I bought scissors - But Hardware World sent a completely different model number that was a cheaper version. I have contacted them several times and supplied all the pics they requested - now they won't respond to my emails! Bait and switch and then you are stuck with what they send you! Buyer BEWARE!

I've always received what I've ordered from Hardware World. However, I have had several issues regarding credit card payment. I am unable to order using PayPal. The website never lets the transaction occur using PayPal. Also, I entered my CC info in May of 2022 and a week later my CC was hacked. Same thing happened again with my recent Jan 2023 order. I entered my CC info and a week later I had to get a new CC card from the bank. To be fair, I ordered in Sep 2022 and this did not occur.
Our HOA required a specific type of paint to use. Hardware World had exactly what I needed and could get it to me in time. I am satisfied with the ease of their website and the quick delivery. The shipping costs were a little high, but worth it. I'll definitely use them again.

I would not reccommend anyone purchasing from them. They use Bait and Switch tactics. You buy one thing and then they send you a cheaper version and won't respond to you !!

a $30+ shipping charge for two, $12 items made of plastic seems extreme. I need these now so 'll but them but won't likely come back

I looked at all my local hardware stores and big box stores plus Amazon. No one had the Shulte brand shelf supports for my coated wire shelves. They are sturdier and slightly wider to fit my 35 year old closet shelving. Hardware World did- and I had them in 2 days. Very pleased.

I called to confirm they had exactly what I needed and a live person answered the phone. Yes I said a REAL LIVE human! She was very knowledgeable and efficient. My items arrive quickly and in great condition. I would definitely recommend!

I needed carbide/cement blades for my late husband's old Ryobi jigsaw and no one had them. I ordered from Hardware World and received them quickly at a great price. They did the job!
paypal page didn't seem very cooperative, but other than that I like being allowed to pay without having to make another id and password for your site.
It was so easy to place my order, and the cost was even cheaper than all the others I've tried. Very happy!

Our voice mail greeting does provide our customer service email address. For much quicker service, it is best to email us. We answer emails in the order they are received and you have your answer usually within a few minutes. Voice mails, due to the volume of in and out calling, are returned by the end of the business day.

Received merchandise according to schedule. No issues and no problems.
Everything from order to delivery went very well. Grill arrived in excellent condition. Website was very user friendly even for a 64 year old to go through. I will recommend Hardware World to others. Great site and service!

The can pictured on the website had a yellow label--that is the one I have always used and that was what I expected to receive. The can I received had a blue label and had I wanted that one I could have bought it locally with the net cost being about $8.00 cheaper.

However, there are important facts left out.
First of all, the two items you purchased were oversized items, over 36'
Long. Since we do not add hidden fees or upticks to the shipping fees, cost provided to you was straight from UPS. What they determined this order should be charged for shipping this very oversized package, that is exactly what you were charged.
Also, due to the size, this package comes under the DIM rates. This is a premium rate charged by almost every carrier for packages that are larger than they weigh. You essentially pay for the space your package takes up on the UPS planes, trucks and vans. Think of shipping a dozen blown up balloons shipped in a large cardboard box. The package doesn't weigh much but takes up a huge amount of space that UPS could be using to transport several smaller, more profitable packages so the balloon box pays the higher rate just like you did with your oversized package.
Secondly, your package was shipped over 700 miles from our warehouse dock conveniently to your front door. And as you are well aware, no one ships for free. There are maintenance costs, insurance costs, personnel wages, sort center costs, etc. If we want the convenience of door delivery, there is a price to pay. And that is the cost UPS charged you, NOT us.
What other shipping service could you use that is cheaper? Drive it yourself? Even USPS charges $12.80 cents MORE than you paid here. With gas prices averaging $3.00 a gallon, you would not get far on the $30.00 shipping fee you paid.
So while you think you were overcharged for shipping this oversized package over 700 miles, when you consider the whole picture and the facts, you got quite a bargain.
