Free shipping and MUCH faster delivery than other companies I checked. And while I haven't needed to return anything, the fact that they don't charge "restocking fees" is appreciated (make note, Wayfair!)
Ordered ceramic bird bath. Packed lousy and arrived broken into pieces. Ordered a large purchase. Shipping date vague then said shipped. Never got it. Emailed. Said oh the shipping people lost the order, really? Did say they are crediting my money but in the meantime they had my money for like three weeks. Would never order again no matter how nice they appear to be. Surprising they are in business as it appears I'm not the only one with shipping woes.
What a scam! They say you can return an item. I spent $130 on an item that is defective. The website indicates my order number does not exist and no one in customer service will pick up the phone. I finally got a human by calling another number I found for hay edge and explained my situation. You know what I was told? That she cannot help me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.
I ordered a replacement tarp and paid 9.99 for 2 day shipping I was mad when I found out it has 3 day processing time. But then they got there within 5 days and the item was perfect. I am very pleased and happy with the product.

I ordered the "Coral Coast Parkway 47 in. Outdoor Wood 70-Gallon Storage Deck Box with Cushion - BOX*******010" directly from HAYNEEDLE.
I was contacted by hayneedle through sitejabber. They apologized and refunded the amount that I had paid. They suggested to discard the item. The box sways a little since the holes are bigger then the screws (probable because repeated assembly and returns) and not safe for me to sit (I am quite old, almost approaching 70). SO i will discard it. However, hayneedle was not only prompt in responding but refunding the purchase price was a very good gesture. They have again gained a customer and earned my sincere appreciation.

Ordered a Boraam Pub table and 2 chairs and it arrived on time. Order # was ************** for $362.38 total cost with shipping. But then the problems began. One chair was broken out of the box and there were not enough bolts to complete the assembly. The top of the table has a very fragile finish and came with paint blemishes along the edge. Cheap finish on the table. Called customer service and they were nice enough, and promised to get back to me, but never did. I sent them a rather harsh email explaining my frustration and asking for help. Guess what, I never heard back. At this point no surprise there. Hard lesson to spend about $350 and get broken junk. I spent three hours repairing the chair the best I could - not perfect. Set looks nice from a distance. Ha Ha. I will obviously never order from Hayneedle again.
My son got at most 2 hours out of a $600 gas powered Scooter that we bought through PlumStruck/Amazon. When I contacted the seller for an exchange or return, they wanted me to take apart the scooter and make some adjustments. I asked if this would void the warranty and never received a response. After several weeks I contacting them again about the warranty and they referred me to the manufacturer! I'll NEVER buy anything from PlumStruck again.
I bought 3 kitchen stools from Hayneedle. I paid over $700 a stool They all broke within 6 months of receiving them. After going back and forth with the company, getting new ones, returning broken parts, they wouldn't help me after 366 days of owning the junk that they sold me! Don't do business with this company! The underlining problem is that this store buys its JUNK from China and then sells it to us!
We purchased a gazebo from Hayneedle. Com and it came with parts missing and no instructions on how to put it together. After one E-mail to them, I got the instructions on how to put it together, but not the missing parts. Numerous E-mails to them and still no missing parts, just excuses and some money back. So, we now have a 90% assembled gazebo in our back yard that we cannot finish putting together. I would have to agree with most of the posts that this company has about the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Thank you Hayneedle for not caring about your customer and giving very poor customer service.
I ordered a cabinet from hayneedle that arrived looking like it fell off a truck twice. After you receive product that is completely destroyed, it will be on you to transport this to where they tell you to return it. Which will mostikely be a FedEx warehouse, and if one is not close to you, have fun hauling a 200 lb box to the next town.

Ordered a Krups coffee maker over a month ago. They proceeded to debit my bank account, but then cancelled the transaction without ever notifying me of it. Terrible company, do not do business with these people. Ive lost a month waiting and waiting...
This is a terrible company. We ordered a vanity set for our daughter and they sent us two of the same side mirrors and a lot of the wood was scratched. Obviously they sent us a used one. When we contacted them for a replacement set they offered us a $20 credit to go purchase a new piece with another store. Well $20 isn't going to get us very far and when we asked to return the set for a refund (at this point, after 6 emails, it wasn't worth arguing with them) they ignored our request and 4 more emails later we still have not gotten a response back. Now we are sitting here with a box full of wood that we can't use and our daughter is without her Christmas present. Terrible company, with terrible customer service. Don't waste your money!
Ordered and received 2 sets of 2 (total 4) Ventana outdoor patio chairs, they arrived as expected, undamaged, by FedEx, on time. Because they were so inexpensive I thought they might be shabby but am delighted with the appearance and quality. The negative reviews must be the only people who bothered with a review.

I have spent weeks calling Hayneedle. Customer Service has been a joke. I've gotten pushed around and was then told to call their contracted shippers.
Called them and got no where.
I've been on hold for over 40 minutes each time I have called and have decided to call it quits!
I am canceling my order today and hopefully will have no troubles doing so!
I will NEVER order anything from this company again. I highly recommend you look at your local furniture stores for items because this has been a horrible experience and could have all been solved if I had just dished out some extra $$$ to stay local.

Please stay away from these crooks! I ordered something, it never arrived... I called 2 weeks later to check on it and they claimed my bank declined the transaction. I asked why no one ever called me about it. They couldn't explain. This company is disgustingly shady. Their "supervisor" basically told me to shove it. BUYER! BEWARE!
Misleading online advertisement on a dining room set which turns out to be just the table itself. I was livid. I advised the delivery company to ship it back and contacted Plumstruck for a refund and they wanted to charge half of the price plus tax as a shipping fee! WTF! I demanded a full refund and ensured my bank get my funds back! Ridiculous! Don't buy unless you want problems!
Update: I was stunned to hear back from hayneedle offering me the right quilt free of charge... amazing, absolutely amazing. Original review: I ordered a king quilt and they sent the wrong item (their fault, not mine) and I can't seem to get my refund. They want me to send THEM proof that THEY recieved my return, which is just insane. I have now done that and still no refund. They were a third party on wal-mart.com so I am filing a complaint with wal-mart... terrible, terrible mess. Do not order from hayneedle.
Really bad. I wish I red more reviews before ordering my blankets through Walmart. I did not know that the site distributes through other companies. So to return and get my credit has been a hustle. Really bad customer service
Bought some bar stools and was overcharged for shipment. After discussion with shipping company they informed me that Hayneedle had entered the wrong information. Contacted customer service provided documents showing overcharged amount after several weeks they refunded me the amount.
PlumStruck should be called plumSTUCK... with junk. Very poor quality merchandise and customer service. Ordered a heated mattress pad for the winter. The main problem with this pad (there are many) is the wires protruding... not very comfortable for sleeping. I love shopping with Amazon, but using outside companies like PlumSTUCK have to be watched very carefully. Come on Amazon watch out for your customers.
After posting my reviews, Richard from Hayneedle's Escalation team contacted me, had the trucking company contact me and set up delivery, and also contacted Affirm to advise them the merchandise was being returned and to start the refund process. I appreciate the concern finally, just wish this could have been done to begin with. Nothing so dufficult just right. Thank you Richard

I placed my order with Hayneedle on July 30 for a patio sectional set from Walker Edison on their website the dimensions stated the furniture was 32 inches high when I received the merchandise on August 9 the merchandise was 26 inches high I called Hayneedle about this discrepancy and they said that they would need to check with the manufacturer could I please hold I said sure he came back on and he said the manufacturer said they do not ship out anything that small so I asked him you're telling me I'm lying then no I'm just telling you that the manufacturer said that that cannot be the correct measurements I told him again I can send you a picture where I have it measured and it's at 26 inches I also noted that on the lighting from the manufacture it says the height is 27 inches so the manufacturer who is calling me a liar even on their paperwork has the dimensions as 27 inches high which still is wrong so The representative from hay needle then told me I could have the item returned and they would ship out another one and I said well is it going to be a short one or is it going to be the right height I don't know I don't to ship it back out to you and I said no I don't want another short one and then he told me because we used their financing for 12 months no interest that I would have to get wait for them to come pick up the merchandise then it would be another two weeks before they will issue me a refund for the merchandise and that then after all that I could go ahead and I could go ahead and re-order in a month from them I said I need to speak with the supervisor he transferred me to a supervisor she told me all they can do is send a trucking company to contact me about when they can get the merchandise schedule the delivery and then it'll be two weeks after the merchandise is received before I will get a refund on the credit in the meantime when the payment comes do I have to make a payment on merchandise I do not even have because of their paperwork situation they cannot just issue things they have to go through all the different departments so in other words they send me the wrong merchandise I had to wait a day wasted day for us the wrong merchandise to come now I have to wait for the trucking company to call me to schedule another day where they can come pick it up so now I'm wasting another day and in the meantime I'm going to have to make a payment on merchandise that I don't even have because it will take approximately six weeks to figure out how to give me back the refund. The supervisor was so polite as to offer me the opportunity to order from Hayneedle again which I told her that will never happen and that I will be leaving the reviews on the Internet rest assured so this doesn't happen to any other innocent people
Ordered several plastic containers - had to return one due the incorrect size. Hayneedle DOES NOT pay for returns or provide return labels. Because the item was large, it cost over $20 to return a $15 item. Customer service was short, rude and abrupt. Will NOT purchase from a company that does not accomodate returns.
I only have one order through this company. Initially they kind of bungled my order. They refused to meet the lower price for the same item available through another vendor. Eventually a higher level service rep intervened and did meet the competitor's price.
Ordered a rug that according to their site was "in stock" on 2/10/13. Was supposed to receive by 2/21/13 on 2/19/13 I received an email from hayneedle cancelling the order that they could not fulfill! Will not use this site again, not worth the $20 savings!
I would give Hayneedle a -10 if I could. They promise that customers will be satisfied with products or they can be returned. From their website: "We will credit you for the total purchase price upon our receipt of your return. Products returned under this policy are eligible for a refund to the original method of payment. If you are returning a product that was originally purchased with a gift certificate or as a gift, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund." What they don't tell you is that they deduct for shipping. I was quoted a 10.00 cost for the return but they ended up deducting $17.00 from what I paid. They customer service rep. Was a moron and the company misrepresents itself. I can't believe that in this day and age a company would not stand behind it's customer service and refund the cost of the item. This company is horrible!
Item not as described, emails ignored, made every excuse not to return my money, i had to prove that i sent back items numerous times. They stated both that my tracking number expired and that it was sent back to the wrong address with in one hour of each other. Then only refunded my money for one chair not the two i purchased. Iam well over 20 emails and still no money in my account. Lesson learned. Read reviews before buying i thought i was purchasing chairs made for humans when the box came it wasnt to my knees and iam 5'4. My 2 year old grand baby was too big for these chairs. Buyer beware
