I am happy with the service provided for my 3 beautiful gift baskets for my sons. They baskets were good, delivered on-time and without any issue. Thank you, Hazelton's. The service was top-notch and I have been able to track the order. Everything was so easy.
I received a cake from my children for Father's Day 2024. When I received the package, I did not know what the contents were of the inside box. I received it on Friday, Jun 14th. I opened the outer box on Friday, but I waited to open the box inside the box until Father's Day June 16th, 2024 as the card attached to the inside box said Happy Father's Day. There was nothing on the shipping box, the inside box, or the card attached to the inside box, that you have to report any damage to them within 24 hours of receiving it. I was the recipient of the cake, which when I received it, I did not know it was a cake, so I did not know that I had to check the contents for damage. The company will not stand behind their product. I certainly would not recommend Hazelton's to anyone. A card on the package saying to check for and report any damage within 24 hours of receipt would have resolved this issue, now they will not stand behind their damaged product. Very poor support on their part in my opinion.
They guaranteed the basket on a certain day which was the only reason it was ordered! Then it was delivered 6 days later (AFTER repeated calls and emails asking to be canceled) to the house where the people were not there. They had plenty of time to cancel the order since they did NOT deliver it on the Guaranteed date they said they could have it there! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO DO THE RIGH THING! If you like throwing your hard earned money away though...this is the place.
Tip for consumers:
If you want to throw your money away then order from this company

Ordered 2 baskets before Christmas, now January 4 and they still haven't be delivered. No CS follow up
Tip for consumers:
Customer Service is non existent, they basically answer email with a “nothing we can do” approach

Nothing as this was intended as a Christmas gift but never (to date) arrived
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! NOTHING THAT WAS SENT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BASKET, A SCAM! DO IT YOURSELF NEXT TIME AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HOPES. DISGRACEFUL! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

it will all be consumed i am sure, it was a gift for rosh hashana. who reads the terms and conditions of gift basket services? i paid $$$$$ for a basket that i should have paid $ for due to their "substitution" policy. WTF is this
We ordered a Canadian bro crate ($100+ and received a completely different shipment).
After several emails, we received the following which basically states that they can send whatever they want, regardless of your order from Miko at Hazleton:
" We're sorry to learn that you are not satisfied with the products delivered. We do take careful steps to ensure that all orders exceed expectations. However, as per our substitution policy stipulated in our terms and conditions, at times substitutions may be necessary to fulfill orders in a timely manner, especially in the event that an order is time-sensitive and intended for a special occasion.
Substitutions are actually quite common within the gifting and gift basket industry, as products are constantly changing on an ongoing basis after product details and photos have been published. Some items may be temporarily unavailable due to various reasons beyond our immediate control, under which circumstances we reserve the right to substitute such items with similar products of equal or greater value to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner without incurring further delays. Degrees of substitution may vary. In some rare instances, the entire contents of an order may be substituted.
Due to the high volume of orders being processed, we are not always able to contact customers ahead to advise them of substitutions. By placing an order you accepted our terms and conditions, and thus agreed that the order may consist of products that differ from the original product description. Furthermore, you agreed that you are not entitled to refunds or compensation under such circumstances, as per our refund policies: "NOT AS DESCRIBED & SUBSTITUTIONS - Where a package is 'not as described on our website' and/or we have substituted item(s) in a gift/gift basket that are in compliance with our 'substitution "

It was a gift for a friend.
Oh wow I should have checked the reviews before I placed my order! Hazeltons gift basket delivery is a major scam! I had a horrific experience. I ordered 3 items and paid for next day delivery. They did nothing for 5 days, after which they delivered only 1 item out of 3 - a leaky box with squishy flowers. No basket. No gourmet foods I paid for. No custom card I thoughtfully wrote. The box didn't have "this side up sticker" and there was water all over the box, flowers got smashed. My friend texted me asking to file a complaint and I sent the screenshot of her text to Hazeltons (they didn't care). This horrific "surprise" delivery made a huge mess at my friend's office and I had to APOLOGIZE to her for sending a gift basket lol. And, because it was five days late, I already saw my friend in person and it was so awkward asking "did you get my surprise delivery yet?" This is ridiculous, luckily it was for a friend so we laughed it off.
Valerie, on the other hand, is not up for laughs! Valerie (conveniently no last name provided in work correspondence - now I see why) is one of those "Customer Service" Managers who is incredibly rude, mean and toxic. She basically screamed at me via email for 90 minutes straight (attaching some screenshots for your entertainment - yes I took time of my day :) I complained that delivery was late, messy and 2 items were missing and she continued requesting photos. Of what? Leaky box in the dump? Items that you never delivered? My friend's face when she had to clean up all that mess? Maybe a photo of a calendar that shows what "next-day delivery" means Anyway, after weeks of fighting they refunded me $23 out of $98 lol. Luckily, my bank refunded the full amount as I reported them as a fraud. There is also always BBB where Valerie can be reported for terrific Customer Service :) Just don't order from there, try and find a local delivery service. Hazeltons is a fraud no place with 46 1-star reviews should exist
Terrible service - DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY
Very dissatisfied with my purchase. If I could, I would give 0 stars. I requested my gift to be delivered on a specific day because my friends were getting married and after that they would be on their honey moon. This company did not deliver the gift basket on the day I selected. They tried to deliver on the following week, and of course, my friends were not at home on that day because they were on honey moon. After that they took the gift to another place to be picked up, but nobody would be able to pick it up, as I live 4 hours flight away, and my friends were on their honey moon. I contacted customer service and explained the whole situation, they were not helpful and rude, stating that they would not give a refund if the gift was not picked up and that the blame was on me. They also didn't leave a note at the door of my friends house asking them to go pick it up and saying the exact address of where it was. I still have not solved the problem. I am trying to get someone else to go pick this up as they would not give me a refund for this terrible misunderstanding. I regret enormously to have spent my money on this company, I should have bought from a local company that cares for their customers. PLEASE DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY TO HAVE A GIFT BECOME AN INCONVENIENCE!

I ordered a cake, flowers and a bottle of champagne. Box came with a smashed cake and no champagne. Do Not Order from here.
Poor service. Not delivered as promised. Customer service response did not address concern. Would not recommend to anyone.
Tip for consumers:
estimated delivery date is WRONG
They sent cake and strawberrys not packed on ice and it spoiled by the time it got there, no refund or response.
The other half looked very badly. The price was very high (more than 200$). Customer service gives no refund.
The order was not delivered on time (for the birthday) and some fruits were not added to the package at all.

I ordered a housewarming gift (a fruit basket) for my daughter and was skeptical because there were some definite red flags during the ordering process. They asked me for a delivery date so thinking it was like a flower shop, I picked that same day. Then as I got to the end of the process I found out that it was going to be shipped. It said deliveries in the U.S. were free so I assumed they must be a global company and had shops everywhere. This was a bad assumption. My fruit basket was not shipped until 3 days later from the East coast (my daughter lives on the West coast). It was in transit for a week. Nothing was what I ordered, and I do mean NOTHING. Everything had been substituted and by the time it got there, most of it was damaged and rotten. I had paid extra for chocolate covered fruit and that was not included (although it would have been inedible by the time it got there anyway). The substitutes made no sense. Instead of Asian apples the substitutes were lemons and limes. Instead of a pineapple, it was a little bowl of rotten grapes. Instead of crackers to go with the cheese, cookies. Even the basket with the removable lining was substituted with a completely different basket and no lining. There was supposed to be a little cute wooden bucket that was completely omitted. When I tried calling the company, I got an automated response telling me to leave my order # and they would get back to me with an email. They never did. When I sent an email with pictures and an explanation of the problem, I got a short response telling me I wasn't entitled to a refund and that I should have read their FAQs explaining they are not responsible for the condition of the produce when it arrives. I have attached photos. One is what I was expecting and the rest is what I got. Do you think I am due a refund?
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it. Deceptive. If something goes wrong, customer service is non-responsive and they will not make it right.

I have never written a review of a company in my life (and I'm 60 years old), but I feel compelled to in the case of Hazelton's because I am shocked at how I've been treated by their 'customer service'. The 'Manager' Oscar sneered at me and was extremely rude, and when I said I was protected by consumer rights, he said, 'Yeah, good luck with that'. I spent a large sum of money on a hamper before realising almost instantly it was a scam company after finding out they don't reply by phone, they have no provision for gift cards, and online reviews said hampers that were delivered in no way resembled what was pictured online. When I tried to cancel the order minutes after making it - i. E. before it was prepared or shipped - Hazeltons said no refunds were possible and shipped it anyway. I tried to have goods returned to them but the courier company said order for a return would have to come from Hazeltons, and the latter refused to receive the goods back. When I said my bank was looking into this, they said they weren't bothered and I wasn't getting a refund. Anyway, bank has upheld the fact that they have acted dishonestly and contrary to consumer rights and has reimbursed me. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR FRAUD
