“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I ordered food for my family. The order took an hour to get our house. The ordered contained a 1/4 of what we ordered. I called customer service and they said sorry, we will refund your money in 7-10 business days and you can reorder your food tonight and we will deliver it to you for free. Completely inconvenient for my 2 kids and I. I would strongly recommend any other service than Grubhub. I would leave less than zero if there other options.

This was definitely a first for me! Never have I EVER received a food delivery strapped to the back of a motorcycle, and it arrived SO cold. I mean, and I wrong here? I was so surprised to see my pizza and garlic bread strapped on the back. No heat box or anything! How is this allowed?

Our selected restaurant is 5 minutes from the house. The driver picked up the order. Then Grubhub adjusted the delivery time to 31 minutes. They added other orders to ours and sent the driver to deliver the other orders first. We will NEVER use this company again! Note the time in the screenshot. And we still don't have the order!

I've ordered through them several times without incident. Their customer service has gone downhill. I see I am not the only one feeling this way based on the other reviews. I ordered through them and there was a problem with the order. They said they called the restaurant and they just sided with them. I guess they didn't believe I was missing items? Why would I waste time and call about that? Eat24 told me they would offer me a $3 credit on my next order if I ordered through them within 30 days. How generous of them. I will not be ordering through them again.

I made an order for food one hour and 16 minutes before the close of a restaurant which Grubhub and PayPal both accepted. I never received my order. After calling the restaurant, which had closed because I waited over an hour for my order to arrive, and then Grubhub the answer I received was completely unsatisfactory. They said it was a technicality in their process that made the timing of my order and the closing of the restaurant an "extraordinary" circumstance. While they did give me a refund I asked that customers be warned that they may not get their orders fulfilled because of this technicality, their response was "we do not possess the ubiquity to know everything." I said "but you know of this technicality!" They simply apologized and said they would not make a "system wide adjustment" (all I said was to "warn customers") because of my experience. It was a long drawn out conversation of deflection to which they would leave customers in a lurch.

Local restaurant delivers but when you try and get delivery online it says deliver is not available. So you do not get to take advantage of online deals and have to pay full price. False advertisement! Not even a 1 rating.

Do not use them to order food waited for the food for awhile call the food place it self and they told me they don't deliver well they never told me that threw the site just said about what time it should be here. Ask for a chat on site they never get back stay away from these idiots. Call the place your self they only relay your order to them they dont do anything else

My food was delivered over an hour late. This has happened 2 times in the last 3 weeks the last time I kept calling the customer service line because it seemed my order sat in the restaurant for a long time

Tip for consumers:
Keep them honest and call. The information given in the site is incorrect. Tell customer service you want a refund

I spoke to 4 different agents for help and they all were horrible. I ordered food at 3 and ETA was 530 because the driver was driving away from me and was over an hour away. They wouldn't help and would not get a closer driver for me. Grubhub is the absolute worst and I will never use them again

Bad customer service. When talking to them about a transaction for over an hour via text they couldn't find the transaction I complained about. Send them every piece of documentation they asked for and more. Still never got resolved.

I entered the details of my order into the online box checking interface and received the wrong order. Called customer service and they said that there is nothing they can do for me. I will not being using their service again.

I've used Grubhub a few times because it seems convenient. Well it isn't. They always mess up the order and forget things- no matter what restaurant we order from. Today when they forgot something they told us they couldn't send it back out, but that we could order it again. The refund will be in 3-5 business days and we can't order what they missed because it doesn't meet the delivery minimum. They are completely unhelpful and rude.

I use grub hub a lot. I don't mind the wait- they tell you how long it will take. But after 3 hours- the restaurant kept telling me food was on the way. I ordered at 5pm- it was finally cancelled by 8. Grub hub had the nerve to tell me they didn't have ingredients to fill my order. Total lie of the situation. And I guess I just don't appreciate the $5 gesture.

Driver drove off after saying my food was delivered and it was not. He was 30 minutes late and I approached him (matched the photo on the app) said he was not with Grubhub. Called customer service and would not refund me because he said it was delivered and offered me a 50 percent off my next order coupon. LOL why would I order from them again after being charged and no food delivered? Horrible customer service and had to dispute the charge through my bank. Waste of 2 hours of my life.

One night, the order arrived over 20 minutes late and had to be re-heated. They offered $8 to make up for it. This was never applied to my card nor to my account nor even to my next order. And the next order? I forgot to apply a promo code. I contacted customer service within 5 minutes of the order. They would not let me apply the code retroactively, nor would the cancel the order and let me re-order. I'm tired of them nickel and dime-ing me at every opportunity too. I'm done with them.

Tip for consumers:
Don't. There are better services out there. I won't ever use Grubhub again.

Products used:
One order for hot dogs from Weinerschnitzel, one for a pizza combo deal. While I have ordered from them many times in the past, these are the two that pushed me over the line of what I am willing to put up with.

We placed an order for cool hand lukes, the order came fairly quick but had no silverware to eat and missing half the order. When we called and let the guy know why we were calling he placed us on hold for over an hour never coming back on the line, then we were disconnected. No resolution offered! The worst service ever!

We ordered food over an hour ago and got curious when it didn't arrive. Decided to call GrubHub back and discovered that the order had been moved to be delivered tomorrow. Seriously? Why and when were we going to be informed?

I ordered through Grub hub for a pick up an hour early, got to the store and was told I would have to wait another 25 minutes for my order so I decided to order at a different restaurant up the street. There was no way to cancel my original order through the store or online and my credit card was charged for the original order. I called customer service and explained the situation. Although they did issue a refund for the order I didn't pick up I was told that they would refund this time but would be unable to refund in the future. Needless to say I will never order through them again. Nice way to run a business when I'm trying to support my local restaurants!

I received my food 1.5 hours after I ordered it. The restaurant is 1.5 miles away from my work. I would have gotten my food faster if I walked. Driver was not apologetic, and customer service on the phone (when I called to inquire where my food is) was not either. When there are so many excellent food delivery companies around, I can't believe I wasted my time with this one.

To funny! I had the same experience as the last reviewer on this site on Valentines Day. We ordered, our card was charged, two hours later... Nothing!

I called what was said to be the restaurant phone number thru the Eat24 App and to my surprise. It was not the restaurant. It was the delivery service, a girl named Emily. Emily was absolutely no help at all and really seemed to not care one way or the other about the problem...

So here was the problem... We ordered thru the Eat24 app, my card was charged and received confirmation thru email, waited for almost to hours (no food yet) I called the restaurant and they said my order was never received (but yet my card was charged). I mentioned this to the person at the restaurant and he said there was nothing he could do. Funny, that's what Emily said. I also messaged Eat24 thru their app. Nope... No response at all,

This was the second time this has happened with Eat24... Sorry, there are to many other services to continue to use Eat24

I ordered with grubhub and paid my money with card. And was told my order was in and its was coming then hour later they cancelled my order and said my money will be on my card in 5 business days. I didn't pay them in five days. There service is really bad. I will never order with them or tell anyone I know to order from them. They should take there service dow.

After waiting 50 minutes for our food, I saw driver was close and went outside to wait. When no one came I checked the site which said it had been delivered 5 minutes ago. I chatted with Grubhub agent who defaulted to crediting my account. Hungry, I asked them to contact the driver to determine where he left it. Driver could only remember he left it outside. Since I had been standing outside I knew it wasn' Within a block of my house. Outcome no food... but I can order and wait another hour and take a chance on a better driver.

I have been using Orderup app forever. So when l logged into it only to be told I had to now download Grubhub. I was annoyed but fine. I go through that process only to see that none of the places I ordered from on orderup are available on Grubhub. There were like 2 places to order from for breakfast on grubhub vs. the 20 I'd see on Orderup. I don't see what they were thinking. You acquire a company with more selection and customers than you have, pay all that money, but do not have the infrastructure to move the restaurants over to grubhub so as to not disrupt continuity too much from orderup and it's customers. Or at least wait until you have it together before shutting down orderup. Long story short, I downloaded uberEats and now that they allow tipping, I have been all about it.

After a 12 hr shift, then a 2 hr wait, i get a phone call canceling my order because restaurant closed. I called restaurant and they said my food had been waiting for almost an hour and the app showed that Tony was delivering! Super frustrating!

Besides the fact I never like grub Hub And thought they were annoying deal with I will never support or give my buisness to grub hub again! You don't take your political views to dismiss and insult half the country that did vote for our president!
