“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

I have always gave grub hub the benefit of the doubt because my apartment is kind of hard to find. But today was the last straw, after waiting over a hour for mine and my sons food, he is asleep now. I was told that the restaurant wasn't even open. According to google it is. Now i have to wait for who knows how long to try to cancel my order. This is bound the point of what i can except. I will now be banning my husband from ordering from them also.

Will never use them again - ordered from Popeye's and was I shocked to find out that you pay much more by ordering online through Grubhub - I paid over $20 for a $10 order - never again. I would suggest you use Seamless.

Was given a coupon to a local restaurant for first time users. They claim it was only valid for the first 10 people, though it said nothing on the coupon about that. When I called, the condescending girl offered to read me the small print that conveniently happened to NOT be on the coupon. Then, even though I was potentially a first time customer, offered no discount for my trouble. Let me tell you guys something - an apology for how much your policies suck is not an excuse for customer service. No thanks.

Placed my order through grub hub and 45 minutes later they emailed me that it was cancelled! By that time, it was too late to place a new order (9pm) and this has happened to me 3 times before, but tonight got me fuming! I'm done with Grub hub! No more chances for you.

I'm a driver for Grubhub I been working for them a few months now. I never had an problem with payments & when I pushed cash out for the first time instead of waiting for the regular time payment time I haven't gotten paid it's been over a month! I been contacting them & everyone saying give them a few days to investigate my payment was 132$ In Sept I still haven't received my payment

We decided to use GrubHub for an order from a restaurant that we frequent. 30 min after we placed the order, the owner of the restaurant called us to tell us our order was ready and the driver was still 45 minutes out! If you are ordering from them, the reason your food doesn't taste as good isn't the restaurants fault... it's GrubHub. They are terrible.

Ordered food and was missing items essential for the order. Food was not edible without so i contacted customer service and said they forgot something and would like it delivered so we could eat. They said they will not send the missing items and would not refund me. It took another 2 times of making contact just to get a partial refund. Go F yourselves grubhub.

The restaurant had to call me multiple times to get my order right, I don't know if that was a Grub Hub technical problem with relaying my order or a problem with the restaurant. Also my food was extremely late. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's quicker and cheaper to just get your food yourself. This was such a hassle and the site has a $10 minimum you have to spend which is kind of annoying if you just want to order something small and fast from a sandwich place or something. Not good for quick food, not good if you're on the go or in any sort of hurry or busy, not good if you're extremely hungry. I will never do this again. Not worth the money. I could have bought twice as much food and gotten it in half the time if I had just gone to the restaurant myself.

I ordered dinner through grubhub, waited for more than an hour for my food which never came. I called their line to find out where my food was and was told they will check with the restaurant. Well I got a call back and was told the delivery guy (poor him) had an accident on the way to deliver my food and they are offering to get someone to go take the food from him, I mean from the accident car and bring it to me. Bring me back food from an accident scene. Yes I was hungry, Yes I waited over an hour for my food but who offers that? Please stay away your food might be wrestled out of the hands of a raccoon next time.

I order from time to time on grub hub because I have a special needs son and some times the day is long and I don't want to come home and cook. Today I ordered through grub hub and got charged twice! The first charge, yes that's fine I ordered the food. But to get charged twice, that's not okay. They did give me food twice, but I didnt order that extra food so why am I getting charged? I called grub hub but they didn't want to give me my money back! Thos is not the first time thos has jappe6, I should have learned yje first time.

Used Eat24 to order from BajaFresh. Order was placed at 6:03, and BajaFresh is always very quick at preparing food. Original estimate was that food would be delivered about 6:40. Then it was 7:00. Then it was 7:30. Food arrived about 7:25 and was cold. Food either sat waiting for pick-up at the restaurant or was in the delivery van for a long time. Contacted Eat24 chat line. They offered $10 off next order or they would contact the restaurant about a refund. Restaurant was closed so they were going to follow up as soon as they opened. No follow-up, no refund. Will never again use this company.

First time I used this place e and definitely the last! Ordered my food, paid for it, got an email that I was being charged an additional $2 for mustard and ketchup for my burger. I already paid for an extra ranch for my salad. Notes specifically said to make sure my order is correct. Food came COLD, my condiments I paid an extra $2 for weren't even in the bag. I called grubhub and wanted a new order that was hot with the condiments I paid for. They said sorry we can't do that so we'll refund the burger so you can call back and reorder your food. Thank you for giving me my money for the burger back but I'm not calling to wait another hour for food and paying another delivery fee and tip. Now I'm stuck with cold fries and a half as made burger I will never order from this place again!

Ordered food at 12.07 pm and expected delivery is at 2:30. What the Hell! I can drive over there, eat and come back by then. Then I call the restaurant and then won't even confirm having the order. They tell me to call grubhub. Grubhub has no number that I can find to call. I tried to use the "chat" they won't even respond to that.

I have tried this service twice. Totally not worth it. It is a shame because the website is nice. Nice to filter by restaurants that deliver. That is the only reason they get even one star from me.
Save your time and frustration = don't use this site

I have had nothing but issues with GrubHub. Their app and desktop website keep telling me the restaurants I want to order from are closed, even though I know for a fact that they are open (in fact I had lunch at one of them in person before seeing if the app said they were closed, and sure enough it did).

The last straw was today when I placed an order to be delivered at noon, only to have it be an hour and a half late and I STILL didn't have my order. Two of the customer reps told me that I would have my order within 5 minutes, which never happened. I think they were just trying to get me off the phone. They finally cancelled the order for me after an hour and a half wait.

DO NOT USE GRUBHUB! I have used Door Dash and find it vastly superior. I can actually place orders and their website doesn't tell me everything is closed. The orders also arrive on time.

I used grubhub the other night and I saw a link that said "redeem free meal". I clicked it, and eat immediately charged $10.79 for monthly subscription. No free meal, just a charge. I tried to chat with help reps, but they hung up the chat on me, and refused to refund my money. I opened complaint with bbb.

I've tried multiple times to get simple orders and they never get my address correct, not one time. They always deliver to the wrong place and charge me. Then I have to go through the refund process. Waste of time.

Don't use! I would rather WALK 2 miles than use these incapable morons! I ordered a pizza, 2 hrs later, app keeps pushing back the delivery time. I ended up driving to my pizza. Even the pizza place HATES them.

I placed an order on GrubHub for lunch. When it arrived I realized that half of my other was missing. Before I could catch the driver he was gone. I called GrubHub to have the rest of my order delivered but the driver was "unable" to return and my 2 year old wasn't getting his lunch. They only offered a refund which is not what I wanted. Will never use them again.

I'm trying to set up a menu that reflects my business. Instead of fixing what I was given or how do we help. I get that it is my fault for sending what was asked and expecting professionalism.

Tip for consumers:
Had I been told that I need to build a full menu instead of Grubhub professionals building it things would have gone better I believe. At this point it does not work for my businesses and I can't use it.

Wish I could review without giving any stars...Missing 2 items from my order. Grunhub refused to bring missing items. My 91 year old mother was left without the dinner she ordered. Of course, we shared our dinners with her but, the point is, the entire experience was ruined & they couldn't care less. Refunding my money did not help the situation. Someone was left without food. Immediately canceled membership. I suggest not using this service because if your order is missing items, you will go HUNGRY.

I had a young gentleman deliver my food I left a nice tip because it's cold out lol but very pleasant experience left food with exactly where I asked and really appreciate it. Very good communication. I will use again

Twice we have ordered from GH and twice we had items forgotten by the driver. The drivers were different each time, and neither would not pick up the phone with the contact number given. When I chatted with the GH representative I was told we would get a refund on the missing items and then they decided to only refund about half the cost. I called the restaurant to talk with them about our orders and they said they have had nothing but problems with the whole GH system. The restaurant was going to refund us but the GH system wont allow it. It just overall a poorly run business. We tried GH twice and now it's time to try a competitor.

I placed an order 6:59 ETA was 7:59-8:09 Then I get a text that read 8:15-8:25. I go on Grubhub it states 8:30-8:40? Ridiculous! I start an online chat I'd say around 8:31 she "called the restaurant, food was on the way" at that point i asked for a refund. Did I get it from online chat? NO! She kept apologizing and basically not hearing me out. Guess who knocks on my door at 8:58? On the way huh? I called Grubhub at 8:42 ask for a refund and got it. 3 different time of estimated delivery? I was so mad I lost my appetite. Done with Grubhub and Stalex

Promised one hour delivery. Took 2.5. Called customer service, took one hour to get through. Told me an hour was just an estimate, saw no issue with it taking 2.5. Disconnected when I asked for a manager

Placed my first order at 2:45 for estimated delivery between 3:30 and 3:45... at 4:30 they are still not here. I called the restaurant and they did not even have the order. Terrible service. I will stick with Mobile Meals
