After much searching I bought Devices from "Hearing Life." Unfortunately the previous Tech. Pursued other avenues... but Leslie Murphy kept the service and professionalism of this facility alive. Leslie has been working hard with me to fine tune my hearing aids, and I'll have to admit, very patiently. Thank you Hearing Life and especially Leslie for your help. Egon S
Customer service lacking of a certified technician. Tech has a very sour disposition. Always seems that she doesnt want bothered with your problem. I have purchased new hearing aids in the past but dont think I will purchase from this center again.
My partner has been struggling with hearing loss for the past year.He has resisted hearing aids due to cost, self consciousness, fear of the unknown. A friend referred us to Hearinglife. I made the appointment the next day.He was thoroughly tested and found to have significant loss. The audiologist was well versed with hearing loss, as he wore hearing aids himself. He was absolutely professional, caring, and knowledgeable, and afforded us all the time we needed to make an informed decision. After wearing the hearing aids for two weeks, my partner has adjusted to them extremely well. It has changed our home life dramatically! We should have gone a year ago. We highly recommend Hearinglife. We cannot put a price on our health and the quality of our life.

We had a very excellent office visit with Audiologist Roger Theobald and assistant Lexi in Boise. Needed assistance while on vacation from Illinois. They exceeded our expectations!
And corrected previous mistakes made on my husbands aids!
Too many negatives. Hard to assemble. Change battery at least once. Every week.
In addition, Bought $300.00 charger to keep batteries charged up for a year. Did not work properly. Took it back. Was told that model was discontinued and my warranty was running out. They offered me a new " improved" model at a discount. Would not replace the defective model.
I have hardly used these hearing aids at all because of the problems with them. Also because their office was closed for months due to COVID,.
Also, these hearing aids can't be insured for loss, and they MAY ALMOST SURELY be lost sooner or later because with wearing glasses, a mask, plus the hearing aid itself they come loose and fall off. Opps, too bad! Don't expect a refund for returning these aids. We have paid over $2000. 00 already on these $4,000.00 hearing aids. They have changed company ownership twice. I am returning them when they open on Tuesday, and will not pay another dime

This is a come-on that appears to offer free hearing aid as compensation for participation in a 'study'. In reality, you are required to purchase a hearing device and they don't give a $#*! about you after that. Then, after dodging you for three weeks, you are unable to secure a refund.
Utter bull$#*!.

The front office person can be rude & does not accept any responsibility. Obviously poor communication between provider & front desk. I spoke with provider on Thursday regarding lost hear aid. She said it would be available the next day or Monday. When I called Monday the person at the desk knew nothing about it & accused me of not ordering & not paying., which I had done. She later called & said provider had sent an email which she said she hadn't received & said "it's not my fault " & never apologized for the way she had treated me. I only went there initially because my previous provider was no longer available but would NEVER recommend Hearing Life to anyone
I have been dealing with Hearing Life for three years. They give superb customer service & alway go that extra mile. I would recommend a earring test with them & the purchase of hearing aides.
They are honest, reliable & don't upsell or push unnecessary things. I tried two others companies before choosing Hearing Life.
They are the best I've found anywhere
BEWARE you have to make appointments for everything, literally, a 30 second adjustment, you can't just walk in! I've been going to the Wilbraham MA office for 3 1/2 years, been through 4-5 receptionist, not one stayed long enough to know the job and now they removed that position all together so your left with an audiologist that thinks answering phones are beneath him, so he lets them go to VM, I know this because I was watching him from the window as I called 6 times. I'm receiving calls two three times a week from hearinglife telemarketers!? Why, I already have their hearing aids. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Extremely satisfied with my Oticon Cros hearing aids. Nothing but professionalism from the time my hearing test to the selection of my hearing aids. 90 days later the product is working as advertised. This location is adjacent to St. Joseph's hospital and convenient to public transit. Have no hesitation in recommending this provider. Special mention for hearing specialist Melissa Attalla.

Unfortunately wasn't given the opportunity to receive more service, which after this bad review am grateful. I went in after waiting 3 weeks for my hearing test, was called to confirmed apt. I went in to get my hearing test, additional test that required a family member to come all g. After testing this person says to me he would contact me in regards to what hearing aides I qualified for, without getting the molding impression as I've always had gotten before not to waste time. He wouldn't do them nor did he showed me what hearing aides they provided. It upset me as my daughter had missed work for nothing, because nothing was done. I contacted my insurance to get information they told be they had already faxed the referral 3 weeks prior and again when I called about the issue. Hearing life ( Victor) never contacted me as to what the insurance would cover for me. They waste your time, they provided nothing.
Hearing Life came in and bought the locally owned hearing aid center I have used for more than a decade. Immediately the customer service, the quality of the audiologists, and everything about the practice has fallen apart. Today, to cap it all off, I called in and asked about a hearing aid repair and they told me the only way I could find out if it was repairable was to drive in. I drove the 40 minutes and was told I will "we can't fix this." And that I would have to buy new instruments. Well if that is the case I will be buying new instruments from another local center. I would not buy cat litter from these people.

Hearing Life Aids are not reliable long term they work initially but falter quickly there service is there they are polite saying that the service is not quick and excuses are inconsistent they are price point in the high area not the most expensive but far from the least.
I am on my 2nd set of Hearing Aids with this company the first set was battery operated and performed better than my 2nd set that is battery charged. When at peak I have no complaints however they do not stay at peak performance and have to be returned to be tuned up or replaced. The technicians do not stay making one work with a new techie from time to time. Draw your own conclusion this is not meant to persuade anyone to not use them it is only my experience over 6.5 years dealing with the same location
I want to thank Anthony Nash of the Rockledge, FL office for changing my life. I knew for years that I needed an earing aid but didn't want to deal with it. When I received the flyer in the mail I took it as an omen that it was time, plus all my friend were tired of repeating them selves. I found both Anthony and Dorrie to be very attentive and caring. Thanks to to you I have a whole new world of hearing. Bea Kim
I had one hearing aid fall out of my ear continuously. I have never had this problem with my previous 2 sets of hearing aids. After I first received them the one fell out of my ear 3 times. I returned it and it was re-made thicker. It fell out of my ear 2 times. I returned it and after I received it it fell out of my ear and I lost it.
HearLife would not replace it unless I paid the $300 lost deductible.
I do not feel it is my fault. This hearing aid was poorly made.

Old hearing aids.
I had a very bad experience with Hearing Life. I went to a different place in Toronto and got the same pair of hearing aids for $1,600.00 less. They also provided molds. The condescending, agist attitude had me upset for several days. I think an international company may have bought up the old Hear for Life/Hearing life and it has different people and a different corporate culture/feel. Nothing is transparent including the unitemized bill. Just another COVID loss. It had a really bad international help desk feel. I think the dispenser was quite good once she was done the blurb and could answer questions but she was stuck with a bad protocol. And there were a lot of short cuts. Low level cookie cutter service for a completely non-transparent dispensing fee which grossly inflated the price to $6,700.00.
Horrible experience! My husband and I went to Hearing Life in Roswell GA and saw Scott Brunson. I saw the commercial on t. V and scheduled an appt for my husband who is 47 with Hearing loss. Scott was very nice to my husband but very rude and disrespectful towards me. He spoke to me as if I was stupid and no business talking. Apparently he believes women should be seen and not heard. Because of his unprofessionalism, we will not be purchasing anything through him. We asked for information to research but he would not tell us anything. He was so pushy. The Hearing aid my husband tried on brought him to tears because he could actually hear. It was an amazing moment ruined by Scott. We as the customer should be given the time to research different Hearing aids to see what would work best for US, NOT HIM!

Blissfully ignorant and bullying company. They never contacted NALC (my health insurer) directly/they botched using Amplifon-a third party billing service on 6/21/2021/ignored my frequent visits to their store to inquire WHY they hadn't provided a paid in full status in Nov.and Dec,2022 and a certified ltr in Feb.2022.and sent ME a billing that I owed them $2,000! I filed a complaint file #******* with the State of MI Department of Insurance and Financial services.
Great help with my hearing aids and adjustments but incredibly difficult to contact the company it's just pathetic trying to come and get this company they're not there or they don't return calls
Your 30-day challenge is a joke. It's nothing more than a "come on" to sell hearing aids. Really, do you think we are that stupid? And, the actor you're using is embarrassing.
On *******@230pm I have a after delivery appointment with Jack Kimball at 397 Western Ave., South Portland, Maine. License #DL419. I arrived at 225pm as not to be late. I checked in with the secretarial staff who told me to have a seat. I heard a loud conversation on a telephone down the hall. I do not know who it was, but the conversation was social and at 255pm I gave up waiting and left. No follow up call from Jack Kimbal on that day or by 7-22-22. After they got my $8000, I never heard back after being completely ignored. Appointments mean nothing to Mr. Kimball.
The staff doesn't follow-through on their promises. On at least three occasions they promised to call back with information but failed to do so. Once they required that I drive 43 miles to their Broadview office to get my hearing aids back after one of them stopped working less than one year after purchase. When I got there, the equipment was not working right, so I had to leave without my hearing aids. I could not wait around while they tried to fix it, and no way was I going to drive another 43 miles whenever they did have it fixed, so I told them to ship the aids to me. They promised to overnight them, which was another promise broken. In fact, I didn't get them until three days later. Unacceptable! I sincerely regret purchasing anything from these people and would never recommend them to anyone.
BTW, after I purchased my hearing aids from them a year ago, they have since closed the ONE office that was close by. Now I have to drive 70 miles round trip to have service done... that's IF they don't also close the Medina office.

I have had trpuble since i got my hearing aids. I saw an audiologist at our winter home. My hearings aids did nothing for my hearing. Not the right technology. Not properly fit, speakers would not stay in my ears. They would not send my charts to my audiologist. I spent thousands to get the correct hearibg aids.
I purchased hearing aids from what was then, Total Hearing and they lasted a very short time and were in for repair more times than not. They agreed to extend my insurance coverage and now that the coverage is expired I need to pay $275 to repair and its only covered for 6 months. WHY DO THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ESPECIALLY SENIORS?
I initially paid $3000. And cannot afford to purchase another pair or take a chance repairing them. I'm having difficulty hearing and it's very stressful especially when with a group.
In the beginning the audiologist was constantly being changed. Most of the time the office was closed until they could find another worker. How is this good business?!

Hearing life's corporate insurance department is horrible. They keep giving me the runaround about reimbursing a patient the $ her insurance company paid them for her hearing aids. They are trying to double dip because she paid in full and then her insurance sent them a check as well and they keep giving me the runaround instead of just cutting her a reimbursement check. DON"T PAY THEM IN FULL!
My husband went to the Corpus Christi Tx location to be fitted for hearing aids. They overcharged him for his portion of the insurance amount. The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from our insurance company stated the portion he was responsible for. We thought when we brought this discrepancy to Hearing Life's attention they would credit our credit for the overcharge, but THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! We were told they don't handle insurance! The corporate office handles that! We asked for the number for the corporate office & we were told they could not give the number out! We are still fighting with HearingLife to get our refund. We have made numerous phone calls & talked to different people every time with a different excuse. They say they have to talk to a supervisor and will call you back, but they dont! Hearing Life is a scam & needs to be shut down. Check out the complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I wish we had, because we wouldn't be in this situation now!
