After much searching I bought Devices from "Hearing Life." Unfortunately the previous Tech. Pursued other avenues... but Leslie Murphy kept the service and professionalism of this facility alive. Leslie has been working hard with me to fine tune my hearing aids, and I'll have to admit, very patiently. Thank you Hearing Life and especially Leslie for your help. Egon S
Customer service lacking of a certified technician. Tech has a very sour disposition. Always seems that she doesnt want bothered with your problem. I have purchased new hearing aids in the past but dont think I will purchase from this center again.

Aids purchased OCT. 2025. Several issues with no satisfaction. July 1 2024 called for appointment for a simple speech booster adjustment, the receptionist said a $300.00 charge would apply. I went to different Hearing aid store for the service, I paid $30.00 for the service. My aids are under warranty but I will not return to hearing life on Douglas Bl in Roseville, Ca

I was given a stack of batteries that were all dead. Next I was given a stack of batteries so heavily child-proofed that I could not open them. I brought them back and had the manager open them for me. And give them to me in an empty Tylenol bottle. Got that stack home - to find once again, they are dead batteries. None work. Called the office who was very rude and told me to stop complaining and hung up on me. I am now calling Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office.

I tried hearing aids from Hearing Life. They were rude and lied to me. The Oticon Brand partially own the company. I tried the Oticon brand and the sound was awfull. Shrill and tinny and music was unlistenable. When I asked about Phonac, the audiologist said they were $10,000 a pair and that was a lie. They tried to charge me $2000 more than the price advertised on their own website. Stay away from these people.

Advised to buy hearing aids in 2021 to avoid price hike. Was told Hearing life had an agreement with insurance company so that if we bought our hearing aid before the end of the year that we would owe nothing. Over 18 months later we started receiving bills for combined total of over $3000.00 for the hearing aids my wife & I bought.
Talked to district manager and he said he would get it resolved as he was familiar with the issue. Never heard from him again. His telephone number is always busy - called over a dozen times. Customer service is difficult to get through to and of no help when you do get through. One exception is the last call made where the representative said she could not help, but she promised to bring it up to her supervisor and I will be contacted.
Pretty much very frustrating trying to get issue resolved. Next step if supervisor doesn't have valid answers is to forward everything to an attorney.
Tip for consumers:
Go somewhere else even if your insurance lists them as being the only ones in their network.

When I purchased my hearing aides through them last February, I was delighted & pleased they were there to help. Just a couple of days ago, I was presented with their new price plan for charges for every service or the option to pay lots of $ for a 1-year plan or 3-year plan. I cannot afford to continue with these exorbitant prices, charges per each ear adjustment is only one of the items. I am very disappointed in this company.
My wife and I went there because they offered a oven toaster which I could use. We both went through their exam but I never got specifically what they offered. The other thing that occurred to us is that anyone's hearing would improve with amplification. It is a come on marketing ploy.
I paid over $4000 for hearing aids from the Indianapolis location almost 3 years ago. Never worked properly. Went back several times & they adjusted them & they worked fine for 1-2 weeks & then they completely stopped working again. I went to 2 different locations & the same thing happened each time. I went back a couple months ago & they told me I had lost 20% of my hearing because I had not been wearing my hearing aids. I got tired of driving several miles every 2 weeks to have them fixed. I will have to say the people working there were very friendly & polite.
I had a great experience with the "provider" that helped me. I ordered my hearing aids and was looking forward to the fitting. I got a message saying my devices arrived and call to make an appointment. I made multiple phone calls over several days to get my fitting. No call backs. I finally got through to a person who told me that my provider left the company. And oh, by the way, another store in the area is closing because there is no provider. Next available appointment is in 4 weeks. Concerned that I just got ripped off and I won't be able to get my hearing aids serviced. Starting to wish I'd bought the hearing aids from Costco.

I know stores are still closed but I lost a part of my hearing aide so I can't turn the volume down. Since my store is closed, I've been trying to get through to the customer service number. Three times now I've waited over 30 min. I've been on hold now for 30 min plus. No one wants to take calls. It's the only number you can call and they say our call is important and they will get to us but how long? There are some people who are still working, me being one of them. I don't have time to stay online. I can't wear just one hearing aide. My voice echos back to me. How hard is this to just need one small part and I can't get help.?
Hearinglife is the biggest scam ever. I admit I got taken. $7000 hearing aids. Horrible service after the initial sale. I would never recommend them for any hearing services whatsoever. DO your due dilligence and research. There are many reputable companies out there that are wonderful. Do not give Hearinglife any money. As I purchased them several years ago I do not have a receipt. I am a 60 year old man that was taken because I was not educated about hearing aids.
Tip for consumers:
Please do your research before buying such expensive devices. And I definitely suggest to not spend your money at HEARINGLIFE!!!!

I purchased hearing aids from the Roanoke Rapids, NC office for my mother and they were wonderful. David was so patient with her and took lots of time getting things just right so she could hear better. Also I have had 3 other family members purchase from this office. They are always available when we need help or supplies. We are so happy.
Tip for consumers:
They have some products in the office. I went home with mine the same day.

Product malfunctioned 3 times during 30 day trial period. At 32 day mark during the height of the pandemic they refused to refund me due to being 2 days past contract terms. They have my money and never returned my repaired hearing aids. I feel like I was robbed. Will be filing claim with better business bureau and contacting my attorney. Don't do business with this company!
I love their service and they are awesome the one in South Ogden by Ogden Clinic on 42 ND and Harrison Blvd. They have tested my hearing test and change my hearing aids update which made me feel a whole lot of better they treat their customers with respect and they are just awesome. I have had customers at my job who is hearing impaired ask where I got my hearing aids and I tell them where they are located. Hope these customers come. Also my friends.

I got my rechargeable hearing aids. I'm so excited hope this works out better then other hearing aids cuz my batteries would keep dying so fast and it frustrating.
Hearing Life is a rip off, do not use them!
I went last year and my hearing tested and yes I do need hearing aids. I was told to wait until March of 2020 approx. 6 months after my visit because insurance will cover my hearing aids at 100%. When I did hear back from Hearing Life I contacted them about my hearing aids and I was told that the insurance co. Said I pulled my service and gone else where. I had not. Hearing Life was supposed to look into this and call me back which they never did. You will wait over 45 minutes on line waiting for their "customer service".
I tried to use Hearing Life in Damarscotta Maine. I made an appointment and a week later when I arrived I was told the technician had to leave. No apology from the receptionist, just told I would have to call and make another appointment. Why she couldn't reschedule is a mystery, but I didn't want to deal with such a rude company. I came to find out the technician is now working a different company in Falmouth. A call to Hearing Life routes you through two automated systems and finally to some corporate call center. Seems like they mostly want to get you scheduled or find out if you saw their ad. They don't seem to care about local service. I even received a mailer today with the name of the ex-technician listed. I'm so glad I didn't purchase anything from them.
I was a previous customer of HearingLife having decided last year to go elsewhere in the future due to lack of satisfaction with this Waynesville office. Out of the blue a couple weeks ago, I got a call to come in for a free hearing test, ear inspection and hearing aid adjustments. I explained that I was not interested, I was looking for an office with an AuD and that I would be looking elsewhere later this summer. The offer was repeated - no commitments from me needed. The offer was too good to be refused and after I was told several times it was inclusive and totally free with no insurance involvement. I accepted an appointment.
I showed up 15 minutes early "for paperwork" this morning as instructed. I was the first appointment of the day, the door was locked displaying a "closed" sign and the lights were off. I waited for 15 minutes, finally was admitted, and told the there was no paperwork. A bad start for sure.
When I was brought into the testing office, after the niceties, I was told that I was not eligible for "what Headquarters had offered me." I could however buy a multi-year service plan and we could move forward from there.
After I again described the unsolicited free offer, I was given, to no avail, I expressed my total dissatisfaction with this wasted visit. Then, I was offered a free hearing test BUT informed the results would not be used to adjust or tune my hearing aids - essentially a wasted hearing test with no purpose.
There was no arguing or discussion. This was a problem with "headquarters scheduling" resulting in the making of offers that could not be honored at the local office. I left the office as I heard for the umpteenth time that this was a "headquarters error / headquarters problem" and not the local office's fault. Nothing could be done - a wasted trip and wasted time.
I wonder how many elderly get cheated by them and dont fight back. I bought a $1300 aid. I love the people and service in California bur I got a bill from New Jersey saying once I signed the contract it voided my insurance discount. NOT TRUE. I have been fighting them for 6 mos. I know I am right. Dont put yourself thru this but if they try to xxxyou around contact the New Jersey Attorney General.
AccuQquest was acquired by Hearing Life. I paid $ 5100 for hearing aids. I had a malfunction on the right one that was fixed now on the left one the same problem. I am unable to get a response from the store in Speedway IN for an appointment. Emailed corp. office and not got any response. This company totally lacks customer service. Buyer BEWARE.
My partner has been struggling with hearing loss for the past year.He has resisted hearing aids due to cost, self consciousness, fear of the unknown. A friend referred us to Hearinglife. I made the appointment the next day.He was thoroughly tested and found to have significant loss. The audiologist was well versed with hearing loss, as he wore hearing aids himself. He was absolutely professional, caring, and knowledgeable, and afforded us all the time we needed to make an informed decision. After wearing the hearing aids for two weeks, my partner has adjusted to them extremely well. It has changed our home life dramatically! We should have gone a year ago. We highly recommend Hearinglife. We cannot put a price on our health and the quality of our life.

We had a very excellent office visit with Audiologist Roger Theobald and assistant Lexi in Boise. Needed assistance while on vacation from Illinois. They exceeded our expectations!
And corrected previous mistakes made on my husbands aids!
I had a good audiologist who spent a great deal of time with me. They even called me in for a 2 month service review. I went back for new wax guards once and they were given to me. The 2nd time I went back I had a very rude receptionist who stated I did not deserve them before she even got my name or looked up my account. It appeared as though she was just too lazy to get up out of her chair or look up my account. Everything just escalated from there after I called my insurance company. She got more rude with every phone contact with her. I will not be going back.

I have been dealing with Hearing Life for three years. They give superb customer service & alway go that extra mile. I would recommend a earring test with them & the purchase of hearing aides.
