Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
The driver called and sounded angry and told us to come to him in the parking lot. He did not bring our food to us we had to go to him and the bag of food was left open so our food was cold and a drink was missing from the order and it looked like he was drinking the missing drink. He also made us reach into his car though the window to get the food bag. Overall it was bad service and a very sketchy experience. I will not be ordering from Grubhub again.
*edit - there were no napkins or utensils included. The potatoes were soggy and cold. Really wish I had my drink but they messed up and didn't give it to me
I placed an order at 6:08 am for breakfast. Granted the place I ordered from is a bit further than I normally order and it was to take about an hour for delivery. I got an alert saying it would be later. The deli called me and asked if the order was still valid. I told them I got an alert saying that the order would be delivered around 8:15. At 7:40 I got a text telling me something went wrong, and they needed to cancel my order. What went wrong is that there was no driver willing to pick up and deliver my order. I am a good tipper as I know that gas prices are higher and well, I tend to be generous. This is not the first time this has happened. I even had an order cancelled with the excuse that the store was closed & it was not closed. They compensate by giving a $5 credit when they are late. What about when they cancel? Especially when you are waiting over 2hrs for the food that is supposed to be delivered immediately? I understand things happen but it is happening WAY too often
They took my money but never placed my order. I found out when I called the restaurant. Then customer service was a long wait to get the order cancelled, which is weird because it was never placed, but still needed to get my money back. Card was charged, I hope the refund posts just as quickly.
I ordered my food. It was marked delivered and I never got it! They lied and said they called, texted and emailed me. No one ever tried reaching me. When I called about it they said they wouldn't refund my money but would give me half off my next purchase... They could literally give me 10 free meals and I wouldn't order from them again! After waiting for my food for 2 hours and not getting it, Door Dash had the same order to me in 30 minutes! This place is a joke!
I placed an order from KFC, around the time it should've been delivered i got a text from the driver saying he couldn't get in touch with me but he left my food at the front door! I checked my door, both my neighbors doors and didn't find anything! On top of that, my refund wasn't instant! I Hate grubhub, I hate their $#*!ty service and will never use them again.
I placed an order at 8 pm and Grubhub charged my account immediately but more than one hour later they sent me an email saying my order was cancelled and they'll refund my money in 3-5 days! My guests were hungry and I was given no explanation why my order was cancelled while they took my money. This is fraud as far as I'm concerned.
Had my order cancelled as the driver was on their way to deliver the food all because there was an issue with the Grubhub app. Lots of wasted time and money and every party involved (the driver, the restaurant, and the order recipient) failed to get anything out of the transaction because of Grubhub's crappy product.
Ordered Firehouse Subs which is 10 minutes away from me through Grubhub. Had to cancel order because tracking showed it went from a 55minute wait to changing to an 2 hour wait. Which was ridiculous for the 3 simple items I ordered. So now we're extra hungry because we waited over an hour for a order that the wait time changed on 4 different times. Sorry service, will never use again.
I work three jobs and order grubhub quite a bit. (Almost daily) I have had my food delivered to the incorrect address numerous times. They constantly deliver to the address across the street from me, regardless of the notes I leave.
The drivers (not all) have forgotten my drinks numerous times as well, and they always blame it on the restaurant. They say oh the restaurant didn't give me a drink.
I deliver too, and it is the delivery drivers responsibility to make sure the order is correct and everything that was paid for is included. That is what you get paid for!
I tip 30% or more. I don't tip highly to have my food delivered to the incorrect address and to hear the drivers push their responsibility or fault of their own onto the restaurant.
I have also received food where the sauce or food was all over the bottom of the bag, so I didn't get to use the sauce I bought or sometimes food. I will never be using Grubhub ever again!
I've placed 2 orders using GrubHub and 2 I had issues with. First order all went well, then a week later I see a charge from GrubHub. I checked to make sure it did not post late, it did not. This was a second charge that I never made. Then this week I placed another order thru the restaurant website, they use GrubHub. I called the restaurant, they never received the order. I drove there, placed a new order, paid for it. Then I see a charge from GrubHub on my card. I contacted GrubHub to dispute and ask for a refund. They refused. I had to place another dispute. I will NEVER use this company again, even though it means I'll drive to pick up orders myself. It's not worth it.
Ordered out food and the app said it would be ready in 40 minutes. Kept checking and the time got pushed back by over an hour. Our food was ready 20 minutes after ordering and it sat therefkr over a hour and a half until the restaurant spoke to us saying it's still there. We had to pick it up ourselves. Grub hub gave us a credit for their company that will never get used and we had to eat old food. Customer service was on existent and this was horroble. First and last time of using this inconvenient company.
I ordered $40 of food through grubhub. After an HOUR of no progress, grubhub calls to tell me they are refunding my order and that it was canceled. Problem is, they didn't refund it. I was left with no money, no food, and no way to tell them to give me credit. They STOLE from me and I have no way of recovering without a lawyer. I'm done with them.

Quite frankly, my tipping style and decision to GIVE my money away is up to me. When the app recently turned into a will you tip by credit card now or tip when driver shows up thing, I won't tip at all. I love tipping good drivers but it should not be expected and I shouldn't have to enter how much I will tip and whether it will be by CC or in cash at the door. None of your damn business! Looking at the Eat24 app as I write this.
Totally unreliable, they don't tell you the wait time until you make the purchase. Afterward, you just have to wait and wait, triple the estimated time. Everytime you chat with them to check your order status, you will be told that the driver is on the way, will be few more minutes. Then you wait for another hour and nothing. Used it once, never going to use it again.
My order came in wrong... When I called the service that I ordered from, they told me it was grubhub that is responsible... When I called grubhub to let them know about my order, they told me it was my fault. I explained to them, I ordered based on what I could eat... The girl told me well, you just have deal with it and I totally went off. Once I hung up, next thing I no, they are sending an apology through text with 10.00 on them... Really, because I told them I was going reported to my cc company and two, I was give them a bad review... Well here you go...

They forgot my drink. The fries were soggy and cold. The burger bun was totally soggy from being in the bag for too long and was luke warm. The lettuce on the burger was cooked. It had steamed in the bag until it totally wilted. Red Robin is within walking distance of my house. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to drive here! Ten tops! When i opened a chat to inquire about the delay they offered $10 off my next order. UMMM we had two burgers and fries etc... so $10 off is nothing! $10 off an order I will never again place doesn't fix cold ruined dinner served at 8:30 pm. Do yourself a favor and delete the app.
First order was to a fish grill place. I asked for no white sauce, limes and salsa on the side. Instead in the burrito was incredible amounts of white sauce, side of white sauce and no limes. Food took upwards of two hours and was walking distance from my work.
Second occasion I ordered combo 3. Bacon, avocado cheese burger, in the request box I wrote add bbq sauce and lettuce. Two hours later I gota a soggie chicken sandwich soaked in mayo and ranch. Fries were stale and they brought me diet coke rather than Dr Pepper.

Ordered from Fontina Grill. Driver was great! Food ok. My cost 2 never do this again $95.42. Ordered on 1/31/19 called Grubhub because I did not receive cutlery to eat with. When I called Grubhub at this number *******870, I was told they nor the restaurant supply cutlery to eat with. Where in the US do, they do this? My fees delivery $12.42 Estimated tax 3.80 Tip $15.90 Plus the cost of food Total $95.42.
Driver was lost when he was 5 min away, he called me and ask directions barely spoke any English, it took him 20 min and he throw out food at doorman. I tipped 20% and delivery fee.The delivery person was completely jerk.
I didnt want touch the food, poor customer service and I will never order from them again.
I've ordered from "GrubHell" on two separate occasions and lost money both times. The second time, after 2-hours my food ($55) was never delivered. I had to drive to the restaurant and was told they don't work with GrubHub... after several minutes of going back and forth with the restaurant owner, he gave me cold food and I lost out on the $20 I'd paid for the delivery charge and tip.
I reached out to GrubHub and was told I could be provided "free grub", and I declined the offer. During the call the rep called me "Carlos" the entire time... (I'm not a male and my name isn't Carlos). After correcting her, she was disrespectful and continued to do the same thing until she hung up in my face.
I then reached out to GrubHub via chat and was told the same thing... then the rep left the chat.
This company is a mess! Do NOT order from them unless you want a headache! What a waste of time!
This is the 3rd time I have ordered and had my food made immediately... and not delivered for over an hour and a half! The real problem with this is that i order being told 35-45 minutes... then the time keeps going up! The 20% tip is already included when I order so not that! But when calling grub hub you will be rushed off the phone then if you complain enough they will give you $10 off the next order... which will also be an hour late! When im ordering this as my lunch at work I cant leave to get something else. The cutomer service guy i just spoke with after being told its been an hour with another 30 min on the clock said "oh thats too bad" thats it im done! I will just go back to standard delivery services like Pizza hut employees!
Unfortunately this was not a good experience. After forgetting half my order and re delivering that half and hour later my order still was not right and both deliveries were cold. When my food that was missing was re delivered the sides that i paid additional money for was missing. I will not be using your services

The driver Dianna *******565 refuses contact less delivery. She is unprofessional and Grubhub deserves better employees. This says my order was delivered and that was a lie. She refused to deliver to my door and texted me to call customer service. I certainly did. They canceled my order. I ordered from an actual restaurant that delivered without a problem.
I got my order late, with a wrong item and food was cold and all over the place in the boxes so I couldn't even eat it. Contacted customer service and they were no help, they don't care about helping so I threw away money. Never using this again. Worst service I have ever gotten, even with the person who delivered, he was mad because the gate wasn't open. 0 stars for this
My order never got to my place, and then when they confirmed this. They refused to give me a full refund and instead gave me a crap coupon to save 50% off my next meal with them. Horrible service. Never ordering from them ever again.
