After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
I had go exit out of the system several & go back in. Other people experienced similar problems.

I have googled HI Bid and read that I can expect no assistance from Hi-Bid in a dispute with an auctioneer. Also, it appears that one auctioneer can vindictively ban a bidder and it prevents bids to other auctioneers. The personal decision is forget him and Hi-Bid, but the business decision says suck it up

I bid on a nearby auction and won a number of items. In the terms I was entitled to free shipping but on close I was asked to pay for it. The auctioned items also changed location and countries upon successful bid. Every question to the auctioneers goes unanswered with demands for more money for shipping but never specifies an amount.
Chosen as I use the government version loosely affiliated with the site. Can't contact him if for customer service...

On the site it says price realized not open? I've emailed Antique finder services Inc 2 times and several days apart. I didn't receive any feedback. Can I cancel the order? I'm new to this and have won many bids other places that I sent a message to responded right away. If I overlooked anything I apologize. Thanks Nancy
Because I'm fairly new to coin collecting and checked it out now I'm semi hooked
I look for specific things. Sometimes I give up though because I come across auctions I wouldn't bid in but I have to scan through their endless lots. The ability to just not include specific auctions would great.
Because it is the best sight to find what you are looking for and get a true auction experience. It also has many of my favorite auction houses.
Overall, my experience with HiBid has been great. Most auctioneers are responsive to email and text messages and do their best to describe their items in details and in the form of multiple pictures.

I placed a bid but the reserve was not met,couldn't find a reserve price all it says is you may have won. Contacted hibid to ask what the next step would be still waiting for a response.

I thought i was an item winner, in Pasco auction. I expected to get a confirmation email. Nothing, maybe I mis -understood? It said things could be shipped? Are they sending it? I see no communication? If it is shipped? Confirmation of winning? Where to pick it up? Weird?

Nothing magical here. Multiple sellers selling jewelry out with certain specs and quality that do not match up once you take to a legitimate appraiser. Waste of time buying here.

First time on-line bidding (and winning). Overall a pretty good experience although I had difficulty finding auctions with the particular item I'm interested in and did not find an explanation of how to make arrangements for shipping. Would appreciate a "global" search over all action sites. (If it exists and I just haven't found it - please disregard.). I will be using this platform in the future.

Pick up was easy and I will definitely keep watching for more items that we might need in the future. Items are available to view before if there are any concerns about condition or quality.
They have all the auctions in the area listed and the platform is easy to use. I can add my watch items and bid easily and track all items I am interested in.
