Dr. Svestks listens to you explains exactly what he's doing and makes sure you understand the whole procedure he has a wonderful bedside manner and is very kind and caring. I had the best experience with him and Fair oaks hospital I have ever had and I have had a lot. So if you are looking for a general surgeon who is awesome in the hernia field, look no further than Dr. Svestks
Health Grades Reviews is biased and will delete reviews without just cause. I have posted numerous reports of negligent and unconciounable practices by Sutter Health, it's doctors, supervisors, management, and executives and the posted comments are removed. Don't trust them. They apparently filter comments based on pressure by the people/places being reported.
I followed Dr. Van & the PT instructions plus just a little more. If I started to hurt I informed them and would cut back. When in water therapy I walked the full hour. I did not stop to visit or rest. At three weeks I started walking up the stairs & then up and down, At 6 weeks I was hitting golf balls. At eight weeks I walked over 1 mile on the golf course.
I don't know anything more important than following the directions given by your doctor & PT
I want to recommend Dr. Richard Thunder, orthopedic surgeon. He repaired my L3, L4 and
Everything went very smoothly. Dr. Thunder is very low key and direct. He answers all your
Questions. I would not hesitate in recommending any family or friends to him for their
Orthopedic needs
Dr m. Shane dawson is a fantastic doctor and surgeon he comes highly recommended i was admitted to the hospital on friday afternoon and promptly operated on saturday morning very good experience at lenox hill hospital in new york city
Dr. Marta I. Rendon, MD Dermatology in Boca Raton, FL is what every person that lives in this state needs for great skin care. We're the lucky ones to have her here in Boca Raton. I've been with her for ten years and she's taken more than just a doctor patient interest in me. She is never in a hurry, checks you over really well with no feelings of being uncomfortable. Gives you samples for what's she's treated and answers any questions you may have. I've been a beach goer for over fifty years and my skin looks at least ten years younger than it should because I have a Dr. that knows what she's doing. Thanks to this great lady who has done her job so very well. Her staff is also very caring and the office is a work of art. I highly recommend Dr. Rendon, do something really nice for yourself and make an appointment to go and see her.
I am a doctor and I got a call about "fixing" my reputation on healthgrades.com and was offered several packages ranging from $300-$1000 dollars to make myself appear highly rated and to "make the bad reviews go away" Anyone can put a snarky review about you without even being your patient and then the internet mafia needs to help you fix you problem. This should be illegal!
I reviewed 2 doctors. The one I rated really good worked and sent me a link to verify my review and the crappy review did not. The doctor that got the bad review seems to be in with the health grades site since he shows up more than a few times on the site. If we cant be honest this site does the public no good.
I recently saw a TV commercial on Weight Loss Institute of Arizona, on lap band surgery. I made an appointment at the office closest to me. Since I had failed many times at losing weight, I needed more information. The office personnel, medical assistant, dietician, and Dr. DeBarros went over the program. They explained what tests were required to see if I was a good candidate for the procedure. Everyone was very professional - yet kind and gave me hope. With the help of the staff and Dr. DeBarros' experience, I knew I would succeed at losing weight this time.
While it must be difficult to keep tabs on all the physicians that switch offices every few years, this website doesn't seem to even try. And Healthgrades makes it very difficult for the physicians to update their information as well.
Information listed on HealthGrades is not accurate and usually posted without the providers consent. Use public health records to set up "ghost" profiles and allows anyone who sets up an account to create fake review regardless. Sites like HealthGrades have a reckless disregard for ensuring honest and accurate information is being to the public.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use the site if you are looking to obtain credible information on a medical provider.
This facility is so bad with communication and blames the patient for all kinds of things that are obviously there office their doctors are also show no compassion whatsoever for their patients and reduce you to nothing. They are accusatory to their patients make false claims about appointment she never had a they tried calling you aren't answering the phone when there was never a phone appointment made ridiculously horrible to some patients which makes it very obvious that they discriminate when they feel like it and the desk do their damage are ridiculously negligent to patient and discriminatory to whoever they please I have found that there are lies there than trustworthy people as far as the doctors go I haven't seen it yet no bedside manner or compassion towards a patient at all and getting medications that are obviously bad for the patient when put together they don't care I don't think they should be certified by anything and if I had my way
I've used this site in the past and it worked well. Today the site had no results for either my zip code (I'm in the USA) nor any doctors in the specialty I'm looking for. I tried several different ways - nothing. What on earth is happening.
My husband and I have both had the pleasure of Dr. Nellans being our urologist for approximately the last two years. His first contact was with my husband when he was admitted to the Kingman Regional Medical Center as an emergency patient. Dr. Nellans assisted him with kidney issues, including performing a surgery at that time. He was very helpful, easy to talk with and an all-around "great doctor". I have had an issue recently that sent me back to Dr. Nellans and my/our opinion stays the same. One great doc!
Using minimally intrusive techniques, Dr Keiper repaired my seriously injured spine after three other specialists failed to make any improvement. There was no significant pain and the recovery time was astonishingly brief. I returned to Dr Keiper recently when an accident resulted in injury to one of my vertebrae. Dr Keiper was successful in controlling this exceedingly painful injury and has been constantly available to meet any needs arising from this accident. His staff, and particularly PA Ralph Peterson, are also highly competent and a pleasure to deal with, reflecting Dr Keiper's insistence on excellence and service.
Eye Care Specialist I would like to give credit to two individuals from my initial visit. Abby was very informative, listened patiently and took her time in explaining the procedure. Valerie at the Rutter Ave. Office took the time the following day to review my schedule in detail. Certain details were not mentioned previously, such my follow upDr. Visit one day post op
Very Professional! I return to work next week after being out of work for 2 months. The entire staff are on point from the receptionist to the Doctors. Very Satisfied!
My wife is very happy that I'm returning to work :((
Thank you all so much!
This is the worst possible site that you should go to. The survey results and the doctor's information were largely skewed. Anyone, your patient or not (could be your neighbor who never receives your services), could rate your service without any accountability. This site is not good for both consumers and the doctors. The company kept saying that they aim to serve the public, but the simple fact is this: "if you have no way to make sure the information and the survey are the accurate reflection on the services, you are not only not doing your job but also creating more damage to the public and the reputation of the hard working doctors"
I am waiting for the day that this company is taken down by lawsuit.
A Great site to use to research doctors and hospitals! So glad I found this site when trying to find an orthopedic doctor. I also love the fact that you can see how the hospital ranks among it's peers. Definitely helps when there are multiple hospitals you can go to.
This is a for-profit site full of fake, positive doctor reviews written by doctors offices and the like to boost their sales/ clientele. Positive reviews are posted directly after negative reviews and tend to contradict word for word verbatim what was posted in a negative review. Doctors can create their own profiles for free and those that are unethical can lie about their credentials. There are no checks and balances verifying that the information is accurate. Stay away. Check credentials, complaints, and malpractice information with your local court, the state medical board, state dept. of health, and BBB.
I had the pleasure of being his patient for a short time. I found him to be very well informed, very knowledgeable and set the patient at ease at the same time. He took a real interest in providing the best "quality of life" he could. He's one of the few doctors I've met in my lifetime that was truly committed to the patient's concerns and well being.
My mother and myself both went to Dr. Shannon Becker and we wrote reviews to HealthGrades. They were accurate and respectful. Neither of our reviews were used. They have this doctor looking like she is competent when she is not. She is also rude and cruel. I hope people will be able to see through HealthGrades.
John M Duffy PT I looked forward to my appointments with Duffy, besides helping me physically he explains your issues and teaches you the proper way to exercise and heal the problem. Always upbeat, a smile on his face, a relaxing environment and willing to talk and answer questions. I always leave my appointments feeling better mentally and physically. Thank you Duffy
I have also use this site to review drs. And and found the reviews inaccurate. All I have ever seen were good reviews which makes me kind of think as to why when I have looked the same dr. s up on other sites and found totally different reviews. I personally have gone to drs. Trusting the reviews on this site; and will never trust it again.
Health Grades is a subjective website that is dangerous for patients and physicians. As a physician you have to make hard decisions. If you do not give a drug seeker a narcotic it may result in a bad health grades review. But that does not change the fact that the drug seeker should not have been given a narcotic. This site is irresponsible, subjective and deceptive.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site
I recently required thoracic spinal surgery. Dr. Cohen was recommended to me by my neurologist. From the moment I met him I knew he was the doctor I wanted to operate on me. And based on my experience I certainly made the right decision. Prior to the complex operation Dr. Cohen explained everything that was going to be done to me in terms that were very clear. After the operation Dr. Cohen visited me every day and sometimes twice a day. In my opinion he a doctors' doctor! I am so I impressed with his take charge attitude with hospital personnel and other doctors. I am also impressed with his impeccable surgical skills.
I would also like to comment on Dr. Cohen's office staff. They are a pleasure to speak to. They make you feel special no matter which staff member you interact with. They take care of everything and are extremely knowledgeable in the field.
I wrote a 3-star review of a certain dermatologist. I waited over a week, but it never showed up. Then I tried writing another review. Again, it never showed up. According to other reviewers, HealthGrades only wants POSITIVE reviews.
Anyway, this site doesn't seem honest at all. Please go elsewhere.
Healthgrades reviews doctors and hospitals, as well as dentists and dialysis centers.
