Free shipping and MUCH faster delivery than other companies I checked. And while I haven't needed to return anything, the fact that they don't charge "restocking fees" is appreciated (make note, Wayfair!)
Ordered ceramic bird bath. Packed lousy and arrived broken into pieces. Ordered a large purchase. Shipping date vague then said shipped. Never got it. Emailed. Said oh the shipping people lost the order, really? Did say they are crediting my money but in the meantime they had my money for like three weeks. Would never order again no matter how nice they appear to be. Surprising they are in business as it appears I'm not the only one with shipping woes.
Even if you want to exchange and make additional purchases, you pay return shipping on the item that did not fit. This is short sighted business practice.

Called back, oops it's too far past our return date. We can't give you any money back or store credit. But you can sell it on eBay. Customer Lost for $250. WOW, what short term thinking. RESULT: LOST CUSTOMER FOREVER.
I ordered a 48" bookcase and waited a couple of weeks for it to arrive, the box was nearly destroyed by FedEx and there was extensive damage to several of the components. I called the "customer service" number SEVERAL times and was always sent to voicemail. I left messages asking to be contacted and was NEVER called back.
Do business with a reputable company and steer very clear of Hayneedle, all they want is you money and should you ever need service they are deaf.
I will NEVER purchase another product from this scam company and should you decide to just know that you have been warned.

I purchased a desk after looking at several reviews of several folding desks. Perhaps I should have gone with a different brand. Or at least with a company other than PlumStruck.
After receiving this item in August 2015, I unfolded the base, attached the top panel, and put in corner in my room. After that, I barely touched it. The heaviest thing I ever put on the desk was an iPad. I never even used it for my laptop.
In May 2016, I went to move it for the first time and it essentially just came apart. Now, the top panel won't stay attached to the folding based, so it wobbles. The pull out drawer, which I never used, now keeps falling out. The item is less than a year old, has been used very minimally, but doesn't even function as a stand, not to mention a desk.
When I contacted PlumStruck, I received the following response:
"I apologize for the trouble you are having with this desk. I know this must be upsetting. Because the item carries a 30-day return policy that has expired, we are unable to process your request. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
Surely, a desk should be able to sit idle for more than 30 days and still work as a desk.
BUYER BEWARE! If something sounds to good to be true it usually is! We ordered what was supposed to be a 14×8 rectangular trampoline with enclosure from this site. Even called and verified with customer service the price and what was included. Well folks, what we really ordered was one of two boxes of a trampoline. So basically we bought half of a trampoline! We were told if we wanted the 2nd box (the other half of the trampoline) we would have to pay an additional $195. We were told that there was a "glitch" in their system AND apparently the price was per box. Now who in their right mind would buy half of a trampoline. This company is total BS, NOTHING BUT A SCAM!
I ordered my item 21st july. They say they cant ship it till the 8th of august. But some peoples reviews said they got theirs in 2 days. I really hope i get my item when they say ill get it. They say some how an item shipped on the 8th will be here on the 13th. Really hope it will be. Also i need this item to help start my business if i knew it was going to take 4 week for an item to get to me i would have never ordered from them. Update they canceled my order! Thanks will never do business there again.
I ordered a few garden statues, I knew they were heavy and assumed a company in business for many years would know how to ship heavy weight fragile items, well you would be totally wrong. Instead of packing them individually they packed the two heaviest items weighing over 70-lbs together, and then the smallest statue of only 10-lbs by itself. Well of course the large box looked like it got dropped and a hole in the side as not weight markings on it. The statue broke off the rabbits foot. I even sent them photos of the box damage and warned them that whomever is performing their shipping fulfillment they should address the poor quality of their packaging and stupid method of over packing as costing them money. I got refund I will admit, so she really wanted this statue so I figured it was a mishap and try to order just that one again. Unbelievable that did such a bad job packing the statue and the box was damaged again and hole in box and this time not only the foot was broken off but the ear. To boot they could not even provide me the right tracking number as the email notification showed my supposed package going to Papillion, NE instead of Colorado. To boot this company does not offer any service support hours on Saturday for a shipping company this is horrible, I would warn all others to find your product elsewhere and purchase as this company is not one that is reliable.
Not a happy customer! Received my Halex Steel Electronic Dartboard with Cabinet.The best is this product came without the DARTS. NO DARTS! Suppose to come with 6 soft tip and 6 steel... NO DARTS! I called the company and they told me they have no darts to send to me. The told me they will send me a discount on DARTS... Horrible company to order from.

I bought a roll around outdoor beverage cart and one of the casters came out from the wood it was a very cheap design however there was a 1 year warranty but the manufacture will not stand behind it and neither would hayneedle... I have spent over $3000 with hay needle in the last 10 months but I will no longer deal with the company that will not stand behind their customer
I ordered a jewelry box as a Christmas gift. It showed up to my house about 4 days quicker than they projected. Normally that would have been a good thing. The only problem was that I would have shipped it to a different location knowing it would come so quickly. The box was marked in huge letters with the contents - thus taking the surprise out of the gift.
When I opened the box to look it over, and it was in good shape. Thank goodness I looked inside. The felt was destroyed in 3 of the 4 drawers. It was obvious there was no quality checks done. This was the Saturday before Christmas and I needed to get this replaced asap. Dennis from customer service was so gracious to offer me 15% off the price I paid to keep it "as is" or return it. What a slap in the face! I wanted a replacement in time for Christmas, but my request was ignored. Hayneedle has really helped make these last few days before Christmas a real pain in *******@ss trying to replace the gift.
I would highly suggest not ordering through these people. It appears to be a crap shoot if you will have a good experience or not. I played and lost even after reading the reviews because "it won't happen to me."
I ordered a sleeping bag on 11/06/16 through the Walmart web site. I checked some measurements later in the day and learned that the State of California has determined that this bag has chemicals causing cancer and birth defects. Since this bag was being given to a child, I tried to cancel this order the SAME DAY and was told I could not cancel as the order was being processed but I could return it to a Walmart store. WRONG,
Walmart would not accept it because it was a third party sale. So beware.
Please never has business with them. They never send item, veryyyyyyyyyy rude coustomer service, never say sorry, and charge extra money,. I put my card number and relise that they charge from me money, but I dont bought from them that day anything
Review of Hayneedle.com and Montego Bay deck boxes. I doubt the review I posted on Hayneedle.com will be published on their site, but I purchased two Montego Bay deck boxes and one koi fountain from Hayneedle.com. Less than 9 months later, the first deck box is literally falling apart. I lifted the lid and it split down the entire length of the lid close to the back edge. Hayneedle says there is no warranty on this, but to be sure and like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. Aside from the cost of $226.00 for each box, I also paid to have them professionally assembled at $50 each. As a senior citizen, this was quite a splurge for me and I am sick at having wasted this kind of money. I also purchased the blue koi fountain which cracked and crumbled less than 9 months later also. This company does not stand behind what they sell. UPDATE: Shortly after this review, the second lid fell apart on the other box. A total waste of several hundred dollars. Hayneedle's response: "We'll give you the phone number to the place we buy these things from."

Ordered curtain panels and glass pitchers from the site. The curtains did arrive in a timely fashion and shipping was fine. I did encounter some problems with this company and I don't think I will buy from them again.
1. I was never told that the pitchers would took an extra 2 weeks to be delivered until after I completed my order.
2. I ended up not liking the curtains and returned them. The return process was such a pain. They do charge for return shipping. Although on the site they said you can choose to ship it yourself and pay for it yourself, it was impossible to do so because of how they set up the auto return page. I ended up have to pay $18 to return 2 curtains that I paid $35 for both. If only I knew I would have just buy it from amazon. So the lesson here is, unless you know exactly what you are getting and you know you won't be returning anything, go ahead and deal with this company.
3. Once you gave them your email address, I was getting ads from them like every single day. Thank god I could unsubscribe so easily on gmail.
I am from Canada and placed an order with Hayneedle.com for a pair of binoculars. After waiting two weeks, I inquired as to why I hadn't received my order and was informed that they screwed up. They promised to send my order directly, which they did and I received it in good condition in a few days. They charged me $30.00 for shipping on a $120.00 purchase which was bad enough, but a week later I received a bill for $27.00 from Fedex. I called and asked why I was charged twice and they said that Canadian customers should expect to pay for border charges. They did not offer to compensate me for the extra charge. There is no mention of the extra shipping fee on their website and moreover I have placed several orders with US firms and have never had a double charge before. I feel the least they could have done was offer to pay the Fedex charges but they didn't see it this way. IF YOU ARE A CANADIAN ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY - BEWARE!
They scammed us with 2 fairly expensive futon mattresses. The material/thickness was not at all what we had ordered. We took pictures and wrote a review so other buyers would not get caught in the same trap. Bottom line:
THEY DO NOT POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS!
Unbelievable! The first time we checked after a week and and we couldn't find the review, in fact, there was only one (4star) review, period-which was odd to begin with.
We wrote the review again (with pictures of the items)- again, it was NOT posted.
Customerservice was lying twice about the issue.
We went on Amazon and found the same product and they actually posted the review.
Hayneedle is a very bad place to buy. Our order consisted of 6 things. 29 emails and 9 weeks later we finally gave up.

Walmart Its a small package. What a mistake, Don't you know what is going on. For years my Union always told us no to buy from Walmart. I guess we like saving a few cents.
So, I placed an order for an accent chair on July 2nd, and now is July 30th, y chair hasn't shipped. I called multiple times. Sent numerous email, and all I got were false dates of delivery that never happened. Many times was promised that there were not more delays, and yet, every time my order was placed on backorder. Today I contacted the customer service to cancel the order, to what she informed me that she is unable because the supplier already has the order to ship?! Really? The supplier had the order to ship a month ago, and it hasn't shipped. I told her that I want my order canceled no matter what and that I am not interested in waiting any longer. Now I have to wait for 72 hrs for the supplier to confirm my cancelation. This whole situation is very frustrating and I will never shop again through their website. I am completely disappointed with Hayneedle!
They blame the shipping company when all they would have to do is get a more accurate delivery date from the delivery company

In a nutshell, I had ordered couch cushions to be shipped to Hawaii and the order was canceled with no notification sent to me. Today I called to check on the status of my shipment and was informed of this. Very, very annoyed. I spoke to a customer rep today who is very nice and helpful and listen to my disappointment. He expedited it up the chain to see if it was possible to resend out to Hawaii. Evidently the problem was the shipping address was different from the billing address. Whaaaat? I believe that's quite common. Anyway I see an email now from Hayneedle stating my new order is being processed. I have requested that it be sent out priority mail but it looks like they won't do that even though it's holding up decorating my condo I plan to rent out.
We ordered 5 ceiling fans on sale. Only one was shipped and 4 put on backorder. Apparently Hayneedle were not authorized to put that item on sale. After promise after promise that the issue would be resolved "in the next 2 days" they now have stopped answering calls and emails. They are NOT and HONEST company. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!
I ordered an $80 item. Some how I received two of them. I went back and checked my order history and sure enough there were two separate orders for the same product, on the same day and within minutes of the first order. I checked my credit card and YEP, I was charged for two.
I contacted Wal-Mart first, be cause I originally ordered through them. However, they told me that I have to go through PlumStruck. They were nice enough, but would not pay for the return shipping. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR ERROR!
Purchased outdoor garden bench, I though, from Walmart. When order confirmation came back it was from some company named "PLUM STRUCK.COM" with a whole host of disclaimers from Walmart. The bench showed up with missing hardware, hardware that didn't fit and very poor assembly instructions. After I bought proper hardware I was able to assemble bench. I placed the bench outside in a covey adjacent to my garage. Couple days later a summer shower blew up and all the bench paint washed off and onto my drive way. I could not find no info in packing docs to contact PLUMB STRUCKas they had no phonev# listed and e-mail address was erroneous. This is SHAM company and WALMART is damaging their reputation by partnering with this sham.
My order arrived on time, but it does not fit because it is not the dimensions advertised in Amazon - so I am trying to return it... none of their websites work - what to do?
