After likely deleting my notice regarding items I won, I became worried that something had gone wrong. Upon calling and speaking with a very nice agent, I was quickly assured that my auction win had indeed been shipped slightly late. Sure enough it showed up in my mail the next day!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
Bidding is quick and easy! I enjoy listening and being part of the live auctions!
HiBid gives you several options on how to watch your specific items which makes bidding easier. They also show very clear cut off times for when each item will close which gives the bidder plenty of time to counter bid if necessary.
I didn't choose HiBid for this auction, the auctioneer did, but I will certainly choose HiBid in the future.

Would be helpful if the auctioneers would respond to enquiries/ requests for clarifications or specifics not included in product descriptions. I have never received a reply so stopped asking any Q's and don't bid unless 100% clear

I enjoyed the whole experience except when I was bidding on more than one item. At the end of bidding it was hard to keep up with live bidding when bidding on one or more items.

They are allowing auctions houses to scam you out of your money even after proof and will not bar them from saling on there site. Berger Coin out of loveland CO has cheated and stolen money from auctions they put on. Avoid them at all cost or you will get ripped off. They don't send you what they auction if they send it at all. Hibid still allows them to put on auctions after complaint after complaint just yo make a dollar. Hibid should be held responsible for allowing them to keep on running auctions. Bad Hibid bad
Only thing I didn't like was at the end of bidding was it said I( may have won),leaving me guessing if if I did or not.

I love the site and the bidding is effortless but the shipping prices are ridiculous- ex: a package of diapers won bid at $10 with fee $13 shipping $23. When that package of diapers sells for $39 at store so really only ended up saving a couple dollars. Another item retails 135 won bid at 95 with fees paid 116 shipping was $35.05 would have been less expensive just to buy at local store.

At the last auction bidding was closing all over the place you had to scroll up then down then back up. They need to be in order it was such a mess

When an issue happens this site does respond, take responsibility or reaches out the auction's warehouse to do the right thing or back up the customer. Same thing with better business bureau, you are in your own to support and help yourself when the warehouse isn't truthful or fair so be ready for some frustration and dissatisfaction. Some ware house are awesome specially if they sell new thing but most are just trying to sneak broken things

I was searching for something and instead found HiBid. I love auctions, so I couldn't resist checking it out.

I don't trust this site anymore since I won items and replied to the shipping to have it shipped and never received the items but was charged. I can't get any response from HiBid as to where me items are and no refund. 3 emails sent no reply. Turning them into BBB and attorney General for fraudulent sells.

Totally worth my time. Got some great stuff. Little intimidating for me at first because I'm not the best with technology, but I caught on.

I won 2 bids:
Paid $37 for a doll. I was sent a $37 receipt, to later realize that it was for shipping only. I later won another bid $15 for a much larger item. I asked 3 times to be contacted to finalize the purchase. I also left a voice message. Finally, someone called me to tell me that my item was shipped. They charged me $100 for shipping. I will NEVER bid on HiBid again!
Tip for consumers:
I seriously doubt that Hibid would do this - they should have a shipping calculator to allow bidders to make informed decisions.

I sold the doll for less than I purchased it. I will be losing money when I sell the second item.

To find object I was seeking.
It is very easy to bid and keep an eye on your lot with this site. Descriptions of lots, pick-up/shipping, etc vary widely between auctioneers though, depending on how thorough they are. I love being able to bid online, as my job schedule has never allowed me to attend in person!

Rude. Manager (red hair lady) unhappy, unhelpful. Product was described as new/other, however it was damaged to point of no repair. Questioned the Manager she opted for contact the owner and he will say the same, "you weren't forced to bid". Made my day.
Read above. Although I didn't use the foul language included with the explanation on this post. The manager has a broad urban vocabulary.
