Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
Horrifying experience. Plain and simple they stole from me. Ordered Taco Bell and driver marked the order as delivered and it never was delivered. Customer service is the WORST they offered me a $10 credit on my $35 order. The biggest insult is i tipped the driver for stealing my food. I will never use them again and highly suggest you never use them either.
Placed our order, 25 mins later alert saying out for delivery, one hour later still no food. Several calls to the restaurant in this time period. They could not get driver to answer phone. Suddenly shows "order delivered" on computer. Called restaurant to inform them still no food. Unanswered calls to driver. Call to GH in Chicago, they say driver is within 5 mins call them back after that. After 10 mins called Chicago and demanded refund. They said driver attempted to call us (lie) and deliver (lie). After speaking with manager finally got 100% refund. Never again, GH!
Ordered McDonald's 1 mile away. Driver was late asking for the gate code when it was already in the directions from prior deliveries. I had to meet him outside instead because he couldn't find my place. I went outside to meet him and immediately noticed he was on coke. I told him. He denied it. I said yeah right. Told him be safe because I know he's high. He drove off.
I ordered a grubhub delivery from my favorite sushi restaurant. The total came to $48. The driver arrived late with about half the order and a bill for $19. Grubhub charged me the full $48. After several attempts, Grubhub refunded the difference to my credit card, but then submitted the full charge a second time. I had to work with Visa to cancel the charge.
I received an order and the food was spilled inside the bag uneatable, so I notified grubhub, should have gotten a full refund instead got a 10.00 voucher that I used the following day at a different restaurant turns out that restaurant doesn't deliver so I got an 8.'' refund instead will never use this scam again
I gave them 2 chances to make it right. Tonight I was sitting outside for an hour waiting on my order. I get a text saying my order was delivered. They tried to blame it on me. Saying the driver knocked on the door and left my food. I was outside the entire time. I will never use grubhub again. They are not customer friendly.
I love Nom Nom Noodles and will continue to order here in the future but I will Never use Grubhub again. This was my first time using Grubhub. Food was ordered at 7:03 PM, the website said the food was out for delivery at 7:16PM and we did not receive our order until 8:19 PM. The restaurant said the driver was extremely late picking up. We had a cash tip waiting for our driver but did not give it to him considering how late he was. He also didn't say a word when he dropped off our food. No apology, Nothing. Terrible service on Grubhub's (and particularly this driver's) behalf.
I am Matt's personal assistant. You all misunderstand President Maloney. He really is a kind and tolerant human being. Just the other day, after I told him that I disagreed with some of his narcissistic world views, which subsequently led to him beating the sh*t out of me with his beautiful new iPad Pro (which I must has is quite robust and well made), he paid the tip for my cab ride to the hospital and gave me a tissue for my bloodied face... two tissues! After I apologized for speaking my mind and telling him that I agreed with everything he had to say, he was soooooo nice to me. Please try to see him through my bloodied eyes. Such a wonderful man.
They delivered our order four hours late on New Years Eve and I had nothing to feed my guests. They promised if it weren't delivered by 7:30pm, they wouldn't charge me. It was delivered at 9pm and they still charged me in full and refused to refund me when I called. Horrendous customer service and worse follow up. I'll be using Uber eats from now on.
Do not use grubhub, use doordash. The GrubHub drivers do not read the notes, they steal your food and then charge you for it. I have had more time with GrubHub where my delivery does not get delivered and I'm stuck with screaming kids because where we ordered from is now closed.
GrubHub will do nothing to solve this for you, they are garbage company used or dash, again used doordash

I ordered $140 BBQ takeout for first time through Grub today, not impressed. App said 45 minutes for food delivery. I received an email 45 minutes later saying I should have my food in 15 minutes. A half hour later I tracked my delivery and it showed food was delivered 15 minutes ago. I contacted customer service and was placed on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to contact my delivery person. CS told me their mailbox was full so they could issue a refund. I said I don't want a refund, my family wants to eat. They cut me off and cancelled my order (refunded)
Over 30mins late and still don't have my food. I wanted it delivered when I got out of work and I have an hour drive to get to school. Looks like I just lost 40 dollars because I can't stay. Just a waste.
Our first order (and last) was tonight. Order was missing a salad and after at least one hour on the phone we got to speak to a manager at Grubhub. Don't waste your time just use Door Dash, will never use Grubhub again.
Did not realize Grubhub was the delivery service for this restaurant (not disclosed). Driver refused to drive up the driveway and demanded I drive down to pick up the food. Grubhub cancelled the order saying the drive4 had an emergency, which was a lie. Said they would refund the charge to my card within 7-10 days (really?). In the future, iI will ask if the restaurant uses Grubhub, and if so, I will choose another restaurant. Amazing they are still in business...
I ordered the food with estimated delivery of 45-60 min. 30 minutes in - I chat with an operator to make sure the order is coming and that they will text when it arrives. They tell me that they've talked to the restaurant to confirm and it will be delivered in 10-30 minutes. Fine. 60 minutes in - I chat with an operator to get status on the order and they state 5-7 minutes. Fine. 90 minutes in - I chat with the operator to get status on the order and they state that it is just going into the car. I'm upset after waiting 90 minutes for my delivery. The operator says to me - its not our fault. REALLY? Way to take ownership of the service. I ask to speak to a manager. The operator says email customer service. REALLY? Screw Eat24. Don't recommend especially if you have hungry and cranky 6 and 8 year olds in a hotel room waiting for food with no other options. Disaster.
2 hours, 2 different drivers and no food, the second driver didn't even respond to the rep. From Grubhub. Asked to speak to supervisor and she said that she would give me a $25 voucher... So I said "ok I'll play baseball and when trying to order the same meal and use the voucher it said my voucher was not valid due to not enough spent in order. I'll need to spend triple the amount of my original orders price to redeem the voucher... Thanks! On top of that they also took my $40 in peaks/cash value that all the sudden disappears. TRASH
In my delivery order information it says that I use a walker give me time to get to the door. I had no idea my food was delivered except for my dog barking. The food was just left on my porch, no one knocked. I have a big sign on my door that says to knock loud and hand package to customer. This was not done and I had a very difficult time getting my food. I will never again use grubhub.
Terrible terrible terrible. Took over 2 hours and they were still late. By then food was soggy and just aweful. Customer service tried to blame it on Google maps and us! Then they didn't even bring everything we ordered. Wish we would have read the reviews first. Even with the $10 coupon they gave us for next time I would still not use then.
Grubhub offered free delivery after signing up and clicking the "get your first order delivered free" pop up. Didn't happen. A meal totaling $18.00 worth of food without the tip costs us $32.00 after fees and tip. Driver was early which was fine and pleasant. Costs were just ridiculous for the convenience of not driving to pick it up. Deleting app. Not worth it.
Tried to use this service to order a pizza the order would not go through so I called the pizza place myself to order and paid through them. I was then charged TWICE by Eat24. So I actually paid 3 times! Now I can't get anyone to reverse the two charges from Eat24. I was given 3 phone numbers 2 with only a voice mail and bad email addresses! Stay away!

Driver: I'm not from around here, I don't know streets and I don't know apartment names.

Eat24 customer service for business owner is non existence.
You'll be put on hold for 30+ mins just to adjust and order. Same for their so call on-line live support and owner phone app.
Just ordered from Grub Hub for the first time. It was delivered on time (by a very rude driver). When we contacted Grub Hub via chat, it took some time for them to respond but basically said they would just refund us for the food that wasn't delivered. No offer to deliver what they missed. Won't even refund the delivery fee and 20% tip!
We spent over 80$ on an order to feed my husband son and I. They forgot my husbands meal and the drink for my kids meal. We talked to Grubhub and they said they will go
Get another one. The manager of the restaurant also contacted them for us and made a fresh meal.
An hour later nothing so we called Grubhub back and they told us that we should have reordered it through them. They took no blame and refunded nothing. We never got our meal or kids drink. We will NEVER use them again.
I have always gave grub hub the benefit of the doubt because my apartment is kind of hard to find. But today was the last straw, after waiting over a hour for mine and my sons food, he is asleep now. I was told that the restaurant wasn't even open. According to google it is. Now i have to wait for who knows how long to try to cancel my order. This is bound the point of what i can except. I will now be banning my husband from ordering from them also.
