“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

OK 2nd time now in 3 months, from two different places in which I'm missing items. The restaurant says the driver took it. No one is helping me other than to credit the item- guess no dinner tonight. These guys are terrible and what's worse, is the customer service call I hung up with is terrible and they wouldn't send out another driver.

Very awful service, they submitted my order 30 minutes after I ordered and informed me it would take an hour for the food to be delivered, I decided to call the restaurant and asked them how long it would take for my order to be delivered and they said 45-60 minutes from the time they got my order, in total it would have been 1.5 hours. If I called the restaurant directly they said I could pick up in 15-20 minutes and delivery in 30-45 minutes, which I could have saved myself the agony if I just did that in the first place.

I tried to talk to someone online and I was on hold for 30 minutes just for them to know how long my order would really take. This service does help anyone.

After waiting over 2 hours from order, I called the restaurant to find out it had been canceled immediately, then going to eat 24 to find out why I want notified they then said "oh we see it now" and ignored most of what I had said or asked of them. Not impressed and would never recommend this to anyone.

As my first experience with Grubhub was so distasteful, first off the restaurant owner told me the person that showed him confirmation for pick up wasn't the person who was photo'd on the phone, I didn't receive my delivery, and Customer service was even worst when I contacted grub hub I will be sending them a letter via postal service asking that they remove that driver from the platform she was very dishonest and stole my food. I will never use this service again

We have used Grubhub in the past, but this time was terrible! Ordered food, 20 min later got a text for an upcharge. Food was late, driver was not the one on Que, food was missing, and after a long online chat I got $3.23 back. Would have liked the $17 tip back that I typically give for our order!

So after a long day at the pool and shopping, me and my kids were starving. We got home and decided to order McDonald's from GrubHub. I placed our order for two happy meals and a crispy chicken sandwich. GrubHub said our order would be at my location in less then 15 minutes. So instead of waiting 15 minutes, we actually waited for 3 hours and 45 minutes. I called GrubHub to see what was going on with my order and they said the driver was outside. So I looked outside and the driver was actually outside but then I looked into the car window and I saw him eating my food. So order from GrubHub if you don't mind losing money, eaten food, and the driver being many hours late.

My first driver never showed up to get my order from the restaurant. After the second delay I called the restaurant and said I would come get it. I called Grubhub to cancel the driver. By the time they took me off hold, I was less than. 5 miles from the restaurant and supposedly the driver has just picked up my order and was already on her way to my house. Somehow I still managed to get home before she got there. Ultimately my food was an hour late. They had told me on the phone I would get a promo code via email, and were generally nice on the phone. However, once I saw the promo I was appalled. It didn't even cover their fee. Plus my food had sat for an hour (at least) so it was tepid.

Ordered 2 sandwiches from Ike's Love and Sandwiches and wasn't received an order. No incoming calls from driver, no messages, no emails. After the chatting with online agent they told that refund is impossible option and issued a 50% off on next order. Scam!

Buyer beware! Most online order sites allow you an option to pay at pick-up. Since this site does not have that option, you have to pay at order time but there is no way to apply coupons that the restaurant issues to customers. So don't use this app. Just call your order in and pay at pick-up and apply coupons.

Are you so lazy that you can not call the restaurant directly? You leave some third party bureaucratic dot com to make the order for you? Grubhub screws up orders all the time and worse when a restaurant screws up an order, you can not resolve it without a new layer of complexity. Get rid of the middle-man, and do the right thing, can call the restaurant directly.

Company is terrible. Ive had to many orders made, never pucked up, eventually I'm told to cancel. I was so done with this company, gave them.one more chance and my order was picked up and never dropped off. The driver answered my call, when I said hi this is ur grubhub order he immediately hung up. Then ignored the next 10 calls. The company said, sorry to that mam would u like to cancel ur order. Really? They dont even care about an employee of theirs scaming the system. Embarrassing. He's stealing from grubhub, stealing from the restaurant, and in the end just wasting my time.

I have had issues with time of delivery in the past but we were hungry So i ordered food at 9:30 pm. My mother and i were watching a movie so we dosed off. At 11 pm i realized the food never came! My mother is now starving and most restaurants are clised at this time! Called their 800 number and all they offered was to comp my order! Really? WTF! My mom is super hungry with no options and you wanna toss me 50 bucks! Hell no! Please do not use this service. I would rather eat a cockroach than to ever ever use this service again!

I ordered through Grubhub for the first time ever. I was then told that my order would be available in 45 minutes. After 45 minutes I received a call from the delivery driver and was told that the Grubhub card they use to pick up the order wasn't working. I called the help line and they said it would be fixed in 20 minutes. An hour later I get a call from the delivery driver stating the card still will not work. Grubhub did nothing to fix this mess and just cancelled the order, leaving the restaurant with food unpaid and me without my order. This is my first and definitely last time ever using this company.

If only there is 0/5 stars i would have given them that. I'll never use eat 24 again! This company charged me 3x... 3! Can you $#*!in believe that? They said the two other transactions would fall off but the stress and hassle they gave me is unbelievable.

I ordered a hamburger, fries, 2 sides of gravy from Bill Grays in Irondequoit through GrubHub. For the second time in a row, Bill Grays forgot the fries. I contacted GrubHub and asked them to have someone go get the fries. They refused. And while they did credit back the fries, they refused to credit back the gravy because I received it. Even after explaining the gravy is of no use to me without the fries, they still refused. They didn't even offer a $5 credit off a future order. I'm so sick of ordering through GrubHub and receiving incomplete orders, so I'm done with them. I'm switching to Door Dash.

They have been charging my credit card for membership I thought was cancelled for over a year now! I caught it on my credit card for membership fee over a year after cancelling so now I have deleted my payment info and address on their website that I haven't used for a year now but still getting charged! Would NOT recommend or pay attention to your charges!

Tip for consumers:
Watch your card and charges is all I can say

My food arrived late and cold. The driver called me and immediately started yelling at me about how she couldn't find my apartment. I actually had to tell her to stop yelling. She listened and I directed her to my building, which she drove past 3 times. Also, the bag containing my food looked to be untied and opened(?) kind of suspicious considering how rude she was on the phone...
I contacted customer service and all they said was "it won't happen again"
Ridiculous...

I placed a order not once, not twice, but three times with grub hub and each time my food was stollen by one of there drivers I have children and the food was for them and the 3rd time they refused to give me back my money I don't recommend ordering through them at all

I ordered dinner to be delivered on Sunday April 22. An hour and a half later I had to call and wait on the phone 20 minutes just to find out they would not be able to deliver. They could have shut down their website so people didn't order and restaurants didn't make food they could not get delivered but no GrubHub did nothing. No credits no nothing. Never Again

Service? Ha! Just a waste of time! We never received our order and got a first time order coupon after we placed our first order. Communication was terrible and sounded like it was of Indian descent, not that there is anything wrong with that. Overall, it was a very bad experience and we wanted to hopefully prevent other people from going through it, too.

Do not plan on eating tonight if you order from this website. After checking if the restaurant was in our delivery area we ordered and waited and waited. An hour later we were informed that that their maps were not updated and too bad so sad no dinner for us tonight. This restaurant would not deliver to us and because eat24hour is NOT local there is NOTHING they can do about it. Too bad for you.

Great service. Mostly, alittle inflated in pricing compared to in restaurant prices. But the order tracking! Omg! The interface is horrible It does need a lot of work. It zooms in so no detail as to location of driver is discernible. And it's completely inaccurate. Tracking therefor is useless. It needs attention to be useful

Their Chat bot stinks and when I was connected to a real person via chat was told that though my order was not delivered I could not be issued a refund because the driver tried to contact me. The driver never tried to contact me. I was sitting in my living room waiting for the delivery until I checked the status and was told that it had been delivered. What a scam! They add fees and tips and then don't deliver but I'm left with the bill.

So we are in a time where delivery and takeout are the only options. My girlfriend ordered wings from mugs on the app and waited 2 hours. She was holding her phone the entire time and decided to call to see what was going on. They told her that the driver tried to make contact and that she is not getting the food or a refund. She told them that she never got a call and that she even included special instructions with the order. They still refused to give her a refund. We had multiple issues with grubhub before but this was the last straw. Deleted the app. No more business from us.

This service is absolutely horrible. Every time I have placed an order it suddenly gets canceled an hour later. They also charge a service fee in which they never inform a customer. They take money out know they can confirm order, and say it takes 5 business in order for them to refund the order.
