HiBid has a rating of 4.1 stars from 2,167 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with HiBid most frequently mention great experience, bidding process, and online auctions. HiBid ranks 3rd among Auction sites.
After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
HiBid's easy to use format makes participating in online auctions both fun and easy. Once you have registered and have a payment source on file, biding on items whether a week in advance or in the last minute is a simplistic process. You can browse nearby auctions or consider taking a leisurely drive to retrieve won lots, as they give the option of searching by both zip code and mileage. HiBid is actually easier than using Ebay and PayPal, as you only have to log into one program to participate. Notifications about you item's status are promptly sent when outbid and contacting the seller with questions is an added option I've had success with previously. Summaries of your purchase and pick-up location are promptly sent upon closure of the auction.
Hibid was the tool/resource that an online auction I was following used a couple of years ago. Since then I've learned how many other companies use them and look at items all over the place.
During last few minutes of bidding I was unable to bid for no apparent reason. Lost the item
Past experience
The mower stated it worked last season. Then when picking it up it doesn't run and "needs work". There was no battery in it. Putting a battery doesn't fix it. There are broken and burnt wires. Clearly a misleading description. Always a risk, but accurate descriptions are important

Price was not accurate, all of the sudden bid jump from 68 to 70
I recently bid on an auction and was the high bidder on a $2 bill when the auction "ended." I was surprised to see the auction "re-opened" at least two more times giving plenty of others an opportunity to steal the bill out from under me…which they did. If the end of an auction is not the end of an auction, can you depend on its integrity? Seems not.
Where is my invoice? It's not easy to find, are there outbid notifications?

Bidding on and item and following it. When bidding was done (I was high bid) was told that " I MAY HAVE WON". Either I did or I didn't. Please clarify.
Sencillo y facil de pujar en los articulos y estan asegurados que es muy importante, una vez sufri un fraude grande en otra casa de subastas.
Por que cuentan con seguro contra pagos!
Son when I have many items from one auction I found it won't let me see the current price and have to go to the page. I really want to stay where I can see all my items. You see, items with soft close and thr timer resets then forced to having to navigate multiple item pages to keep bidding. I would rather go to my bidding page and do it there until the close and not go live into the items page.
Bought lots of items and have pretty much been successful.
For some reason item 911 got rescheduled and I missed bidding.
I would suggest in order to get better prices for the items shown, auctioneer should take pictures with the measurements of that item or the size.
If not, at least put it in the description of item.
I would have bid on more items if I knew the dimensions of it or the size of clothes, jackets, shoes.
We have no way of knowing from the pictures.
Think about it!
Great items.
I was trying to bid on items in the last 5 min. Apparently others do this also. However it would not let me bid on some of the items. Can I put in an auto bid until it reaches a certain amount?
I don't have to leave the house!
I like how you showed what the cost would be with buyer premium under the bid number. It was fun and exciting
A friend introduced me to it
I have enjoyed almost all my dealings through HiBid, which is a smooth and easy to use system all the way from first view through bidding, payment and detailed invoices for filing.
The only very occasional problem comes from the few individual auction companies that aggressively overcharge for packing, transporting and/shipping.
I like the HiBid layout and overall system much better than any of the competing ones.
I assume u guys didn't realize lights in clock didn't work and how could u when cord was cut off,
My fault for not asking, paid premium price, lesson learned.
Thanks

Estate sales. Com
Easy to register, easy to bid, easy to pay. I had no issues with anything.
Convenience in finding local auctions.
I can understand the "soft close" benefits for an auction, but please educate the other bidders! Lots of bidders are acting like this is eBay and placing bids at the last few seconds running an auction up an extra 5+ minutes without realizing what is happening. The warning about soft closes needs to be in large bold text explaining to the users what happens.
Bargains can be found.
There were some hiccoughs when looking at specific items then going back to the main stream it would kick me out & I'd have to start over & scroll through too many pages. Not 100% user friendly.
Only option for the specific venue
Purchased 2 items without issue. Attempted to participate in a lot today and bids weren't accepted. Only notice was that my bids were "pending approval by the auctioneer" even though I had an email confirming registration (for reference the item was a set of Kia Sportage EX car mats). Approval was never received nor a reason provided.
No customer service response was received.
Items available.
Most lots i was able to bid fine. There were a couple lots that i was not able to raise my bid on and the lot closed and i was unable to raise my bid, so i missed out on those lots. I clicked to raise my bid but the system did not respond. Also i don't like that some lots close below the screen i'm bidding on and i miss increasing my bids on those lots as well.
That was the platform the auction company was using
The newest design for the website needs to be changed / updated by a good web designer. There are too many flaws / quirks that happen while on the website or during bids. My friends complain about bidding from their iPhones too.
Convenient place to stay organised with multiple auctions.
Salt lake branch are thieves I had stopped a payment due to was bid by mistake they sold the chair and now they will not refund me my money it was 679.00 and they said they would only refund half they won't give me the chair or my money back BEWARE THEY ARE THIEVES ALSO GOING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU

I use HiBid all the tie to search online auctions within 50 miles of home. It makes it so much easier to scan several auctioneers' for bargains and treasure without having to go to each auctioneer's site I like knowing within minutes of an auction ending if I've won items or not. And I can do all of this from the comfort of home, although I'm sure it will work on one of those "magic phones" if you have one. I prefer my 'puter with its larger screen.
HiBid gathers info on many local auctions, making my searches for bargains much easier. The format allows for photos, and info on items up for bid, and provides the locations and terms of each auction. I can also easily check back to see if I have been out bid
