“Customer help would not admit or acknowledge mistake”

Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means. Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.

Every time well I should say both times I have used this service somebody in my family goes hungry... I really thought last time it was a fluke. But once again my order was not complete. They sent a text that an item was not available. They couldn't call? By the time I called the resteraunt the order had been picked up... what is the point of an incomplete order?. My once in a blue moon treat was once again destroyed by this joke of a service lesson learned won't use them again.
Postmates uber anything but grub hub... and 3 to 5 days for monies to be refunded really?

I used grubhub for the first time and last time. When I see my delivery time kept going up, I called and cancel my order. Here I still havent got my refund. It been about 2 weeks. Never again I will use grubhub.

I have found out after using grub hub for several times if you order dessert you will not get it ever. The drivers take it as their reward and get by with it. I bought four hot fudge sundaes and got none and have ordered cheesecake and never gotten it even though on receipt and I paid for it on receipt. Shame on the drivers who all have a sweet tooth at customer expense. Nuts to them all. Drivers will catch the reward they want as your dessert.

I will never ever ever ever use grubhub again. I placed an hour at 2pm for a 5:30 delivery. Long story short, our food got to us by 6:30, ice cold, and when I called the restaurant they said our order was picked up 45 minutes prior. It only takes MAYBE 8 minutes to get to our house. Called and customer service offered me a coupon. A COUPON. Nah. I asked for a manager and got a full refund. Ruined my birthday dinner.

Because we typically have smaller orders the tips are smaller for the driver. I learned that is how they decide which orders they're going to take. I found that out after my time of delivery was pushed back three times. The driver that finally delivered was upset because I asked him why it took almost two hours and I didn't realize that he just took the order. It got ignored by all the other drivers because the tip was too small. Not too small for me a total that was going to the driver was $5 out of my $20. He also told me that the reason it was so long is because I left no tip? I told him that's not true I saw it right on my bill he argued again finally he admitted there he saw it and finally he continued to harass me after he dropped off my food on my personal phone and texted me over 1 hour after he dropped off my food. Ruined the entire night and the meal never going to use GrubHub again

Tip for consumers:
Be careful if it's a small order on Friday night you won't be getting your meal very soon

Products used:
GrubHub delivered my Jim's burgers 1 hour and 55 minutes after I placed the order Jim's is 2 minutes away

If I could give Eat24 zero stars, I would. The first time two times I used it, the estimated delivery time was 30-45 mins but ended up being 2 hours late and cold by the time I finally got it. The second time I used it, the estimated delivery time was an hour and a half so I cancelled my order and received a confirmation of my cancellation. Two hours later, a driver showed up with the order. They can't get anything right! I would give anything just to be able to call up a restaurant again, communicate with a human being and get my food delivered in a normal amount of time.

This is the second time I've tried GrubHub and will NEVER use it again! Ordered at 3:30, and after having to call them, found out that my order wouldn't get here until 6! This happened once before and when I got my food that time, it was cold and wrong! Never ever again!

Grubhub is advertising a new pizza joint in our town. We ordered alot of food for us and out of town guests. Figured we would give the new guys a chance. What a mistake. 2.5 hours later - NO FOOD! Called the restaurant 10 times and their "phone number" is a cell phone with a full voicemail box! Called Grubhub and after 20 minutes on the phone they offered us a $5 credit for our inconvenience. Hungry kids, out of town guests. Please! I told them to keep their $5 bucks and get a life. BTW - I never leave reviews... I will never use Grubhub again.

I placed an order an hour prior to me taking my lunch at work. It was 12:15 p.m. The expected arrival time was 1:00 -1:10 p.m. I check around 1:00 p.m. on my order to see if it was on its way, and the order showed delivered! I called GrubHub and the woman checked on the order for me, she could not locate the driver so I waited on the line and finally at 1:25 she said that she could not locate the driver, so she asked if I wanted to send another driver. I was about to hit my 6 hours at work and had to take my lunch asap so I told her I would pick the food up, and all she said was "ok" and hung up. I am not the type of person to ask for free meals or anything because I know what it is like to work in customer service, but I know when to offer a customer something when they have received very poor service!

Created an order from Yelp Eat24 for one restaurant, could see the order queue. They sent it to the wrong restaurant when I hit submit. Tried their online chat support. Took them two minutes to say hi, then another three to tell me two wait a moment, then they never came back. I called support and they said they would cancel the order and refund my money but it would take five to seven business days to return the money to my account. When I asked how to leave a review since Yelp is a review site, she said she had no idea how to do that. I will NOT be using this service again. Instead, I ended up making omelets for everyone as I wait for my eating out budget to be returned to my account.

During this of stay at home order, I was hungry and decided to order food. I wanted KFC which is literally 60 yards from my residence, but due to only drive thru orders being fulfilled I had to order online. I went to their website and noticed Grubhub delivery fee (3.99) was waived. I ordered at 4.07pm, it said my order would be at my residence at 5.10pm. This is my second time using Grubhub for the restaurant, I had terrible results the first time and hoped it would be better this time. So much for hope. I am unaware if the restaurant or Grubhub delivery driver is responsible for making sure I have a complete order, but on both occasions I didn't have one. I've been in this store when Grubhub drivers have picked up orders. It appears they have some knowledge about what was ordered and what they will be picking up. Grubhub says it waives the $3.99 delivery fee, but adds a service fee, small order fee and minimum tip of 18%. Yesterday was it for me, Grubhub is for the birds.

Their convenience fee bites and is out of control. Not sure why I didnt realize it until tonight! I havent seen anyplace this bad and I get an extra call every time to check on my order - reality= get me to spend more. Ugh. Cant believe it took me this long.

The driver of Cabañas Restaurant never brought my food and he reported to Grubhub as it was delivered. As other complained they charged my credit card but they did not gave me a refund just on offer of 50% next purchase. I refused to the offer but they did not want to return my money. I think this is a scam, the restaurant probably never prepared my food since they have the politic of charge the credit card with only report that the food was delivered without proof they have called or attempted to bring the food. It is possible the Grubhub is involved since both restaurants and Grubhub win

Took my money and the order didn't go through. Awful woman on the phone told me the site was experiencing glitches and I would be refunded. I wasn't. And no one will pickup the phone or answer the live chat. What a bust. NEVER AGAIN.

Site doesn't work, login doesn't work, tried every login option. First and last time I'll attempt to order thru grubhub. Oh and "connect with us" doesn't have any contact info. Waste of time. I am tech savvy and this site just does not work. Look elsewhere.

I ordered Grubhub once! 6/7 months later I have canceled 4/5 times no matter they will charge you 10$ a month. Only way is call to cancel. And they REFUSE a refund even though they can see you canceled..

No value, took them. Over 20 minutes to place the order. Why order online. Then multiple texts and emails with comflictory info as to when to pick food up. Lucky I called... took over 50 minutes for carry out?

I ordered a pizza at 5:15 and was sent an email that I would receive it at 5:55. Later that was changed to 6:10. When you have a problem, you are directed to call the restaurant. I did and they said they did not receive the order. You have to dig down in Grubhub to find a chat contact. Grubhub blamed the restaurant's system. Needless to say after waiting 2 1/2 hours, I cancelled the order. I will no longer recommend Grubhub.

Ordered at 8:25 for delivery between 8:55 and 9:05. Food was ready at the restaurant by 8:55 waiting on grubhub driver. Finally asked for a refund at 10:00. Never using grubhub again and wouldn't recommend it to my enemies!

I will never use grubhub again. The girl who delivered did not bring the correct amount of food - I was able to report 1 of the items online but not the others grubhub sucks!

Get a text saying my order is delayed 20 minutes... Ok, cool. 30 minutes go by and they call and ask if I got my order. It's been over an hour at this point. I say no, still waiting... Then the guy proceeds to tell me "another driver must have picked up my order" and asked if I wanted to wait for my order to be remade. So another hour and a half? Ummm not optional, the reason I'm ordering the service is that I'm at a hotel waiting for an event and my Uber is due to pick me up in 20 minutes. The customer service rep barely says sorry and asks if I just want to cancel the order then... Obviously. No offer to redeem the $10 coupon again, no offer for another coupon to give the service another try. So needless to say, I definitely won't be trying the service again.

Just spent over an hour fighting with the app after it glitched and moved the time of a big party order to a time that I have absolutely no use for it. It won't stay good and I need to throw it away. The system kicked me off from no less than 4 chats with reps and I spent the rest of the time trying to get through. At the end, no refund, no coupon, no reschedule, just a half done apology from my fourth agent who said I was on my own despite that I spent money and time to receive both a good and a service and now I am essentially getting neither.

First time user - horrible experience, took 90 min to get order, restaurant was 5 miles away from my house I get that things happen but if you don't have a driver then don't accept the order, food was super cold and then they forgot my drink- would give zero stars if I could, I should have just drove there myself- that's what I get for being lazy

Ordered using a code they have been advertising all over the subways in NYC. In huge letters on the ad and on their site it says Yelp Eat 24. Making it seem like they are the same company. I placed an order w/ them and they only took $2 off - should've been $10. They couldn't help me and told me I ordered from yelp not them. I am literally on eat24.com and see my order. My email confirmation came from them at eat 24. I wrote to ask them again. No answer. I chatted w/ another person and they said sorry but they couldn't help me. Kept telling me I ordered from yelp, not them. Do NOT use.

We placed order more than two hours ago through GH, still not here. Been on hold on their phone for way over half hour, and have been waiting for more than half hour for one of their on-line "chatters." No food, no service, no way to get hold of them.
