I received a cake from my children for Father's Day 2024. When I received the package, I did not know what the contents were of the inside box. I received it on Friday, Jun 14th. I opened the outer box on Friday, but I waited to open the box inside the box until Father's Day June 16th, 2024 as the card attached to the inside box said Happy Father's Day. There was nothing on the shipping box, the inside box, or the card attached to the inside box, that you have to report any damage to them within 24 hours of receiving it. I was the recipient of the cake, which when I received it, I did not know it was a cake, so I did not know that I had to check the contents for damage. The company will not stand behind their product. I certainly would not recommend Hazelton's to anyone. I sent my grandma a gift basket of fruits, balloons and a card. She received old spotty fruits, without the balloon, without the card I ordered with our heartfelt message. To make things worse, their customer service DOES NOT CARE about customers. They just want to make money.

There is a reason this business does not have google reviews. Their baskets either do not arrive at all or arrive with missing items in a bedraggled condition weeks late. They do not accept complaints or refunds, and are not BBB accredited. Buying a basket = equivalent to flushing your money down a toilet.

The site looks legit. They do not actually have someone there to answer phones. I requested next day delivery, it's been 3 days and it's still not there. Now the receiver is out of town and not there to accept the package. No refunds at all. The food is probably bad. Don't ever order from here. Don't bother with their online chat. You will sit in "que" for an hour plus. They ruined my Birthday gift and aim out $350.00.

Lesson learned had I saw the reviews I would not have ordered. It's been over a week and I still haven't received anything. Customer service is shady and they all give you the same scripted responses. There are so many other reputable gift basket companies DO NOT order from them and warn anyone else.

First, order arrived late and there were no strawberries! Basket was broken and the gift card was missing. Cannot believe this business still exist and operating. Like many others, I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I ordered champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and cannot believe I paid $120 for a gift basket to arrive in this condition. The product quality was terrible and completely damaged. The customer service as shady - you can only speak to them via email where they were 0 help at all. If you want to order a gift basket, I would recommend any other company.
I ordered a Gift Basket for my daughter who'd had a bereavement and it was the most disappointing experience. I wish I had read other reviews before ordering it. I paid an extra $35 for a specific bottle of wine, they substituted with a $9 bottle. The basket was left sitting in a facility for three days so didn't arrive for four days after when we were advised it would be delivered. When it arrived both the cheese and chocolate had melted and had to be discarded. Customer Service Manager (Val) was incredibly unhelpful. Such a bad experience - do not recommend this Company

Everything in the box was expired or going to expire within a few days, minus a few exceptions. The Almond Roca was melted and stale. The red velvet cookies showed them dusted with powdered sugar and pretty, they were plain and broken and tasted like sawdust. And they were to expire in a week.
We had to hunt down a family member to see who sent the box, as it said it was to, and from the recipient. "say what?". One thing was correct in the custom basket, the sparkling wine. Obviously this is not a company run by legit business people. They are acting like they are, with the glorious photos, Reality bites! If you look at the website closely you will see bad grammar. A big clue!

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I paid for same-day delivery, and they refused to deliver it the same day. After much back and forth, I asked for a refund and to cancel it (before anything was made or delivered), and they refused. The customer service rep I spoke with was so incredibly rude. I wish I had looked up the company before placing an order with them, because every website has lots of 1 star reviews. This company is a scam.

I ordered flowers for my mother's 92nd birthday and paid for the 1 day shipping. It is now 2 days later and still no delivery. Customer service told me to wait 1 - 2 more days. Why would I pay all that money for flowers that are 4 days old? I don't even think there really are flowers being delivered. When I contacted them by email they didn't reply and the customer service rep was rude on the online chat. Steer clear!
I have never posted a negative review in my entire life. As soon as I purchased the item and realized its delivery date was misrepresented by the website and I tried right away to contact and speak to their representative, but all my efforts landed nowhere. For hours and days no one from this company answered my calls or computer chat line. When the basket arrived, on the wrong day, the content of it was awful and it was an excruciating embarassment of a gift which cost me almost 200.00 I'd like my money back but this is a scam company.

Complete scam. Ordered the gourmet chocolate strawberries with champagne and champagne glasses and I upgraded with gourmet cheese. Gift delivered was late, and they got dollar store cupcakes, a bottle of rose, no flutes, expired chocolates left over from Christmas! Don't use them!
I ordered a gift basket including a birthday pie for my son. The pie arrived completely smashed. When I spoke to the head of customer service I was told that it was my fault for ordering perishables and that I should have read the fine print. As " a gesture of goodwill " they offered to refund half of the price of the pie. I was appalled and embarrassed that a gift would arrive in such a condition. I wanted a replacement pie not a refund. Ordered a $250 GIFT basket which is their business niche and it's been 6 days past the delivery date with no explanation as to why. Don't bother with this scam of a company; customer service couldn't care less and will do absolutely nothing for you. You're recipient will just get their GIFT a week late at full price.
Oh and they're banking on you blaming the courier but they promise your delivery date in 2 days yet they ship it 'Ground' through the carrier which is almost impossible so they know exactly what they're doing.

I ordered the champagne and strawberries. On the website, it said that same day delivery was available. To make sure, I called customer service. At first it said I was 2nd in line for the agent, and that I would have to wait 1 minute. Then it would add minutes every time I was told how long I would have to wait. I never did get through after 3 times and an hour waiting on the phone. My delivery was 5 days late. They also did not allow me to cancel. It is a terrible company. Avoid at all costs
I ordered a gift basket to be sent on December 23,2022 and the order was never shipped and never arrived, yet they still charged me for my order. I emailed the customer service department repeatedly to find out how I could get a refund and they refused to refund me my money despite the fact they never sent the basket. I am still fighting with them to get my money, but their customer service and service in general is horrible. Do not suggest you order from them as I think it is a scam. You will get charged but no product!
