I personaly had doubts about receiving the order because after I placed my order I saw there is no customer support contact number and usually websites that only have email contact forms are shady. I also read a lot of negative reviews about people not getting their orders but I personaly got it and pretty fast. I placed an order for a Personalised Hogwarts Acceptance Letteron 3rd of May and I got it on 15th of May (12 days) which was fast enough for me. I don't know if people ordered from different websites but the website I used was harrypottershop.co.uk The quality is good, the package had a sticker mentioning that it should not be bend so the carrier will know how to properly treat it even if it was only a letter. I usually don't write reviews but I always give credits where I should so I am writing this in case someone else is worried about their order. I can only speak on behalf of the letter regarding the quality. I will definitely order again in the future because my girlfriend is a big fan of Harry Potter.
I ordered somethings for my niece as Christmas presents, she had recieved the same items. I'm trying to fill out a "contact us form" on harrypottershop.com. Why does it say my email is incorrect? How am i supposed to send my items back? There's no number either. This website is horrible.
I honestly got a bit worried when I saw all of these reviews (which was after I had already placed my order), but I actually received my ravenclaw adult robe super quickly, it looks absolutely fantastic and the packaging was flawless. I don't know if they changed management over the years, because most of the bad reviews are from a couple of years ago. But really, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

After reading 30 negative 1 star reviews I wanted to give me honest experience with HarryPotterShop.com. I placed my order and within their 2 day shipment time I had already received a purchase confirmation and an email saying that it was on its way. I used the given tracking number and received many updates on the packages where abouts. It took in total about 8 buisness days but it came to Canada from the states so it is understandable. The product is a official and came with the noble collection certificate. I hope this puts ease to some of your worries.
After reading so many terrible reviews I wanted to share my good experience with this company. I purchased not one but multiple items after the "guaranteed by Christmas" date, after searching and reading multiple negative reviews I was almost certain my order was not going to arrive before the holidays. I immediately called customer service to check on my package and was instantly directed to a person, no waiting, and to my surprise it was packaged and shipped the same day. They gave me a tracking number through fedex and I was able to confirm it was indeed shipped the very day I placed my order. Despite ordering after the guarenteed by date my items arrived 4 days before Christmas. I hope this review puts a few people's mind at ease, I was horrified reading reviews but instead I received excellent service and was very pleased!
Very disappointed in the Ravenclaw Robe XL for adults. The robe is cheaply made, not XL, Very thin material and cheap lining. I have always ordered my robes from Allivan. Every one of them was well made, totally lined in satin and wonderful material. Had a wand pocket and fit beautifully. Also, Allivan's price for their robe was $60. Cheaper. I will never order from the Harry Potter Shop again.
I ordered a shirt with the 2 day air shipping option because I needed it quickly. I spent 20 for the shirt and an additional 20 dollars for shipping only to find out it takes a week for the shirt to be printed. The order can't be cancelled even though it is within 24 hours. I am basically paying the cost of the shirt for expedited shipping and I have to wait 2 weeks to get the item. What a scam!
I placed a order Nov 24,2023 for my son for Christmas. It was 3 items. One item was delivered on Nov 29th, even though the packing slip said all three items were sent. I emailed customer service on Dec 2nd and haven't heard from them. I even used a different email that is on the packing slip if you are missing items. *******@harrypottershop.warnerbros.com. That email came back to me because the domain doesn't exist anymore.
I am disputing my charges with my bank tomorrow and reporting them to the BBB. Do not order from this place.
I ordered a costume in early Oct. The next day my credit card was charged and I was issued an order number. Nine days later I track the package. It did not ship. I check the website. It shows 1 day ship time. I call Harrypottershop.com. They do not have the costume and will not be getting it in. They claim that they will issue a refund within 24 to 48 hours. Two days later, no refund. I call again. They say they never charged the card. My credit card company says the charge went through almost two weeks earlier. The next day I call again. Claim the issued a refund the day before. The credit card company shows no refund. I finally have to call the credit card company and refute the charges.
I just ordered 3 items and realized I had ordered the wrong size. I called to cancel all 3 items within minutes of placing the order and start over --- but I was informed by Rebecca in "San Fernando" that they could only cancel 2 of the items because they use a 3rd party shipper. Nothing has shipped. But they can do nothing!

Same issues as other reviewers posted. Placed an order and was charged but never received an order confirmation email. Very difficult to get through to 'customer service' and when I did they said my order wasn't in their system and that it was up to me to figure out how to cancel it through my bank.
Took my money on December 2nd and aside from my call to HPS (which took 3 attempts) I've received nothing (contact, response, product, Apology!). Shame on me.
I guess the Harry Potter Shop is my 2019 internet scam blunder for Christmas.

This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. They don't ship things when they say they are going to, promise to cancel orders and don't follow-through, charge your account when they assure you that they wont', and ignore emails. STAY AWAY!
Do not shop here … they try to scam me but then my bank found out before me and canceled the transaction. If you want to go to Manhattan and shop there I'd rather you go because the online is a total scam. Don't $#*!ing Shop here.

Tried to order an expensive item in their black friday offer. It confirmed in the description that it could be shipped to the uk however I couldn't get any shipping costs due to a problem with the basket. I emailed the company and they reply 'If your trying to use PayPal, use a debit card' wtf?! I hadn't even gotten to that part. Clearly no effort was made to read my email so they must be rolling in sales. I can only conclude that the free gift the item came with stopped the shipping process so little I could do without aid from the company. I emailed this suggestion to them and it has gone unanswered. I imagine they will reply after their black Friday deal is over in order for me to pay full price. I will not be doing that and have gone elsewhere.
When I ordered a product online they had to call to verify my order and since I didn't answer they canceled my order. Now it's going to be pending on my credit card for 3-5 days and to place the order again I have to approve it by phone again! I just ordered it on Amazon to save the hassle.
I ordered a customized Slytherin Quidditch Jersey with enough time for it to get here before the persons birthday. The website said ships within 10 days. 16 days later I emailed asking for an update, they said they are experiencing delays. Another month of asking for updates goes by and they just told me they are experiencing delays. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS after I placed the order, they tell me they cancelled my order because the manufacturer is not producing the item anymore. 2 months for them to tell me that! So so so beyond disappointed with the service of this website, and the customer service being so unhelpful. Never ordering from here again, I should've read the reviews first.
Never sent the gifts we purchased. You'll never find a phone number to reach someone. Don't waste your time with them. Save your efforts and buy elsewhere.

I ordered 2 double feature DVDs on June 29th. Weeks went by and all it said was 'in process' so I contacted them and they said it was on back order. OK. So another few weeks went by and I contacted again. Same thing. Oh they're on back order we don't know when they will get in. OK. So I contacted again later. YESTERDAY the lady responded telling me they are DEFINITELY getting them just don't know when. OK. But then I just get an email telling me the DVDs were discontinued from their site and they were sorry. That's a bunch of crap. I ordered a MONTH ago! You couldn't just take the freaking DVDs off your site in the first place?! I am NEVER buying from there again! I've had 2 bad experiences with websites before but this one took the cake. If you know you didn't have enough product in the first place you shouldn't have kept it advertised then continued to lie to me about more coming in. Untrustworthy.
My daughter received a wand from her friend for a birthday gift. I contacted the site because it does not work. This crappy "company" will not do an exchange unless I contacted her friends family for their records/ email. What a joke! DO NOT USE THIS SITE. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Result -- apparently I must have blinked as they said it was sent -- it was NOT SENT! Filed complaint with PayPal and Warner Brothers. Will file complaint with BBB, Michigan State Consumer department, FCC, possibility the US Postal Service and ANY other online complaint forum. DO NOT buy from HarryPotterShop.com. I ordered the Godric Gryfindor sword on 27th of October and got the confirmation email and shipping the information not long after. It's now 18th if December and I am yet to receive the product. I've emailed the store 3 times and each time they tell them to contact the shipping company with tracking which I've done multiple times and they are yet to reply. I'm out $350 Australian Dollars and no product. This company is a joke who is failing to provide customer service and is stealing from consumers. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE
Placed an order on Dec 6th, never received confirmation but they charged my card. Nobody in customer service answers. People need to start filing complaints against this business.
I ordered a Slytherin wax seal kit on Black Friday weekend as a Christmas gift. The purchase went through, my card was not charged but was held in reserve, and I received a confirmation email with an estimated delivery date about a week later. Two weeks went by and I did not receive the item, so I contacted customer service. There was no reply via email and no answer on the phone. A few days later I looked up the item and saw that it was on back order with no available expected ship date. I was annoyed that the purchase had gone through if the item was back ordered, so I again attempted to contact customer service. I even filled out a form that specifically said "cancel order" and in it, I asked specifically for a response to be sure the order was indeed canceled. No response. I assumed (hoped?) it had gone through. I ordered the product from an Amazon seller and received it less than a week later. Fast forward to APRIL (4-1/2 months after the order was placed), and I get the product in the mail, and my credit card charged. I kept it because I can use it as another gift, but I will never order from this shop again.
The experience I had with this site was absolutely unbelievable! I placed my order on December 3rd. Apparently there was an issue with my rural address and they did not contact me until December 10th, a full 7 days later, to confirm my address. I then finally receive an email that only 1 of my 2 items had shipped and will not be arriving until December 26th, the day after Christmas! I specifically spent extra money to receive free shipping and my second item was apparently on back order which was never once communicated to me. I called in to see what could be done about my problem and waited on hold for upwards of 30 minutes before being transferred to a supervisor. Rebecca, the absolutely useless supervisor then proceeds to tell me that she cannot cancel my order or refund my money, the only thing she can do is give me a discount of FIVE DOLLARS! This is after I spent over $130 on gifts for my husband for Christmas. Her excuse is that this is high season for them and they cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas... even when I ordered a full TWENTY THREE DAYS EARLIER TO ENSURE IT ARRIVED ON TIME!
All I can say is that my husband and I are pretty big collectors and we will NEVER bring our business to this website ever again. Do not spend your money here as they will simply take it and run, regardless of how they treat their customers in the process.
