After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
I have bid on several different auctions and I have had a wonderful experience every time. Looking up auctions is simple and bidding was easy and pick up even easier. I love HiBid!

I have been looking for a non-expensive car for a while now and the other auction site that I had been looking at had so many hoops to jump through I just didnt want to do it. When I came across HiBid and was checking out the jewelry section, cuz I was also looking for an engagement ring... so I looked at local car auction places and found HiBid is working nationwide and found a motorhome and Mercedes Benz that I just purchased with no hassle and great ease. Ease of buying and location of auctions.
There are a few auctions every week I would have missed otherwise.
I ended up buying something I wasn't bidding on. But because the "auto delete upon close" was active, the auction shifted to the next lot and I wasn't paying attention. Now I'm paying for something I didn't want. My bad for not fully watching the movement, system bad for being able to shift while a bid page is open.
Because thats where the sale was I was wanted to bid on
Everything went well. Pictures were up early for preview. Any questions I had were explained on the site. Bidding went smoothly. Pickup of my winning bid items also went smooth & efficient.

No hazzles, set your max bid and let the system bid for you. If at the end you want to top your bid it is still posdible with the soft close bidfing
The auction I was interested in was done with hibid
I find HiBid difficult to navigate and use. It's certainly not user friendly. I find it odd that with every auction you need to register with the auctioneer and reenter the cc info. Doesnt seem very secure. Each auction have their own rules, payment times and shipping times, if they ship. By lurking for months I thought I finally knew enough to register. I then registered for an online only auction and won a few things. The withdraw for payment was done several days later. I haven't heard anything from the auction company and now I'm wondering if I'll actually get the items I won. I wonder if any of the auction companies are vetted to make sure they are legit. But maybe it's a slow process and I'll eventually be notified of shipping charges and stuff will be mailed. It really feels like you're on your own here and the method of making sure you get the items is the cross your fingers method. On another topic, I still have not figured out how to search for a specific auction. I do a search for auctions in my state and sometimes it only shows one or two. But an hour later I can search and get 15.

A very good transaction overall. My only complaint was There was only 1 picture of each lot that I was interested in. Very general pictures, impossible to determine manufacturer of product. I took a lot of chances and ended of with too much made in Taiwan. I could have gone to the preview on Sat but I was already driving 90 mins to pick up.

When bidding on multiple lots, hard to keep track of winning bids and focusing on future bids. Also, I am using a mobile device and I'm new to online auctions.
I currently have an auction place in town, which is what lead me to HiBid's.

Registration and bidding were fairly easy to use. However, closing time was later than advertised, and the additional two-minute increments were on top of that. It was confusing.
I was looking for a particular item that happened to be available nearby.

Great experience. So much fun. Love getting gently used items at a fraction of the cost of new. I also feel great knowing I'm buying something someone else treasured that I can now treasure.

Several local auction companies use HiBid nit really a choice
If the seller could include their address in the email or on the receipt that would be amazing! Maybe reminding bidders of pick up conditions and day and times would be helpful because sometimes us bidders have bad eyesight!
