Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
I placed an order on GrubHub for lunch. When it arrived I realized that half of my other was missing. Before I could catch the driver he was gone. I called GrubHub to have the rest of my order delivered but the driver was "unable" to return and my 2 year old wasn't getting his lunch. They only offered a refund which is not what I wanted. Will never use them again.
Placed my first order at 2:45 for estimated delivery between 3:30 and 3:45... at 4:30 they are still not here. I called the restaurant and they did not even have the order. Terrible service. I will stick with Mobile Meals
Twice we have ordered from GH and twice we had items forgotten by the driver. The drivers were different each time, and neither would not pick up the phone with the contact number given. When I chatted with the GH representative I was told we would get a refund on the missing items and then they decided to only refund about half the cost. I called the restaurant to talk with them about our orders and they said they have had nothing but problems with the whole GH system. The restaurant was going to refund us but the GH system wont allow it. It just overall a poorly run business. We tried GH twice and now it's time to try a competitor.
I googled delivery places and this popped up. I decided to check them out, they didn't list that many places for my area, but I checked out a chinese place I hadn't tried before. I selected items, and went to check out. I didn't even have to grab my credit card information because they take paypal, so the ordering process took about 3 minutes, most of that time I was deciding what to order. Oh, and they even had a tip calculator to add onto the total without having to figure it up. I just clicked the percentage and it was added on :) Simple and fast. The estimated time was about an hour, but it was only 30 minutes before my doorbell rang. Super happy with grub hub. The chinese food was very good

You do realize grub-hub is not a restaurant? You are ordering from a list of restaurants that prepare and deliver your food, GH just takes the order and sends it to them, they don't actually run down there, make the food, and run it to your door. LOL They have nothing to do with that.
Only one way to truely be rid of the fascist CEO is to have his presence destroy the bottom line. Find out which restaurants are near you that use them, then let the restaurant know you are boycotting them until they stop using grub hub or grubhub fires it's CEO.
Horrible customer service and and do not keep menus up to date. Charged for an order that was canceled by the store during to incorrect menu. Stilled showed as a delivered order and charged. Store confirmed cancel and agent still tried to fight refund. Worst CS ever. Do not recommend. They need to do out of business. Regal movies did and had great customer service and had to close. Grub hub should too and has terrible customer service.
Do NOT use this website. I've given them SO many chances and ended up with late orders, changes in delivery from delivery to pick up, mess ups in address, etc. I normally don't write reviews for things like this, but when I had my order changed from delivery to pick-up for the SECOND time, I had to. Not to mention, when I went to website to ask why this happened, the woman can only tell me that order is being delivered NOW without any further explanation. Use grubhub.com because that's what I plan on doing from now on.
I used Grubhub for the first time trying to support a local business. I placed my order and received confirmation from GH that my order was being processed and would be available for pick up at the designated time. When I arrived at the designated time, the business was closed. Yet I was still charged. Had to jump through hoops to contact some and request a refund... which will take 3-5 days.
I love GrubHub, but as many posts indicate below, there's some fraud afoot. Someone ordered chicken and other items to a state on the opposite coast from where I am, and about $200 worth. I have never ordered something worth that much from them, I have actually never even been to the state it was ordered to, and my diet prevents me from eating anything that was ordered. I chose to call the restaurant first and was hung up on immediately, making me think that the restaurant was fake. It could have been better when I called too because it took me more than 30 minutes on the phone to cancel this order. I don't think that they should have to check with the restaurant for that because saying you didn't authorize the purchase should be enough to put an immediate stop to it.
No problems ordering. Food was hot when it arrived and it arrived within 30 minutes in Bellevue, WA. The food from Thai Grill was actually pretty good. Ordered some Thai comfort food and it was done well. Only thing missing was a soup spoon. Looks like I had good luck.
Ordered online and got my confirmation. Never received my order. Apparently, driver left food at the wrong house. Shouldn't they ring a doorbell to confirm receipt of order, and if not, they have a phone number associated with the order. They should have called to say it was delivered, right? Drivers don't care is the bottom line. They make the establishment look bad. NOT A FAN. Never again.

Their service has been terrible. A driver came to deliver food and couldn't find my home, which is well marked, and tried to call me but his phone didn't have service. When I notice that he was near I called GrubHub directly, which is the only number they provide, and they put me on hold for 9 minutes and then told me the driver was now too far away to deliver the food. By the time they told me this, everything was closed in town. Too bad they didn't just put me in touch with the driver directly, or have an interface that would allow me to call him.
Well, let's hope there are enough Liberal Hillary supporters to keep your business afloat!

Grubhub offers coupons in app that pop up as banners. You click them, it says they are added to your cart and when you click checkout it says the offer is expired. Or if you are signing up for a streaming service it will pop up saying get a free year of Grubhub plus and you hit redeem it says the offer is expired. They offer fake promo codes and don't honor them. Offers don't expire in under a minute. They are dishonest.
Ordered taco bell, $#*! was a hour late. After I called for a refund I called my bank card and they took out more money than what they were supposed to. Tf I will never order from punk $#*! slow $#*! grub hub again. And I would not reccommend to anybody
Worst experience ever. We placed our order at 6 p.m. and were told it would be delivered by 7 pm. At 7:15, we receive a notification that our order has been delayed until 8 pm. When I contacted the restaurant, the manager said out order has been ready but there is no GrubHub driver. When I contacted GrubHub, the customer service rep couldn't care less about the delay.
Well it seemed like a good idea, but it isnt. Horrible company. Not effective. Costly. Horrible to employees. Hateful company with no morals. Should be called money grubber. Waste of time and money. There are much better options. Avoid and your life will be better
Neither I nor the restaurant from whom I ordered my meal were able to contract Grubhub to find out why the delivery was 2 hrs late. Neither of us will use Grubhub again. The restaurant actually gave me the biz card for UberEats. This is a great stock to sell short
I ordered lunch sandwiches from a nearby subway--how hard could that be? First, they said the order wouldn't be scheduled to arrive until an hour later--pretty poor timing, but okay. Then they called me back, 45 MINUTES LATER, to tell me that they had to cancel the order. Now I had: 15 to find lunch for a gathering of 10 people. Fortunately, Ithaca to go--a local delivery company--was able to do it for us. Grubhub issued me a coupon, which is useless because I will never use them again.
I placed an order through this "service". Absolutely a scam. The driver came into my building WITH THE FOOD (allegedly, as nobody in the entire building had seen anyone come in) and left with the food and me not having it. I paid for a meal I did not get, and then they proceeded to only get a refund for 50% of my order and not the whole order, plus a coupon for the next order. As if I would ever use them again. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but this is absolutely ridiculous and, frankly, unethical especially with not getting all of my money back. I would recommend Ubereats or Doordash, as they have impeccable customer service and they are always on the ball. Grubhub does not care about its customer base whatsoever. Do yourself a favor, and use a service that actually delivers.
We ordered dinner. They went to the wrong address. Then they just canceled our order. They messed up and we paid the price. I guess the one or two other orders were ore important than fixing their mistake.
Delivery sucks and takes forever. They tried to double charge me, had to file a grievance with my bank to get my money back, and on a separate occasion ordered take out using them and the order took a half hour to get to the restaurant. Avoid at all costs.
If I could rate them a 0 I would. I waited over 2 hours for my food. My food had to be remade by the company because they were nice enough to do that. Sat on hold for over 15 mins trying to get my food delivered. Horrible horrible service
I should have read the reviews before using Grubhub I see now what they have the rating that they have. For over 2 hours out of my day today trying to correct their issues with this terrible order. My order was over 40 minutes late and they blamed the restaurant after speaking to the restaurant the drive arrived 15 minutes after they sent the order over this was an order for 10 people, 4 pizzas and a large salad. This was not the restaurants fault and they should have taken full responsibility for their mistakes. They do not know what they are doing and need technical help and should never lie to the client. At the end I was offered $15.00 off my next purchase what next purchase I will never use them again. Own up to your mistakes GRUBHUB. Order # ************** 05/27/2021

First time I've used GrubHub and it will certainly be the last! If I could give zero stars I would. Refused a redelivery for an incorrect order (I ordered a cheese pizza and got a pepperoni instead... I'm a vegetarian)and was also told I could not get a refund. Customer service was rude and not helpful in any way. I was offered a 20% credit on the item which would be $3.
