“Fees increase after delivery”

Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!

Get a text saying my order is delayed 20 minutes... Ok, cool. 30 minutes go by and they call and ask if I got my order. It's been over an hour at this point. I say no, still waiting... Then the guy proceeds to tell me "another driver must have picked up my order" and asked if I wanted to wait for my order to be remade. So another hour and a half? Ummm not optional, the reason I'm ordering the service is that I'm at a hotel waiting for an event and my Uber is due to pick me up in 20 minutes. The customer service rep barely says sorry and asks if I just want to cancel the order then... Obviously. No offer to redeem the $10 coupon again, no offer for another coupon to give the service another try. So needless to say, I definitely won't be trying the service again.

First time user - horrible experience, took 90 min to get order, restaurant was 5 miles away from my house I get that things happen but if you don't have a driver then don't accept the order, food was super cold and then they forgot my drink- would give zero stars if I could, I should have just drove there myself- that's what I get for being lazy

Just spent over an hour fighting with the app after it glitched and moved the time of a big party order to a time that I have absolutely no use for it. It won't stay good and I need to throw it away. The system kicked me off from no less than 4 chats with reps and I spent the rest of the time trying to get through. At the end, no refund, no coupon, no reschedule, just a half done apology from my fourth agent who said I was on my own despite that I spent money and time to receive both a good and a service and now I am essentially getting neither.

Ordered using a code they have been advertising all over the subways in NYC. In huge letters on the ad and on their site it says Yelp Eat 24. Making it seem like they are the same company. I placed an order w/ them and they only took $2 off - should've been $10. They couldn't help me and told me I ordered from yelp not them. I am literally on eat24.com and see my order. My email confirmation came from them at eat 24. I wrote to ask them again. No answer. I chatted w/ another person and they said sorry but they couldn't help me. Kept telling me I ordered from yelp, not them. Do NOT use.

We placed order more than two hours ago through GH, still not here. Been on hold on their phone for way over half hour, and have been waiting for more than half hour for one of their on-line "chatters." No food, no service, no way to get hold of them.

Order kfc, it was $25.00 an hour and a half later it was marked as delivered. I called customer service they could not find my account or order. Chatted with customer service they would not refund would only give me 25% off my next order. I just want my money back. Why would i order with you again.

Didn't provide accurate times of when the food would be delivered. We were out there when it said they were and they said the food was already delivered. Contacted immediately and they refused to provide a refund even after we tried calling the driver and were waiting outside our home.

I ordered Chinese food from Grubhub. The app immediately announced that the food was already delivered. It never came. Grubhub stole $40 from me. I then reordered from UberEats with complete success. Don't use a Grubhub unless you want to be robbed.

Girlfriend and I have used grubhub multiple times with great success, but tonight tried to order sushi from a place we've ordered from before and were given an error message. We tried to place the order again and were once again given error. Upon checking the bank statement minutes later, we found that two charges were applied within minutes. When we called the restaurant, they said no order was received. When we called grubhub, they said nothing went through and they couldn't help us without an order number. Because we didn't have an order number, they claimed that they couldn't do anything for us. Now we are out over $80 and have no food coming! When my girlfriend asked the customer service rep to refer us to a manager or tech support, she was told nobody could help. Why can't they help? They are the ones who charged the card, you would think they would have some information?

They take your order you pay for it get a confirmation number have delivery time 20 minutes they send you a text they have canceled you order no Explanations just that's it's cancel. This has happen three times. Customer service is nonexistent

Long story short - food over of over $100 in value went missing, delivery driver claimed the order was cancelled when neither myself (the customer) nor the restaurant initiated cancelling the order. Delivery driver then called me directly to say he would only give me the food if I called GrubHub to ensure he got his money and I refused because it was extremely suspicious. I called GrubHub and the first representative I spoke with handled things by just refunding the order, which I appreciated. I gave GrubHub a follow-up call to their customer service line to let them know about the delivery driver's sketchy request and they didn't seem to bat an eye - said they can't do anything or look into it further unless they hear from the driver, which I presume they haven't. YIKES. AVOID. Exercise extreme caution if you must order food through this service but my advice is to avoid if you can or you will be put in awkward positions like this as the customer.

Have ordered from grubhub twice the first order never came called the restaurant and they said they don't use grubhub but they kept saying it was on it's way we are still waiting the second time we ordered tonight they said it would be an hour but we used a credit card they said we paid with Google pay so I called the restuarant they have no record of the order grubhub is a joke stay away from grubhub

I will NEVER order from GrubHub again. I ordered food tonight with five total items. The bag of food arrived with two items missing and two others were the incorrect items. I contacted GrubHub and they refunded ONLY the cost of those items and not any of the ridiculous delivery fees. This means that I essentially paid $14.67 for the one correct item I had remaining that costs $3.99 at the restaurant. Done.

I wanted to order delivery, thought I did because I input my address. It still chose pick up, not to mention the wrong restaurant location.
When I had got to the restaurant to pick up my order the restaurant was CLOSED. I was livid. Why would Grub Hub allow me to make an order at a restaurant that was closed for the night? After working 12 hours, the last thing I needed was a goose chase. Never using them again.

I ordered from GrubHub thinking I was going to get delivery but then I looked and it said pickup would be ready at 8:00. Oops. That was my fault I thought this was a food delivery service for some reason. When I picked up the food I also got a menu and saw the prices on the app we're incredibly jacked up. 13 dollar entrees were 18 dollars on the app. Also I added a tip. Who gets that when I pick up the order. Craziness.

My friend ordered from here and they left the food on his doorstep outside, in the cold. They never rang the doorbell or called him up. He waited for hours for the food and only noticed and I came by his house and told him that this was outside his house. The food was rock hard and freezing. Ugh.

First time using Grubhub (accidentally, to have pizza delivered) and I paid $6 delivery fee AND a $7 driver tip and the food from our favorite pizza place came an hour late! The employees' lunch period was ending when it arrived! I will never use Grubhub again even though they had a cool app to track your order and driver - but not helpful to know when it will arrive if it is going to be THAT late.

Grubhub sucks. My order was screwed up a few months back and was supposed to get a refund and never received it. Ordered again today and never received my food. I will never ever use them again. They're not reliable.

I've ordered from GrubHub 7 times in the last few weeks. It's been seamless. A couple of days ago, I received a coupon and a promo code for discounted delivery. When I tried to use it, the discount was denied. I ordered anyway, (no discount) and called customer service at GrubHub. They said the promo was for 1st time customers only. They gave me a $5 dollar credit.

The coupon (even in the finest print), does not say the discount applies to 1st timers only. I emailed it to them so they could see what I meant. Maybe I'm cheap and petty, but if a business offers a deal and makes a mistake in the fine print... THEY SHOULD HONOR THE PROMOTION!

I went onto the Grub Hub website and a pop-up ad offered $7 off for first time users. I went to place an order and the $7 off wasn't applied. I contacted Customer Service online and asked if they could send me the promo code. After waiting 10 minutes for a response, I was told they aren't running any promos, but to watch Facebook for promos in the future. What B/S, clear bait and switch. My first experience with Grub Hub is my last.

Placed an order at 4:58PM. From the app (specifically, the feature where you can see the driver enroute), it appears that the driver (Lisa(?)) picked up my food, and then drive to a local casino. I hope she enjoyed it.

Ordered from a very good and loved restaurant, received message quickly that food was here. Hmmm, fishy... I live in a secure building that requires driver to call me on building phone to let him in. No call so I contacted Eat24 and found out that driver attempted to deliverknocked on door rang bell, such a lie. Driver left with my food What a waste! I will recommend to all my friends to use GrubHub or UberEats NOT this place.

Grubhub sucks! They left the food oustside on the GROUND at my door and didn't even knock to let me know it had arrived. I'm waiting for my food and it's already here smh. Do better! I prefer door dash!

I ordered Chinese through this site and had to wait over an hour for delivery. It wasn't that big of a deal, however, when it was beyond the estimated time for delivery I called the business and they told me that the order never showed up. I tell them I want my money back and he tells me I have to contact the online ordering place (grub hub) and well after I was furious with that answer I hung up and called customer service. I have been on hold for over 40 min to have a 1 minute conversation letting me know they will contact the business and cancel my order (which I've already done) and that my money will be refunded. Their excuse was it's the busiest night of the year and that's why I waiting so long on hold and for the food I never got. How do you expect to run an onljne business with excuse after excuse!?

Just tried to order from grub hub and selected to use a cash tip option. I got a call from grub hub stating that the only way they would process my order is if I selected the 15% prepaid tip option. In the past when I used the prepaid tip option the orders would be wrong or missing items. So I started doing the cash tip, that way when the order was wrong or incorrect I would tip someone for being incompetent. So they labeled me as a non-tipper and said that they are requiring me to select the 15% pre paid tip option or else they would cancel my order. Forcing me to pay even though the orders are continuously incorrect. This is robbery, since when is a tip mandatory?

DONT USE THIS SITE. OVERPRICED AND REQUIRE A TIP OR THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR OFDER.
