I *really* wanted to like this company because they were offering a tea that helped with the manage of glucose levels. They advertised a discount, and since their teas are quite expensive, I decided to take advantage of it and place an order.
There is a subscription option, which I chose, as the cost is lower and, combined with the discount, would have been much more affordable for me, especially for something I wasn't sure would work or I'd even like.
The discount code didn't work, but I went ahead and placed the order and just sent them an email. That's when things went south.
Apparently, the discount code wasn't for subscriptions, but that was not specified in the ad.
When they asked me if I wanted to cancel the subscription, I told them I'd let them know. I wanted to give it a day or so to think about. Less than 24 hours later both subscription and order were cancelled (at my request, according to the email, but I never requested it).
They claimed that, per my request (a real one this time), that they closed my account and removed all personal info from it. But as of this evening, I could still access, and the only thing (recently, after another request by email) removed was my CC info.
But maybe the absolute worse thing about this whole mess is that the "Customer Love Manager" (gag) who has been replying to my emails (quickly, I'll add--the only reason this company gets any stars at all) uses syrupy sweet and solicitous language and apologizes profusely because she, of course, wants me to be satisfied with their company, but not once did she offer to reactivate the incorrectly (on their part) cancelled order or to proactively do anything to keep me as a customer. She even continued to email me after I told her not to.
This has been a ridiculous waste of my time, but at least I saw the truth behind this company.
Order at your own risk. Or don't!
