Free shipping and MUCH faster delivery than other companies I checked. And while I haven't needed to return anything, the fact that they don't charge "restocking fees" is appreciated (make note, Wayfair!)
Ordered ceramic bird bath. Packed lousy and arrived broken into pieces. Ordered a large purchase. Shipping date vague then said shipped. Never got it. Emailed. Said oh the shipping people lost the order, really? Did say they are crediting my money but in the meantime they had my money for like three weeks. Would never order again no matter how nice they appear to be. Surprising they are in business as it appears I'm not the only one with shipping woes.
I bought a baby boy basket for a gift to a couple that just had their first child. The basket was delivered when they said it would, and the parents loved the treats for them as well as for their new bundle of joy. Good experience.
It may look good as a website but a company is as good as it handles it's problems. I placed two orders for air conditioners THREE TIMES. Each time the orders were cancelled for no reason and each time i spoke to a representative they told me it was resolved and that i would get the delivery confirmation. Instead, i would receive an email notifying me without explanation that the order was cancelled. Eventually i found out that the item was no longer in stock. For 4 weeks i tried to buy from this company only to never get my items. I will not be buying from them ever again.
I do not normally write reviews, but please, as good as they might look, you are better off buying from Amazon.
I ordered a golf pool table light from Hayneedle.com and they sent me a light with old guys playing pool in a billiard hall. Then I had to send that light back and wait another 2-3 weeks for the correct light to come. Finally the second light arrived today. The light is supposed to have four sides to it and they only sent two sides and one of the sides that actually arrived is shattered. Honestly, who do you have working at your company? A bunch of meth heads? You take a purchase order grab the correct items and package it thoroughly in a box. Its not rocket science people. If you are reading this don't buy from Hayneedle.com. Pick another other company because there is no way they could possible be as bad as this company.

I just wanted to update my recent reviews of Hayneedle, and the issue I had regarding the chair that took 5 wks to receive. Not only did they step up and handle it, but when they did it arrived within 24 hrs. I stand corrected, and gladly so, not only with customer care but with their delivery service of choice. I'm extremely grateful to everyone involved who helped resolve this matter, and appreciate how quickly they responded when they learned of my situation. I'm so happy with my purchase, with Hayneedle, and a special thank you to the delivery scheduler Donna for her patience and understanding. I will be a returning customer after all, and can honestly recommend Hayneedle to family and friends whole heartedly.
I ordered chair cushions and I am very pleased with my order. The chair cushions are of premium quality and compared to other department stores that I shopped (and believe there were a lot of them) the price was amazing for the quality. My orders also arrived speedily and were packaged well so that they were in excellent condition when I got them. Very Happy
I have to tell Plumstruck how happy i am the Way the shipped this Bunk Beds very good Packing not a Scratch on them. I order them from Walmart. They made by American Furniture there beautiful. I give you Guys a 5 for excellent and a Star.
This was the dirtiest thing to do to make me look bad. A colleague of mine, just had a baby, our company sends out gift baskets for newborns. I decided to give Hayneedle a shot. When checking out, it asked for the Recipient's Email Address which I thought was odd, but maybe for tracking. I enter in the Recipient Address, then it asks if the Billing Address / Sender's info is different. Yes, I enter all of my info, but it doesn't ask for email address. I complete the purchase to find out that they sent the receipt to the recipient. How dumb is that?!
I called in to Customer Support, the woman I spoke with apologized, and said they're aware. I asked for them to send me the receipt and she said she was getting done work and that I had to call back to speak with someone else. Why the hell did you answer the phone then?! Worst frick'n place to do business with.
I purchased $1,200 in patio furniture and never received it (three times). I was assured each time that the problems had been resolved and three times they cancelled my order without any notification. I called multiple times, was assured the order had been released and that I would receive it within a few days only to find out, when I never received my product, that it had been cancelled. The level of customer service is awful and I will never order from them again.

Ordered bunkbeds for my daughter on Nov. 24th thinking they would arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. Site said in stock with a delivery date of Dec. 1st. Numerous phone calls and misinformation later I still don't have the bunkbeds. As of today, three of the eight pieces have shipped. I am incredibly frustrated and doubtful that I will have anything for Christmas!
Damaged pieces and it took me two weeks to get replacement pieces and they came in white for mahogany cabinet so I called again and lady was very rude! I will NEVER purchase another thing from this company
In mid April I ordered a Mesa-44" white ceiling fan from Hayneedle through Walmart.com. When fan arrived it was a Mesa-42" ceiling fan. I felt that it was an honest mistake and tried to get a hold of Hayneedle without success. I returned the fan and ordered another Mesa-44" ceiling fan which Walmart advised me to do. A few weeks later I received another fan. It was a Mesa-42" ceiling fan. I was totally upset. I tried to email Hayneedle but they said that my order number was invalid. I am at wits end. I still want the Mesa-44" fan but it appears that Hayneedle does not care about their customer service or correcting their stock on hand. I want them to overnight me a Mesa-44" white ceiling fan at thier expense or they can keep thier products and I will find another company to do business with.
I ordered an stone Angel statue for my best friend as a birthday gift... it arrived with a huge horizontal crack. I have emailed at least 5 times and as of this writing am currenty on hold for one hour as of this writing. I just don't have time for this. My poor friend has a huge broken angel to deal with, I am out $263.00, it is truly a shame and I feel responsible. Hayneedle, where are you? Why are you still in business? Are you happy you are making so many people unhappy with bad practices and non-existent customer service? Not refunding money for damaged merchandise? This is a form of fraud.
Ordered an item. They emailed me 4 days later to let me know that the order was cancelled. Called them and solved the billing issue but then they let me know that they could not ship to the address. I missed my deadline but I guess it's my fault, I should have ordered from AMAZON.com. I did and the item is on its way.
This company is incredibly frustrating to deal with. I had an order cancelled 5 times because their system couldn't handle different billing and ship to addresses despite me having a "customer service" agent place the order for me 3 of the 5 times. I guess this one is on me because as the saying goes fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Nice product that I was trying to order but they just can't deliver. I got it on Wayfair no problem.

I ordered a $79 grill cover. I checked every week for 5 weeks and never received the cover. They told me it was out of stock. I kept getting email promises. Then they told me i had returned the item. Goodby $79.

Ordered an Xmas tree from them three weeks ahead of Xmas, after two weeks of the order not showing a ship date on amazon we contacted them and kept getting the same generic help message. Eventually a real person mailed us back but then we never heard from her again.
A week after contacting them they finally told us that they forgot to place our order and we weren't getting an Xmas tree - but we could get our money back AFTER Xmas. They did nothing to make it up to us, never ever deal with this vendor!

I ordered a child's playhouse on Walmart.com. Before I even received it, the price dropped by $50. I contacted Walmart who sent me to Plumstruck. No one would match the new price and I did a lot of emailing to both companies. After we opened the box to assemble My Ceder Playhouse, we noticed a big chip out of the roof. FINALLY, Plumstruck agreed to refund my $50 and credit me $30 for the damage which we got fixed. Satisfaction!
First mirror was shattered and then I had one customer service representative lie and say I would get a replacement. The second customer service representative didn't do anything. The third customer service finally gave me my refund and sent me a replacement mirror. This mirror is also broken but it's the frame that's cracked and not the mirror itself. I'll just keep it. Not happy with it but I'll deal. Definitely not going through this again. Staying far away from them.
First time buying from them and had a couple of bad experiences. I should've known better to buy a full length mirror but the reviews seemed ok. Took the chance and bought a silver 67 height mirror. When it arrived the box looked ok and when I open it was well packaged. The mirror was shattered. I don't know if this happen at the warehouse or FedEx dropped it. I was disappointed and bummed out. I called hay needle and the woman on the phone said she would send a replacement. I called today to see if they will send me a tracking number so I can track it when they finally ship it. This new woman said it wasn't coming and that there wasn't a replacement sent out. Why the first woman would lie like that is beyond me. I finally just told her I want a refund. If I get the refund is a wait and see thing. It's a shame, I really wanted that mirror. I hope I see my refund soon. I'll be searching for a mirror again but not from hay needle.
There were some difficulties with my order (backordered), no fault of Hayneedle. This was for a jewelry armoire for Christmas. They got the order shipped, even sent it overnight. Great customer service.
I ordered an item on 12/18 and was told it would be here before christmas. 12/26 and no item so I sent an email and was informed that it would send out the next day and be here 1/2. Guess what? It's 1/2 and no item but, I did receive an email saying it is delayed and won't be here until 1/8. Ridiculous! I will never order from this site again.
Ordered white jewelry armoire to be shipped to another state. It was raw wood under lift up top, no paint, & globs of paint running down side. I complained so they sent another & it was even worse. They will not issue me a credit of any kind after waiting six months. It was packaged really well, that is why my son didn't want to deal with unpacking & repacking. What's up with factory inspectors. Bad business. I will never order from them again, they could have, at least, given me a credit... they want to continually send more items,,, go figure.
Beware offers of 10% off coupons on this site!
When first shopping on hayneedle they offered me a 10% discount with the restrictions that it was good for 72 hours. When I went shopping on their site on every page the 10% offer was a banner at top, with no exclusions. When i went to checkout the page would not accept my 10% off coupon. I called their 1-800 number and was told that there are a list of exclusions but they didn't know where. They were no where to be found on the site and were certainly not included as a link on the coupon. After 20 min on the phone with a cust sve rep did she find the exclusions list 2 pages deep in a help file. The exclusions included 100's of brands and probably 10,000's of items. They would not honor their offer and did not return letters of complaint requesting my 10% discount.
The customer service thus far has been nothing except lackluster. I ordered an item off of the Walmart website which unfortunately was sold by this third party marketplace. My order took over one week to arrive with no notification about whether or not it had processed, shipped, or arrived. Upon opening the package I found that there were no screws for which to assemble my furniture. It also wasn't exactly what I was looking for in the product so I contacted them to return it. On top of wanting me to cover the shipping costs, they also required me to buy a $16 shipping label. When I tried to argue further, they switched sales reps on me and just sent me nearly a copy and paste message of the original email asking me to buy the label to return the item. Terrible experience. I will not be buying from these people ever again.
Hayneedle informed me that the fee for expedited delivery was per order and not per item. Wrong. They charged me per item of furniture. Hayneedle informed me that I would receive my expedited shipment by a certain date. Wrong. The items were not even shipped out by that date. I then cancelled the order but the manufacturer sent it out anyway. Hayneedle is a website for a variety of manufacturers. They have no idea when the orders will ship and have no authority over the order once it is sent to the manufacturer. Wait times for customer service are between 35 and 45 minutes. I will never shop with them again.
I ordered my grandsons Christmas the first of October. It never came so I began making numerous calls about it. They kept assuring me it would be here by Christmas. I called again today 1 week before Christmas and was told they have no idea if or when I will get my order! I cancelled it immediately and will NEVER order from here again!
