learning of my undocumented status. Later, as I was collecting my belongings from my office in a box he walked by and said "you lazy beaners are destroying my country, you have to go back." I was in disbelief. Do not support this company.

Threatening your employees jobs for voting for the opposite presidential candidate then you is a violation of their civil rights. And it's against everything our great country stands for.
You don't need their service, they are just the middle man. You can save yourself some money by calling the place directly.
