As I was in the process of ordering items this morning, prices in my cart changed within minutes! There was no time/date deadline on the price, so thought I had time to add other items, but chair in the cart went from $115 to $199! Luckily I double checked before I put my credit card info in as the price seemed much higher for the two items than I had thought! I called customer service but said it was just a normal price adjustment. Had never ordered from them before, but not inclined to do so now!
Bought my grand daughter a table set in May, table had crack on the side, it was for her birthday in July so we didn't put it together until last week. The company basically told me it was not their problem because we didn't un pack it and put it together right away. Now my grand daughter has a table that is not right and I am out 130.00 Never again. Customer service sends out generic letters to tell you tuff luck.
Ordered a decline bench, sent me the exact opposite, an incline bench. 2nd time they screwed my order up in 2 tries. Would not suggest this site to any one and will never consider them ever again when purchasing anything from them.
Sales help were knowledgble., patient and well versed in the products!
The return policy is simple, I can only say good things about the company.

Terrible people backing this site. Bought over $1,000 worth of "wind resitant" umbrellas. When they arrived, it was clear the aluminum poles were thin junk. Sure enough, the "wind resistant" umbrellas wound up bent (in one case almost 90 degrees) in the wind. Absolute garbage. Even after sending customer service pictures, they deny any responsibility. Oh, and after submitting a negative review for the product, guess what? It never showed up in their "reviews" section. What a bunch of scammers. A roll-up backed by venture capitalists, and smells that way...
I purchased a product in June 2017. Within 34 days from the receipt, paint started chipping off at random. Contacted customer service who told me that their return/exchange policy is 30 days. Now I have an item over $100 that looks like crap. I'll stick with retailers like Kohls, who after one year allowed me to exchange a Kitchenaid mixer even up due to a failing motor.
This was one of the worst experiences ever. I'm very disappointed. The order took FOREVER, I've had to deal with multiple charges against my card and several holds. Frankly, I've ended up with overdrafts, missed work waiting for shipping, and have been prevented from other tasks and purchases as a result. It really turned my life into a private hell for two months monetarily. Your HR and accounting needs a complete overhaul. The face of this store is appealing but unfortunately the experience behind the product was terrible. They attempted to give us 20% off to restart the service and purchase but that ended up in complete failure as well. NOT HAPPY.
Very bad experience. Tried to buy a student desk and after three days, they canceled my order with no clear direction for next steps. The biggest disappointment is their customer service, who have no interest in trying to resolve a problem and only want to cite procedures and standard speak. Will never try it again.
Ordered 2 Boraam Magellan 24 in. Swivel bar stools through Walmart/PlumStruck. ( Hint: don't pay for fast shipping) I rec'd the stools in 4 days, in good shape, well packed. Took 15 mins. To assemble! Wow, have put together a lot of furniture lately( new house) and this was a dream compared to most things I've ordered. Sturdy with a nicely done finish, good padding on seat.
Worst customer service Ive ever seen! Hayneedle delivered someone elses item and their representative made ZERO effort to sort this out. She suggested that delivery company calls me next Thursday ( which is a week from today) in order to arrange a pickup in another 3-4 business days. That makes it almost two weeks that i have to keep someone elses HUGE package in my living room. Moreover, i wont get my refund until the return (+ another 3-4 business days). That was the only solution heyneedle suggested. Then she advised me to take another day off from work so i can return the chair that i never ordered, otherwise she cant arrange a pickup for me! Not only they made zero effort to understand what happened, but also made the situation ( that was caused by company's fault) much worse. Take my best advise, Never shop with this company

Two weeks ago I ordered a table and 4 chair set. Yesterday I received an email stating that my item was now on backorder with a new 'estimated' delivery at least a month out. I attempted calling customer service yesterday but ended up needed to end the call roughly 20 minutes into the call. Called again today and it has been OVER AN HOUR and I'm still on hold. Mind you, the item in question was not 'out of stock' or 'on backorder' to my knowledge when it was purchased. Had it been so, we would not have ordered it. We even paid extra for the faster shipping. We will not ever be using hayneedle again and fingers crossed that we can get through to cancel our order and receive a refund...
I ordered a storage bed; footboard was severely damaged. First three inquiries were never responded to, but after another inquiry an agent apologized & said they would send a new footboard. Instead they sent a credit to be used at their site (without notifying me that it was a substitute for the replacement~ I thot maybe it was a good will offering- not!), but they don't offer a matching separate footboard, so I'm stuck with no replacement for the cracked & chipped one. The product is good quality, but somewhere during storage or shipping it was very carelessly handled, and they should make good on reasonable claims in cases of damage. I would NOT recommend this firm and will not use them again.
FYI as I worked in customer service for a short time... their customer advocates as they call them are far from PERFECT... not even close. They receive very little training and are thrown onto the floor to cover all kinds of duties. They are underpaid in a company that makes huge profits and most in my training class spent far too much time on their cell phones while supposedly learning the little knowledge they receive. Suffice it to say the bulk of their expertise is garnered from old google search... lol... we are told if you don't know about the products... which we didn't then just google it... lol... that's what you get for 10 bucks an hour...
I ordered 2 items via Walmart website. Both came damaged. I contacted both companies with pics and details. Here is what happened.
1st item from Hayneedle: "Sadly, due to restrictions on Marketplace orders, we are unable to offer partial refunds. So our first option would be for you to keep this as is." Continues to say I can return and reorder.
2nd item from "Best Deals and Bargains": "Sorry for the damaged item. We are sending a replacement with better packaging today. The tracking is USPS # "

My experience with Hayneedle.com is excellent. The product I ordered online from them arrived with defect. I was disappointed since it is a present for my husband. But when I called Hayneedle's customer service I was helped by a very friendly employee, who also gave me his direct line in case I would have further questions or would need more help. They apologized and immediately sent me an e-mail with instructions on how to return the item with FedEx, on Hayneedle's expense. I had paid the item with Paypal, and although the item wasn't picked up yet by FedEx and send back to Hayneedle, my money was refunded right away. Okay, so the item I ordered was defect, but that can happen with any company you buy from. Customer service was excellent and I just ordered the same item again. I'm confident this time it will be in order.
Horrible! I ordered a table, got an order confirmation with an estimated shipping date. I called them a few weeks later to find out the actual shipping date, but I was told that my order had been cancelled due low inventory! No one bothered to inform me. After that, they sent me someone else's order confirmation with the other customer's name, address etc... Order elsewhere!
I purchased a kids ride on SUV for my childrens birthday. I have had nothing but issues with the piece of junk and yet Hayneedle refuses to return or exchange the $300 product 50 days after purchase. I have had the manufacturer even send a replacement tire due to an issue I thought might help fix the charging problem, but it made no difference. Being a nice guy trying to do my due diligence instead of just returning the product is now screwing me over. Hayneedle.com sucks and I hope this piece of $#*! company goes out of business
We recently purchased this product. The website shows the image with table and chairs. There is nothing in the first page of the product which says that the chairs are not included. Only when you click the next tab product description it says that it's only the table. There are about 7 tabs in the product info. So it's not easy for shoppers to go by each and every tab to know about the product. This is very misleading. And when i try to return the product, looks like i need to pay a $40 for returning this again. At the end of the day I lost my $40 for shopping with you and I got nothing. I'm very disappointed with this. Please help to waive off the return shipping charges. The actual product cost is $100. Now the current price is $85 in website:(

I ordered a product shipped to my father as a Christmas present, delivery date 12/12. When I visit over the holidays I find that the item never arrived! Apparently my order was cancled due to inventory issues and I was never informed. Hayneedle was unable to even send me an email informing me that my gift would never arrive.
This didn't, however, prevent them from sending me 28 emails over the past month detailing their special offers, sales, etc; this has happened despite me specifically opting out of promotional emails when placing my original order.
This has been an absolutely awful experience and I would recommend that no one else should do business with them again.
